I don't think there's going to be an effect if this kind of news comes out,we are ok without him for a long time,everything has been taken care of and he has no influence now in the current bitcoin market,but of course we must honor the great genius for creating Bitcoin technology but apart from that there's nothing to worry about.

Offcourse there are some scams.. But post your proof first!
yes I agree with you people are quickly to post the word scam because of their limitless knowledge and perception,they should first prove that the admin really meant to scam before we post scam,legit project spend funds and to much effort only to be ruin by this insensible post. |

I'd like to be more objective but the gap is closing in between bitcoin and ethereum but I still believe that there will be a good consensus that will fix whatever problem bitcoin is facing now, the only problem is just picking the right fix that everybody can agree upon.

every 5 or 10BTC ... use a new wallet.
i do this.
when you pay ... seller don't know if you have more than 5 or 10 BTC.
Although this is an old answer, it's still applicable and with new bitcoin wallets with new innovation coming up, I think users will have a wide array of choices where he can store that 100 bitcoin 5 bitcoin for every wallet is still a good option but can the user remember every one of it? |

You have to look both ways in my case if I bought Bitcoin when the dollar was down and after a week the dollar went up against our currency eventhough bitcoin price did not move I am on profit ,you have to watch both the price of bitcoin and the price of your local currency it's quite tricky and you need a tool like Preev and the dollar to your local currency so you can calculate your profit and lost.

Right now it's not happening Bitcoin price is kicking and price keeps increasing and while this things is happening ethereum is having a congestion in their network and I just saw on Yobit a big 9% drop of it's price,so it's still bitcoin for me .

It's not good, it seems some people are switching to Litecoin for retail payments, I like BTC a lot but I don't like the way this coin is treated... it's like it's left alone doing nothing about it and meanwhile lots of altcoins are trying to take over... BTC looks like a fat coin barely moving right now folks while whales are taking as much as they can on its back, it needs to be light and have speed... if something doesn't change after August 1 will probably consider other options as well, I've believed too much in one coin and missed others on the road
In case of a worst scenario you should pick other coins with high potential,Bitcoin is facing some issues and other coins are getting mileage so it's better not to put 100% of your trust in one coin although in my opinion it's still the best coin to invest. |

Here are some positive things to look forward to in the near future:
1. New zoltchain with the genesis block will be brought online.
2. The Level 1 STaTiC nodes will be brought online.
3. 33 new level 1 STaTiC nodes will be offered for sale to the community.
4. XBY will be listed on Bittrex after the tech is up and running.
5. Level 2 STaTiC nodes will be offered up for sale to the community, and brought online.
6. XtraBYtes will start selling decentralized distributed harddrive space once we get the system in place.
With all these, I hope Xtrabyte price will stabilize there's a big dip in price always when we hit high and it happens on several occasions I still have my Xtrabyte,for a young project XBY has achieved a lot. |

Right now I would say it's really much better in terms of profitability I prefer buying Bitcoin because of the potential high profit and I only buy gold as gift but anyway both are good investment but bitcoin now is a much hold asset.

At 1/21th the market cap  Yeah I saw that and it's very noticeable this is the reason why I have to trade some of my coins for litecoin,this is a big week for litecoin I should have bought earlier, anyway there's still room to make a profit once it is listed litecoin will be on the moon. |

How do we log back into the chrome client?
After clicking on Import account and putting the seed in, it goes through the registration process again rather than just a password login. Do we need to re-register?
No don't do that you will have a new dashboard and you will see your coins,just be sure that your seed do not have a space on it,you can delete your cookies and try again be sure your address is correct before you login. |

Why do people invest into dogecoin? I have been asked that question many time, I believe that it is worth a thread. Let's get right into it right now.
First, it is ranked in the top 15 cryptocurrency. Secondly, it is so cheap that if it has a slight growth, you will make A LOT. Basically, right now it is not even worth $0.01. The potential in this coin is so huge.
Dogecoin has various use, but I wont list it.
This is my reasoning behind it anyway.
As always, invest at your OWN risk.
They are worthy to be in your portfolio especially now that the price if very good compare two months ago, they will not go out and they will always be part of the top cryptocurrency,although the full potential has not reach,people in the dogecoin community has a lot of room for improvement. |
