8381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a successful Trade? on: September 08, 2016, 11:53:53 PM
if you want to make a successful trade then bitcoin is much more good than other currency there is maximum people are trading in bitcoin nowadays because bitcoin is very strong and useful currency and bitcoin increasing its price too much faster than other currency.

with bitcoin is much harder tot ake good profit,
Hard or not is depend on on the users it's can take the advantages of the opportunities, but from considering their volume in this time maybe the chance will be more in the alt coins comparing with bitcoin.

Surprised to see people suggest blockchain.info *sigh*

I'd go with Trezor or paper wallet (paper if you know what you're doing...)

Either they have no basis of cryptography or they really don't know that if they not hold (control) their private keys they have nothing.
They should go tell Mt.Gox, Mintpal and Co. what does it mean when a third-party controls "our" keys for us.

As of my wallets, cold storage for savings and Mycelium on Android for everyday use.
Forgetting about the people is suggesting about blockchain become a safe wallet, i have a question in your opinions which is better, trezor or ledger? Your answer will really helpful for me for choosing the hardware wallet between trezor and ledger.

I'm sorry but I have no aswer for you: I've never used an hardware wallet so I don't want to say anything about them. You can find good guides around here so do your own research: it's your money in the end.  Wink
Okay, thanks for your feedback and suggestion, dude.

8385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All these banks are now useing bitcoin on: September 08, 2016, 08:33:10 AM
i think i will be better if bank will accept btc .if bank will acceot btc then we don't need to use escrow system and loss in ttamsaction like 1% to buy sell at exchange site . this will be reduce into 0.5% or less .in this way everyone has the better opportunity for trading with less transactions loss

Do you know the transaction charges in bank is how much, if bitcoin is used by bank then they will also charge you for every transaction. i think you have never used your bank properly. Why bitcoin is getting so importance is due to bank charges high.
The bank just charge me $0.3 for every transaction is i made, and where is the differences?in bitcoin you will get a charge in every your transaction too.
8386  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Investment sites for Btc on: September 08, 2016, 08:11:32 AM
sec, i'm just heard if we can invest our btc in exchange sites like poloniex and bitfinex?
for casino, you also can invest in Bitdice.com too, they are accept btc too as investment.

There are too many gambling website that offers invest like cryto-games.net 777coin.com Bitvest.com Rollin.io and many more.
Well, in this time a lot of people is realizing if casinos site is a legit field for searching a profit, and then a new site is trying for copying some features in the older casinos for excavating their popularity.

8388  Economy / Economics / Re: Is silver a good store of value? on: September 08, 2016, 06:25:20 AM
i think that silver is not that good of a thing to store your money on, even though its price seems to be kinda stable it cannot make you money, i would go with bitcoins instead
Totally you do not understand about that, it's not about can make profit or not it's just about the place for storing money.

Off course it is.I don`t know why are you asking this question.

I think that the price of silver is more volatile than the gold price so investors can make more profits

investing in silver rather than gold.

You answer in here.

8389  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is investing in mining still worth it? on: September 08, 2016, 05:52:22 AM
No its not worth it anymore because of the fact the halving has ruined this, you have too much electrical bills compared with what you got.
Its not profitable anymore these days so you should not do this anymore.
The halving indeed made it more difficult but I still think it can be profitable but its not so easy anymore, you need a very good plan to make it now profitable.
Some people are still doing it right now and are making some profit so that is saying enough, its still possible.

If mining is not already profitable then there were no miners indeed but   as  of now there are still miners which  means  its still profitable as same as you said and i think those miners which is profitable is those to have mining farms, in my own view if you mine just using 1 rig maybe it owuld not be profitable i guess.
Can you giving me some reliable data or calculate about the explanation how mining is not profitable in this time?
8390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with a 2 Litecoins on: September 08, 2016, 04:45:52 AM
If you have a 2 litecoins, What will you do to increase it? Will you trade it to other altcoin? Which altcoin?
It's very low amount in this time, and there no things is you can do it with your 2 lite coins in this time maybe better trying for keeping your wallet and using your energy for reaching the another amount in this time because just $8 is not worthed for doing anything.
8391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: September 08, 2016, 04:16:56 AM
Never seen any bitcoin ATM around my country and also haven't heard about exsitence of any. I have used local bank visa ATM machine to withdraw my bitcoin through bitcoin debit cards but paid like 10% in fees to do so, which included low exchange rate, foreign currency exchange fee, atm service charge and withdraw charge from card. I think bitcoin ATMs have cheaper fee than using traditional ATM machines.
Okay, that is the way I think better for retire from using bitcoin debit card and withdrawal in local atm because 10% is very high fees in this time comparing with using exchange site and withdrawal into my account it's will take a more little fee comparing with using a debit card at this time.
8392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All these banks are now useing bitcoin on: September 08, 2016, 04:08:52 AM
Well, I agree it will impact bitcoin both in a negative and a positive way if banks adopt it "Doubt that will happen anytime soon though", Positively the price will improve and it would encourage a wider portion of population to engage in BTC's, as well as possible interest in BTC for depositers. Negatively I think it would take a big portion of privacy and decentralization of bitcoin.
And the fact is bank never interesting about bitcoin and just having an intention about the system is used by bitcoin and that is a blockchain system, negative or positive impact it just your speculation. and will never happened in this time.
8393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ads on Youtube on: September 08, 2016, 04:03:30 AM
The one problem is - bitcoin is decentralized monetary system and it is not owned by anyone in particular.
If bitcoin was a company like PayPal we would see Bitcoin commercials and ads everywhere on internet, press, TV.
But who will pay for Bitcoin ads? Bitcoin Foundation? You or me? I don't think so.
The best answer for me, because bitcoin is too vague, about the creator, companies or foundation and other elements are having relationships with the background of bitcoin and there is no parties is handle bitcoin at this time.
8394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a gift for a baby? on: September 08, 2016, 03:56:15 AM
Serious question.  My baby niece will be 1 year old in a few weeks and she's going to get lots of lovely and expensive presents from all the family, but I'm her geeky aunt and I want to encourage her geeky side.  I'm considering making her a vanity address , printing it on a paper wallet and funding it with some bitcoin, in the hope that by the time she's old enough to appreciate it, the value might have appreciated also.  But I have some concerns...

