8321  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WebMoney reversible ? on: January 17, 2017, 05:11:12 PM
I've used WM for a number of years now, Never had a issue with them and never had funds frozen.

Long as you stick to the terms then you should have no issues using them.

Trading bitcoin with other individuals is against their terms or not ? I guess there is no way for them to findout but I want to know just to make sure my money are safe from any harm .
8322  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Block.IO lock my account with 600$+ on it on: January 17, 2017, 03:39:06 PM
Its being only three days , you may want to wait more time to receive an answer. If you still don't get anything then I suggest trying to contact them using another email.
I'm not familiar with these kind of things but If you didn't fill any dispute , your bank should be able to provide a proof that no disputes were filled and you could show it to them.
8323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Megaupload + Bitcoins on: January 17, 2017, 02:29:05 PM
Bitcoin people are the most skeptical in the world. I understand why too but give him a chance. He is investing money, time and reputation. He is not a stupid man.
He is using his reputation to brag only. Making me think about Lady gaga

Its not even comparable. If he promised something for the near future and he didn't keep his promise , he won't have any good reputation left. I personally never seen anything from him that make disbelieve him. 20th January is in three days so we should wait and see how things goes and judge later.
8324  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: https://markets.blockchain.info on: January 17, 2017, 02:03:46 PM
Can anyone inform them about the issue??

This issue is definitely from their side because Its impossible for all API to stop working at the same time as they are different exchanges and none of them seem to be working. If you want to inform them then send them an email using this : https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new It shouldn't take too long before you get an answer but I doubt the bug will be fixed fast.
8325  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My first time using Paxful. on: January 17, 2017, 01:43:10 PM
I'm a fan of your videos and I have to say they are very useful and helpful. I however wouldn't recommend Paxful as their CEO and CTO was involved in some shady businesses and they also got arrested in Miami for having cocaine and weapons in their car .
I assume they are no longer part of the team but still , who knows If other staff members are involved too or not . Unless Its really needed , a risk shouldn't be taken.
8326  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Interest Check] - Most popular exchange on: January 17, 2017, 01:35:20 PM
Yobit is not that known to people , some exchanges are country restricted like Kraken . So I suggest going with Poloniex as Its the most used one with the highest trading volumes (If we exclude chinese exchanges).

Okay, I will look into the Poloniex api

In about a week I'm going to make a Windows binary prerelease (I'm developing on Linux primarily) for testing purposes (things seem to be going pretty well). Ultimately, I'm going to host the project at GitHub, but which is the best way of giving people access to a binary version? This is the first time I would be releasing anything in this manner, so I would like to know about possible caveats as well as best practices

Well , I don't think there is a better place then Github for an open source project . Just make sure to make a thread on the forums (Project development section) to keep everyone updated too. If I may ask too , what programming language are you going to use in this case ?
8327  Economy / Economics / Re: Coud lightning network bring more users ? on: January 16, 2017, 06:31:38 PM
What you can be sure is that if it does bring an incentive to run a node, you will have hundreds of people willing to do it, even if it is just 0,01BTC a month (that will probably be a lot lower though). So your answer is yes I think.

I doubt anyone will get that amount. I mean we already have thousands of nodes (5400) and that costs money and much resources , I'm pretty sure we will have that x10 If not more when It comes to Lightning network nodes If it ever pays and that should decrease the fees for other people , Still... I guess someone could use these fees as fees in his own transactions at least.
8328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets without fees and stupid people on: January 16, 2017, 02:00:35 PM
All online wallets have fees. But such thing as USB bitcoin wallet haven't. I use exactly this one, because I'm not so sure in an online wallet. Even if the security of online wallets and exchangers became better, there is risk to it be hacked any moment. So my choice is USB wallet.

What are you talking about ? USB bitcoin wallets don't have any fees  Huh If by USB wallets you mean hardware wallets then they surely do have fees while sending bitcoins , It was never about the wallet , Its about the bitcoin network.
8329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets without fees and stupid people on: January 16, 2017, 01:20:01 PM
Indeed , all wallets have fees. Services like Xapo not that they don't have fees but that they pay them for you and that's only to bring users to their platforms. I wouldn't even consider them as wallets as they don't give you control over your private keys in the first place.
I wouldn't mind using a few cents as transaction fees If I actually have control over my money while Its not the case in Xapo.
8330  Economy / Economics / Coud lightning network bring more users ? on: January 16, 2017, 09:47:42 AM
I mean aside from the fact that the transactions would be much faster etc... Just like Bitcoin , Lightning network will be a node to run , these nodes will be like an intermediator , those who run nodes will be able to earn some fees .

Do you think that should bring more users to bitcoin ? I mean a way to earn money could bring more users , even If not from fiat users , It will from other crypto currencies.
8331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoinUnity on: January 16, 2017, 08:42:02 AM
Honestly ? I think that trying to gather people interested in bitcoin into a telegram group or any other online platform except this forum is pretty much an impossible task to do. I mean look at facebook etc... Its pretty much dead out there even though these services are known.
8332  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-01-16] Bitcoin ATM Bandits Threaten Rivals With Death on: January 16, 2017, 07:32:13 AM
Detroit is making a name for itself as the badlands of America once more - but this time round, it’s all about Bitcoin ATM crime.

According to a complaint filed in the Northern Illinois District Court last month, an unlikely situation has transpired in which a group of men are allegedly smashing up Bitcoin ATMs to eradicate competition in the area.

The machines targeted are owned by the plaintiff, Bitcoin of America, which alleges almost 20 of its 70 BTMs have had their screens smashed over a nine-month period.

8334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Silence! accumulation? on: January 16, 2017, 04:44:14 AM
I prefer it this way. I guess most of people want it to be like that even though they don't admit it , this should allow them to get more bitcoins while they can. Increasing with stability is definitely better then a pump-dump because the faster It goes UP , the faster It will go down after that. If people decide to dump , then Its on our favor and that should decrease the price for us in order to buy more.
8335  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Collection] Most useful Bitcoin Tools on: January 16, 2017, 04:04:29 AM
Wallets are known and I thought they shouldn't be listed , I could add them If people requests them though. I hope you guys follow the format as posted and give in depth details otherwise I can't add anything.
@ETFbitcoin I added both sites you mentioned and change the format as you requested too. Feel free to add anything If you have something else.
8336  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitcoinTalk Freelancers how do you transact your service payments on: January 16, 2017, 03:56:02 AM
Almost everyone on the forums is using this list for escrow : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 In addition to a few members such as ranochigo , shorena etc... since the list is no longer being updated as the OP is inactive.

If you really want a smooth transaction with forum members then Its always recommended to use an escrow from the forums and not a third party ones.

Escrow is very simple , the buyer send the funds to the escrow , you (the seller) give your project to the buyer , If the project meets what he asked for then the escrow will release the funds. You should make sure to have terms of services so you don't have issues in your transaction. (how much revisions you would give to your program/design and stuff like that)
8337  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can i buy stuff using paypal transfers to an email (Goods and Service) on: January 15, 2017, 05:07:38 PM
what kind of stuff? why just not buy from stores who accepts paypal, or ebay itself.

I wouldn't recommend him anything, he probably wants to know where he could send as goods and services in order to chargeback because sending as gift will make things harder for him.
8338  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CoinMall.io - A Bitcoin Marketplace for Digital Goods on: January 15, 2017, 04:24:56 PM
I suggest adding a referral system that pays well for the moment . I like the fact that you was advertising on forum slots last week and If you really want to bring more traffic , you should start a signature campaign If you are willing to really invest into your project and with the referral program , people would definitely come to sell into your website.
