8361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Food industry and cryptocurrency on: September 10, 2016, 09:02:27 AM
In the near future, you will see many farm companies releasing their own cryptocurrency
Those smart farmers will eventually come to a realization that the only real form of money is the food they put in their mouth.
Because of that reason, the value of their farm cryptocurrency will only go up. Other paper currencies will always be manipulated and beaten down by central banks' frauds.

Here's an example:

A lobster farm will release their own cryptocurrency called Lobster coin
A clam farm will release their own cryptocurrency call Clam coins
A crab farm will release their own cryptocurrency call Crab coins
A tuna farm will release their own cryptocurrency call Tuna coins

These farm coins will be back by real money value also known as food value.
(put money where their mouth is)

It's very complicated to applying in the real life, i think will better if we mixing all of the coin into 1 form, for making that can be more easier in my minds. Very confused if the coin is be divided like that.
8362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will be used widely? on: September 10, 2016, 06:45:13 AM
I think eth can't be widely used in the real world
I don't think so, because there are services who accept exchanging are like coinbase, new services iconomi.net and another exchangers services on this forum. Although it is needs much time but it is positive news for ETH and another ether coins (ETC).

Its really far to be happen since mostly people preferred to used bitcoin uptil now and stores are slowly adopting to use it aswell as we can easily cashout our btc in any banks we want(im in phils we can do it instant) but i dont think eth can function the same as bitcoin there so many things for eth to probe with and although i believe that it will used widely but provably it will be an secondary option for people since they would provably exchange their eth to btc so it can be usefull for them.

I think the investors and users will be more interested in the Monero. It is similar to bitcoin as a currency but is more anonymous.
Anonymous and blablabla.... I think there is no coin is real anonymous maybe I can say that is just semi-anonymous... and they made monero is anonymous just for advertising their coin and get popularity and for my personality all of the coin is same i don't ever think there are a coins is like having more anonymous or another like that.
8363  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: September 10, 2016, 06:35:59 AM
Loans actually can be very risky, but if you know that you are able to pay it back then it should be no problem at all.

That is the wrong word, if you want to make a poll I think a lot of people will say wanna for borrow and will never pay back... it's why there is a collateral system to preventing the people is not wanna for pay back their loans.
8364  Other / Off-topic / Re: Way to get bitcoin..!! on: September 10, 2016, 06:29:15 AM
I'm not gambler and I do not like it.  But there are plenty of people around me , spending their time to earn  some cash with betting , online casino, gambling games etc.  I'm sure that  maximum twenty per cent of them in profit. eighty percent of them  still trying to compensate their losses.
I don't even think 20% people out of 100% get profit from gambling... for me it is only 2%.. honestly I didn't see anyone who saved some money from gambling. (only earning or wining from gambling is not profit. the profit is that money you save after finishing playing, and 98% people loose their earning again after wining)..

That's right, I agree with you because until this time I'm just seeing a little percent of people is can get profit in gambling, too many people is I see in my experience and a lot of them is not losing all of their funds but 80% from of total their amount is lost.
8365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where do you save your Litecoin? on: September 10, 2016, 03:37:59 AM
I only hold a very, very limited amount of LTC, but i keep it in electrum for litecoin. It's a HD wallet for litecoin, so you're in charge of your private keys, you only need a seedphrase to restore and you don't have to sync/verify...

If you hold a big chunc of LTC, the paper wallet is advisable tough.
HD wallet for litecoin? Do you have a link to that wallet? I need to export litecoin fund from paperwallet that don't have to sync the whole network

This one should work: https://electrum-ltc.org/
Disclaimer: i'm not the developer, nor have i read the full sourcecode. I just got the link from a post from a trusted member (can't even remember where), i've been using it for a while without a glitch.
Well, also good news for me, but this is my first time heard about the HD wallet for lite coin, from your review i think i wanna try that too. thanks
8366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY on: September 10, 2016, 03:28:25 AM
I think LISK is the best coin to invest right now.
Price still low and many good things are coming
Good team good community and great projects around.
Also there are good ICOs like ICONOMI that give you the opportunity to get big profits.
But don't forget to do your own research.

