8321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 18, 2021, 08:13:16 PM
I know I mentioned this before but the change that was made to logins during the last update has made accessing the site so much easier. No more endless captcha loops or lockups during the process. I can actually use the site when I want now without having to fight with it for access. I really appreciate it. Thanks!
8322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 18, 2021, 08:05:06 PM
If he’s the whale holding a massive amount of Dogecoin as has been speculated, his goal is simple. Make a ton of money manipulating people who don’t know better. He didn’t become the richest man in the world by not making money. I’m sure it’s all a joke to him, and he’s probably downright giddy that his joke has made him tens of billions of dollars. I doubt he’ll be using the money to make people whole who followed him into this shitcoin mess.
8323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 18, 2021, 07:15:27 PM
Lakers are being favored to win versus the Golden State Warriors. I am going against the favored team here. I am not a fan of Lebron and I just like how much they are giving for the moneyline.
2.60 to bet for the Warriors and that's not bad. I am just a bit worried how Coach Kerr will solve the problem under the rim.
With Drummond and AD dominating the rebound, the Lakers will have a lot of 2nd chance opportunities. We might see Wiggins helping down there and having a double digits in rebounds. Offense is not much of a problem, use Steph as a diversion to give Jordan Poole some space. He can shoot if pressure won't take him over.
Yeah, this match will be difficult for GSW because AD and James looked good in recent games. However, I won't be surprised if Curry will turn on Berserk mode in this upcoming match against the Lakers, and we might see another great performance by him with 50-60 points.

I just don’t know if Curry can be enough. Even with AD and LeBron not at full strength. Plus, you KNOW nobody wants to avoid playing more games before the playoffs than LeBron. If he’s able, I expect we’ll see him play like we haven’t in many months. I don’t think golden state has any answer for Drummond either. If the Lakers can all play together well, the Warriors just don’t have the size to match up.
8324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Video Cards Stopped Working on: May 18, 2021, 07:21:20 AM
this is why multiple spare mobos are needed.

gpus are pretty much like unicorns very hard to find mobos are not.

if you have a secondary mobo just slap in the cards and boom you are mining

I'd have to agree with philipma1957 on this one.  If the fans aren't spinning then the motherboard is likely not providing them power anymore.  This is pretty common if you aren't using powered risers.  You might have to get a new motherboard and while you're at it add in some powered risers that link directly to your PSU to help the motherboard out so that this doesn't happen again.

8327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who wants a carbon neutral bitcoin ? Plant a 100 trees for 300 USD on: May 18, 2021, 06:46:24 AM
Playing trees is always a good thing. There are even sites online that will give you free seeds for all sorts of stuff. Everyone should be their own little Johnny Appleseed and help Mother Nature out when possible. Planting trees, saving the bees, food banks, fighting disease, all great things to spend your time and money on.
8328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 18, 2021, 04:37:56 AM
How about Tony Snell becoming the first NBA player to shoot over 50% from the field and 3 point range while shooting 100% from the free throw line… People are celebrating Kyrie getting into the 50/40/90 club but 50/50/100 might be the new bar to beat. Not sure how likely it is that someone will do this again…
8329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tesla's are garbage, let's get something else on: May 17, 2021, 10:55:10 PM
Teslas are dope. Elon Musk just needs to understand he doesn’t know more about crypto than the average shitcoiner and humble himself while getting some education. I’d hate to not drive a Tesla a year from now just because Elon went full Trump on social media. Sure, he said some stupid things but nobody is perfect. I’m not ready to write him off just yet. He’ll figure it out, hopefully.
8330  Other / Meta / Re: what is the easiest way to see bitcointalk on a mobile? on: May 17, 2021, 10:35:06 PM
I find it hard when looking at bitcointalk  in a browser on a mobile. I am wondering is there an app or recommended browser that is more mobile device friendly?

I tend to have my eyes open in a well lit room when I do it although I suppose a dark room would also work. It’s good to use a phone that’s well charged with an active internet connection as well. Other than those tips, I would say if you’re still having issues, try using a desktop computer. Mobiles do have their limitations. Especially when it comes to small text and buttons like this site has.

Keep deleting my posts and topics, they are the leaders of this forum but yet don't have any courage besides eating dick and keep taking each other from behind.

I already said you delete all posts and topics so that nothing will remain.

Bitcoin has become a ponzi scheme and a scam anyway, I remember when it used to represent anonymity and freedom.

