8221  Other / Off-topic / Re: Want to become a bounty manager!! on: February 24, 2018, 09:25:19 AM
Hey guys, i want to become a bounty manager. so what's the procedure of becoming manager or what's the criteria..?
plz someone assist me regarding this matter..

thanks
prashanta

The best way to become a bounty manager is to work as an assistant manager to another bounty manager at first and gain experience. There are many managers in this forum who are managing bounties and would want an assistant to help them out - you should try contacting them for such needs.

After that once you have gained enough experience you can try starting your own service with this previous work experience as references and get some clients as well if you worthy enough. Wink
8222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin? on: February 24, 2018, 09:21:07 AM
For me i can invest only for about 20%-30% of money. Because investing in bitcoin is so risky but it is helpful.

How is investing in bitcoin being considered as "helpful"? Does it "help" anybody in any way? That would be a wrong term to use if you ask me. Risky yes but not as risky as investing in altcoins. One can buy bitcoin at low price and hodl for a period of 1-2 years and then sell it or set a stop/loss goal and sell when it rises.

I would invest something that im willing to risk because investing to bitcoin is taking risk. Its hard to invest when you dont have enough to give.

You mean to say you dont have enough money to invest in? Then I would like to know how you came to waste your time in this forum? You should be doing something else trying to earn money in real life then post in this forum. Grin
8223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: February 24, 2018, 09:16:54 AM
Im always start with my choice bet. When I win on that bet, I  double my next bet until either im lose on the next bet or i am  in a winning streak. When either of the two happens, I rest my bet amount.

Well if you are on a green streak do you continue to double it and keep on the green streak? I am sure you dont because then the next red will make you bust a huge amount once the green ends. What you are doing is simply another Martingale or another of those strategies which will fail in the end.

You need to stop once you hit a certain amount and remain content with that. If you try to continue your streak you will hit a huge red streak at one time and you will see your entire balance wiped out in a few seconds.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1639324 DannyHamiltom

Should this user be tagged? The name is pretty deceptive and not really a parody account or anything so could be used for shenanigans in the future.
I didn't want to be imposter. I simply created a user name, I didn't do anything to cheat anyone, why give me negative trust?
'Simply a user-name' - This is the most creative you have got in life when it comes to choosing a user-name right ? You're correct you don't deserve a negative trust, you deserve to be banned for being so creative.
I often see members with user-names like 'Sat0shi Nakam0to' etc which should be banned as well.
Before that, I didn't know the existence of the user name of DannyHamilton. I just created this account and it didn't take long. Do I have the freedom to create a user name?

You can try sending a Username change request to Theymos for this. But I dont think he entertains this sort of stuff anymore as far as I have heard.

You can still contribute to the forum with this account because that is what one creates an account on a forum - to join the discssions and to get to know new things about something they previously did not know.

I am sure you have something else in mind.  Tongue
8225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: February 23, 2018, 11:13:07 AM
I have 20$ of bitcoin. What should i do with it instead of spending all.Tell me Pls. Cheesy

It is very small amount. Depends on what you want to achieve with this amount ?

LOL is this another of the shitposters gang trying to increase their post counts?

OP how did you acquire that much amount of "dust money"?? Farming faucets? Thats the most obvious option for people for collecting these tenny weeny amounts.

Anyway back on topic - try to put that money to good use, learn where you can spend the money and get something good out of it. Otherwise you can always hold on to it hoping it grows huge when bitcoin rises again.
8226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: February 23, 2018, 11:10:45 AM
Not just that taking a break sometimes gives you a open mind as well and you just feel not to gamble anymore and just quit away , with this you not only safe some of your funds you even make sure you are not getting addicted to it
This is what I do when I'm not in mood, I'm stopping and when I had enough losses there's no need to pursue and chase my losses for that day. Giving up for that day doesn't mean that you are loser, it only means that you understand that you are getting deeper and if you are not going to do anything, situation will become worst.

