8321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a big business??? on: May 06, 2016, 06:46:21 PM
Bitcoins is not a business. Its a Currency and a very good one.  People buy it and sale it at a higher price and use it in a business mode but in reality it is a greatest digital currency ever.
8322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: May 06, 2016, 06:43:10 PM
Bitcoin will not rise that fast as you can see now you see that the value of Bitcoin will rise soon and that will be good but it wont rise to that much because it goes not that fast.
As you can see now you see that the value keeps stable for a long time and many people dont like it.

I like current rise. Slow and steady, in my opinion much better way for long run. I believe bitcoin can make amazing thing in future, but that will not come fast. Its something that is created just 8 years ago.
I don't like when people like bitcoin just for price rise and fast fortune. For me bitcoin is great thing, I can do things that i like with btc. It doesn't matter if price is 400 or 450 $, that is on second place. First is enjoying in earning, gamble with btc and spent it on other ways.
The value is not going to that high and as you can see now you see also that the value is going rising slowly indeed but it is not rising that fast so it will takes a long time.
And that is bad for the most people because they dont have the patience for it and that is bad.

I think the price is moving up very slowly and it is not what is expected. I wonder if our exceptions of 1000$ on halving will be met ever again ?
8323  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: May 06, 2016, 06:40:37 PM
Loan is too risky if you cant pay it, Loan the amount that you can pay so that it is not risky, and loan if you need it in emergency for your family, dont loan if you need it in investment, dont risk the money that you loan in betting sites or gambling .

Yes, Loan should be taken if you really need it. Do not take loan to invest in other sites, because if you loose, you will end up with nothing and become a defaulter.
8324  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: May 06, 2016, 06:37:36 PM
If there's a big crash coming then that's a good opportunity for everyone who holds a lot of money to buy items in cheap price

Crash means crash and all the people suffers from it. You can say if economy crash can be usefull for any group of people. You have money and it goes in crisis.
8325  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: May 06, 2016, 06:32:32 PM
Yes I think we should wait till halving as the price is expected to rise at the time of halving

Its just an speculation and prediction that it will rise at the time of halving, nothing is written anywhere that it will happen and if it doesn't happen then bitcoin will surely loose many of its users.

I think even if it does not raise to the expected value and remain stable at the current price, it will still be having interest for the people and people will still use it.
8326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I benefit from btc? on: May 06, 2016, 06:29:39 PM
How can I benefit from btc? I mean let's say I bought 2 btc, what next? how can I earn more of btc or dollars
Why do people rush over btc if it's just an electric currency without having benefit from it?

Benefit in the sense you can do trading, mining or many things to invest it on to make more bitcoin by your 2 bitcoins. All you need to put some efforts. If you need without effort means you have wait for halving for sure.

Trading is the best way to grow your coins as if it goes in your favor then you will be holding some more coins before the halving.

Trading of ALT coins can also result in high profits, if you invest in the right Coin when its price is low.
8327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin to Bitcoin 0.00827 on: May 06, 2016, 06:26:18 PM
Generating about 0.01 LTC every 2-3 days is very very low. and for the bitcoin mining, its quite expensive.
8328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHICH BITCOIN WALLET IS THE MOST GOOD AND CONVINENCY on: May 06, 2016, 06:22:58 PM
Hi Legendary Member, Hero Member, Senior Member, Full Member etc. Could pls tell the most secure and also convinent to use btc wallet. thanks
beware with wallet that use vanity address,i just mention this for warn everyone after i read thread about vanity address that could stole bitcoin from your wallet. basicly almost all wallet are secure, coinbase, blockchain, multibit or another wallet have same security method, just activat your 2FA for more security. everything can happen to your wallet if you dont aware with phising or another people who try scamming you.

Ok, I have blockchain wallet but I have not activate the 2FA and if I get you right. Are you saying if I don't activate the 2FA my wallet may get hacked?

2FA should be enabled for every wallet as it help in more securing the Wallets. But what is this vanity address ? Can you please guide me on it ?
I heard this first time
8329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 06, 2016, 06:19:57 PM
Still this thread is full of hopes that bitcoin will replace banks. Please think first some possible consequences if ever the banking system will be gone and will just replaced by bitcoin. That is really a serious problem so let's just enjoy those two.

I think that one day banks will be replaced by the bitcoins. But which will be that day?
Thats the question Unanswered. We need to wait for this to happen.
8330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Satoshi moved coins on April 30, 2016. How was this missed? on: May 06, 2016, 06:12:37 PM
well, i am not an expert but as far as i know (with the help of AgentofCoin explanation and google) every transaction has a time attribute inside of it which you can set it manually like this even into the future (don't panic when seeing 2035 Cheesy) and when the tx is included in a block then there will be another time (the block mined time) which then the explorer will calculate that time difference this way

and in this case i think the -54 min difference is just the daylight saving time difference between the sender and the miner (6 minutes to get included in the block)

No, the time that is displayed is how long blockchain.info thinks it took for that individual tx to get 1 confirmation.
In your example of https://blockchain.info/tx/d2c39af85861f8cc1ee236919335f30f190ab2a9fcccf7bcaa9597432d7aa616,
blockchain.info is reporting that the tx took 22 years before it was placed into a block. Lol. Which of course is impossible.

