2nd Test between Bangla vs WI have started and Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat. AT the end of days play they are in a strong position with 259/5. If they can reach anywhere 375+ will be a good score as they would be able to get WI out within 300 or less runs and will have have some lead in first inning to put pressure back on WI.

Right now they are at 428/8. Remember that Bangladesh had won the first test by 64 runs. This is the second test and as of now it looks like WI may not be able to win it. It may be either a victory for the BAN or a draw. That means that the test series is won by Bangladesh.

They are now at 457/8. Say if Bangladesh make around 500 and if can get WI all out in 300 or so and decide to bat again and make 200 with a lead of 200 which is 400 runs on bard in 4th inning chasing is difficult. So WI will be always under pressure from here it seems considering their only hope is that couple of batsman can make century which will only help them to draw the match.

Bangladesh posted 508 for allout and West Indies are 75/5, actually they were 29/5 but this last pair is going good but even then i think they cannot avoid the follow on and Bangladesh will take full chances to finish the match before 4 days and win it by one innings. West Indies are playing very poor match.

I agree as I can't see the WI making 200+ runs even though Shimron Hetmyer and Shane Dowrich are batting well. Once one of these two is out the rest will crumble as the WI have a very poor lower order batting average. Bangladesh will win this test match and also win the series which they deserve as they have been the better team this series.

I was expecting that atleast they will push to 4th day but West indies lost 2nd innings in 3rd day itself and this test match finished in 3 days. Very poor form. As their all main players are busy in playing country tournaments in shorter format and they are no more interested in playing for their Country. Bangladesh always been king in their home ground and they won the test series with 2-0
You were expecting too much from this West Indies team. They are all playing a test match in T-20 mindset. Only one good thing comes out from this match that IPL franchise will buy hetmyer in a million dollar.

Haha that's what I thought when I checked the scoreboard. he hits 10 sixes in this match.

According to his journal and emails, it's very clear that he was on a suicide mission due to his religious beliefs.
can he be called a radical?
in some cases Muslim suicide bombings say that the person who blew himself up with the bomb was radical
but, that way can the missionary be said to be radical because he wants to die because of religious beliefs?

If radical means only Muslim suicide bomber then no he's not radical. but that's not the case here because he was too brainwashed by one missionary group named "All nation"
Quote

And, as af_newbie pointed out and summarized well
Quote
"Christian brainwashing at its best"

If you look at the bigger picture, then both are radical but with a very different approach. One group want to establish Caliphate rule in the world with violence, and other groups want to develop a kingdom of Jesus in the world with Money and to exploit the misery of helpless people. Both have a superiority complex.

One holds guns along with the holy book and committed to destroying civilization and the second group with a Holy Book encourages to kill a soul/belief system of other society/individual and thousands of years of culture. which one is more dangerous its another long debate.

https://www.opindia.com/2018/08/missionary-bigotry-of-targeting-vulnerable-people-during-calamities-must-be-called-out/

https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2017/aug/15/they-use-money-to-promote-christianity-nepal-battle-for-souls

Both ideologies ( and its right for all doctrine to some extent be it political, religious, atheist, culture, etc.) failed to understand that the world is beautiful only because of our differences, and we all are very different from each other in terms of religion, faith, culture, color, race, etc and we should embrace our differences.

If someone wants to destroy the following difference and paint all humanity in a single stroke with their ideology, then they are dangerous to the world and we can at least try to maintain the balance.

Is there any future of Cryptocurrency in India ?

Nope! I don't see much hope for cryptos in India under the current backward thinking government. The current government is busy building temples and statues apart from building schools and hospitals. This government is busy changing the names of various places apsrt from looking at the infrastructures of those areas. I don't have any hope for cryptos under such government.

The only hope is that it's not easy to stop cryptos, so people will continue using it for their own benefits.

Bhai itna negative na ho Roll Eyes crypto kahin na jane wala yahan se. Indian adopt any tech very slowly but when we do, we do for good.  I agreed ki kachra bhi bahut hai but apna hi kachra hai aur yeh hame hi saaf karna hai.

