I could be mistaken that the 52k number is the only number from 1K-62k to have only 1 representative.
Let me check that.
There are a few poorly supported numbers from 20k to 30k
but from 31k and up to 63k all numbers other than 52k have multiple support.

Damn, took 189 days just to climb from 64,000 to $65,000 but in less than 1 day bitcoin climbed from $66,000 to $67,000
Or 190 days to go from 64k to 68k which seems very side ways if you were simply holding. Of course you could have bought the dip at 30k and you would be very happy about this 68k number. |

.... I think there is a strong possibility this is the phase the market is in right now, we've seen it before in previous bull runs right before some epic rises on thin volume
... I tend to think of it as the calm before the storm of the manic mark-up phase, you see it in other commodity markets also, grains, softs especially and local weekly cattle auction rings all share the same characteristics, also great studies in human psychology of markets
... basically the market is running out of sellers at these prices as the sellers now are expecting/demanding higher prices for their goods .... the buyers are there at the ring with cash in their pockets waiting for cheapest prices but they can see pretty much how many cows are left in the pens, the grass is going crazy in the paddocks back home but the sellers are in solidarity sitting on their hands saying NUP .... there's a quiet, tension in the atmospehere as the Mexican standoff goes through it's dance
... then the first buyer loses his nerve and puts in a big bid well above market, bang, that is the starting gun for the mark-up phase
... all the bids start coming in higher and higher but only a few get filled, fomo kicks, still no volume, the sellers are going to wait for the new price level to establish when it's in new territory
The 64k question (lol look what I did there?) is how far will the fomo send it? There are two things that are "different this time". 1. I think there will be more fomo than we have ever seen by a LOT. 2. The distance between 65 and 650 is quite different, and yet exactly the same as between 65,000 and 650,000. That's where the really chewy part comes in I think... I have no idea. Well that is a way of looking at it. Personally I say teasing really does make people anticipate explosive finishes. How about we slowly go to 70k Dec 31 and float around the 70-90 range for most of Jan-June. Then explode past 300k by aug 1 This works for me. You just want to mine more before it goes up don'cha? duh I just spent 100k expanding the mine what do you think 🤔.. We want more good months of mining. the hardest part of mining is dca the gear and don’t over buy. if we pump and stagger now (nov-dec) i fucked up. if we rise slowly upwards for months on end I whale. time will tell. |

A good place to start for reviews and settings on the 921 is around herewow so my old memory does suck. got it in dec 2019 not spring 2019 it was a a921 not a a941 but it did suck and burn up the psu melting all the sockets. could not clock it freely did not like it and it did not last 2 years. can’t recommend it over the T2 which still works and is easy to clock. |

Yeah I thought I read that somewhere before Reminder though that 6% + 6% doesn't equal 12%
It's actually 12.36% ... i.e. that would be exponential, not linear.
So e.g. after 5 diff changes of 6% that's 33.8%, not 30%
...
Anyway, it's been hanging about 5.x% for a while now on this diff change. The price hit close to ATH again in the last few hours also. Another 5.5 days to go, I wonder how much higher the diff will get. Maybe 7% since we are at 66k as I type. |

So if we are going to see +5% on nov 14 and on nov 27 and on dec 11 and on dec 25
I doubt we can maintain a 5% increase on every epoch, it takes more hashrate to add 5% on the next epoch than it takes to add the same % in this epoch and so on, however, I won't be surprised until all the gears that were once here show up, so all the way to difficulty of 25T anything can happen, from there onward we will hardly get 2-3% assuming we remain in a bull run. Well 65K + means you get about 38.3 cents a th at viabtc so 14 x 38.3 = 5.36 usd a day form a good s9 power is 32 kwatts so $3.20 with 10 cent power or 2.16 profit so $4.80 with 15 cent power or 56 cent profit. I would argue that is too good and that the diff is way behind in the race so to speak. I would say diff could be 32.4t and miners would still be okay a diff of 43.2t would cause miner's pain. All the marginal power guys would be crushed. |