I am not aware that tx data contains timestamping of when it was transmitted, and thus can be manipulated.
My understanding is the timestamping comes from the first node that detected it and then the block found timestamping.
Maybe someone with their own purposefully backdated/timed node pushed their own tx to a blockchain.info node,
so that blockchain.info thought the tx was pending for 22 years. But really I have no idea, I'm not an expert either.

well, again i am not an expert so maybe someone like CIYAM should come along and explain it much better. but again there is a timestamp in each transaction that you can change in case of the said transaction it has a timestamp of 2063836859 in UNIX format which is Sun, 27 May 2035 00:00:59 GMT (http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htm)

https://blockchain.info/tx/d2c39af85861f8cc1ee236919335f30f190ab2a9fcccf7bcaa9597432d7aa616?format=json

relevant: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1164293.0

I see what you are saying now. You are mostly correct except that the part of the json,
where it says "time":2063836859," I believe is not part of the tx information and is just
internal blockchain.info data. Blockchain.info is claiming they received the tx in 2035,
even though they clearly show it being placed into a block in 2013 ("block_height":237173,").

I think the senders node is sending the "time":2063836859,", it is not in the tx.

Its pretty strange on the part of Block Chain . Blockchain.info is claiming they received the tx in 2035. Unbelievable
8331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is my fee ok ? on: May 06, 2016, 06:05:25 PM
yes you got lucky i guess, dont feel special it happens often.

thats such a big TX
normally TX are <1KB
how did you manage such a massive TX? lots of tiny inputs? why?

251 inputs...

i'm just being stupid and didn't realize it would take all the individual transactions I received from the pool (where I mine) and re-use them.

That's just me not being so familiar with the whole BTC thing Cheesy
I thought that my client wallet would consolidate the prev transactions in 1/per address.

I had enough BTC in 2 adresses, but one of these had hundreds of transactions....

so it took 251 of my transactions in 2 adresses to get enough BTC to make the payment.....

0.00001 (BTC/kB) x37 = 0.00037
my fee was 0.0007 BTC

I think there is something abnormal in the Fee.
8332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs sex workers on: May 05, 2016, 02:45:35 AM
You may have some points here but I'm going to disagree with you on two things. Firstly, sex workers (online one's) need BTCitcoin more than the other way since it's the only way for them to cover their true identity. Secondly this only could apply for those who work in front of cameras only and not those who work as real sex workers (in person) since they will go for cash (any time of the day all day long) mainly to get rid of the hassle of exchanging it to cash in the end.

That's why they (real sex workers) must use bitpay, bitpay can exchange bitcoin to fiat & send it to their banks account automatically, they just have go to bank & withdraw their money.
So, there's no reason they can't accept bitcoin, expect they really don't want anyone know his/her job.

Bitcoins trasncations cannot be traced and its best for the  Workers involved in such tasks
8333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: April 25, 2016, 04:34:02 PM

8336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: April 10, 2016, 05:03:26 PM
I mostly use bitcoin as more simple. but for security, paypal is the best

I dont think Paypal has good security. Bitcoins wallets are more secure and better.
8337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: April 10, 2016, 05:01:30 PM
All the people aren't too stupid, you made it too generic. Some need more information about what is and how could change its monetary system. Others never heard anything about bitcoin. And some could be stupid or wrong and don't want to use it.
it could be means the majority of the bitcoiner are smart and lucky, coz they already knew it and using it right now, isn't it? i personally agree with you that many peoples out there never heard anything about bitcoin, due to lack of promotion and adoption or something else

Those who know bitcoins will never leave them as they know the benefits of it.
8338  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: April 10, 2016, 04:00:30 PM

8339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You are now able to use your bitcoins to shop at Walmart, Chipotle, gas stations on: April 10, 2016, 03:58:56 PM
We want bitcoins to be avaible and accepted everywhere.  Smiley
8340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: April 10, 2016, 03:57:43 PM
I will prefer to teach them once, I will never keep on forcing them to adapt bitcoin, if they don't want its their choice I really don't have time to keep on running behind them why would I waste my time and energy behind them.
Exactly, because not everything is meant for everyone. Some people are interested in PayPal. Some are interested in other stuff, etc etc. We can't all occupy the same way to pay for things anyway. It's just not possible. It's like asking a guy in the US to pay for things with China money. He can't do it.

Im kinda neutral with this if you teach him once i think they cannot sink in to their minds easily on what you are teaching because bitcoin is not known by our relatives or neighboors that not techie. I must say i teach them as long as they have question feel free to ask if they need help. But mostly i teach newbies with youtube videos as well as joining them to bitcoin grouo where they can get more idea about bitcoin.
YouTube videos? Mind messaging me some of the videos?

Not only youtube video, but also we require to teach them verbally about the coins
