8361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: February 27, 2019, 04:09:51 PM
Why is new york all the sudden winning their games when they were doing so miserably at home.
Werent they going for the number one draft pick along with phoenix or they just want to prove to everybody they are still a team to cheer for this late into the season.
Watching their game last night in the fourth quarter all their shots were landing which was a very strange thing to see coming from this team. Maybe the trades they did before the deadline boosted their confidence level a bit.

^^
This is exactly why I dont like to bet on premier league games when those same teams are thinking about the champions league.
They tend to sit off their good players and change up their entire starting line up before the match.
I am still going to place a small wager on tottenham since the odds are too juicy to resist though. Smiley
Even without kane in the lineup I think they can get a win off of a poor chelsea squad.
8364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: February 27, 2019, 03:43:56 PM
Very tempting to put a bit of money on barcelona today when they go against real madrid in el classico.
They will be hard pressed to beat barca with messi just coming off a roll of three goals into the net last game.
But last time I bet against real madrid they let one in at the last minute and they had a draw instead of a win.
8365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019, A Challenging Year for Ethereum on: February 27, 2019, 02:19:49 PM
Already today there should be updates in ethereum. Depending on how well this happens, we will judge the complexity of this year for this coin. However, it seems to me that this year will be better for ethereum than the previous one. The year 2018 was bad for all coins, and especially for ethereum, which fell in price much lower than other coins. I think that this year for ethereum will be more successful.
Yes. Last year was tough on all cryptocurrency and ethereum was not immune to this either.
Hard fork Constantinople should happen sometime between February 28th to March 1st for block number 7,280,000.
So it will be happen quite soon.
The price has rose a little bit in the past 24 hours but not by much. So we might see it rise a bit higher over the next 24 hours with people wanting to buy a couple of coins up in anticipation of the fork.

Unfortunately the Magic loss, they were able to have a good lead in the 3rd but the Knick come up strong in the last quarter.
It's their 2nd home team already after a long time, this team is very interesting now.

Sorry for your loss guy, there's still one game left where you can take back your loses.

Parlay bets with magic got busted, the team was able to have a good run and manage to take the lead before knicks takes over in the 4th and win the game, still have a good hope for single bets with nuggets, still have a lots of time before the game will begin or even betting with the live bets, tailing and hoping for the streak to keep coming, will keep checking the live updates.

Good luck  to all of us followers, hope for the streak to still continue from here.
Yes. Orlando really screwed everybodies parlay up last night.
The nuggets were the savior of the night with a comfortable win on home court.
The raptors blew away celtics and was surprised with the under on points.
8368  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet Review 2019 : A Perfect Gambling Site to Win Huge Bitcoins on: February 27, 2019, 02:06:46 PM
CloudBet offers a huge bonus, you can earn up to 5 BTC on first deposit this is exceptionally big. However, your bonus balance will be credited automatically when you deposit your first Bitcoin. Further, to withdraw your bonus, you need loyalty points.

You get 0.01 Bitcoins for every 800 loyalty points you earn. These 0.01 BTC bonuses are transferred to your betting account after releasing. This bonus increases to 5 BTC if your deposit was also 5 BTC in size. You have a year to win all the loyalty points for the bonus.

Additionally, there is also an interesting promotion on the US Open. If you bet on any match in the US Open, you have the opportunity to earn points. You get one point for every 10 mBTC you bet at odds of 1.50 and above. Moreover, the top 10 players then get to split profits of a 2.5 BTC bonus. However, they have the same promotions throughout the year.

The bonus system looks like pretty good incentive for users to signup and be active on a daily basis.
However,I don't trust such bonus system that much, because Cloudbet could change the rules and your loyalty points will become worthless.Interesting platform though.
The bonus they give does look good. But it is too good to be true.
Over the past few months there has been many allegations against them saying deposits made then if they do win anything their balance is frozen because the provider says they have done something wrong. Thus not having the signup bonus voided in the process.
I certainly wouldnt chance depositing such a high amount just to have it frozen on a site waiting for a reason to be shown why it was locked up in the first place.
8369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN Genesis Keys on: February 27, 2019, 12:48:35 AM
If the genesis keys were ever found and unlocked the wallet of all those bitcoins then I would imagine the holder could essentially crash the price by selling them.
But if the holder of those keys were truly the creator of bitcoin I can not see them doing this to his creation.
That would be against to all that satoshi stood for.

