841  Other / Politics & Society / Re: God on: September 23, 2017, 11:42:37 AM
Since most of the topics here are mostly about religion, i too would like to create a topic with regards to this.

I would like to question those who consider God as something that is purely fictional. Why did you arrive to this kind of conclusion? Do you have any proofs as to why God is not real? If so, then how could humans existed ? Do you think we came from a single tiny organism? Which through time had landed in this perfectly habitual planet and started to grew body parts?

Im just curious and wanted to hear their side on this

I read the Bible few times cover to cover, most of Talmud and Quran.  I knew there was no God after Genesis but I continued reading just for fun to see how backwards people were.

Anyway, Earth is a globe, we have evolved from a common ancestor that monkeys evolved from, our universe and space and time was created 13.5 billions years ago. End of story.

Humans made up their gods in their perspective. They may be wrong.
But it don't mean there is no god at all.
There can be one, different from what we've been talking about.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New block detected? on: September 23, 2017, 11:38:58 AM
When I get a new block detected message in my miner, what does it mean? Is it the pool detecting or my miner getting a job or completing the job?

Does my mining reward actually depends on the average hash of my machine or the total hash I submit or the results accepted by the pool?

what miner ? what pool ? what are you mining ? Smiley

I'm using cudaminer of scrypt, x11 and xmr-stack for cryptonote.
The specific example was from xmr-stack.

So sometimes my results are accepted quick, several times per minute. Than the pool raises my difficulty and I believe though the results are accepted every 5-10 mins, my reward wont be different?
843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining rigs instead of heaters for winter! on: September 22, 2017, 11:22:21 AM
Good idea if it works. You did a comparison between mining rigs and heaters electricity consumption?

You can't compare them as they are doing different task.
In heater we know how much we need. In case of miners, you'd want to keep how much you afford.
And miner pays for themselves while heater are just consumption.

847  Other / Politics & Society / Does heredity effect the brain? on: September 22, 2017, 10:24:24 AM
Jews were considered and still are considered good with their brains.
Russians are too considered good with their brain, many successful american companies being the mastermind of Russian immigrants.
Now we're talking about Indian and Chinese scientist.

Does heredity have an effect on the brain?

850  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The ultimate PoS staking machine on: August 27, 2017, 12:09:54 AM
I find myself staking more and more coins on my laptop (within a virtual machine environment). I am using this laptop for other stuff and don't want to have it running 24hrs a day. I therefore considering to move my staking wallets to something else. Preferably a low powered machine with a windows setup that is always online.

I am really wondering: does anybody use a dedicated safe and low energy consuming setup for 24 hour per day staking purposes? I know some use raspberry pi, but not all crypto's support this.

Just buy a simple desktop.
Go for medium specks.
Desktop has many advantages like easy to troubleshoot during hardware failure.

I have a single GPU and I don't have to warm my room in winter when the GPU is running with the windows closed in my bedroom.
And you can shift it to other utility room in summer to save your bedroom from heating.

853  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religion necessary for humans? on: August 26, 2017, 11:56:59 PM
Believing god is there for you is/would save millions of life in this materialistic world.
The hope that god is watching you gives every person a strength to carry on.
If you don't even have that, the world would be plagued by depression.

856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or BCC who whil be best? on: August 24, 2017, 03:24:44 AM
Both of them are good for miner. But for traders none. They have a high value and uncertain future.
Trader should focus on low value coin with probable future.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price fall after ICO on: August 23, 2017, 04:05:35 AM
Have there been any tokens where the trading price on exchanges at the very start fell considerably below the ICO price and has not recovered?

there is many coins that the price after listed in the exchange and the price is down
example SONM the ico price around 5k satoshi or more but now at 1.7k satoshi

Maybe the best decision is to buy after ICO!

If everyone buys after ICO, where will investors come from?
ICO will be successful because of the investors.
Calm down even though trading on the stock at the very beginning fell below the price of ICO, after which will definitely recover.
Like Monaco, etc. So have to be patient of course

It all depends on what are the tokens after. Larger the token project more will be its users.

859  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-mining Legit ? on: August 22, 2017, 04:53:48 AM

I have heard that "genesis-mining" is profitable and I think it's worth investing in their plan but I want to be sure if they won't scam.

I would be happy to hear your thoughts on this website.

I have read this question a lot of times in the forum with different approaches of asking it. So I started teaching over the internet and found that there are almost 7-8 top reviewing websites who state that mining with genesis is completely legit and they have very transparent ratings. The thorough study about the genesis site looks very perfect and it is one more proof for us to believe in the genesis. I know cloud mining could be tough decision but we can't just ignore the reviews by these sites.

and many more are there.

Note: Im not involved with any of the service links provided above and neither they ref links. They are just review about the genesis mining.

They were for 3 long years but now are failing to pay the users.
