I have a question about a transaction processed by 1NASTYfxUpKPwin7b1KTBFjeeofrLSgXDJ on 5/6/2021

At a glance it appears to be a consolidation of inputs to 1NASTYfxUpKPwin7b1KTBFjeeofrLSgXDJ whereas 97 inputs were combined and .474516 btc was sent right back to 1NASTYfxUpKPwin7b1KTBFjeeofrLSgXDJ  - my question is what is the amount of .125 that was sent to 1KCTgBpH8V3Jtac4VjMxqz8R34Ln8hYSGq for?

The address 1KCTgBpH8V3Jtac4VjMxqz8R34Ln8hYSGq receives quite a lot of transactions from a variety of addresses that start with "1Nasty" among other addresses as well.

If this is explained somewhere, about how the funds are used, please point to the thread and/or post. From the site it states that funds sent to 1NASTYfxUpKPwin7b1KTBFjeeofrLSgXDJ are to be used to improve the mining operation - so if that is the case what was the .125 sent to 1KCTgBpH8V3Jtac4VjMxqz8R34Ln8hYSGq used to improve the mining operation? New miner(s)?

You need only look back on this thread at that date to find your answer. It was a purchase of seats on the public auction. I didn’t plan to always announce these but maybe I should continue to do so for transparency reasons, as it seems to have been helpful in this case. I took advantage of the need to make a transaction in order to simultaneously consolidate all of the inputs for future savings on transaction costs.

NastyMining has just purchased another 250 NastyFans seats for 0.125 BTC on the public auction.

Also worth noting, 220 of these seats have been resold on the auction for a total of 0.154 BTC.

.9999 Fine Silver!  The extra 9 shows these coins are minted with the highest purity metal possible.

too bad you covered it up with coloring, it may as well be .0009 silver Smiley

Enamel can be removed from silver fairly easily if all you care about is the silver value.  I would say the artistry of the coin and the effort that went into it's creation, address generation, and engraving are more valuable than the metal used, but to each their own.  Soaking the coins in acetone will remove the enamel and leave only the silver if that is a real concern, but I can't imagine it would add value like you say.  More likely it would destroy the collector's value of the item and make it just an ounce of silver, which if you are buying this coin for the ounce of silver there are surely cheaper alternatives that don't require a do it yourself chemical process.
8243  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NastyMining $14K+ / 140oz .999 Silver Coin Giveaway! on: May 26, 2021, 07:58:32 PM
As an owner of some seats I would be super excited to win another one of these beautiful coins.  Especially a 2 or 5 oz. would be super cool. Cool Cool Cool

Me too.  I won't be mad at all to add some more Minted Seats to the collection.  I think people might be surprised how difficult it will be to talk the owners of these coins into selling them once they are no longer available from the shop...  A great deal of members who are used to seeing these being offered at regular price for years might be caught off guard if they were expecting to own some one day.  Alas, there is no time like the present.

Your chance to enter the giveaway and win a free coin by purchasing a seat from the auction at nastyfans.org is rapidly running out.  Grab one soon if you want in!  Good luck!

I think the Knicks bet is a no-brainer for tomorrow.

They will need to win game 2 or else they will surely be eliminated in the playoffs early.
Also, I think Randle will have a good game in game 2 as they have already read the defense fo the Hawks against him.

So yes, it's a no-brainer, my pick is Knicks -2.

I'm tempted to follow you on this pick.  Trae Young is a bit of a wildcard though and I'm not sure any bet on the Knicks is ever safe.  I do like the Knicks of the Hawks though.

What about the Philly game?  We betting on Embiid to get the best of Westbrook again today?  I think this is probably the safest bet of the day.  Westbrook could go off at any moment and propel his team to a victory, but the Sixers seem like a lock to win the series.

Personally, I'm more into watching the Mavs/Clips, Suns/Lakers, Nets/whoever series' than anything going on today.

