841  Local / India / Re: What might be the reason for Bitcoin to go below 25k? on: June 25, 2022, 04:30:26 PM
I was suprised when I saw Bitcoin falling so fast from yesterday's price point till now. June 12th the price was holding around at 29k, i assumed it will go up or go down a little bit.

Some what similar to June 6th and then May 30th. It has been been hovering around the range of 28k to 30k for quiet some time now. Suddenly it went below 25k on a single day and that becomes a trigger for someone like me who saw Bitcoin usd value at around 3k to 4k between 2018 to 2019 in the month of April. In reality that was the golden time to grab 1 Bitcoin.

This situation isn't alarming for me but, i did some checks within the forum and found out that, this situation might have arised because of the LUNA issue or it might have been because of the global inflation situation.

What do you guys think can be the issue? Let's have a discussion here!

HINGLISH REPLY ACCEPTED
Some are saying it's because of the Celsius network breaking down while some think it's because of the global depression coming in, but truth is all of this is just a market cycle, you have to have a depression to normalise the market after an uptrend, if you see monthly charts of last year you'll see how bitcoin was trading every month on it's upper Bollinger it obviously has to see some depression days to bring the normalcy back in the market.
Do not know how long this bear market willl continues but you are correct that this is a market cycle. I did expect the market to correct but not so much of correction. Bitcoin still hovering around 20k to 22k. If I remember 20k was once a new high in 2017 and 20k is now the new low in 2022. Overall the market should look good for institutional investors if they are planning to accumulate more Bitcoin.
I think Market will stay around this region for somewhile, it will try to give hints as if we will break the region downwards and this will fool retail players and they will create short positions and ultimately these positions will be liquidated by big bull pump upwards or second scenario could be we might go straight down from here create a sort of long wick hammer and then go back up. I really doubt that bull action will immediately start after this.
842  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: June 25, 2022, 01:21:03 PM
Investing is Widespread now in the Society such that the Inability of not Investing, is Paving a room for not Benefitting from the Outcome.
And Right now Investing in Crypto is a yardstick of measurement and has created an opportunity that's reliable and trusted..
But I really can't tell how thus Investing in The Economy will help one's Country.
Money flow is basically what decides how good a country can do, because more money flow means more spending in the economy which would ultimately mean that income is being generated in the economy, basically the circle would move like you start with investing, lending in the economy will increase, similarly as the lending will increase the business will invest more into their business and people will spend more in the economy using credit. So this is why investing is helpful for the economy.
843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Auto DCA service? timing exchange on: June 24, 2022, 09:48:07 PM
Almost all of us know DCA's strategy and for more I quote the definition

Quote
Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is an investment strategy in which an investor divides up the total amount to be invested across periodic purchases of a target asset in an effort to reduce the impact of volatility on the overall purchase. The purchases occur regardless of the asset's price and at regular intervals.

Is there any way to do it automatically, meaning that I deposit 1000 USDT/ANY COIN, and the platform automatically buys (or place buy order) every week at five o’clock, for example, or every day at four o’clock with an amount of $100 instead of relying on the price of Bitcoin
I think you'll find many bots doing this, this isn't a very big or complicated strategy to be coded into any bot, but should you go with a bot? I don't really think so, preferably go for Manual DCA only it's not that tough all you have to do is keep on buying a certain percentage on every fall in price. Bots are scary not only there are chances that bots can run into bugs there are major chances that bots might also not be very safe from hacking etc. Go for manual DCA.

In past BCCI was full of corrupt, political members who were busy filling their pockets. Now the situation has changed a lot and with Sourav Ganguly as the president you can expect development.

They are now trying to compete with EPL revenue as per  Sourav Ganguly. He also has hinted that they will be evaluating the infrastructure which means that they might be working or are planning to improve the stadium condition. I hope they are looking into retractable roofs also.
You are right in many ways but keep one thing in mind Sourav Ganguly is here only for one tenure after this he has no control what's going on and how is happening and things which he wants to do need very long time which is essential for this all. After him may be we have another corrupt or political person which done changes for his own nothing is sure they need to be professional like we have in UEFA soccer this can bring some revolutionary changes and this can bring IPL one of role model for cricketing world.