I agree with your point. Sometimes its better to call it a day and not become addicted to gambling to such an extent that it hampers your day-to-day activities. Gambling should be kept to a mode of entertainment and fun and not as a method to make money. The only money-maker is the casino owners and not the casino players.

Its also important to stop playing once a while because it will refresh your mind and sometimes stop the bad streak.
8227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for those who are in a minus and a loss. DON'T SELL! on: February 23, 2018, 11:06:35 AM
learnt my lessons few years back as an investor that as long as you are holding a good coin and you believe in it, then hold. They will always do fine in the long run and you will be so surprise the level they will get than when you sell them.
Sometimes its just better to sell them at short term. Not every ICO is going to be the next ethereum and not every ICO is going to be legit. Hence I would sell those which I am not comfortable with in short term. Again this is dependent on the investors mentality and some people love to hodl for long term watching their money grow.

Unless you are a trader who will always be monitoring the charts and obviously would have sold at the top and buy back at dip, there is no need to worry as an investor. The market will recover, even get better than before and you will be smiling.

Once a day checking of charts works for me. I dont want to be a robot preying on every dip and rise. For ordinary people who have trading a hobby it not possible to do this everyday.
8228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: before or after new year on: February 23, 2018, 11:02:19 AM
Purchase now BTC and Litecoin by summer they should grow in price. Leave a part of money to purchase on low levels
Yes it is still good to purchase more bitcoin since Op is undecided yet better let him thinks more the risks in buying btc. Btc and litecoin are good investment it will surely gives the moment to earned profit. Risks is always in for all of us so invest only on what you can afford.

Although the new year passed away 2 months back, still the market has not shown a huge rise. As expected it dropped at new year and is now on the rise and fall again. I would suggest people to watch the market closely for now because there is always a chance for rise in future. Stocking up more bitcoin is also a good idea.

Litecoin has shown a drop yesterday and its a good time to buy some litecoin if you want to hold for future.
8229  Economy / Lending / Re: Asking for 0.1 ETH for 6 days will repay 25% on top on: February 22, 2018, 03:35:11 PM
what about 3k doge for a colleteral?
   DLN26NaMuxN64XTFJXYJwNDE6VQfGB7PX6

So I believe you did not even bother to read the stickies and what a collateral is and how much is generally needed to get a loan in this forum.

You can get a smaller loan which is by securing this doge collateral for a loan. But that is much smaller than 0.1 ETH.

Like Vod had said "Drive-by" loan requests by throwaway accounts are always fun to read.
8230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways casinos cheat on: February 22, 2018, 02:25:12 PM
I think with magnets in the roulette, the ball that falls on the number is rigged. Magnets pull the ball to the number that is probably rigged with some kind of computer system.

I believe you speaking of land-based casinos aka physical casinos. In this forum we are mainly discussing about bitcoin/altcoin accepting casinos and thus physical casinos are out of the picture - I dont know any physical casino which is accepting bitcoin or altcoin till date.

When you are not gambling on real presence, you should go with provably fair. When the game outcome are locally influenced, to some extent every dealer would have some level of influence on the outcome.

All the popularly know sites where people gamble are provably fair. With provably fair every casino would be a scam and anyone playing there is a fool to trust the system. Provably fair makes every roll mathematically fair and thus making it unbiased.
8231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learnings from crash on: February 22, 2018, 02:20:47 PM
I have learned to be more patient and I don't need to check on my portfolios every time because that leads to emotions you don't understand and makes you think you'll just sell your coins with losses because you panicked. I also realized and learned that in this kind of drastic crash, it is better to trade for long term too.
Holding is still the best and effective way to gain profit in times like this even for a long term investment.Panic selling will just add to the dumps so learn to be more patient and study first the market before making some actions so you won't have regrets in the end.

