String support in 550s.

Very string.

some known early adopters are dumping, and many  other adopters/investors/developers are slowly losing faith (one of them speaking), Bitcoin needs another bubble ASAP, bubbles are the only thing keeps Bitcoin ongoing.

You are losing faith because you won't be able to 10x your money in a few months?

Extremely butt hurt. He's like a classic example of butt hurt. Probably made some very nasty mistakes with his coins and now hates every day we're going up.
Never ever have i've seen such a tool as a mod. He's like the forum clown.

Bitcoin has already made me wealthy and I would like to stay wealthy, thus I try keep my mind agile and free from cultists' poisonous thoughts who only seek to become like me because they came (much) later, and are intellectually dishonest about Bitcoin.

It would be good for your character if you stopped accusing anyone with an opinion to your disliking, and if you were to be more open to arguments. But unfortunately, that seems to be the modus operandi for many here. False accusations with nothing backing them up.

Oh, and just because I'm a moderator doesn't mean I don't get to have opinions dissident from some of you guys.

It does speak of certain irony of course to have shroomsy, someone who is non stop crying over the market, call anyone butthurt.

You were bear at $60, you are bear now at $600. You will probably be a bear at next 6*10^n.
Nothing so wrong with this, but just saying that maybe you are a bit butthurt, because you probably could be much wealthier not being such a bear.

The full speech by that Deputy Secretary of the People's Bank of China's Survey and Statistics Department is found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/28rwu9/chinese_central_bank_official_there_is/
It mentions Bitcoin in the third of a list of ten predictions on the impact of internet in the future of money and finance:

Quote
三、冲击货币金融主权的概念。在未来,货币金融的主权概念是大大突破的,比特币是有存在空间的。
Third is the impact on the concept of monetary and financial sovereignty. In the future, there will be large breakthroughs in the concept of monetary and financial sovereignty and there is space for Bitcoin to exist.

When they all will sell the new bubble can start... then all these sellers will come back paying double or triple price.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 22, 2014, 07:01:33 PM
So you traded 150 BTC and you don't own any. You're doing something really really wrong.

I could own 15 BTC right now. That is all I could have ever owned since weeks and actually less than that had I chose to hold in the upper $600s. That is the extent of the fiat whcih I am holding on the exchanges for now. But guess what? I don't want to own any Bitcoins right now. Bitcoins for me is zero sum game much like poker. I jumped onboard just in time to catch the last 40% of the bull-run, made a pile of money, and have since found that trading a corrective bear market is a whole lot trickier than an impulsive bull market. You are talking about the next bubble like it's a foregone conclusion whereas I am looking at a long term support that has been tested far too frequently of late that is currently hovering just $40 below spot.

Yes, like I said, you're doing something very very wrong.

I'll say this only once: Buy the 15 BTC, withdraw them from the exchange, put them in a cold wallet and go do something else for a few years.

Don't bother, we will listen to his ranting in a year or two when he could own 2 BTC with the same money.
847  Economy / Exchanges / Re: And we have another Bitfinex Hookey THIEVING Short Squeeze! on: June 22, 2014, 01:42:00 PM
You should first find reliable source for your data. In a matter of 20 seconds there were around 80 sale orders executed from $600 to $608 for all prices, not just $600 and $608 like you posted. Totaly wrong. Why your stop loss was executed at $608 and not $602? There was large market order above your price and when it was finished and all other stop loss orders before you executed, it was your turn to eat the asks at $608.

Perhaps bitcoinwisdom isn't the most reliable ticker for accuracy of information. But my accusation stands. Bitfinex front run and commit insider trading. No doubt the process is much more convoluted and better concealed than my eyes can detect. After all, these guys have bots with access to all the key information on trader's intentions. But I know when I have been had. I knew it before but like a fool went back for more, albeit with just an experimental amount of BTC.

Look back at the whole debacle surrounding MtGox and how often Karpeles had apparently proven that all was well, that Gox was solvent, that the banks really had placed restrictions on Gox but all the money was there, etc.....nothing but bamboozlement. Bullshit baffling brains.

I find only you arguing about bfx scamming. On the other side many of users were talking about gox. Yes, there are bot manipulators on bfx orderbook, like there was also on other exchanges, but I haven't spoted any scamming. Use this kind of large orders to your advantage instead of being hurt by it.
848  Economy / Exchanges / Re: And we have another Bitfinex Hookey THIEVING Short Squeeze! on: June 22, 2014, 01:22:28 PM
What if there were many stop losses that were triggered right before yours was triggered? I can imagine quite a few stop losses were sitting right above $600, not just yours.