If BCCI able to have retractable roof's then surely it's going to big success for them and this can bring more revenue and more profit for broadcaster's as well.
Do you guys really think Sourav ganguly is doing everything very honestly? I feel that incharge of everything is Jay Shah and not sourav Ganguly is more like a puppet to Jay Shah. Talking about filling pockets, I think almost everyone who is in governance will always be involved in minting their own profits no matter what. It's really hard to find a very honest person who doesn't do such thing. The only problem I feel about IPL is that it develops the local talent but BCCI being such a big entity is responsible for global development of cricket as well.
845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: June 24, 2022, 09:21:56 PM

It's a good idea actually, you don't have to put everything in the market at once. You buy in small portions so that either way the market goes you are always doing good, i feel 11k might feel somewhat low but it actually is a good place to buy bitcoin for medium or long term. Feel you can buy some 15% around 13k mark and leave the rest of 10% to buy at around 11k. So that you don't lose out on bitcoin going below 15k because below that region any point might be point of no return.
Buying Bitcoin in small portions is a smart idea. Though I wasn't thinking that the market will even drop more reaching $10k, as usual, we couldn't ignore the possibility of it and better ready and have some spare money to buy if ever it comes.

I already bought some BTC as the price reached back to $19k, quite enough for now. I don't put everything just to be ready when it falls again. Thus, if we are into the plan to invest, we'd rather take a decision now, we can't afford to miss the chance of buying at a deducted price. We don't know what happen next, who knows today is the last drop that ever made this bear season.
I think another option is to buy a drop and sell whenever there is a recovery in the price and then buy once again in another drop. This actually is a good option during the bear run, the simple logic is to buy when the RSI of 4h below 30 and sell when the RSI reaches somewhere around 40 but in this scenario also you should buy in chunks only to ensure that if the price falls way below without correcting itself.
846  Local / India / Re: Did anyone read this about TDS? on: June 24, 2022, 09:14:11 PM
It is time to create a new email addres and start using exchanges that are anonymous. From 1st of July the government will be collecting 1% TDS on both local and international exchanges that are operating in Indian.
Quote
What does the law on TDS on VDA, crypto say?
As per the new law, the purchaser of a virtual digital assets (VDA) is required to deduct 1% of the amount paid to the seller ( resident Indian) as income tax deducted at source (TDS). The tax is required to be deducted at the time of credit of amount or at the time of payment to the resident individual, whichever is earlier. The tax will be deducted only if the amount paid exceeds the specified limit, stated CBDT.

Source
I think. Everyone in the Indian crypto community is very well aware of this news, but anonymous Exchanges won't really be an option because in India all the exchanges have that clause of doing KyC before you can operate on them while if you use the foreign exchanges you won't get the facility to buy in INR or even sell in INR, the only way you'll be able to sell INR is Indian exchanges where eventually you'll have to get you Tds deducted.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin will never go to zero on: June 24, 2022, 08:58:10 PM

source

As usual, when the market is bearish, China gives a statement attacking bitcoin and they have stated this over and over every year...

Satoshi once said that the lost Bitcoins as well as the Bitcoin holders are strong milestones for keeping the Bitcoin price in check. so as long as someone holds bitcoins, lost bitcoins as well as bitcoin traders the probability of bitcoin price going to zero is 0.1%

china and other countries that don't like bitcoin will always take advantage of the moment (most often when the market is bearish) to spread their FUD to everyone in the world, but they will always fail because Bitcoin is already embedded in the minds of millions of people (CZ said)

I also present a good topic, as supporters Bitcoin will always survive;

Obviously bitcoin can now never go to zero, you see LUNA as a Cryptocurrency, even that after sucha. Huge failure couldn't go to zero it just came back up from some decimals so how can you expect bitcoin to go to zero, i am not even expecting bitcoin to go below 5k at this point in time you are saying it'll go to zero? It has some blind supporters who no matter what will always be buying Bitcoin thinking it'll revive one day.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A police officer (ASP) in Bangladesh was detected as crypto investor on: June 23, 2022, 07:43:05 PM
He now might think that his government is a saviour who has protected people from such a risky market.  Grin But I feel no matter what once a crypto investor always a crypto investor, it's hard to take crypto out of a person. Talking about laws, obviously cops are the just like normal people as well and they break hell lot of laws, but surprising part here is that even though he has broken the law he is posting about it on social media which might land him in trouble. I see no point why would someone with knowledge of law would do that. I hope some another cop doesn't catches him for doing this. Grin
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange has less hassles in terms of multiple verifications? on: June 23, 2022, 07:38:47 PM
Hi,

I was wondering which of the exchanges has less hassle once you have KYC and not very strict policies?
What do you suggest?

Thanks
Kucoin i think so far is the most convenient one I have found, it's easy to use also it doesn't has KYC requirements and you will not find any strict policies stopping you from doing anything. Even though I feel it might also bring the KYC norm Pretty soon but it won't really be like Binance that it will be mandatory on each and every penny of withdrawal, so in my eyes it is the best and least strict exchange i feel.

Im buying now good amount , seems bottom reached , BUT i will keep 50% in cash in case bitcoin goes down further .

Im planning to buy btc price around: 19500$ at the time of writting .