If your first post on this forum is on this thread, I'm going to assume you're a spammer who wasted their time signing up for another account just to try and earn a couple of merit.  I will laugh at you, in my head think that you're an idiot, and then hit the ignore button so I won't waste any more time on your nonsense.
8246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 26, 2021, 10:08:11 AM
Looks like the Dallas Mavericks will end up their road game in 2-0 as they defeated the Clippers again 127-121. Games 3-4 will be at Dallas and they have a chance to sweep out the Clippers. 4 of the starters of Dallas are in double digits and it looks like they can't stop the Luka Magic Cheesy.

Looks like this is a big upset of the century if ever that happened and the chance is so high since Porzingis and Luka are playing together in the court. This is a huge disrespect to Paul George because he was bragging before the Playoffs about his condition and it was not enough to win their first 2 games. they should at least win the next game because there are lots of fans who wanted to see them in the NBA finals as well but things are not going smoothly as they planned it right now.
Forget about Paul George, they choke last year so we shouldn't be surprised if the Dallas Mavericks will pull an upset here. They already dig a hole in 0-2 against Luka, it will be very difficult as they steal those games in their homecourt. I expect as sweep as well, and if that happens, there will be some big chances in Clippers, their superstars might request for a trade.

I think both teams played pretty well. Luka just took things to a whole other level. As a team they shot over 50% from the three point line which will win you games most of the time. Both Paul and Leonard shot well and put up good numbers. The rest of their team wasn’t bad either. Luka is clearly the best player in this series though.

I threw $51 down on the Lakers to beat the Suns here in a little bit.  Planning to watch the game and I need some incentive to root against my hometown boys.  I'm expecting to see DeAndre Ayton get slammed around between Andre Drummond and Anthony Davis all game long.  If Ayton leads the game in rebounds again the way he dominated the boards last game, I think it will signal a real problem for Los Angeles, and especially for Andre Drummond's future in Los Angeles.  It's time for him to come and do what he was signed to do.  Dominate the glass.  Enjoy the game everyone!

That was a nice call in the end... Anthony Davis and James stepped up big time tonight, both players combined scored more than half of the Lakers points tonight and were up on the assists too. Phoenix are never going to be able to win this series without Chris Paul near is usual performance.

Thanks. I’m glad the Suns made a game of it in the 4th. I’m surprised how well Ayton is doing against some of the best bigs in the NBA. He’s going to be a problem for the league next year. It does seem like Chris Paul is just too old and injury prone to take a team to the next level. A shame because he has an oversized effect on whether or not his team wins. I hope the Suns can figure out how to win without him next year or shortly thereafter.

I'm stupid enough, I guess.

You will receive no argument from me.

People can say Teslas are powered by dirty energy.  I get that.  People can say Elon is a troll.  I get that.  People can say they don't like that Tesla has a monopoly on electric cars and want to buy elsewhere, or maybe they even have brand loyalty and want to purchase an electric Ford.  Who knows?  All I do know, is that you currently can not find a better electric car for retail purchase by a major manufacturer that is better than a Tesla.  I can use the word "better" broadly here because Tesla is so far ahead in every way that there is no need to go into any more detail.

I cant wait to win another milk spotted coin Smiley

Something tells me you won't have to worry about it since you have to own online seats to win a coin...  Coins I create have consistently graded the highest of any coins on this forum and typically grade MS69 or above.  The rounds given away in this generous event have also been well received by buyers for years.  Specifically the 2oz and 5oz rounds have received nothing but great feedback as they were stamped using the highest quality blanks available in the industry.  If you're seeing milk spots on them, I'd say to keep them away from cows or whatever it is you're splashing on them.

A few years back...OG made a custom made silver coin for me. I peeled the coin a few weeks ago and gotta say, this was the first time I had private keys engraved in the coin itself. Pretty cool feature not having to worry about any flood or fire destroying the keys!  Wink

You peeled it!?!  Shocked

Maybe you should run it over with your car a couple of times and toss it into a campfire overnight to test the durability.  Cheesy

I like to say that engraving is better than other methods of storage, but I haven't honestly ever tested it.  It's all just theoretical at this point.