Regards!
Lisk, Monero is best alt place for investment in this time but Iconomi is a good upcoming alt coin and with the another is decent it think the two is having a bright way.
8367  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: XMine.org moving bitcoins turned into scam similar hashocean on: September 10, 2016, 02:41:40 AM

8368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked BitcoinTalk Data Finally Surfaces On Dark Net on: September 10, 2016, 02:36:08 AM
'To break it down, there are 469,540 passwords that have been encrypted with SHA-256, and 44,868 passwords encrypted wit SMF encryption.'

Incorrect.

So it's a fake article?
Should we change the password or not?

It will be very helpful if the forum implement a 2FA or something like that...
It's not a fake article, i believe is real according to in may 2015 bitcoin talk is ever getting hacked and their some database was stolen and if you wanna visiting in another sub forum in here you will see there are a people is selling the account is from the hacked database.
8369  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would You Choose $50K Value Paid as Bitcoin, Gold or New Corvette on: September 10, 2016, 02:29:26 AM
This is a fun poll to see what people value. If a game show offered a choice of $50K but paid as Bitcoin, Gold or a new Corvette which would you choose?
It just depends on the people needs if that is just wanna for storing them I think gold is better compared with another and if the people is wanna for growing the amount the bitcoin has become a best option for that.

8371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can The Future Value of Bitcoin be Predicted "Accurately" ? on: September 10, 2016, 01:49:23 AM
Hello Fellas and Bellas,

I'm trying to firstly conceptualize and then hopefully create an accurate Bitcoin Future Valuation tool of some sort. It would essentially be a tool that lets you "scientifically"  and accurately forecast the Value/Price of 1 Bitcoin (and X amount of Bitcoins) in regards to the short, mid and long term future. It would obviously use specific metrics coupled with real-time market sentiment readings which would cause real-time fluctuation/ramifications to the future Valuations .

But i want to ask, is this even possible? I know predicting the future of ANYTHING is deemed impossible but at the very best i am trying to create something that can classed as REALISTIC in terms of the future projections it provides.

Your thoughts?
That's possible, predict is will be better if you don't out from the road of the realistic things, and you need for considering a lot of factor before making your predict, will the people is seeing your predicted is not just a trump.
Well applied in your concept and your tool.

8374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the best APP for viewing bitcoin News on: September 09, 2016, 01:33:42 PM
I have heard a lot of complains from my friends, it's not easy for viewing News from different medias. They have to change websites again and again.

In some district, they have to use VPN to reach these websites. Is there any APP can provide all-in -one News service?

Every time, I would recommend BITKAN. It's a easy-used APP, which contain News from Bitcoin.com, BitcoinMagazine, CoinDesk, BTC.com,ChainB and other Chinese medias. This all-in-one APP provides English and Chinese version now. Come and check it.

Website:http://www.bitkan.com/app
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/app/bitcoin-kan/id1004852205?mt=8&uo=4
Google play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btckan.app

Leave comments below, let me know what's your favorite News App and media!

Seems the app is so good for me from considering about your explanation but I think will better for me waiting for the another testimony from the another member is trying for using your app. Wishing the apps will running for smoothly.
8375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why trading volume is so low now? on: September 09, 2016, 05:58:02 AM
Now the volume looks increased at exchanges, I think people have started to buy more bitcoins, and because of that the value of bitcoin started to increase, and in turn peoples interest will be increased more
yes after crossing the 600$ there is a little increase in the volume of bitcoin, in previous days the price of bitcoin become so slow because of the bifinex issue, that really effect the price of bitcoin, people were not taking interest in and just try to continue safe mood.

Current market show a promising bullish , and people start interested to go invest again.
Some rumours say that bitfinex hack is the reason people prefer to hold a little amount bitcoin in the third party such as exchange.
But I don't think it is affected too much to bitcoin volume,  it is might because people just keep holding without keep buying at this point?
But i think in this time the people will more interested for using alternative than using bitcoin and that is reflection by the currently situation of bitcoin, But large or not about the bitfinex cases is giving some percentage of fear by the people for trying keep in the 3rd parties again.
8376  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 1 Confirmation versus 6 on: September 09, 2016, 05:46:25 AM
your question does not belong here, move it to Development & Technical Discussion use the button at bottom left

it is because of the risks of Double Spending so the suggestion is that a transaction should not be considered as confirmed until it is a certain number of blocks deep. this number is usually 6.

