8301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling that stressed me out (i wanna quit) on: February 22, 2019, 11:24:31 AM
First of all, before you stop yourself from gambling you must have a mindset of stopping really from gambling. Its easy to say that you will stop but your brain is telling you to gamble. You must change your mindset first and then you might consult to a psychologist maybe. You must think of another ways to spend your time so that you can forget gambling. Spend time with your family or relatives. Play games if you want. Travel if you have spare money. Anything that you can do so that you can forget gambling. It will help you.
8302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 21, 2019, 02:03:23 PM
It's not just eating money and brain, it's eating your time if you are an addicted gambler. People think of getting quick rich and that's why do gamble and after all, lose all the money. It's better to stay away from being addicted.
I think its better to say that you must stay away from gambling if you don't want it to consume your brain, time, and money. The main reason why people gamble is because they want to get profit as quick as they can but its the reverse of it that is happening. They lose most if not all of their money and in the end, they will feel regret because of their actions.
8303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: February 21, 2019, 12:24:13 PM
This is the problem why most of the ICO's right now are failing because they don't reach the soft cap of their project. There are many scam ICO's already that made the investors think twice before investing on it.

I think the best thing to do now is invest on the most trusted altcoins like Ethereum and Litecoin. There are other altcoins out there that you can invest with.
8304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: February 21, 2019, 12:04:36 PM
I think I agree with this. I don't see any gamblers who came out winning except for those who are already contented with their winnings. Most of the gamblers are getting more greedy as they win and even if they lose. This is why the house always win. They always win because of how the gambler is thinking when they gamble.
8305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 21, 2019, 11:56:41 AM
This will make a domino effect with other phone brands. Other phone brands will do what Samsung did too in the next years. I'm happy that they supported cryptocurrency for a long time already and this additional feature is another step for mass adoption since many are using Samsung in the world.
8306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: February 20, 2019, 01:11:17 PM
Well, I'm not surprised that celebrities will endorsed crypto since they are being paid when they endorsed one and who doesn't want money right Cheesy. Even though they promote a coin, we need to do some in deep research before we throw our money or else we will be scammed by this stupid scammers.
8307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: February 20, 2019, 01:05:33 PM
Winning in gambling isn't that hard. Most important part is not being greedy. Don't take to many risky bets and withdraw your initial deposit once you are ahead.
So we just play it safe with low odds, this method can indeed be done for those who don't want to take deeper risks and this way is good for those who gamble just for fun. Unlike a person who gambles by looking for big and fast profits.

Gambling for big and fast profits will likely get you rekt. People who take high risks shouldn't complain when losing imo.
I have done this before. When I won, I withdraw my initial deposit but after losing my remaining balance in the gambling site, I deposited again and got lost. Sad I got greedy at that time and got rekt.

This is more of a play safe strategy. Don't risk your money but people are gambling because they want fast profits so they will risk everything they have without knowing the consequences they might face if they lose.
8308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Gambling on: February 20, 2019, 12:41:35 PM
1) Gambling brings you loneliness, or makes you feel alone or want to be alone, it can isolate you from society or from other important events in your life.
There are times that gambling gives you happiness especially if you are just gambling for fun only. Yeah its hard since most gamblers want to win  money when they gamble but there are some gamblers out there who are happy even though they lost their money.

3) Not to mention it can can destroy you financially, you can lose a lot of money in a matter of seconds/minutes/hours/days. Some stories show how people lost over millions of dollars in a matter of hours or days.
I agree with this. There are some gamblers out there who lost many money already in gambling and this is because they become greedy if they win or even they lose. Lucky for me, I lost a small amount in gambling FOR NOW.

4) Gambling can also destroy you individually, not only financially, you can lose your family, your job, your friends or relatives.
Gambling destroy you mentally if you lose your money. Gambling can affect your ties with your family or even your companions since it destroys your mind bit by bit.

All in all gambling is a losing proposition, these drawbacks weigh much more than any possible benefits you can ever come up with when it comes to gambling.
I think gambling is giving negative impacts on a gambler. I don't see any positive things that gambling can give (although there are some who will disagree with this).
8309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is Adopted what happen to ilerate population(stone age people) on: February 20, 2019, 12:29:18 PM
I think they will left behind for a bit but they will cope up with it. For me, I don't think that we need Bitcoin to replace fiat currency. I think its better if we use Bitcoin as an ALTERNATIVE payment system aside from using fiat money.

Teaching Bitcoin to illiterate people will be hard because this is more complex compare to fiat. It needs more components than fiat.
8310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: February 19, 2019, 01:57:33 PM
TBH, I didn't read your post because its a wall of post and I don't want to read that kind of posts because it makes me feel bored to if I read it.