Geez man… What’s with the homoerotic fantasies? Regardless of what your need is, this doesn’t seem to be a very reasonable way to address it. No facts. No evidence. Just throwing insults. If the rest of your posts are anything like this then I see why they were deleted. Take it easy for a bit and think about how serious this is… In other words, this shit doesn’t matter dude, chill the fuck out.
8332  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Websites to discuss vaccine damage repair. on: May 17, 2021, 05:06:20 PM
A domain without a good website idea and ability to build it is pretty much useless in my opinion. It is like having a good phone number but no phone. Sure, someone might come along and want your phone number and be willing to pay you for it, but they could also just pick a new one. Domain squatting is not my favorite thing and it’s a practice I wish was discouraged more.
8333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 05:03:07 PM
In spite of the mask mandate being “lifted” I still have yet to enter a building where it is permitted to not wear a mask.

I’m also curious how they’re going to enforce this mask freedom only for vaccinated individuals. For example, I’m not vaccinated and have no plans to ever be, nor do I plan to wear a mask anywhere it isn’t mandated. Does this mean I have to live the next few years in fear of being asked for my vaccine paperwork? What happens if I don’t have any? Will I be fined, jailed? Have we really gotten to the point where people believe that vaccines are better than natural immunity?
8334  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NastyMining $10K+ / 100x Coin Bitcoin Collectible Giveaway! on: May 17, 2021, 12:27:12 PM
Still about 10 days left to grab an online seat from the auction at https://nastyfans.org and try your luck at winning a silver Minted Seat coin. With 100 coins up for grabs and 28,837 seats in play, the odds are roughly 1 in 288 that you would win with a single seat entry. Not too bad when you consider that you can always resell the seat after the contest, pay to mint it onto a coin, or hold it and receive BTC distributions down the line.
8335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 17, 2021, 11:54:31 AM
Logan Paul has started putting out a lot of boxing content including a recent video where he fights four of the Gronkowski brothers at the same time and manages to get the best of each one. I am hoping and I believe that Logan is going to surprise some people against Mayweather. He has clearly been putting in the work to become a better boxer and I think it is going to show. I’m still hoping for a KO by either side, but I think Logan will most likely lose by decision.
8336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Craig Wright taking (BSV), Bitcoin Core (BTC), To court on: May 17, 2021, 11:50:00 AM
It took me a while to see that this whole CW fiasco was so that he could fork the network and get possession of satoshi’s coins. Seeing the end game being setup with this lawsuit is only confirmation of that. As this drama comes to a head, I can’t understand how full of himself CW has to be to think he was going to pull this scam off. I sincerely hope the legal system doesn’t drop the ball here.
8337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Elon Musk? Is he harmful or useful for Bitcoin? on: May 17, 2021, 11:47:21 AM
Reading Elon’s thoughts as he journeys into Bitcoin has been a bit eye opening. He actually claimed he knows more about money than the Bitcoiners harassing him on Twitter because he invested in PayPal. That seems to me like saying you know how to build a car because you bought some horse feed a couple decades ago… I was a huge Elon Musk fan before this, but now I’m starting to understand those that criticize him and call him a grifter.
8338  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: stake scam 2021 on: May 17, 2021, 10:50:31 AM
The problem with making ridiculous threads like this is if there were an actual real issue people could become desensitized to the false claims and ignore it. The boy who cried wolf if you will. People really need to stop letting their fantasies go wild with ridiculous scam accusations and try having some simple requirements, the first of which being an actual victim.
8339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 17, 2021, 10:19:50 AM
Wednesday night at 7 PM (pst) on ESPN, Los Angeles Lakers versus Golden State Warriors this is going to be one hell of a game. Steph and LeBron meeting up once again on the road to a championship, only a little different this year. They’re playing to avoid fighting for the 8th seed in yet another added game before the playoff starts. Everyone knows how much LeBron needs rest before his playoff run, so you can expect he’ll be doing everything in his power to win this one.

"2021 Basketball Hall of Fame Class"

source: https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1393955174595502080
Quote
- Players: Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Chris Webber, Ben Wallace

- Coaches: Rick Adelman, Jay Wright, Bill Russell

- WNBA: Yolanda Griffith, Lauren Jackson

- International Committee: Toni Kukoc

The final list should be officially announced in a day or two, it was about damn time they elect Chris Webber into the HOF!!!

Reading most of the comments in the last two pages about the Blazers/Nuggets game made me cringe so bad, if Nuggets lose they will avoid the Lakers in the first round. /topic

Chris Webber needed a win after being fired from his job as a commentator.

I’m glad at least the Warriors game is televised today. This will probably be the most exciting day of basketball so far this year. A nice intro to the playoffs. Enjoy today’s games!
