8361  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merit System Upgrade on: February 07, 2019, 05:33:37 AM
Forum members have frequently raised the idea of antimerits (or demerits), and I personally believe that it is very unlikely that theymos would introduce such a system, especially when looking that the trust system and having the trust and untrust features.

In my viewpoint, if such a system of demerits were introduced, it would result in a lot of unnecessary and petty squabbling and likely bring out the worst in members.

theymos did actually mention "demerits" when he introduced the merit system, and likely he has made some subsequent post on the topic that continues to show reluctance to entertain proposals to add "demerits" to the forum.

I like the idea of requiring 10 sMerits to produce 1 demerit, that way its costly to really mess with somebody. Even with this ratio, you're right, it would still bring out a lot of pettiness and there's already quite a bit of that going around these days.

You're bumping a 3-month old response to a 12-month old question... Lol. Everybody who ever bought this coin is currently sitting on a loss. Congratulations! I tried to warn you guys that this was a crap coin rebooted as a scam, but you didn't want to listen. There's absolutely no reason to buy this coin.

I brought paccoin and mined paccoin in 2013,2014,Sold them before swap.Brought paccoin again after swap.

Sorry to hear about your losses.
Sold 50% paccoin 0.00000001BTC,Do you think lost?

Well, 1 satoshi is the absolutely smallest denomination for bitcoin, so, yes.

The price did nothing but go down sans 1 pump effort. This is a scamcoin, so, you got what you deserved.

This is great work. I think its been quiet in this thread because everybody checks your update and then immediately gets to adjusting their trust list and firing off a volley of comments in Reputation.
8364  Economy / Reputation / Re: Former Staff member Lauda has a pill addiction - *not disputed by lauda* on: February 06, 2019, 05:45:05 PM
I got all the way to page 5 before I realized this was from last year...

Makes the current environment all the more explainable.

QS has now dropped to very least trusted person (still) on the forum.
8365  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2019 Q1) on: February 06, 2019, 01:49:15 PM
Is "Bruno" QS?

? 2 Accounts Connected: ?

cryptohunter, Thule,

Proof:

Might be just my imagination, but...

Yep. No "buts." 100% your imagination. What's your evidence connecting Bruno to cryptohunter again? Bruno didn't control who wanted to be a part of his ICO sig campaign.

He already addressed this on January 13th (he was talking about you specifically when he said "some users"):

Full disclosure: I'm not cryptohunter in spite of some users claiming otherwise.
8366  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: February 06, 2019, 01:00:01 PM
I'd rather read a poster that's posted just one thousand quality post versus ten thousand unbalanced posts such as your hero "Bruno".

What does that have to do with the fact that you're wrong about Cryptohunter being Bruno?

You do understand that trust was *neutral* ??  It wasn't even negative.

I'm just trying to tell you that's not him. Not only did he flat out say its not him, their writing styles are too different.
8367  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTCDev Exchange with a FAKE TEAM - SCAM on: February 06, 2019, 09:07:02 AM
Man, some scammers are just so lazy. I can't believe they don't try a little harder these days.

I noticed I can click on the Announcements board and at least 2 of the top 20 listings will be scams.
8368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 06, 2019, 07:32:04 AM
Wait, twitter jack jack? Hm. Maybe some of his questionable actions are just a result of being in a tough position.

I used to listen to the Joe Rogan Experience all the time, and (besides an NPR podcast about BTC I heard previously, but wasn't as interesting) its pretty much the whole reason I got into bitcoin, after hearing Andreas Antonopoulos talk about it there.

So this Jack Dorsey guy was on JRE the other day and he took a _lotta_ flack in the comments... 10k thumbs up, 65k thumbs down.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mP9OmOFxc4

I should really listen to the whole thing. I think there is a whole Alex Jones crossover contingency that is pissed that their guy was banned from Twitter, and blame Jack for it, then blame Joe for taking his side.

But most notably he talked about how he thought in the future the internet would have a single digital currency, and he hoped that currency was bitcoin.
8369  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merit System Upgrade on: February 06, 2019, 07:05:45 AM
After some pondering; I have concluded that Bitcointalk members can be grouped in 4 distinct categories:

A - crypto enthusiasts eager to learn more about blockchain technology and also passionate about the idea of decentralized currency

B - people who like the idea of decentralized currency; but don't have time/interest/background to learn much more than basic knowledge needed to effortlessly use cryptocurrency

C - people who are here solely for income from bounty campaigns (those people are usually from very poor countries and I don't judge them because their economic situation is often the result of "effort" of rich countries)

D - spammers, FUD-sters, trolls, etc.