From the developers guide
0 confirmations: The transaction has been broadcast but is still not included in any block. Zero confirmation transactions (unconfirmed transactions) should generally not be trusted without risk analysis. Although miners usually confirm the first transaction they receive, fraudsters may be able to manipulate the network into including their version of a transaction.

1 confirmation: The transaction is included in the latest block and double-spend risk decreases dramatically. Transactions which pay sufficient transaction fees need 10 minutes on average to receive one confirmation. However, the most recent block gets replaced fairly often by accident, so a double spend is still a real possibility.

2 confirmations: The most recent block was chained to the block which includes the transaction. As of March 2014, two block replacements were exceedingly rare, and a two block replacement attack was impractical without expensive mining equipment.

6 confirmations: The network has spent about an hour working to protect the transaction against double spends and the transaction is buried under six blocks. Even a reasonably lucky attacker would require a large percentage of the total network hashing power to replace six blocks. Although this number is somewhat arbitrary, software handling high-value transactions, or otherwise at risk for fraud, should wait for at least six confirmations before treating a payment as accepted.

bottom point.
if the transaction is small and the sender is trusted 1 confirmation is enough.

if the transaction is big or the sender is not-known 6+ confirmation is a better choice
That's is very complete, thanks your link it's also very usefull for me.  Wink Bookmark it.
8377  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: September 09, 2016, 02:41:26 AM
Bitcoin is recovering from bitfinex issue, and those should end on this month, and the current price for sure is the whales forcing it to keep lower soo they can make easy income. Bitcoin will and must readjust its value till end the year.

I think so too. The bitcon Price is recovering from the $500 lows 2 weeks ago. As Long as Bitcoins remain above $500 we are good. No Point in Panic selling right now. Better to hold your coins and wait for higher Prices again.

For sure  bitcoins price would recover from the hacking issue even though  bitcoin suffer from price drop but its not time to panic sell instead we must  see this as an opportunity to buy more coins because we would definitely  gain profit in the future when bitcoins price is starting to rise up again for sure.
you are right, it always recovers no matter long in my opinion it is impossible for the price to go only down and never up
The impact of the cases just standing in a short time in my minds and I think and at the same time for the traders, it's can become a good moment.
learning from some cases in bitcoin and eth the impact just standing for few time and after that, the price will recovering with their selves.
8378  Economy / Economics / Re: Is silver a good store of value? on: September 09, 2016, 02:34:17 AM
I don't think silver will be as useful as gold, since gold can be used in electronics and other uses,
but silver will still always have some value, and has had slight gains recently.

I'm sure its a pretty safe investment. I don't see the value going down, but you probably won't get a huge return on your investment.
If you are okay with a slight profit its definitely solid.

silver has very similar properties as gold and is also used a lot in electronics and other applications.

silver is also a pretty reliable store of value. and much cheaper to get into than gold.

But I think it's not having differences than using gold, but I think the silver rate is more sensitive comparing than gold and gold is always in front of than silver. Correct me if I'm wrong.
8379  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Someone told me HASHOCEAN is coming back on: September 09, 2016, 02:23:10 AM
hashocean never is back
because hashocean is scam and owner hashocean is run capital money investor
so can't back and never paid again
I think they can back anytime, and the example is the passed day they back with sending a scam email for their member and again there are a people is still believe with that and I think anytime they can back again but just be aware with the another method of their use for scamming the another people.
8380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: September 08, 2016, 11:58:29 PM
Trading is not unpredictable you need to have allot of luck because the price you will never know what it will do and that is not the only reason why trading is not predctable.
And what's your final point, that is an unpredictable or predictable job? your answer is very vague, trading is not unpredictable job or not predictable jobs? Huh