Not everybody is as good in trading as you and I are. They are humans and they are prone to acting as per their emotions when they see their money go down the drain. After all it is their money and though people advice others not to invest more that what they can afford to lose, some over-enthusiastic people may end up going "all in" on any crypto.

These are the people who panic at crash - the only advice I would give them is to have patience and not get a heart attack from the crash because the cycle will repeat.
8232  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies are struggling to level up their account on: February 21, 2018, 12:21:32 PM
Now there is a very bad phenomenon, with the implementation of the new system, many bounties have also raised the demand, novice is not accepted, most only accept high-level members. Does the author just need the elderly do not need new people to help promote it?

Yes because "elderly" meritable people here have following attributes
1. Read the rules of the forum
2. Know about crypto and know how to initiate meaningful discussions and not simply shitpost
3. Would not spam the forum with a ring of alt accounts made simply for the purpose of farming and grabbing bounties.

Stop complaining about the merit system its been almost less than a month now that it has been implemented and still shitposting noobs dont get the idea. Gone are the days when you could spam the forum and become "Member" in a short span of time. Get a life and get a job.
8233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin making the world go crazy? on: February 21, 2018, 12:14:20 PM
Because you can make lot of money in a short time. (and conversely)

If you talk about making and losing money. Then yes I will agree - people who are having blank brains will make mistakes and often these mistakes might cost a lot. Thats why one should invest huge amounts of money into crypto and be cautious about their own gains and when to get out.

Because its good to invest in bitcoin coz bitcoin value is high so people wants to invest in bitcoin and the world is talking about its value.
Yes, it is good to invest for our future. Investing in bitcoin is good choice cause in bitcoin you will earn high profit, the value of bitcoin is continues increasing that's why many investors wants to invest in bitcoin.

That is technically trading and not investing. Investors would buy a coin and then dump it one rise and then never look back - classical pumpers who move from one coin to another as whales. Traders go back to stable altcoins every now and then. They watch the market trends and make decisions based on their experience.
8234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: February 21, 2018, 12:10:19 PM
No my luck isn't so good also I have seen online though many people not getting their deserve reward one such case was in us who won the lawsuit and the casino had to pay her I think some million dollars and also for a trip to south africa as compensation
I'm sure there are plenty more situations like this

This is deadly and that casinos would have lost a huge million dollars and most likely even it would have shut down or else had taken a huge loss during that year. Though they even earn huge profits but it is major blow of million dollars and not a small amount which they had to compensate to that person.

Casinos earn a lot of money from the players - one can only imagine the number of coins going into the casino and the number of coins coming out of it. The house edge is always there to make greedy people lose their money if they dont stop.

So even if the casinos lose a lot there is always a reserve fund for them to draw from. Its like an emergency method for them to tide over in case some high roller comes in and wins a lot.
8235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading platform do you use? on: February 21, 2018, 12:06:40 PM
I like bittrex for trading between cryptos, but im missing option for trading with major currencies (usd, eur, gbp). Esspecialy last couple of days since all cryptos are dropping in price.

Which trading platform is good for beginers?

GDAX any good?

Thanks for advice

Bittrex is the best so far, you also can try for Binance or Bit-Z exchange or maybe Cryptopia, but i think the volume for trading in Cryptopia is not too high if compared with other markets.
since i become beginners in crypto, i use Bittrex as my trading platform because its interface is easy to understand how to used it

I agree that bittrex is a good exchange but bitrrex has been locking people's accounts for KYC to be done before withdrawals are possible. This is not something expected by a reputable exchange and this problem with KYC has been happening which makes everything public - which is supposed to be anonymous in the crypto community. People are looking for alternatives which dont have such issues and thus moving to Binance for now.

Honestly bittrex is a good exchange but the KYC gives everyone the creeps.
8236  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who will stop Lauda ? on: February 20, 2018, 02:58:03 PM
I have the necessary care and consideration. If I send you my statistics now, you will surely find something to tell me.  It is not my real purpose to be out of the way, but I think you are the followers of lauda.

