8301  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why rollin.io closed their service ? on: October 15, 2017, 07:51:58 AM
Rollin.io was my first ever casino tryout and I will be really sad if they don't come back, though I haven't player out there in ages, it's one of the most trusted one so ya it feels bad to loose this casino. However I feel it could be due to some upgrades coming, I feel they will come back and stronger, I don't think this site will be dead. Like people have pointed out it used to recieve 100000 - 300000 visitors it's bound to bounce back. I feel it could also be due to change in Bitcoins price, that would have seriously effected them. I hope they make a return.
8302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymously buy bitcoins on: October 14, 2017, 10:44:01 AM
You seriously are new and that's why I feel you don't know much, you can do the gift card thing fine, but cash for btc and meet in person it's a bad idea, if you didn't know no one ever knows who buys and sells and btc, it's all in a number, that's in the form of a address, you can buy from a exchange, or buy from here in the currency section. Or just post a requirement you need to buy, considering you're a newbie you will be asked to either send funds first or use a escrow. Ps if you disclose to the world you own Bitcoins they will find out, otherwise they won't. If you but sell here, do it very carefully. Check the feedbacks and recent trades.

Considering Nadal's current form, Just bet under 22 games for today's

R. Nadal VS M. Čilić  tennis match.

And if you win please share some happiness In the form of small tip with me.  Grin Grin

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

So basically you're asking us to bet on Nadal, that he wins and if he wins you should receive a gift lol, look Nadal is in red hot form and normally it's should be another easy victory for him, but what if there a surprise, Nadal has his injuries issues, and I don't really feel comfortable playing on this match, so I will let it go, maybe someone will take a risk and play on this match, tennis is not my expertise, good luck to you.
8304  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin price vs ETH price bet. on: October 14, 2017, 06:44:35 AM
I want to make a bet that ETH price will rise more (or lose less) value than BTC over the course of 3 weeks/ I'll give you 2.2 value on Bitcoin. We will either use a smart contract or escrow for this bet. I am willing to bet upto $300

What's with this idea of your bet anyway? I don't even understand how did you decide to come up with this kind of idea? I feel it's absolutely stupid for someone to accept this kind of bet. Where one looses, however if you make a better call and invest 300$ in Bitcoins or ether you'll stand to gain, I don't like alts but only since you're keen. Otherwise I would tell you to drop this ridiculous idea, only a fool would enter this kind of bet, and I don't think anyone here will.
8305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto winter is coming again … on: October 14, 2017, 04:28:32 AM
There nothing that really convinces that bitcoin is going down, or we will actually see winter coming, all you have used a got slogan to draw people attention, don't really think that it makes sense that just cause you said invest in 2013 now investing in Bitcoin is bad, I feel you have not really justified your claims, people are yet investing and people will continue to invest, you really need to add something substantial to your post for people to be convinced, currently I am not even one bit convinced, as I feel there is no imminent threat.
8306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 13, 2017, 11:32:36 AM
This week end in saturday we will have a great match between Liverpool and Manchester United. The two teams are looking for a win and three points. Man united wants to lead the group more and more and liverpool wants to get the three points to ask forgiveness from its public. I think the two teams will score.