Its DONE !

keep 50% of my money in cash in case it goes more down and get good average to put orders like this :

25% @ 15,000$

25% at 11,000$

will have a good average price

851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran to cut electricity to licenced Miners on: June 23, 2022, 07:12:05 PM
Iran have been on the support of cryptocurrency mining for a long. Recently it stopped the operation of thousands of cryptocurrency miners running without proper registration. This illegal usage of electricity is identified and further 118 cryptocurrency mining farms were given with licence. Now considering the summer and the need for more electricity the miners supply were cut. According to data collected by Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) Iran contributed 4.5% of Bitcoin mining during the May month last year and this dropped down to 0.12% January 2022. Will this have any impact over the price drop of bitcoin.

Iran Cuts Power to All Licensed Crypto Miners
Just 4% i don't think this should have any major impact on the overall bitcoin hash power, all it will do is give a little correction to the hash rate and eventually it will get back in trend. Talking about price and market these sort of news would have already been discounted by the market so any price correction which might have happened due to this has already been discounted in the price. So you shouldn't worry about the price for sure.

if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ...

I think it will reach 500-1000 USD max as you can't use to sell stuff and big whales already moved their money ...

In 2019 btc was already 9000-10000 USD , do to pandemic people invested a lot  in btc.
Any basis for your research? Or number that you have given? Or is it just a random number? Because no matter what you say leave me, no one really thinks that BTC will go so down, primarily because of multiple reasons, first is that many big corporations have brought btc at a good price therefore they can't really afford to lose that much, Microstrategy and Tesla just to name two, these guys have average buying of over 35000 so obviously they will make BTC reach above this level for sure.

Talking about utility point that you have given or fundamentals point you have given, no one would pay even a penny for a virtual coin it's all about the potential that this coin has to grow which is why people put their money in it that's it

I was very much interested to watch the final decider match between the two teams, but the rain spoiled the event and the series ended 2-2. I would not say that India or South Africa was the beneficiary of this result. The final match could have gone anywhere and also we have seen that South Africans are not good at chasing. (Indians were batting first in the final match too)
The BCCI should be aware of the weather situation in South India during this season and it was raining heavily for the past two weeks and i knew that rain would halt the match. I wish we had a complete match and see who could come out on top in the end but weather had other plans and shared the cup between Indian and South Africa  Cheesy.

Is there a ODI and Test series after this or just the T20 .
I would rather say India was lucky after that rough start that this match ended in No result otherwise would have been a defeat for India.
No there is no Odi or Test series as far as I know, as India is going for UK tour where it'll be playing T20 with Ireland first and then will be having a test series against England. In this time of the year, it's really best to have matches in Europe.
854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why your alt didn't dump as much on: June 19, 2022, 07:34:46 PM
I was wondering why the alt I was holding didn't dump as much as top currencies then came to a Twitter thread elaborating there is no exit liquidity for alts to dump as fast. Liquidity having coins dump first and others later.

It got nothing to with project itself, it's just market. It's better to exist asap.

There was nice Twitter thread explaining all this but I forgot where I read it.

So if you were curious, there it is.
Most Altcoins have fallen for sure, but yes a general tendency and pattern has been that alts fall much more than what BTC falls, and this difference is exponential. So coming from that way I feel alts still have a lot of room to fall. If there will be a bear market then the pattern would be like first btc will pump and alts won't a bit making a bull trap and then suddenly prices would fall and this time bitcoin will also fall and alts will fall too.
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was 17600$ was the bottom ? on: June 19, 2022, 07:32:10 PM
Yesterday the bitcoin price dumped to 17,600$. A lot of people are saying that the bottom would be 12,000$ or 15,000$. Some even think that 6000$ is on the cards. However, we have seen some recovery in the price and it is now above 19500$.

Maybe 17600$ was the bottom or do you think there is more dump in the coming days/weeks?
Way too early to say this. This might be the final bottom btc might ever see or it might just be tiny relief pump just to trap the Bulls further in the net to go down even further. I think both the scenarios have pretty good probabilities of being true. But at this point in time i have an advise for people who think they can't see bear run to get out around an area of 28-30k if btc reaches around there because this bear run might last pretty long and we might see btc and especially alts going to complete rock bottom before they begin to shine again.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 19, 2022, 04:41:40 PM
1. Be patient, don't panic.
2. Buy and hold.

The first attitude is very suitable to be applied and very many traders experience tremendous panic when they see the market price drop, especially Bitcoin is now at $18k.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that other coins are very influential on Bitcoin. So, the opportunity to buy to increase the volume of Bitcoin can be done again for long-term investments. The current market situation in my opinion is a very tough test to be applied by those who are impatient.

