841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - OFFICIAL BOUNTY THREAD on: July 16, 2017, 11:43:44 PM
Can anybody from Coindash support help me with an error, which unables connection of my Facebook page to bounty account?
I've tried several browsers and computers, but nothing helped.
I've also send an e-mail a couple of days ago but nobody answered...

I have the same problem. thank you.
Me too - is there some post from devs about this prob ("App Not Set Up: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.") that I can't find in the thread?

Wow! Look what just has happened after I tried to "pay to myself" 59 coins :-)
https://ibb.co/iPyrAF
Pretty weird :-)
And the wallet is still:
https://ibb.co/cUkPxv
Somehow I sense this sync between the wallet and the bank account still doesn't work properly...
The mysterious "other wallet address" is eating the test coins like a black hole:-) As soon as they get out of the parking lot they disappear beyond the "address horizon", although they are still visible on the wallet account. Moreover, interest that should be accumulated from the parking doesn't add to the balance in the wallet:

Bank today:
https://ibb.co/ii3H2v
Wallet yesterday:

They seemed to vanish without a trace in the vacuum of the deep space, lending on the faraway "other wallet address". Hope devs knows what's it all about: I guess investors wouldn't like to see their real coins floating to the deep space without a trace :-) Best of luck with the testing!
This is the whole point in them releasing the test wallet in xcoin in the first place. Roll Eyes

So with these bugs in the wallet they will resolve in the final release of the minexbank. Smiley
Which should be and will be the only way to store these coins.
As this is why it is called "The bank"! Grin
Yes, of course :-) That's why we're posting about any strange behavior we come across (while doing all the stupid things we can think of, trying to fool and confuse the tested system). I really like the idea behind this coin, and would like to see it work seamless - otherwise I wouldn't bother testing and reporting this. I think devs are doing great job trying to fix everything, and hope they're also testing some weird stock market scenarios making the algo sweat a bit. I saw parking rates changing twice during the same day so they must be doing some great job there too. Hope everything will run fine, like a Swiss clock!
What do you mean they are in a testing period with "some weird stock market scenarios"?

We are living in one right now!
Have you seen the price fall so fast before with $100 chunks all at once before?
Well I haven't. So it is getting tested to it's possible limits and looks like it is standing up to the test.
This is some really weird scenarios and they are real! Lips sealed
I guess you're talking about the bitcoin dive that is happening these days - but this minexcoin is different. It's connected with the non-cryptocurrencies, as well as with the cryptocurrencies, and it has the self regulating algo (that allows 5% up/down per day limit) that we didn't have a chance to see working in the real exchange market conditions. I was talking about that :-) I'm very curious to see how this thing will work

I would like to reserve Serbian translation, if it's possible?

Hi,

I'm just writing this to describe a bug in the wallet as currently released (operating on testnet).

Since the Windows Xcoin wallet has no idea about coins that have been "parked" in Minex, it is possible to use the coins in the wallet (some or all of which may have already been parked) to make a deposit to MinexBank.   The coins then show up in MinexBank and can all be parked (even if some of them may have already been parked).

[...description deleted...]

Thanks, hope you can help with this.

Rob

Hello, Rob!

1.When you registering in the Minexbank, you can tie one address to this account and you can see the balance only this address.
In the wallet, you can generate more number of addresses, that is, it will show you the overall balance of all addresses.

2.Here original instruction

How to participate in public testing?
Download the wallet. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1dlB9NaqPEEV2Jmd1hLdE5CZWM/view)
2. Register in MinexBank (https://blog.minecoin.org/how-to-register-in-minexbank-8f371bf6e5b).
3. Join the official group of MinexBank in the Telegram, inform us about your desire to participate in the test and specify your Minexcoin address in a personal message. After that you will be credited 5 test coins.
4. Park these coins and get interest.
5. Those participants who will create more than 10 parking lots before June 27, 2017, will be credited another 45 test coins.
6. Please note that the interest rate for parking will change during the test. Monitor interest rate changes and park coins more profitably.
7. If you see that the rate has increased significantly compared to the parking that you have already created, you can cancel the existing parking lot and park coins with greater profit.

Well that reply was rather sad.  Ok, I have been in touch with the Support team on Telegram and they at least have my wallet address now, so hopefully this is being looked into.

Here is a more detailed description complete with screenshots, so you can see this is real (also before I couldn't figure out how to include screenshots lol)

(1) The initial status of my MinexBank account (already contains more coins than my wallet due to repeated re-parkings!!)

(2) Park remaining unparked coins

(3) Windows wallet for comparison (note I have been adding coins by mining... potentially another problem, to be addressed later!!)

(4) Get address used to set up MyMinexBank to send coins to myself

(5) Send my entire balance to myself

(6) Transaction went through

(7) Bank to MinexBank... look Honey I made some money for free!

[Number 8] **Smiley removed** Park the "new" coins

(9) You get the picture...

Can someone from Minex look into this please?

thanks, Rob.

P.S.  Anyone can tell me why my images aren't inline??

coins just disappeared from my bank dashboard. now the amount inside my xcoin wallet and inside  http://test.minexbank.com/ are the same.
thats why i think they solved this error.