I know that there would have been a lot of stop losses from traders taking small short trades following exactly the same text-book rules as I was, but before I start ranting about exchange insiders intentionally going after these stops, I shall state this:

If there that many stop losses that mine simply got bumped to the very back of the queue. Why wasn't anyone 'served' before me? Why does the ticker for Bitfinex report this:

02:00:58 602.29      0.1
02:00:56 600.3        1.00626
02:00:55 608.13      319.168
02:00:24 600          255.374
02:00:17 599.91      0.01

Why wasn't there any trades executed at 601, 602, 603 etc, where there were plenty Ask orders in wall along this small range? Amongst the double and single digit Ask orders that stood in the way of $600 and $608, was a 100 BTC order at $604.99. Why wasn't that triggered at the price which the trader who made the order set it at? I bet that insofar as it was a real order, that the trader only got paid his $604.99 minus fees. I wish had taken a screenshot of the Bitfinex order book just a second before the short squeeze happened to illustrate and emphasise the situation to those who skim read and come to conclusions like: "well, of course stop losses will be closed with market orders"

If Bitfinex's policy with gluts of stop loss orders is to simply sweep up all the coins in the Ask wall required to fill the stops in a certain range, and then sell those coins to Stop Orders at highest possible price before Ask Wall depth recommences, then i am afraid that this is a form of front running and insider trading.

I wonder how that bet will be settled.  The USMS will not publish the outcome of the auctions, and other people (winners,  losers, and those who choose not to bid) may have strong motivation to lie about it, in any sense.

This info will be leaked (more than likely). I could also see winners of the auctions talking about it too (if they feel they got a good deal)

We will definetly see some insider trading before any news (or even hedging - selling if bought for lower price and vice versa).
850  Economy / Speculation / Re: USD Swap demand on Bitfinex has never been so high on: June 21, 2014, 02:49:34 PM
TERA if there would be a lot of demand for shorting BTC would you think this is bullish?
It's not a demand for bitcoin. It's actually a demand for USD. It's called "USD swap demand" is a market for people to borrow USD, based on the interest rate.

As far as I know you can't borrow USD and pay the rent or food. The only purpose is to buy BTC.
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 21, 2014, 11:20:58 AM
Why is every downwards market movement perceived to be done artificially by some malicious force?  What if it is simply that there is not enough buying pressure and the buyers aren't capable of supporting the weight of the market?

It's not possible, this is Bitcoin. Everyone in the world want coins. Wink

853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bolivia Bans Bitcoin. on: June 20, 2014, 01:41:33 PM
MatTheCat: China, Russia didn't accept BTC because they want to control things and are scared to change things that give power to people.

However, if BTC was created by NSA, which it was't, you would wish to hoooold BTC for a long time...
854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bolivia Bans Bitcoin. on: June 20, 2014, 01:38:49 PM
Russia, China, Thailand, India, and no doubt many more to come. They all know that Bitcoin was/is a pilot developed by NSA to wage financial warfare on other countries' economies. They can smell the US sanctions and/or other economic pressures and the capital flight via Bitcoin a mile off. A liquid Bitcoin market in a country also makes it very easy for powerful entities to get funds into that economy in order to sponsor 'destabilisers' of that economy/political system to do their deeds.

You actually believe this stuff yourself? Stop smoking too much of that stuff man it makes you paranoid. Tongue

This stuff is forced by FUDsters who want cheap coins. When reading this quote it actually seems like true.

Who the F cares about Bolivia.

It only means that BTC is doing something right.

What if there is no bubble coming..

No problem, we will wait for another one.

I suspect there is a lot of novice investors that were promised (or they told this themself) to make soo much money so fast with Bitcoin. And they are getting a bit impatient.
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: No ATH this summer on: June 18, 2014, 03:13:19 PM
Yea right about big guys... maybe about very smart and experienced ones, but definetly not in general. Take a look at BIT Trust buys and Panthera average price... big guys was paying high price in $1150 runup, remember $1000 10k wall at stamp and sooo...

I really doubt that the big guys have become bag-holders in any serious way.

But where do I find such information?

No, over $1000 was only paid buy youngsters investing around 1k for one bitcoin  Grin. Be serious, they were paying high price.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: No ATH this summer on: June 18, 2014, 02:52:47 PM
People with big pockets are coming.

The Big Boys don't buy at the top of markets. That is when they sell. The Big Boys buy at the bottom of the markets and in Bitcoin's case, probably off-exchange for a rate which correlates to the spot price at the time. In this sense, if The Big Boys intend to accumulate Bitcoin, it would make sense for them to play on an exchange in order to gradually grind Bitcoin down to the floor (without murdering it) which will put them in a better negotiating position for acquiring large amounts of BTC in off-exchange transactions. Think about it.

Howdya like that paradigm!?

Not quite what you were wanting to hear was it?