Is a vanity address sufficiently secure if I generate it and the paper wallet offline and assume my computer has no malware?  (I have enough antivirus/anti-malware software in action and really, if I do have that level of malware, I'm screwed anyway)

And the impossible question... is bitcoin a reasonable risk for such a long term investment?  If she's 1 now, it could be 15 years before she accesses the funds in that wallet.  I won't be able to sell out if I see a crash coming like I can with my own.  I know nobody can really judge what Bitcoin is going to do over that period and I don't want this to turn into yet another one of those speculation threads where people post crap.  So I guess my real question here is has anybody else done this or put bitcoin in cold storage for a similarly long period?

And are there any other considerations I haven't thought of?
About long-term is too bad, because you don't need what happened in the future, it's not a predicted or speculating but better for giving him goods it's useful for him like a doll and another thing is can be useful for him because he are a baby and it's too fast for think about long term.
8395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: September 08, 2016, 03:50:50 AM
Over the past couple of months, there is a lot of talk about Ethereum being a good Altcoin. I know that it has had steady growth for a while, but I don’t see any first forward benefits. What makes Bitcoin better than Ethereum or Ethereum better than Bitcoin.

Moreover, my friend also told me that something unique to Ethereum had been hacked lately. I would like to know what that is and what advantage it has. Thx in advance

Smiley

Maybe after you're visiting the market you can get a clue why bitcoin is better than ethereum at this time, and i think ethereum is not better than bitcoin on this day, and what are you mean about what advantages it has?what are you refer to.
8396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another way to invest Bitcoin without Mining on: September 07, 2016, 11:22:53 AM

8397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk database leaked? on: September 07, 2016, 11:11:11 AM
Even though this hack event was a year old, it came into different hacker related site after someone tried to sell those data in darknet recently.
Quote
All passwords are encrypted, to break down in numbers; there are 469,540 passwords that are encrypted with the SHA-256 algorithm and 44,868 passwords encrypted with SMF password encryption.
I have read somewhere SHA-256 encrypted password are hard to decrypt isn't it? However using strong password like combination of words and number with special character is wise decision with ocassional change of password and using different password for different sites.
Okay, the encrypted form is can reducing the panic situation is happening at this time, but yesterday bitcoin talk is attacked by DDoS and hacker is wanna be infiltrated in them again for stolen the database but that is failing.

please don't create panic by saying something you don't have any information about.

DDoS is not a hack and it has nothing to do with the leak, it is a type of attack (denial of service) which will make the website not accessible because it is flooding the bandwidth and taking up all the resources.

educate yourself before saying random stuff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack
Thanks for your link sir, really helpful for me, but I brought by the situation like the another people's said. and appearing some topic is discussing the leaked of bitcoin database yesterday.
8398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another way to invest Bitcoin without Mining on: September 07, 2016, 11:05:36 AM
The best way to invest your bitcoin is through trading! I cannot say that there is no risk from trading but if you will have enough knowledge about it, you can minimize the risk and I assure you that you can really earn from it.

i agree. Trading is the best choice ever Cheesy if you want to invest then try trading if you do have a luck then go to the gambling Cheesy or try betting games but i do prefer trading at all Cheesy before entering trading is you should know about more in coins crypto altcoins so that you could earn profits Cheesy
Trading is better and blablabla.... are you never think for giving the another suggestion is better than just recurring the people for suggesting the mainstream suggestion like trading? because a lot of people is already suggested about that LOL
8399  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you know other big forums where can i sell digital goods ? on: September 07, 2016, 07:34:13 AM
There ar so many forums like this but this is more something to get your information about the bitcoin you know there are so many people on this forum that there are so many answeres where you can build on.
Maybe will better if you giving the specific answer, i think that is will more constructive..

Just voting about thebotnet and lowendtalk that is the largest forum another from bitcointalk.org...
8400  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin crowdfunding? on: September 07, 2016, 04:30:02 AM
What about this site: https://bitcoinstarter.com/ anyone can tell us more about this project?
They seem to be crowdfounding service which is using over 30 different types of cryptocurrency - as theirs advertisement slogan say.
But I honestly never seen this site advertised on Bitcointalk so I have no idea about their reputation.
But you can see from their listed off the project and that is very different with https://www.kickstarter.com/ and why? Considering the bitcoin started site their developer is not wanna having an intention for continuing their site and that's more like a dead site I think. A failure project?