@dev: could you please confirm that you changed something? thank you.
Yep, the same thing happened to my minexbank account, so guess they finally realized what the bug was
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: July 14, 2017, 06:24:57 PM
I don't know what "another wallet address" means? I have only 1 wallet and I signed in for the test.bank just once. Is this that:
https://ibb.co/cgwMua
Balance in the bank is 108.57953312, but balance in the wallet is:
https://ibb.co/iBSN0F
The question was why mined coins didn't appeared on the bank balance automatically, and instead I had to send them manually by "payment to myself"?
That just seems weird if the wallet and the bank are syncd. The next question is, if the balance in the bank is 108 and the balance in my only wallet is 58 - where is that other wallet that contains remaining 50 that is also syncd with the bank? Thanks

We fixed this bug. Now you have 57.20039163 MNX
Always glad to help, hope you've found the cause for that unusual behavior. Good luck with testing!
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: July 13, 2017, 08:53:00 PM
Hi devs, I found a bug on windows wallet and minexbank site, in few words, I can send what value I want from wallet to minexbank and balance on site grow a lot, an exemple I have 78 coins on my wallet, and 54 coins on minexbank site, I can send 78 coins (payment to my self) and available balance on minexbank jump from 54 MNX to 132 MNX, it's not good..

Hello!

It isn't bug.
When you  are registering in minexbank, one main address is created, which you see in your account, as well as the balance of this address.
The application can have as many addresses as possible, that is, it will show you the overall balance of all addresses.

Have a good day!

This is a bug, and it's the same bug I've been trying to report with (so far) zero feedback from devs.   You send the coins you have in your wallet (on your client platform---windows, OS-X, linux)  to yourself and they show up in MinexBank... parked or not!!

[crickets getting louder]

yup, specifically back to the same minexbank address.. but it only works once and can at max double your parked coins

Curious thing: I dug 2x2 coins and waited a bit to see if they will sync with the bank balance. They didn't. So I sent them by "payment to myself" and they appeared on the balance. First two of them I sent 4 days ago - just a day after I managed to double my bank account balance by sending the full "available" amount  from the wallet - and second two 3 days ago (that means 3 "payments to myself" all together). Since I didn't send any amount to the bank from any other wallet apart from the test wallet, and balance in the bank is almost twice as big as the balance in the wallet (106.04327362 vs 56.06476088), my question is: how do these two sync, and should they be synced in the first place? If they are not supposed to be synced, will there be an option anywhere in the bank to "send coins to a wallet" of some sort? Thanks!

Hello.
You have:
Total received   159.60177164 MNX
Total balance   108.57953312 MNX
It means you sent 50 coins to another wallet address.
What is your problem please specify?

i have the same problem. the parking was ended a few hours ago but its still in idle.
We have fixed everything already.
Seems to be solved. Thank you! I have noticed that interests are growing everyday. Is there any reason about this grow? Weekly parking are not convenience atm.
If I understood the white paper good, algorithm of the bank should correct these rates automatically in regard to the target price of the coin. Guess they are trying to simulate different market conditions during this testing period, so rates change should signal that algorithm works fine - however it should be tested in the real market conditions with ill-taught brokers trying to raise or crash the price beyond the projected 5 percent per day.

We need update from minexcoin team,  how about this project going so far

i think, dev still busy in test the system minexbank, test net/bug/system/wallet. maybe
let them work properly until the system is stable.
I believe they work well for the MNX period and for all investors and all bounty participants, so minexcoin can be marketed safely.

yeah, i agree, security is key why should minexcoin be released when when it at a high risk of being stolen,
better to take time and produce a safe and secure coin,
I agree, the Minexbank that is tested is anything but secured in this moment. It wouldn't be very wise to release it in this state.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: July 08, 2017, 10:30:41 PM
and how did you mine the coins? i mined 10 coins. but i don't know how i did it. and support never answered my questions regarding the mining.

Yep, same question here: how do you mine coins only with wallet?
yeah, i think mining shall be by parking, its a good innovation, i imagine it will prevent dumping, and keep the price of minexcoin high and prevent volatility of the minexcoin price.

You can mine with the wallet client. Go to the debug window, console, type in "generate <numberOfHashesToGenerate>"  ie.  "generate 10"
It will then keep trying to generate hashes until it reaches the number of hashes you dictate for it. But that doesn't mean that every hash will be a winner on the network. So you might get only a fraction of coins for the hashes you output (competition with network processing power). Also, note that the client can get stuck when generating hashes manually like that, and if you try to exit before it finishes the # of hashes you told it to crunch, then it will hang and need to be force closed (or wait until it finishes all the hashes). If you wait for it to finish, you will notice in the console window it outputs a list of all the hashes it generated and at that point you can exit the client without problem.

This has nothing to do with staking coins. It is standard crypto mining wherein the mining is performing the action of blockchain Tx processing and validation. So your mining is helping the transactions on the network.
Thanks man!

Rob's right, I've just managed to double the amount of the coins in the bank by sending them to my address:

And I successfully parked them afterwards
But it worked only once. When I tried to repeat the transaction once more, it was confirmed, fee removed from the balance in the wallet, but transferred sum did not appear in the bank balance.
On the other hand, although I have these "extra" coins in the bank, my wallet balance was not sync with the balance in the bank. What is even more strange is that now I have less money on the bank account than the money I have actually parked :-)
