8361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: June 26, 2017, 10:24:29 AM
Buy low,.... the problem at which low.
Buy high at which high.

Perhaps you should change your post to: "Buy low, sell high". But I agree with what you wrote. We need to decide at which point we should sell them. How much percentage of profit is enough for us? For some 10% or 20% may be enough. Some others may aim for 50% or more. And there will be some who are hoping for 1,000% returns.

My strategy will be something like this:

25% will be sold at 25% profit
25% will be sold at 50% profit
25% will be sold at 100% profit
25% to be held for long term
8362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: June 26, 2017, 10:21:11 AM
Right now Bitcoin and the alts are going down. BTC is down by around 5%, and Ether is down by 15%. Previously, whenever they went down, they have recovered in a time period of around 5-6 days. Ether looks quite promising right now. If it dips below BTC0.10, then this may be a good opportunity to convert some of your BTC to ETH.
8363  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: June 26, 2017, 10:18:44 AM
Every religion wants to subdue as many people as possible. And does it in many ways - a promise to find happiness, intimidation, or in other ways. Islam uses a method of intimidation and a call to war against those who oppose this religion. This is the reason that believers are sometimes aggressively opposed to other religions

Being a Hindu, I have to say that this expansionist mindset is limited to the Semitic religions, such as Islam and Christianity. Oriental religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism gives a lot of respect to the other religion. Perhaps that is the reason why they are losing followers to aggressive religions such as Islam and Christianity.

Where I live, some people do eat dogs (especially the Nagas), although it is rare. But I don't have anything against them. Dogs are just like any other animal. If we can kill buffaloes and goats for food, then why not dogs? Also, I am not very fond of the dogs. In India, they cause more than 10,000 deaths every year (mostly children and the elderly).
8365  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why most products now are made in China? can we trust these products? on: June 26, 2017, 10:14:03 AM
It is wrong to say that the Chinese products are of poor quality. I am using a Xiaomi smartphone right now, and it is working perfectly fine. It won't be as good as the Apple iPhone, but it comes quite close. And if you look at the price, then an iPhone with similar specifications is going to cost at least 6 times more than this Xiaomi phone.
8366  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: June 23, 2017, 11:47:17 AM
Like many powerful currencies in the past, USD may fall to ground too, my question is will that effect BTC value? Or is it independent of all other real world or non digital currencies of the world?

The chances are quite low. The United States Dollar is only going to "fall to the ground", if some catastrophe befalls on the American economy. Can you imagine a world without the USD? It will be impossible to conduct the international trade, and the Forex sector will be in complete chaos. Even the national debt of almost all the nations are denominated in the USD.
8367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High school dropout who invested in bitcoin is now a millionaire at 18 on: June 23, 2017, 11:44:09 AM
This is what happens when you have intelligent friends, who talk to you about new technology such as Bitcoin. Unfortunately for me, no one told me about Bitcoins when the prices were low. Else, I could have become a millionaire by now.  Grin

Yeah, anyone had an opportunity. Unfortunately most saw bitcoin as just a virtual currency, nothing else. Nobody saw what it was capable of until the 2013 price hike which everyone knows and talks about. That was the first mainstream media appearance ever.

To be honest, I first heard about Bitcoins only in 2013. Before that I never heard about it in the media or from the friends. And even when I heard about it for the first time in 2013, I thought that Bitcoin was some sort of an elaborate ponzi scheme. It took me another 3 years to convince myself to collect BTC.
8368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins rise after the bubble on: June 23, 2017, 11:41:01 AM
Of course, it will rise!
Bitcoin is not going to supplant governments or bring down the banks. But as the hype around the digital currency subsides, banks and entrepreneurs are trying to use bitcoin in ways that could revolutionise the banking industry. Tongue

It is not going to bring down the governments. But it can bring down at last some of the major banks and companies such as Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. I admit that it is still too early to dream about Bitcoin dominating the world, but if we can achieve this much in such a short period of time, then nothing will be impossible within a decade or two.

8370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 23, 2017, 11:00:08 AM
For the past few weeks, the market caps of Ethereum and Bitcoin have remained almost similar in size. No one knows which one of them will win in the end. If SegWit is implemented, then the chances are that Bitcoin will emerge as the dominant currency, and Ether will fade in to oblivion. But if some bug is found with SegWit, or if it can't be activated, then ETH will be having a good shot at the top position.
8371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legalization in India....incoming price inflation! on: June 23, 2017, 10:56:01 AM
Is it possible to confirm this news from reliable sources? I am a resident of India and I don't think that the government will legalize Bitcoin that easily. Tax evasion is a big issue here, and the government authorities view Bitcoin as a medium which can be used for this purpose.
8372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: June 23, 2017, 10:53:10 AM
I am quite disappointed that no one told me about Bitcoin in 2010 or 2011, when the Bitcoin prices were quite low. Now the prices have already reached four digits and it may be a bit late for investing in Bitcoin. But even now, I believe that Bitcoins will give better returns when compared to equities and bullion.
8373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: June 23, 2017, 10:50:36 AM
My guess is that Craig Steven Wright is the real Satoshi. He even claimed that he will prove the identity, but backed out probably due to concerns about the cops arresting him. I am still not 100% sure about it, but looking at his qualifications and skills, I can say that he is capable of inventing something like Bitcoins.
8374  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2017, 10:48:02 AM
I am collecting Bitcoins right now, because I know that in the future it will go up very significantly. I will sell my coins once they reach $100,000 per coin, and I am ready to wait for 10 or even 15 years so that this target can be achieved.
8375  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the next BTC bubble be... (after this pops) on: June 21, 2017, 05:56:23 PM
In my opinion, the only bubble is with the altcoins. I believe that the Bitcoin is actually under-valued. So if the SegWit implementation goes ahead as planned, Bitcoin is going to hit $10,000 per coin without much trouble. The next real bubble may occur at $25,000.
8376  Economy / Speculation / Re: India to legalize bitcoin on: June 21, 2017, 05:52:43 PM
Need confirmation on this. I am residing in India, and none of the mainstream media channels have covered this news. And I can't trust Coin Telegraph, because they are famous for spreading rumors and fake news.

8377  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 21, 2017, 05:50:27 PM
Everyear if you want to become instant millionaire the number of bitcoin decrease. From ten thousands to thousands to hundreds . I hope i will become instant millionaire soon . As of now for sure many people instant millionaire because of the price.

That is true. In January 2016, around BTC5,000 was needed to become a Bitcoin millionaire. But now, just around BTC370 is needed to become one. And who knows? In future this amount will be in double digits.
8378  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: June 21, 2017, 05:48:18 PM
Here is my methodology to double your money using BTC:

1. Invest whatever amount of fiat which you want to invest in BTC. Let's say $100 or $500.
2. Wait until the exchange rates increase by 100%.
3. Convert your coins back to fiat, at 100% profit.

Quite simple. Isn't it?  Grin
8379  Economy / Economics / Re: Coin market caps vs. National GDPs on: June 21, 2017, 05:45:37 PM
Rather than comparing with national GDPs, we should be comparing the crypto-currency market caps with those of the fiat currencies. For example, the Bitcoin market cap can be compared with that of the United States Dollar. But then, almost all of the USD is freely circulating, while large amounts of Bitcoins are being stored in cold storage.
8380  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my bitcoins ? on: June 21, 2017, 05:26:59 PM
Other than Bitify (which was earlier known as CryptoThrift), I don't use any online shopping site which directly accept Bitcoins. If you are fond of electronics and computer parts, then you can give Overstock a try.