I am very much excited for the match between Manchester United and Liverpool, like Mata says there no fixture like this fixture, the rivalry, the atmosphere is just the best. The red hot form Manchester United is I feel they can go for victory, but I feel Lukaku is not in his best shape, injury and then started for Belgium, also rashford will be tired, so will be Liverpool players, if Manchester United win and they win big, I feel we will have to say bye to Kloop, I am so glad he didn't come to Manage Manchester United, he will really need to be at his best to try and cause a upset. I feel 3-1, 3 Manchester United and Liverpool scores one.
8307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 13, 2017, 10:46:49 AM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the forum, we'll it's a wise idea to invest in Bitcoin, if only you had taken action and invested already in Bitcoins, you could have made a killing, right now it's high, so my advice would be buy small, buy everyday, in case a major dip comes, buy more, this way you'll make a nice average. That's the best advice I can give you say fix 50 - 100$ and keep on buying, but remember every transactions incurs fees, use electrum wallet that's the best, they say coinbase.com intra transfer does not incur fees not sure now how it works, but people have trust issues with it, so I would recommend electrum, and always pay perfect fees, otherwise your transactions could be stuck, start your investment today. Hold for the long term.
8308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: October 13, 2017, 09:04:52 AM
This is a very risky idea and it's my personal experience, so I was into gambling since a long time, and my friend asked me to place some bets for him using my money, at that time it was harmless bets so I allowed him to, then suddenly he played a huge bet with my funds as the guy who knew me, I had told him to let him play and then he lost, and he refused to pay up, I had to spend days and month after him but he refused to pay up, finally I asked my friends to recover the money and they did, I hate this idea, I have been in looses before, but I never take any one money or even land some one. Don't do it, you'll only add pressure on yourself
8309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now That We're Above $5000, how long until we hit $10,000 BTC on: October 13, 2017, 08:58:43 AM
With Bitcoin basically making Dimon shut his mouth and his own company helping to make him look like even more of a Jack*ss, plus the hardfork that's coming, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw $10,000 bitcoin by the first of November

I agree with your former part, Bitcoin is going places, and poor Jamie didn't see that coming, all was going fine for him for Bitcoin and here he has to come and start a fight for what? This is why they they say not to mess with the king, the way Jp Morgan has handled the situation I actually feel sad, that his Job is on the line, I don't like what he did but if he were to loose his job, it would be sad. Now 10k by November 1st haha no I completely disagree, by no means can it go that high, 6k or 6.5k is a more realistic target and if both forks works to advantage of Bitcoins 7 - 8 K year end. But that's also high valuation according to me.
8310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 13, 2017, 04:32:09 AM
Tomorrow 3rd T20 match b/w India vs Austrailia. Last game Aus played well and won the match. Now the series is equal 1 - 1. so who will win this match they will win the series. Any guesses? My choice is India.

It looks like India is strong to win this match but you can't underestimate Australian team because most of those players are specialists in playing these short format games so if a couple of guys hit good runs then everything may change. I think we shouldn't bet on this match instead just watch this exciting match and enjoy your free time or go with very small amount bet.

I strongly believe that today India may win this match and series as well.

Team India can only win if the pitch is not like last time, no offense to the team they are world class player's, but aussies strength is their pace and swing and we all saw when they got the chance to play what happened. If India really needs to win, then Kohli has to show why he's the best, he should come roaring down at the aussies and put them in their place, over all team India needs to perform really better, however one must be very cautious, as rains may spoil the show, be careful of your timing as this is a risky match.
8311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses $5,000 and Jamie Dimon hands up on: October 13, 2017, 04:06:40 AM
We are very open minded to the potential use cases in future for digital currencies that are properly controlled and regulated," Chief Financial Officer Marianne Lake said during a call with reporters to discuss the bank's third quarter earnings. So finally Jp Morgan people waking up to realize what kind of mess his one stupid comments caused them, we suffered and now he's humiliated, that's what's I call karma, I hope they find a way to coordinate with each other, and from their words it's apparent that they are running scared and now they are trying to buy peace, who told them to come and attack us, everything was fine, but I feel it's a welcome move for all, we can finally be happy that now a big corporation has endorsed us. Time to kick start the party.

I have often seen here and met people who say they would sell everything and go full In Bitcoins, I yet had to see or hear someone actually do it, until I read about this guy, barely sometime in Bitcoins, he's gone full in, now since the price isn't revealed, I do hope it's not at 4.5 or 5k, that would be absolutely shocking, however if it's in 3k or even 4k it would give him some serious profits, but I wonder would anyone of us dare, and if we would what price would we settle for, say period of one to three years, I would seek 7 - 8k minimum and 10k on the higher side. What would your amount be to go all in.