Do not panic. Everything will get better.
The only thing you all should do is not panic at all. Worst thing we can do here is panic, trust me all that big guns are waiting for is weak hands to get out so that they can pump bitcoin after everyone thinks it's going to die and believe me it's going to happen the next moment after you have sold it. So best reply in this situation is to obviously do nothing. Do no action just wait for market to come back at suitable levels and then sell your holdings if you want to get out also.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: June 19, 2022, 03:18:48 PM
Bitcoin has broken the all time high of 2017 and now it is around 19,000$. The worst part is that even on these level, we are not seeing any pumps and look like price may fall all the way to 10,000$ or even lower.
Once bitcoin was at 69,000$, who would have thought that bitcoin will go so low so fast ?  Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?
No not at all, bitcoin will disappoint me if it doesn't goes above 50k for next 5 years, this is just market cycle and market manipulation and nothing else. Did usage of bitcoin got affected by any of this fall in price? No not at all, did anyone who didn't sell is losing his money? No not all. This is all just market manipulations and in the longer term bitcoin will never disappoint you.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 18, 2022, 09:13:51 PM
South Africa after giving a very strong start now chocking and having very poor performance in batting even their bowlers are still on their target and not allowing opponents to play freely but batsmen completely fail to produce winning innings after the first two matches which is a big concern for them in presence of some extraordinary players now after this match most chances they are going to lost this series as Indian's are settled and they will never allow them for having last match and series.

South Africa's batsmen have shown such a terrible batting performance in the last two matches, they do not look like they will win the last match. South African batsmen need to bat more responsibly. Of course, the top-order players have to play well. If the players in the top order do not play well, South Africa will lose the next match and lose the series. But my guess is that South Africa will definitely get back on track and win the last match.
Losing the 3rd and 4th T20 after making strong wins on the first two T20 matches of the series shows how bad the performance have changed. As said not only South Africa, almost every country have got this problem. If the top order didn't perform good, same will be followed through the match. India have made remarkable progress, in specific the bowling side have improved. In terms of batting, the players find way to score understanding the bad position of the top order.
What a miserable performance by South Africa, i was expecting them to win this series easily but last two matches were really bad for South Africa especially this one they failed miserably In this match and skittled for just 87 runs in a big total to chase, this has really brought back india into competitions and if this India team wins the series against South Africa there is a good chance that main Indian team can win the world Cup as well
859  Economy / Economics / Re: How come BTC price and iBTC price goes down simultaneously? on: June 18, 2022, 09:06:56 PM
iBTC is an inverse derivative to Bitcoin, which means its price is supposed to go high if the BTC price goes down. Currently, you can check Binance or any similar site to see they're both going down.
Can anyone specialized in economics here explain to us why or how this is happening?
.
If I can speculate that Bitcoin is actually going up in some sense, but it's like the whole DeFi or crypto vehicle or ship is going down by a higher rate and that's why all is going down, is there some economy science or like theory that supports this speculation?
I mean what could be this crypto vehicle or ship?

Yes actually this a problem with derivatives, you might even have heard about long shorts derivatives, these derivatives do sound as if long will go up when prices of the underlying asset go up and price of shorts would go up when prices of underlying assets go down but actually both of them go down because of lack of demand, when there is fall in price people perceive it as lack of interest in a commodity thereby that commodity's price is bound to go down.
860  Economy / Economics / Re: Will it ever be for Belarus? on: June 18, 2022, 02:00:16 PM
This was published in 2021 in the official EU portal:

https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/es/ip_21_2685

Quote
Today, the European Commission is presenting to the Council its outline for a comprehensive plan of economic support to a future democratic Belarus. The plan, of up to €3 billion, reflects the European Union's commitment to support the Belarusian people's wishes for a peaceful democratic transition in the country following the Presidential elections of August 2020, which were neither free nor fair.

Once Belarus embarks on a democratic transition, the EU will activate the €3 billion package, a mix of grants and loans leveraging public and private investments, to help Belarus to stabilise its economy, reform its institutions to make them more democratic and help increase the economy's resilience, growth potential and job creation.

Just to put it in context, Belarus has 9 million habitants. This investment would be very significant.

Is the opportunity gone? Lukashenko has shown that, while having the RF as largest commercial partner at the moment, the EU may be the future. It may catch you as a surprise but there are actual EU funded projects ongoing.

https://euprojects.by

Do you think the support to the Russian cause will cause these aids to cease? Is the relationship broken forever?
Obviously, now that EU is clear that Belarus is going to side with Russia no matter what happens, EU will definitely not aid Belarus in any manner, no matter if the world comes to peace tomorrow. If EU does try to give them this package Russia will give them a bigger package but make sure that EU doesn't offers them anything because Belarus is undoubtedly the most important strategic partner of Russia. So I feel this relationship is definitely broken forever.