Rahi baat government ki toh yeh government theek lagti hai agar opposition ko dekhoge toh. Imagina Rahul becoming Pm here with Mahagathbandhan (the grand alliance)

Beside everything, they have been isolated for so long that going in there now, brings very high risk to wipe the island clean with some relatively common deases like a seasonal flu.

Wipe the island clean?

Sounds interesting. I'm having some trouble getting sympathetic to these savages. Bows and arrows and solving problems by killing people.

Maybe a nice resort could go there?

Piggy and other poster are right when they say that tribe is not immune to the common virus. You/We don't have to be sympathetic to these tribesmen but we can at least let them live their lives in peace. that's why Indian gov do not interfere in their way of living. their population is already declining.

I still don't get why this is news. It's not the first time this tribe has killed off people coming close to them. India has declared them a protected area by law. There were no charges filed with these two deaths. I think it's just distraction from the Trump shit.

He was a Christian Missionary. that's the only reason i can think of right now.

Sad story nevertheless.   I blame his parents and his friends for not helping him get out of his religious delusion.

Feel sad for this young man (John Chau) and his family. But his religious beliefs and stupid act got him killed when he thought that he should preach the gospel and convert The Sentinelese people to Christianity so they can be saved.

He repeatedly tried to enter the island which is banned by Indian Gov for any tourists and local people. He forgets that its one of the oldest surviving and isolated tribe on Earth and they don't need saving from anyone. https://www.survivalinternational.org/campaigns/mostisolated

According to his journal and emails, it's very clear that he was on a suicide mission due to his religious beliefs.

The sad part is his body still on the island, chances are it can't be recovered and some Christian group naming him as a ‘Martyr’

Another sad news!  Recently one of my friend's cousin went to the USA for his study and his family + all relatives lectured/schooled him about how to interact with US Police due to Gun violence from random shooter or Police. it says a lot.

@Flying Hellfish watch out someone will come here with another report "where a white person killed by police just like this case" unfortunately for them 2 wrongs make a right.

@Spendulus:  I meant to say that if some kind of war happens in the future over any issue.(not on the basis of this killing! sorry for the confusion) Saudi Arabia vs Western country(Christian) or Hindus/Jews. the reason I mentioned religion here because Saudi Arabia has a key to holy places "Mecca and Medina" All they have to do is Shout " Islam is in Danger" and I can bet my life on this when I say this, Muslims around the world go bonkers on this and significant amount of people will join them for this so-called Jihad.

...

Well, yah. Islam is a decentralized network with no definitive power structure. Any FATWA crap or similar assertion might well be picked up by some small percentage world wide.

Incidentally, I am an atheist but being such have a clear view of many religious concepts.

It is not logical or practical for a religion to view "places as holy."

With due respect to your opinion but you are wrong when you used the words " decentralized " and "No definitive power structure" with Islam

Koran = is Centralized and according to Muslims its perfect, there is no space for any improvement not even any sort of discussion. because its word of supreme power Allah told by Mohammad ( he's considered, perfect man )

If by any chance some rational Muslims managed to bring Koran 2.0 version then its blasphemy. But would like to see Koran 2.0 in the future.

Allah = Everything revolves around only Allah and Allah wants complete submission and there is no cheat code in this process. That's why we don't see many ex Muslim publicly comes in the limelight. Even a good amount of ex Muslims do not tell their loved ones about their beliefs.

I agree with your FATWA Logic, but these days Fatwa is not as effective as it used to be.

I do not doubt your intelligence, but we shouldn't use Logical/practical words with Religion IMHO. and skipping "Holy place" point right now. will save it for another time.

Saudi Arabia will get its come comeuppance...

What will America do?

Create another monster? Like Rambo type more Osama Bin Laden. We all know how that road ends, don't we? America 2 Allies Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. You know what I am talking.

right now they are less of an enemy than others and can wait. Others are larger threats and it makes sense to cooperate with them (until it doesn't).

What other enemy?
ISIS ? I am sure you have a good idea about What ISIS is and who created the vacuum in the first place.

Iran ? Who overthrown their democratic gov and installed the Dictator? Even supporting him for almost 27 years just for oil and in the end, Americans surprised that Why they hate the USA. Please google if you have time "operation ajax"

They are going to be used then flipped on.