8313  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 12, 2017, 11:36:22 AM
it would be nice if all the people in the world knew bitcoin in my view because in this case the philippines will be implemented because the people here can not keep up with the modern technology now it's almost a bit of bitcoin knowing here in the Philippines so can not be implemented Such a trade is a lot of lawmakers, because most people know about bitcoins so many people do not get along with that ...

Its not really possible for everyone to use Bitcoins ever, I love Bitcoins, and I would love to see people use it, but there are many difficulties first of all not each and every government is supporting it, secondly people are yet very skeptical about it, there is not much publicity also, and then people have very negative feedback for it, it will take a major effort on government, people and agencies to get Bitcoin used by all. I don't think it's viable given its prices to, and with many government planning it's own cryptos. Only time will tell if this can really happen.
8314  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC analysis for this month! on: October 12, 2017, 09:24:15 AM
After touching a low of, 2900$ to again going to all time high I am very much sure that it shall have support resistance at 4500$, if due to the fork it can only fall upto 3500$, anything below that one would have to be careful and start buying in slow dips. If the fork doesn't effect Bitcoin much, then 5500$ is a realistic figure and with segwit2x 6000$ could be hitting us soon, as both the forks are coming within half a month, it's interesting to see what will happen, I feel one should keep a track on the fork news and buy at every dip as the long term is very good.

Hard Fork Policy Announcement

We've posted comments about how we plan to handle the upcoming Bitcoin Gold and Segwit 2x hard forks. You can find a hot link with this information on nearly every menu of the freebitco.in site.

Quote from: FreeBitco.in HARD FORK POLICY
Bitcoin has 2 hard forks planned in the near future - "Bitcoin Gold" and "Bitcoin Segwit 2x". As we have done with the "Bitcoin Cash" hard fork in the past, we shall support withdrawals of all hard fork coins as long as they are viable - ie. have wallet support, a working blockchain and straightforward redemption policies.

The "Bitcoin Gold" hard fork currently does not seem to be a viable fork - since they have not given any information about the fork on their website (btcgpu.org) and have no supported wallets yet. If there are no wallets that support it, we shall not be able to make "Bitcoin Gold" available for withdrawals. If however, there is wallet support for "Bitcoin Gold" before the hard fork date and the block number for the fork is announced in advance, we shall make it available for withdrawal.

We shall be supporting the "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" fork since it already has a working wallet and has announced the block number when the hard fork will happen. If a majority of miners switch to "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" and it has the chain with the most Proof-of-Work, we shall make it our primary coin and "Bitcoin Core" coins will be made available for withdrawal to your own wallets, otherwise "Bitcoin Core" shall remain our primary coin and "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" coins will be made available for withdrawal to your own wallets. In either case, users will receive coins in both the majority and minority chain equivalent to the balance that they had on the website prior to the hard fork.

We shall be pausing deposits and withdrawals temporarily before the "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" hard fork until a clear winner has emerged. Everything else on the website will function as usual. The fork is scheduled to happen at around the middle of November. We shall give advance notice of when deposits and withdrawals will be paused before the fork date.

Any questions? You know where to shout!

I had seen this and that's when I came to know the bcg and segwit2x fork would happen, this site truly stands out, that it gives users options before hand only, even last time when bcc was given it gave us a chance to convert it to btc, I do hope it continues to keep btc foremost as other alts don't last long, though they will keep both, I just hope users are smart to hold on to btc, also if possible could you specify say I put half a btc just prior to the fork and I get money equal to the bcg, can I reconvert it to btc and what interest would I get btc or bcg? I am sure many would like to know.
8316  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 ICO ANNOUNCE 15 AUG 2017! JOIN THE TRANSFORMATION! 🎰🎰🎰 on: October 12, 2017, 03:35:43 AM
Treasure Chest Bonus Update.