Anyway, altcoins are not useless but most of them are considered useless. Some reasons are lack of community, lack of funds, the team isn't working anymore etc. and that leads to a scam. Some of the altcoins are out there doing what they promised to the investors.
8311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has changed? Is it moving forward? on: February 19, 2019, 01:38:27 PM
I think Bitcoin is more of an investment right now instead of using it as a currency. Yeah there are some establishments who are accepting Bitcoin and other cryptos at this moment and I'm hoping that this will increase in the succeeding years.

I think the problem right now is the transaction as always and lack of regulation of it.
8312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 19, 2019, 10:07:49 AM
I know that some of the banks are against Bitcoin but this bank made moves that they will support crypto. Now they are launching crypto ATM. This move will make crypto-investors to open a bank with them. I'm thinking that if this will be a successful one, other banks will copy what they are doing.

Now I'm thinking of creating of creating account with Union Bank  Grin Grin
8313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: February 19, 2019, 09:48:21 AM
I think my worst moment in gambling is when I was in secondary. I have around 20$ of money and that is my money for the week (I'm from a 3rd world country so 20$ is a large amount for me already). I saw a gambling place near our house and tried to gamble but only 5$. Unfortunately, I lost all of them and got more greedy.

I gambled my remaining money and lost all of them. I feel disappointed and regret because of my action at that time. I promised to myself that I will not do it again anymore. I will not be a greedy when it comes to gambling.
8314  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 19, 2019, 09:36:36 AM
For the past months I’m too depressed about my losses since I came in this market unprepared. I try not to be active but the market looks inviting me again to be more responsible for what I’ve done and to do better this time.
Don't be too depressed about it because there are also investors who are experiencing what you are experiencing right now. I got some losses to in crypto but since I got some rewards from some campaigns here, it covered my losses.

Bitcoin started to pump slowly, though its not enough to get back my losses but I think there’s a reason why I should stay. I know I’m not the only one here who lose money but still trying to do their best to have some profit. Thank you to this forum, i was able to rise again and this time I will believe more on the future of bitcoin! Continue to hold!
I don't see any reason why Bitcoin pumped right now. Maybe a little pump and dump?? Anyway, this is a good opportunity to get profit for those short term traders out there. I'm just holding Bitcoin at this moment although I got some funds for trading.
8315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 18, 2019, 01:40:34 PM
Lucky for me, I didn't get addicted in gambling because of lack of funds but gambling consumes your brain and money bit by bit. Every time you go gamble, your chances of getting addicted into it will become higher.

If you got addicted into it, I think the best thing in order to stop yourself is to consult someone who can rehabilitate yourself. You must have a mindset too that you need to stop gambling so that you will totally stop it. Your friends and relatives can help you too.
8316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vacation and Bitcoin on: February 17, 2019, 02:42:03 AM
Well, this helps a bit for crypto. This will make the people curious about it. Its nice to see companies and establishments accepting different kinds of crypto as another way of payment.  I wish I can use my Bitcoin too in the future when I travel around the world. Cheesy
8317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 17, 2019, 02:36:58 AM
Losing streak is most likely to happen if you only think of revenge. Base on your post, I know that you continued to gamble because you are thinking to get again the money you lost.

It will definitely consume your money and brain. You will be more greedy if you will win and lose. If you lose, you will more greedy and will put more money to get your lost money. I wish gamblers must know how to control themselves to prevent losing many money.
8318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Can Now Buy Movie Tickets Using Bitcoin In Brazil on: February 11, 2019, 10:35:29 AM
Well, another step for mass adoption? Or its just another way to spread the word about Bitcoin. Lets face the fact that only a few people around the world knows Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general. With this move, people will become curious about Bitcoin and will do some research on it. There are risk on it because Bitcoin's price is volatile so I think its better that if they pay half Bitcoin and half fiat.
8319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: February 10, 2019, 03:40:16 PM
Even though we say that we must stop those bounty hunters to share their personal information, they need to do it because they want to get their rewards. Its a bad choice for the ICO's to recommend KYC for bounty hunters. Most of the ICO's now are becoming a scam and one more, you are risking your personal information. They can sell your information in the black market at a cheap price. Yes this prevents the ICO from being cheated but your personal information is more important compare to the tokens you will get when you pass KYC.
8320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: February 10, 2019, 03:37:06 PM
For those that are addicted to gamble their will still continue after losing and some even borrow money to invest in gambling with the hope of making it big.  For me if I lose such big amounts of money I will abandoned it completely.
Addicted gamblers will do anything they can just to have money to gamble. They don't want to lose their money so they will have a "revenge" mindset and will borrow money from their relatives or friends. I think its better if we know how to control ourselves if we try to gamble. Think also if it is necessary to gamble your money.
