Should have held on Veronica Cheesy We are heading all the way up now

Yep looks like we are now emerging from the bottom so I guess we can say this was the bellwater of the lows
Also meaning that if she waited one more month she would have been fine
Two more and she would have made more
Three and who knows Smiley
8282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much will 1 BTC cost by May 31 2014? on: May 25, 2014, 07:34:00 AM
Considering the volatility and the positive sentiment I will go out a bit and say we approach 600-650 that day
Perhaps even browsing around 700 CAD or 650 USD

8284  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - UPDATED - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: May 25, 2014, 07:21:53 AM
Important News:

As from May 31st 2014 we will cease with this signature campaign.
The reasons are as follows:
1) It simply isn't viable to continue with these high prices. The ROI is just not there.
2) It doesn't help, when the price of the btc is on the rise.

The Ritz Grand Casino does very well without the need of a signature program. In fact, the return visitors we get are incredible.  So we are here to stay.

Everyone will still be paid up until May 31st. You must remain with the program until payout day, (1st june) to be paid. We will still check on the posts

We would like to thank every one who has participated in our signature campaign.

Good luck to you all and thanks for your support.

Ritz Grand Casino

I was away for a few days but thanks for always paying out promptly and I'll keep watch for the future

All the best
8285  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Indian General Elections 2014 on: May 22, 2014, 08:33:55 AM
Raghuram Rajan, the current Governor of Reserve Bank of India is a pro-Congress crook, who is extremely anti-Bitcoin. If Modi succeeds in removing him from the office, it will be a major victory for the Indian Bitcoiners.

That sounds interesting would like to see a pro Bitcoin Governor of the Reserve but I am curious as to who they would vote for if they were interested in changing their monetary policies and who controls that power. Is it appointed by the congress or the president not very aware of Indian politics myself.

Animeseason.com was down last night, I almost cried. Tongue

I use that site a lot myself although I have been a bit annoyed that vidnest videos kept sending me annoying viruses
The other players work fine though so backup is anilinkz (if i can resist the trollbox)
Anyways I like No Game No Lifes Last Ep Smiley
8287  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 22, 2014, 08:25:52 AM
a dividend of about 0.17-0.18 is my estimate over the next three months, assuming we only sell 1/2 of all the chips produced, and we meet expectation for self mining and franchise mining.

You know that 0.17-0.18 over 3 months (12weeks) gives us ~3.5 BTC share price ... let's see

That would be impressive but were only accounting the dividends from the chips not including the future R@D for Gen 4
Which hopefully will be faster since they are specializing on chip production now
8288  Economy / Economics / Re: Jim Rickards' New Book "The Death of Money", Review on: May 22, 2014, 08:21:37 AM
I have heard about this book the death of money and appreciate the time you took to write a review about it
Saved me some reading myself which I can put towards other books
(Kind of want a book thread)
An interesting Book I read recently is The Prize by Daniel Yergin which goes into oil politics and economics so would recommend that to others looking for a good read

Thanks, I have never heard of that one. Just checked it out on Amazon.

I would recommend it highly although I messed up a bit their and meant the Quest which is the update on the Prize
I mixed the two up since I was watching the youtube video series on The Prize and read the Book on the Quest
Part 5 of an 8 part series

8290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cost of Money Transfer to Russia, China, Uganda etc on: May 21, 2014, 09:11:24 AM
I would say the next cheapest method to send money to non-western countries would be an e-mail money transfer
Depending on the country as it would depend on what banks you use and what country you want to send too.

https://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/forums/middle-east/Iran/online-banking-in-iran-or-safe-bank-that-manages-iranian-currency?page=1
http://www.niacouncil.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=10897
But to my knowledge countries like Iran which are pretty much disbarred from the global banking economy due to international sanctions are not allowed to use SWIFT so sending any money to them is incredibly difficult.
In reality Bitcoin is pretty much the only real way to send it practically at a decent speed or we end up with Western Union and the 10% quote that you are mentioning in your OP when comparing speed of delivery.