That's why no country likes American's Foreign policy except few (partners in crimes) and consider America a bigger threat to world peace.

I am well aware of all these operations and ulterior motives. What you don't understand is the US and Saudi Arabia are not monolithic organizations and there are competing organizations within them working toward different goals. The USA doesn't have a monopoly on corruption, and international criminal organizations do not give a shit about any nation state. The USA is in the process of cutting these groups out, this is what the domestic conflict here is about.

If you say so then maybe you are aware of this part of history, but the question is, did we learned any lesson from history? I am not well read person so I may be missing something here and you are free to educate me on this if you want but please keep in mind that I do not believe in conspiracy theory much.
And again please tell me what process you are talking about?

And congrats Aus W team to win T-20 2018 world cup.

Group table is quite interesting.

India Beat Australia and secure top position in Group B

Windies Beat England and secure top position in Group A

Group B runner-up Australia beat Windies in the semifinal

Followed by India lose against Group A, runner-up England in the semifinal easily.

Final Won by Aus against England again very convincing win. Bravo Aus W

I don't live in the USA; however, I don't know why but I like to compare Donald Trump with Mr. Bean, and I do find Donald Trump funnier than Mr. Bean in many ways. The way he speaks, the way he tweets (in his tweets, he literally expresses his tone by CAPITALIZING the letters Roll Eyes), everything's just so hilarious.

Australia did well to achieve 132 runs in 19 overs however once again rain stopped play and eventually the match was called off due to the rain. So Australia will take a 1-0 lead into the final T20 match on Sunday at the SCG, hopefully this match will not be rain effected.

Australia were the favourites to win this series, and it seems they're on course to win it. I'll agree rain did play spoilsport, but had the match resumed Australia pacers would have undue advantage with pacy winds, and swing on their side. India will really need to bring their best game if they wish to have any chance of winning, and drawing the series and I think Australia will make it difficult for them in short will be an exciting match.

Aussie were not fav before t-20 series. before Brisbane, Aus managed to win only 5 matches against Indian team and India's winning rate was double.

Considering that Warner and Smith are not part of the squad it was little weak team but overall they have given the good performance and manage to win the 1st match. though in 2nd T20 it could have being India's game but rain just saved OZ. Also India is not that good outside their home ground so even this factor could be an advantage to the OZ.

Home condition doesn't work much when it comes to shorter format (t-20)of game specially with this indian team. They won series against Eng and SA in their backyard recently. And won last t-20 series (2015-2016)against aus 3-0 in Aus.

@vella85 do you have any idea where can I get a subscription for Fox sport, especially for Test series? the reason I am looking for this because I hate to miss key commentary moment as well during a Test Match. and in Indian channels its tough due to commercial ads.

I wish I could help my friend but I don't know any, I'm not even sure if any Australian sites have subscription services for overseas residents. I'm sorry I can't help.

Australia finally won a T20 match even though it was won with the DLS method, India would of won the match if they didn't lose vital wickets along the way. Lets hope the next T20 match isn't determined by the weather.

That's completely fine, thanks.

DLS method or not Win is win and it should boost Australians' confidence but the Indian Team will come hard in the next game. I think Rishab Pant's wicket was the crucial moment. Pant and Kartik were playing well then suddenly Pant got creative lol and he keeps repeating the same mistake, he is young so he will learn. Shikhar Dhawan played good inning but got out. he should try to finish the game sometimes just for fun.

Kartik was in the Pilot mode and for me, his inning was like "The highlights of Nidahas trophy final".

Saudi Arabia only surviving because it is considered the holiest site for Muslims ( Mecca and Medina) Oil is just cherry on the cake. No country in earth wants 1.9 billion Muslims to go bonkers on this.

And all these bitching over one dead Iranian spy!

How many people do you think he was responsible for killing?

What specific part of my statement sound bitching to you. care to elaborate? and not a spy but Journalist named " Jamal Khashoggi"

I am just hoping that you are mixing 2 different cases Matthew Hedges (British academic accused in UAE for being a spy for British Govt. and already sentenced to life within 5 mins) and Jamal Khashoggi's (Killed in Istanbul and linked to Saudi's prince) case.
