841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]⭐LIVE STARS ⭐ Revolutionizing Live Adult Entertainment on: December 18, 2017, 11:08:32 AM
Soon the models will be on the site, if you believe their twitter
https://twitter.com/LiveStarsIO/status/941389960917155842

How people can join their Alpha then? I mean we don't have the tokens yet to pay.

maybe it will be free at first until the token economy is implemented.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 18, 2017, 11:06:02 AM
Can i see from somewhere in the website how much was raised so far. There is still a long way to go but would be nice to see the progress made

Just checked the website, but I cant find any info on how much they raised so far. Sometimes they announce it on Telegram, did you check that?

I'm also very curious. Why they are not disclosing this information openly? Are we old economy or new wave crypto economy??

It's important for investors to see how the project is going. I hope they share the numbers soon, though it should be on the website.

Is FDA approval needed only for medicines and nutraceuticals or also for this kind of product? In case, did you already start FDA approval?

This is a good question. FDA approval takes a long time to get. Not sure if you need it in this case though.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-SALE] [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Fintech, Exchanges and much more on: December 18, 2017, 11:03:50 AM
Will you be able to accept (old style) paper ID card, or only digital ID cards or passport will be accepted?

I don't see a problem if you scan a paper ID card and send it.

I like using Facebook and Google account for sign up or login . Typing password for every sign up is inconvenient in this smart age

That's why we need blockchain. Project like Selfkey or uPort try to solve these things.

I suggest you to be responsible for what you do, choose a different login and password for every service you subscribe. My 2 cents.

not everyone has the time of inclination to do that. if it's a personal profile I don't see the problem with logging in with facebook or google.

What I like from VR is due to the fact that distance won't be an issue anymore. We can get the experience like in the real life when we wanted to visit a specific place in this world. VR is the future of online world!
We are waiting for an interesting future, people will be immersed in another reality.
Nah, im still hoping that this will only be an alternative, useful alternative.
The real one is always better.
I agree. Do not confuse reality with virtuality. In the virtual world are all well and all wishes come true, but to live in reality.

Did you watch surrogates?

This kind of projects believing me that kind of future is not impossible.

At the end, we may all live in virtuality.
From todays point of view, all of those good things look impossible to be true. I can't imagine how humankind will live virtually.

there will be brain implants that modify the way you look at life and make things better. either that or a matrix style environment.

How does that breath test work in practice? I specifically wonder about the hygiene of the mouthpiece if there is one. Is there a disposable mouthpiece included when you use the Health Monitor?

There would have to be. No one would use something that someone else just had their mouth on. Plus you just need someone to contract a disease from it, and you have a lawsuit.
As I know, this diseases (cancer and diabetes) are not contagious. And other diseases can be infected in other places - for example, in restaurants or metro. Though I think methods of protection should be provided.

Just because you are testing for cancer and diabetes does not mean you cannot contract a flu or herpes through the mouthpiece. Aside from that, I would simply not use a device that someone else put his lips on. The idea revolts me.

You can of course make tests for flu and herpes, but i don't think it will be very popular, first of all because you can easily see if you have either of them unlike more serious diseases like diabetes, cancer, etc. Second, the sanitary aspect would be too demanding here and the price might be higher accordingly, hence I don't think it would be worth it.

do you actually have to place your mouth and touch a mouthpiece? can't you just blow at a sensor?

It's apparently done by a kind of straw, looks quite easy and uncomplicated to use. You can see it in their video (0:45)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAbZaK5yR6k&feature=youtu.be

These straws need to be disposable. So will someone of the team replace these from time to time?

there will be a service company taking care of vending machines maintenance

makes sense, just like the coffee machines that are all over town.

Tell me, how will you verify the identity of a person when registering a wallet? How will the fake data be identified?

Please refer to this Blogpost on how the transmission and verification of ID Data works in the SelfKey Ecosystem:

https://blog.selfkey.org/selfkey-empowering-individuals-to-own-control-and-manage-their-digital-identity-d88afc74d303
It make sense and I really like the idea of having the document encrypted.
I have only some doubt on the part who receive the document.

In this case would the bank have some tool to help her in the process?
What if the receiver will not accept the document in that way?

I think you may be able to send the encrypted document with a password , for the bank.

how they will use tokens here? What liquidity of tokens?
Apparently their tokens will not have use directly connection to the network, although that would be genius, their valorization will be given independently to the activities, if I am not mistaken. The concept of the project is good, and although there are others already active, Sphere already has a certain reputation and many sympathizers, which will do well to ICO

But for what tokens will be used? Users will be rewarded inside Network in tokens or what? I tried to find this, but Im not  Huh

I also want to know more about the role of tokens here.