I am sure it would past the test...but I do not want to tarnish the coin as it is still a collectable to me  Wink

Totally understandable. I was 1/2 kidding. Although I am surprised we haven’t seen any attempts to destroy my coin creations in the past, or maybe there have been attempts but the engravings held up so well that publicizing the act would have the effect of enticing buyers to make purchases. That’s what I’ll go with until proven otherwise anyway.

why didn't you reply to my offer which you publicly posted youd "prob gonna take it" via dm or here?

not cool dude- shady as F***

My guess is that it had something to do with this.

I rescind my $50 offer, good luck

You could have posted like krogoth in this thread that you were trying to make a deal and likely would have had better luck as the OP stated he had issues with PM limits. Sending 1 PM and then getting angry the seller moved on after a few weeks seems like a bit of an overreaction, especially after you rescinded your offer.
8254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 25, 2021, 07:32:26 PM
I don’t think there’s any chance that DeAndre Ayton performs like he did in game 1 to help the Suns beat the Lakers. I’d like to see it, but I just don’t believe it will happen. I’d feel alright about betting on the Lakers with a 1.5 point spread and the big men looking to punish Ayton. LeBron might not be fully healthy, but it shouldn’t matter. AD and Drummond are totally responsible for that horrible game 1 loss. They’ll redeem themselves today.

I’d go see it live if I were younger and feeling crazy. The fight will be the least of it. The entire city will be partying all weekend and I’m sure the clubs will be absolutely insane. This might not draw the A-list celebrity crowd, but I’m sure there will be plenty of C-listers everywhere you turn that weekend. I wouldn’t hate to be there at all… If you’re young and rich and looking to go a little crazy, I can’t think of a better place to be during this event.

The Bucks just had their way with the Miami Heat. It’s hard to imagine the Heat pulling a win out in this series after that performance. They do have one thing going for them though. Charles Barkley pulled out the guarantee that the Bucks would sweep the Heat. As far as I know Charles Barkley has been wrong every time he pulls out the guarantee, so anti-Chuck bettors have something to think about for game 3.

Stack seats!  Cheesy

The closer we get to this giveaway the more excited I get. I’m curious how many different countries I’ll be shipping these to or how much BTC will be raised for NastyFans seats once all is said and done. I can’t say I’m looking forward to spending hours hunched over an engraver, but I’m happy to do it for those in this community that are appreciative. Good luck to everyone!
8258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are backed by Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2021, 09:08:20 PM
This is the most simple question ever asked.  Altcoins were created to grow the Bitcoin stash of their creators.  Using the Bitcoin received to back the altcoin would be them giving up money that could be in their pocket to add value to an altcoin they created to cash in on.  Backing it with the Bitcoin would be a little bit like opening a bank account for your golden goose and letting her own all the golden eggs she lays instead of taking those golden eggs and selling them to enrich yourself.  We all know that nobody is  opening any bank accounts for any geese around here...
8259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Been left with my late uncle's crypto accounts - need some advice on: May 24, 2021, 09:04:31 PM
Can someone kindly advise? I am at a standstill and would really appreciate some guidance with it?

Learn how to claim everything yourself.  You don't need to provide anyone with any actual information about your coins.  They don't need to see addresses or private keys in order to help you.  Go slowly.  Don't make mistakes.  If you do need help, do not use the real information.  95% of the people that will reach out trying to help you are probably going to try and steal from you.  Know this and be safe.  Once you've claimed everything you possibly can and feel like you're done, then you can feel free to have a little trust and provide some information to see if there's anything you missed, but even then keep your private keys private.

Stake just signed a new deal with more UFC fighters who will be brand ambassadors Alexa Grasso from Mexico and Marlon Vera from Ecuador.
There is now total of 3 fighters who are Stake brand ambassadors including champion Israel Adesanya who was the first.

https://stake.com/ufc

Are there any terms made public in these deals?  I'm curious how Stake is managing to get so many fighters on board with the brand.  I don't see a lot of other gambling houses do this.  Does Stake have some sort of "in" with these fighters?  Might we see NFL and NBA players jump on board at some point?  Is Stake open to other partnerships outside of sports?  I'd love to see some more big names representing Stake and I'm sure that this won't be the end.  Congrats to everyone involved over at Stake.com on securing these partnerships!  Keep up the great work!