Everyone uses bitcoin to buy drugs!
When shopping, just ensure that the Bitcoins go through a faucet and in 5 easy minutes the weed will be mailed directly to your door without the feds being any the wiser.

It shows how important it is to have backups
I would say that if you can access the harddrive try using linux on it
Think this will work although I can't be absolutely certain best of luck solving this

8293  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin=Money(?) on: May 21, 2014, 08:52:58 AM
Technically, as long as people accept it in exchange for something, it's money. If people accepted rocks in exchange for goods, I would consider rocks money then

Rocks have been used as a form of currency back in history so that statement is true, the value of money is only that people are willing to exchange it as a means of trading aka it is a store of value. Differing from barter in that instead of trading goods and services apples and pears or trading physical commodities you are trading something that only has a representative value aka my dollar is the same as yours also known as fungibility which Bitcoin has so yes it is money and a form of exchange.
8294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox protest address location? on: May 21, 2014, 08:49:02 AM
Hi everyone, does anyone know where the address for MtGox's non-virtual office is in Tokyo?

The place that the protesters stood outside of just before they went dark?

Cheers if anyone can help

Also, would somebody be so kind as to refresh my memory as to the names of said protesters. I have a hunch.

Replying to this post their names are Bitcoin trader Kolin Burges, right, of London and American Aaron (only his first name was given) hold protest signs as they conduct a sit-in in front of the office tower housing Mt. Gox in Tokyo Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014.
From associated Press added my source hope it helps you out.

0.95 Bitcoin that is awful be careful and glad to hear your back from the brink.
Know I keep a small amount in just dice in the investors section for those types of events mentioning it since it might be a safer storage method not quite sure how Iran is for that although cold storage is best a little bit of interest is still a lot for some (although do not put it all in one basket).
But it does suck to lose a large amount of coins hope you will get it back someday and props to lightlord for helping someone know props aren't needed but it seems to be rare these days.
The services thread may help you earn a few coins so hopefully you can earn it back transcribing is just writing down what you hear and putting it in a text file. Signature campaigns at a modest slow pace would probably help subsidize your living in the long run if rent is 85 dollars where a little bit of additional income could make a significant difference.

Thank you all for gettting back to me now Ill have to stop talking about, got me an advisor and he said not good that I mentioned it.  So Ill have to ask the Mod to delete this for me and ill join community and make some sensless chat.

Well I hope that things go well for you regardless and it does make sense not to ask random people for financial advice in retrospect
I hope that you are able to do well and save your fortune till you retire Mate.
8297  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which anime do you like to watch? on: May 21, 2014, 07:50:52 AM
I watch or try to watch everything in the season but it gets pretty hard so the three episodes rule can come in useful
Although sometimes if I have time I tend to watch more than that to get a feel for it
Example Tiger and Bunny was a really good series but three episodes in was pretty boring took 6 to 7 episodes to really start picking up
8298  Other / Off-topic / Weird News Stories on: May 21, 2014, 07:45:01 AM
Seems like it could become quite the interesting thread
Post the story of the day or something you have heard of that just seemed strange or bizarre

I'll start with a Picnic Table an ATM machine and a man getting it on ^_^

A 49-year-old man was arrested in Tennessee after attempting an unorthodox transaction with a cash machine.

According to WKRN, Lonnie Hutton walked into a local bar in Murfreesboro, removed his trousers, and then proceeded to have sex with the bar’s ATM.

8299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Date Ideas on: May 21, 2014, 07:42:04 AM
Hi again, i need advise in how do i ask her to go out on a date? Should i just tell her or should i do something else? Tnx!

There are multiple ways to approach this I would say arrange it when you meet up with friends if not then the classic method is face to face have a good conversation going and then just slip it in at the right time, if not a text.
But I will go with ranlo and just take a good chance and try to find the right time.
8300  Economy / Speculation / Re: URGENT, Bitcoin is on the verge of collapse !!! on: May 21, 2014, 07:37:41 AM
If anything Bitcoin just had a bit of a rally so if the system is really on the verge of Collapse
Then all that positive news that we are seeing is not a sign of its demise
But a sign of its next rise.
