I would leave it as is. Surely this version throws off younger people when they see the forum for the first time, but it is functional, and we also don't know if we would like the new forum once it is implemented. I've seen quite a few times people complain on other forums after a change. I've seen people complain after literally every forum change. OP's link for instance shows more whitespace, which is something many websites do nowadays. I don't buy a bigger screen to see more whitespace, I want to see more information. Other than the version number: would there be anything in it that we could really use?

I only know that the password was created by a human, not a robot, and that this password was set in March 2015 and has not changed since then. Therefore, this password could be stolen by hackers and entered the collection of these dictionaries. If the password is only used for this wallet, the wallet would have been emptied if the password had been leaked. If the same password was used for several different websites it could have been leaked without compromising the wallet, but if it was used on many websites I don't think it's likely it the owner would have forgotten it. It looks like 7z can't be extracted from stdin: First, 7-Zip supports only some archive types for piping. For -si, it accepts xz, lzma, tar, gzip and bzip2. For -so, it accepts xz, gzip, bzip2 and tar. That means I have to download those files first, before extracting them (and messing with this since yesterday delayed my response). From Costas at StackExchange.com: I got anything from 8 to 20 characters, starting with "Ca". See le6-1-93ghostman.pulsedmedia.com/public-loyceclu/all_in_one_3.txt (this server expires in 3 days, I'm going to miss the 16 cores and 128 GB RAM). There's another problem with the list: there are some empty lines in it, which must be caused by some very weird characters. Can you try to rename it to .txt? It's basically a text file with multiple sections, public key, signature format (?), signature and an actual json only at the end. This shows another inconsistency though: the PUBLIC KEY part uses normal looking line breaks, the SIGNATURE uses Windows line breaks (EOL). This is highlighted in vi by adding ^M at the end of the lines. Maybe it helps; I've opened with notepad++ under Windows and looked pretty good/understandable (not that I've checked anything else than recovering the session, which can be done with the link too). Any idea how to verify the LoG? Depositing without verifying is what makes many people send their funds to a phishing site, and that's all the more reason why verifying the LoG should be as easy as possible. since the LoG contains the public key too (which my guess would be that it would be used to verify the signature), it probably can be spoofed fully by a phishing site. I addressed that already: I can't find your public key anywhere on the website. Without that, this public key can be specifically created for only my transaction, which would still mean I can't use it to prove anything. I'm starting to wonder if it's really not possible to verify the LoG (which also makes me wonder why I'm the only one not completing the review without checking this!): After about an hour I got this response: Hi there! I am a big BTC believer, however for some different ways then the average Hodler around here. Bitcoin changed my way of life in a way, you couldn't even imagine ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) After reading this, I assume you're rich in and because of Bitcoin. If that's not the case, you may want to consider to diversify your assets. If you did have "say" 500-2500 LTC would you still Hodling it, or do you think is is\was time to sell them and exchange for BTC? (maybe a while ago?) And why? If you are indeed rich as I assumed above, keeping $100,000 in LTC shouldn't be a problem. But I'm thinking it shouldn't be more than 1% of your assets. Will LTC stand up to everything else -created- right now? Could LTC be used in Metaverse projects? To me, Metaverse is just as BS as ICOs and DeFi. Litecoin's USP is that it was the first (or one of the first, I wasn't around back then) altcoin. But like most coins, it's losing market share. And that's mainly caused by the massive amounts of new shitcoins still being created, and people still dumping their money in it hoping for a quick buck. Something else to consider: If you're uncertain about LTC, sell a part of it.

Why don't you sign the Letter of Guarantee from a Bitcoin address? That makes it much easier to verify the message, and the address used for signing can be posted on your website and here for verification. Check your Trust settings in Hierarchical view: someone you've included must have included them.