Well!!! this happens even with the ATM machines too, thieves are everywhere in the world as they are very proactive when it comes to their business Grin Grin Grin this will not impact on any investor I guess. We need to be careful and take care of our selfs. Guys who are planning for Crypto machine business need to be very careful here.
Yes they do happen everywhere all over the world. But those machines way a ton and you usually see people hooking up trucks to try and pull them away so they can crack them open some place else other then where they were bolted down to.
These bitcoin atm machines are placed on a stand in these establishments and do not look like they weight more than 50-75 pounds and could be hauled away by a person.
8372  Economy / Economics / Re: Quadriga CEO Death - Real or fractional banking? on: February 26, 2019, 09:37:45 PM
The guy did fake his own. Most definitely cause he wrote and signed a will just a month before going on a trip to a country in which some one who is sick does not go to unless they are expecting to come down with something and eventually die there.
This is what everybody is questioning with their decision to go there at this time and so close to christmas?
Does not make any sense to do this.
Also his wife who he got married to several months prior received a land in nova scotia and a home in some other place. Also a large boat and a private jet.
So his estate can not sell these assets so to pay the customers atleast part of what they lost?
This also does not make any sense whatsoever.
8373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win one bitcoin on: February 26, 2019, 09:21:03 PM
If noone gets any referrals or other commissions then they are collecting 5btc to payout 1btc lol. Pretty sure 19$ for a 1:1000 chance is a bit overkill as well.
For the site to run this there is a profit for them of BTC4 after paying out the winner the BTC1.
So to me the only winner of this site is the owner.
This is not really gambling for them as they do not have to spend a thing out of their own pocket.
8374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: February 26, 2019, 08:17:34 PM
Coinbase announcement that it would list xrp in its exchange would be very positive to xrp community as we can see xrp price are gaining 5-10% in just a day while bitcoin and ETH  are consolidating. This announcement would counter in JPM  stable coin announcement that struck the xrp price.
Just heard the news of this today as well. But usually when a large exchange such as coinbase announces adoption of a coin it jumps much more then just 5-10%. So maybe there will be a delay in it and could be why people are not buying it up to increase the price further.
Will need to wait and see when they actually do have it listed on the their exchange with the usd pairs they announced it will be using.

Here is what I have noticed so far and liked on the new updated version 2.0 of the site for the games in which I played the old site.
The ball for plinko glows when it goes down the pinned board which is a nice touch compared to the old one which did not. This makes it a little more enjoyable to watch it go down then having nothing at all. The places where it hits are recorded and shown at the side now in tile form instead of having to scroll down half way down the screen to see what you won if you were not watching everybet placed. It was only shown in the older site on the bet log on the same page.
First time playing hi-lo on either site and found it a good experience as the textures were soft and the page was easy to see even if the browser window wasnt fully expanded.
Overall like the updated site better so far with just using those two games so far with placing bets.
Just glanced at limbo but didnt quite understand it so skipped it and some people in chat said it was just a crash type game so didnt play it since I played and lost alot on those crash games already. Grin
Cheers to those who like those type of games it might be your favorite one.

All in all, KYC might be requested. On your Bitcointalk profile it says you're accessing this forum from India and therefore Bitcasino.io should be accessible for you.

Cheers,

Yes, I am from India. Gambling is illegal in India and it is a State subject. Every state has its own laws regarding gambling. There is no legal framework which says online gambling is illegal. I guess that is why most of the Casinos accepts Indian players. Since the laws are not clear regarding online casinos, I prefer to be anonymous while accessing casinos. This is why I am using VPN.
Gambling is illegal in India? This I didnt know as I did not do any research into it before hearing it from the forum. Embarrassed
Same as most states in the US they have their own laws and do not allow you to log into a site that is related to gambling.
But most of those players who are restricted to gambling find a way to log into to those sites regardless using a method either through VPN or some others.
Also with India banking industry having a hard view on cryptocurrencies and its use by their clients I can see those who want to use these crypto casinos being very difficult.
8380  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019 on: February 26, 2019, 05:29:27 PM
Now if amazon would start accepting bitcoin for their customers purchases this would push the method of payment to extreme levels towards cryptocurrency as a legitimate form of payment for everyday goods.
I have heard in the last month there has been talks behind the scenes from bezos in researching more about how they could work with a payment processor in accepting some sort of crypto so they would be able to receive the funds in usd.
But nothing has come out of it up until now.
Hopefully later in the year we will have some progress in their stance on cryptocurrency being accepted by them and thus bring forward the rest of the retail industry to do the same.