They will have a marketplace, it will probably be used in there.

Also, there is a rewarding system I guess.

1token/like would be great Smiley unless this breaks the economy

If this is true, than how will the tokens keep their value after ICO? There has got to be incentive to keep or buy the tokens?

I still wait for an official statement from Time on the channels, but that's just my impression, because I do not think anything documented that cites such a relationship with the tokens. Some projects only work with the dividend incentives and this would be good

a use has to be found for the tokens, otherwise they're worthless. having to use them on the platform is better than dividens IMO, due to increased regulation.

Wow, the team is really huge. And nice to see a lot of them have good complete linked in profiles as well, always nice to check credentials, which is sometimes a problem with russian or chinese teams.

Impressive team. Cant believe how big their legal team is. Also good to see there is a blockchain engineer.
without the engineer any project would be in doubt in my opinion.

As a scientist I hope your project will become very successful in the nearest future! Cheesy

it will be if the team sticks to the schedule and do their due diligence.

what about bounty here?
everything ok,what do you want to know?
what is details of how does the bounty they may have come up with something unusual

bounty thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2312131 check it out. nothing unusual IMO.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚡ HEALTH MONITOR⚡ | Crowdinvesting in innovative medical diagnostic on: December 17, 2017, 01:02:13 PM
I am wondering how accurate is Health Monitor? I would assume it has 100% accuracy.?

not 100% but close enough. nothing is 100% of the time accurate, but it doesn't have to be in this case.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-SALE] [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Fintech, Exchanges and much more on: December 17, 2017, 01:00:52 PM
what is the KYC for?
If a Singapore citizen participate in this ICO and made some profit, will he have to declare income tax?

It depends on your country. In Europe BTC is seen as a currency and you don't have to pay taxes on currencies imo.

Put you need to keep the bitcoin at least one year in your wallet if you trade our sell it before the end of the year you have to pay taxes.
KYC is the abbreviation of Know Your Costumer more and more ICO are now using this kind of security to avoid frauds and some country will ask for it if your going to spend a large amount of money. you can present any valid government ID for the KYC.

if this doesn't go against everything crypto stands for I don't know what does. what about anonymity?
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO] Sphere - Decentralized Social Networking >200,000 users on: December 17, 2017, 12:32:00 PM
Am I not the only one who thinks this is looking like datum/soma hybrid right?

It has social media with marketplace also you can sell or protect your data. Which can really work by the way.

That's a good point.. Combining services in 1 platform is always better imo. Although datum and soma are very nice products as well.

I love datum and hoping a great profit there but soma is an unknown. It can be great but it can be a total disaster too. Still, social media is a huge area so there is plenty of room for every project.
I think soma is no competition for sphere. I haven't heard that much about soma recently but datum in combination with this ICO could be very profitable for investors.

But isn't sphere more about protecting your date instead of selling them?

yeah sphere does have some of the same features that datum has
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][Rentberry] – Decentralized Home Rental Platform on: December 17, 2017, 12:28:19 PM
RentBerry's soft cap is $3 million and its hard cap is $30 million. There is quite an amount of wiggle room in there. Considering most of the budget goes to IT Development, 30% to be precise, how does the development scale with the amount of money raised?

i think it will mostly depend on how much the can raise during the fundraising ico sale. they will scale it probably down, if they dont hit the hard cap.
If we talk about hard cap, I think for this project it's quite possible to achieve this - maybe large investors will want to invest for long term, and they will get in the end good profit.

it will probably scale more towards IT development the lower the amount raised is. makes sense that way.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 17, 2017, 08:38:20 AM
Has anyone seen a counter how many tokens are already sold? Nothing is displayed on the site. Maybe nothing is sold?

They don't have a counter on the website yet but as they say in telegram are planning to implement a counter for ICO.

I'm curious to see a counter implemented too. i wonder how successful the ICO will be.

I just went to check the counter on the website and more than $10 million is already raised! That is almost never happening these days, such a success, and it's just a presale.

They dont have limit tokens mount for pre-sale? It can be finished on pre-sale?

I think that's wrong. Then it's most likely whales that got everything and there's a crooked distribution.

But it is possible. ICON was sold out on presale #1 of the planned 3 presales.

If they are whales, they will sell after the ICO and lower the price of the tokens, since the bonus is now 30%. As it happens in most cases, when large bonuses are given for sale.

Not necessarily just whales and even if they are, they might not sell right after the ICO ends. SelfKey is a good project, one of rare, so I would say it's worth holding. And 30% bonus is not an extremely high one, there many icos out there with much higher, insane bonuses.

whales don't tend to sell out after ICO. only bounty hunters do. I'm not worried about wales.