I have had next to zero direct interaction with Lauda. Right now I'm more concerned about the safety of your patients.

dont be . everything is under my control

Thank you for your thoughts

A real Doctor and/or an anesthesiologist would not have this much time in the world to spam this forum with such BS.

Please dont lie about your education or your skills - people like you make the real doctors look like douchebags. They are far too busy handling their real lives and their professional lives and they dont have time to troll in the forum and open a thread like this and keep bumping it with every baseless crap that they can find out.

Also it does not matter who you are. You actions and the way you interact with people here makes what you are - in the internet and this forum - which you already have ruined on your own.
8237  Other / Meta / Re: Does Merit System Fair to everyone? on: February 20, 2018, 12:34:07 PM
This Merit System became an issue these days.

This Merit system is issue for spammers and bounty hunters. Most people like to rank up their accounts for bounties without doing quality posts. That's why bitcointalk changed rules. I have seen newbies also earned lot of Merit.

It is not an issue for people who contribute to the forum and those who are not coming to this forum simply enticed by the smell of "free cash and free bitcoin" which is widespread in the internet (read dust faucets).

If you have contributed to the forum and have helped people out I am sure they will have merited you at some point of time or the other. Dont come here simply running after bounties and all. Join the discussions and gradually you will see your merits increase when people start to appreciate your contributions.
8238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: February 20, 2018, 12:26:30 PM
Since bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies markets get into bearish trend since December 16, 2017 we have seeing alot of comments and post about people and traders asking were is the bottom and should we buy and hold?  I think personally, the downward trend is over when bitcoin push above $10,250 and $10,850 this morning!  The bullish trend has been trigger and bitcoin is going to break the December high of $19,000 and move above that level towards $25,000 before we can see another major bearish again. What did you think?
this is what i thought also after a 2weekd bearish season i think its already enough and bitcoin corrected is price well. may we saw another rally in the coming days? lets see and hope that bull season is already around.

Bitcoin price corrected upto 11k USD mark at this time but I believe prices will rise again till 15k USD and then another dump is coming. I dont think it will reach the 20k USD mark for sometime now and prices will rally at the point of 9-10k USD after dump. This is what I think is going to happen seeing the current trends in the last 3 months.

Altcoins seem to be bleeding (a few of them) because of the price rise in bitcoin and thus I am stocking up on new coins which completed ICO.
8239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: February 20, 2018, 12:18:07 PM
Guys i have almost a year playing a Dice gambling site.
I have different account in every gambling site just to try my luck.
Having different accounts in every gambling site does not give you any advantage. It will only make the tough from your side. I dont know the reason why you made different accounts - if you try to do some self-referrals and faucet farming then be warned that you will get caught and possibly banned.

Quote
I set it into 60% chances of winning per betting the dice and the target multiplier is 2.
but now focus to gamble at bustadice, and what's your's?

Sharing your strategy is highly appreciated!

No strategy is 100% effective in any game that is EV- and its all dependent on your luck. If you are having a red or a green streak you should stop before you get busted. Even if you make a profit get out as early as possible.
8240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: February 20, 2018, 12:10:25 PM
You have to follow up price of btc so you should hold or sell btc so you can earn a big money

In order to make money from it you need to sell them at some point. After all if you are into trading then you would like to recycle the money during pumps and dumps in order to take full advantage of them and grow your money gradually that way. Sell at pump and then buy at dump.

You can now keep that simple money in your wallet and raise more money until you see the amount that will help you in your career and when you see that the amount you've collected is good for investment, you can invest more bitcoins and in the month- month you will get more than what you want.

Simple collecting bitcoin is not a method to make money. The diversification of modes of money into fiat equity stocks and crypto in not in equilibrium and crypto is a very small fraction of all of these. Its important to sell and buy more at dumps than simply collecting bitcoin.