This is a pretty reasonable breakdown. Like you, I started off as B (I was a lurker for about 6 months before that), then I quickly moved into A. However, I did spend some time being a troll in D, but I think my intentions were good. Not getting into it immediately for the money (or shit tokens) is a sign of good faith that you're hear to do some learnin' and contribute, which separates you from 90% of other noobs which immediately launch into a career of mindless shitposting. Best of luck to you.

Ummm thanks.  I guess.

In other good news, BSV was recently surpassed by Binance Coin in market cap.

Interestingly, BNB is the only coin/token to have appreciated in terms of BTC over the last 14 months.
Every single other altcoin is down against BTC in this time period.

I think Cobra is a bit bipolar, but I have to admit I'm starting to like him again.

I can't fit them in one screen shot, but you or the previous owner of your account has given BiPolarBob, YuTü.Co.in, Zin-Zang (who has given me red trust out of the blue not that long ago) Phinnaeus Gage, Gleb Gamow all glowing trust wall trust (to name but a few)

Uhh...

1. My account was never sold, I can sign messages proving it.
2. I gave Zin-Zang a red trust, might want to look at that again, detective.  Roll Eyes

What I wrote for you is:

So no.  I probably won't be removing that post - as I said a couple of posts (half hour or so) ago.

I haven't given any of Bruno's alts negative trust wall trust as yet.

Just FYI this person definitely is not Bruno.

Full disclosure: I'm not cryptohunter in spite of some users claiming otherwise.

Hmm... IDK - I might wait for someone with a bit more credibility to come along

More credibility than Bruno regarding his own alt accounts? Like who? He's been extremely forthright in which alts are his -- there's no reason to suspect he has _yet another_ alt account with OVER 10,000 POSTS, and he'd be keeping that one a secret (unlike the other 2).

8375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The FREE Coin, the first cryptocurrency for global cryptocurrency usage on: February 06, 2019, 03:37:55 AM
We provide internal information on a "need to know" basis : we think Coinmarketcap should have this info, we do not think that we have to answer every detail question of persons that are spamming our project since last December such as Nutildah and Coinclarity. Sorry guys, you can not continue to shout that we are a scam, and then hope that we answer every question that you put on the table. We simply IGNORE you.

You are a scam. If you weren't, you'd provide the addresses with the other 2 trillion "locked" coins. It's very simple and clear as day by this point. Its an extremely easy request, yet you can't fulfill it, because you are indeed running a scam. Any serious investor in this project would "need to know" where these coins are -- it should be kept a secret, there's no reason for that.

I hope your "investors" have the intellect to see what is going on here and the strength to do something about it.

this coin dead

Any news aboit BTCD?

Yes. Its been dead for quite some time, as it no longer has a functioning blockchain.

Kudos to the OP for making this update in the subject title.
8377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The FREE Coin, the first cryptocurrency for global cryptocurrency usage on: February 05, 2019, 04:09:11 AM
We are already listed on 20 exchanges (including LATOKEN, Cointiger, Hotbit, ....), for which the listing fees where paid by the current project team.  Now we have the possibility to list on the fastest growing exchange : BITMART.com (currently at place 7 of largest exchanges by adjusted volume on Coinmarketcap.com)

We still need 7 BTC to finance this listing. The investor gets in return a large pack of FREE coins at a very LOW price (on the condition he/she agrees to keep the coins for at least 6 months).Do you want to invest 7 BTC to be part of a fast growing crypto project ? Contact us via info@freecoin.technology ! #crypto #cryptocurrency #finance #projectteams #investments

Given the fact that you refuse to address the accusations above I would say this would be an extremely poor investment for anybody. 7 BTC for an exchange listing for what is likely to be a scam token? Lordy lordy.

You obviously were telling your telegram group only 4 trillion coins were in circulation, however you can only account for 4 trillion coins as not being distributed... Where are the other 2 trillion coins??

If you follow the path of ETH addresses listed by CC, it proves that FREE tokens have been making their way from what is supposed to be a "locked" address to exchanges. If you could simply supply the addresses where the other 2 trillion "locked" coins are kept ("locked" is in parentheses because you keep moving them around), then it would make you look a lot more credible than you currently do... Just sayin'.
8378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈The Official 2019 Super Bowl Poll🏈🏈 on: February 04, 2019, 06:54:17 PM
OK so only a few more days before the big game. I'm gonna have to go with the Pats to win by 3 or more. Rams just don't have the playoffs experience that the Pats do. If the Rams win I'll eat my hat.

Booyah! Pats win, 13-3. Congrats to everybody who bet on the Pats, but not the Pats themselves, because Tom Brady already had 5 Super Bowl rings.

Fuckin' 7 for 7 in my post season picks and its all documented here.

Why can't I do that kind of a streak during the regular season???!

Well, that was fun. Best part is I don't have to eat my hat.