The bonus was abused, so we had to change it a bit. We've discussed those changes in chat and we agreed to this:

1) You are required to have at least level 4 to get it.
2) If results are good (to the site) we are going to slowly increase the reward for users.

The update was implemented effective immediately.

Regards,
Alex

yet another site cutting bonuses and faucets
primedice,stake,crypto-games now bitdice-all are either halving faucets or removing bonuses
shifting from getting new memebers and retaining the old to saving money spent on freebies

level four is what? 5 bitcoins wagered?

I don't see anything wrong with this kind of policy, maybe you skipped the words, Alex clearly wrote the word ABUSED and it clearly shows that many people took undue advantage of this, and we all know newbies are only here for this kind of freebies and then they will make multiple accounts, I feel it's fair enough that only legit users get rewarded, this will clear the way for only the legit players to stay, gets my vote up.

Is this the millionth time Maxwell is getting out to chahal? Lots of potential but constant failures, sad to see this . The match is no fun , India v Aus always used to be close encounters but not anymore .

Maxwell needs to change his mindset then things can change.

He would be playing in a fear of not getting out to him and this might be causing his wicket to him . India played well Ystd to win the match though it was not a full 20 overs match . But I doubt in results it would have impacted much beacuse OZ would not have made above 130 and India would have chased it easily .

130 would never be a chance to lose for India. India have been a super likely to the whole world. There are hundreds and thousands of the fans out there internationally who support India just for their best team. India can chase this 130 so easily like eating a bread with cheese. Strong batting and bowling, and fielding are obvious factors of win for them.

Do you think Australia is a weak team? It all depends on which kind of pitch you're playing. Check the history of both teams then you will come to know so far Indias lowest against Australia is 74 runs ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_India_Twenty20_International_cricket_records ) in Melbourne. If India is so strong team then why they lost champions trophy finals so badly against inconsistent Pakistan team?

Indian team only good at playing on home pitches and if they go out from sub-continent then you will come to know their actual performance.

India vs Australia has always been a good highly contested series, and it's funny that people are saying that because of pitch Australia is under performing, we'll this are the same starts that will perform well in Ipl, and when Ashes happen they will prepare pitch as per their liking. Team India has raised the bar, and team Australia has underestimated them, I don't see them getting victory, unless weather helps them with a draw.
8318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia banning BTC? on: October 10, 2017, 10:01:04 AM

This is puzzling news and it's actually surprising that something of this sort is actually happening, last I knew that Russia would embrace Bitcoins, I feel there is a manipulation attempt going on, I don't think Russia has such a big share to make any kind of big impact, so let's wait and see. According to a article I read they were inviting miners to open farm and kick start Russian economy. Posting the link, what is happening is so confusing.

8319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that digital currencies will replace Fiat? on: October 10, 2017, 09:16:31 AM
No how can digital currency eliminate Fiat, yes the digital currency are a rage but in the end we value them at Fiat only, so how can you stop using Fiat. Not everyone you'll know uses Bitcoins, and most of the government's are not keen to accept bitcoins to, plus elderly and mid age people don't like digital currency, they feel it's like a taboo, plus it takes one he'll of a effort to make them understand, it's very soon yet to say that digital currency can eliminate Fiat, it will require some massive efforts and currently I don't feel enough is done to highlight digital currency, and stop Fiat.
8320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 10, 2017, 04:12:52 AM
Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.

So btc is being used for crimes, hey wasn't Fiat being used to be used? No one came to complain that Fiat is being used for crimes, the authorities did nothing, and suddenly Bitcoins come and they loose their mind, why cause they are not earnings any taxes from it, and most of this crimes are definitely sponsored by the banks and other institutions who are running scared, I would say 95%, and for the 5% yes people may have found a way, and it's natural but what about the fact that millions have beneficted from bitcoins no one ever speaks of that.
