Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ?

Bitcoin has broken the all time high of 2017 and now it is around 19,000$. The worst part is that even on these level, we are not seeing any pumps and look like price may fall all the way to 10,000$ or even lower.
Once bitcoin was at 69,000$, who would have thought that bitcoin will go so low so fast ?  Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?

I don't care too much about technical analysis, but to be honest about the support levels I've heard, prices below current value don't freak me out. Although there are many disappointments, it is my own making for myself. I think I missed the opportunity to sell them for a better profit, but anyway, I am very grateful for what BTC as well as the crypto market brought to me.
And now that the support levels are gradually being broken, I think it is also necessary to rebuild the strategy to buy them back and hold them for the next 2-3 years.

Bitcoin didn't disappoint me at all despite the current price drop, because I perceive bitcoin not just as a speculative instrument, but as an instrument of freedom and independence from the traditional banking system. In this regard, from the moment of its appearance and existence to the present day, from the moment I learned about bitcoin, I had no reason to doubt the capabilities of bitcoin and be disappointed. Any price is a temporary phenomenon and you should not dwell on it. Look at the cost counter less often and you will have less worries.

The bear market has been going on since the end of last year, winter, and not from the end of summer, as you said. I will assume that the bear market is only in the initial stages and will last for a relatively long time, therefore, be patient.

I don't really care about the red market, especially Bitcoin, and I don't think I'm too depressed about the current state of Bitcoin because I believe hearing these two words UP and DOWN can mean that the movement of the Cryptocurrency market is like this, there are ups and downs, which makes me very sure the first Bitcoin Bitcoin is the only coin that is the most perfect among other coins.

So as long as I stick to Bitcoin it never disappoints, I made a lot of profit in the days before the market took a turn for the worse like it is today.

And this latest dip right now is a little more interesting because it has finally invalidated the argument that regardless of when you purchased your Bitcoin or how much you bought it, you only need to HODL for at least 4 years and you are guaranteed of profit. It has now been effectively broken.

I wasn't really expecting the price to go down this low, but I'm not disappointed. I guess I'm a little sad, though. But of course everybody knows Bitcoin will always come out of every bear season not only alive but stronger.

Bitcoin have dipped in the past months, firstly at the beginning of the year, technical analysis experts predicted that Bitcoin will make a bullish run to $100k this year, but reverse was the case. Bitcoin is major reason behind the countless number of crash in the Crypto markets. Bitcoin is currently at $20k and some Investors are losing money while others are gaining massive Profits. Crypto as they say, it's not for the weak, investors need to build patience and be able to face their lose. Although is not easy to see your portfolio which was $5k few weeks ago, all you hoping to see like 3x of your capital. You suddenly see $1k or even less. So the best thing is to hold Bitcoin at its ATL price and sell at it's ATH price.

Disappointed? Not in my vocabulary .

I mean, why you will be disappointed with Bitcoin? Is it because it went down from as high as $69,000 to now around $19,000 in just a matter of months? Is it because you bought at it's peak, or is it because you are at a loss now? What disappoints me more is the people who are saying negative things about Bitcoin just because they are at a loss right now. I'm more disappointed with the people who are saying "Bitcoin is over" or "Bitcoin is dead" etc.

To those pessimists out there, just continue to tell negative things to Bitcoin, since you can only say whenever Bitcoin is at its lowest. History repeats itself and after the dark days, a bright light will come and all the people (including me) who are constantly accumulating Bitcoin when it is down are the ones who will gain the most profit .

Let's be sincere there's nothing about disappointment in bitcoin with all honesty, what makes many resulted to make such claim on it is because of their countless amd series of errors made through one thing or the bicoin while dealing with bitcoin, why should i got dissapointed when knowing fully that the mistake is coming from my own end, this is one of the reason one must understand the time to come in, sell or buy and the time to hold due to specific reasons, over the years we can see the moves in price has nothing to do with the value and reputation it has.

Not at all, Bitcoin has not let me down… Some people feel insecure due to the current crisis in the cryptocurrency market. And their situations are understandable since all this has led to various shocks, such as unemployment, project failure and of course for those people who bought at a high point, it could be said that they "lost part of the investment", all this causes fear … But as the saying goes “good face to bad weather” look at it as an opportunity, invest buy now that it is in a bearish state since at some point we are going to take off, this has already happened a couple of times maybe and it always starts to fall little by little, but when we go up we do it with force.

Definitely not. The current correction gives another opportunity to get another profit on buying low and selling on the new ATH. I have a lot of friend that is waiting for this perfect opportunity to finally purchased there first Bitcoin since I didn’t suggest to them to FOMO buy when price is above 40K level and wait for the price to hit the old support for the confirmation of new cycle.

This current downtrend is a blessings for those who believes on it in the long run!

This.  Stop right there.  How fast did Bitcoin go from $20,000 to $60,000?  Pretty fast, right?  If so, why do you expect it to drop slower than that?

You only need Bitcoin's historical chart and five minutes of analysis to understand this is how Bitcoin went every halving cycle.

I say we are in the middle of the bear market.  I think this one will take a bit longer due to economical and geopolitical issues mixed with what could become the next declared public health issue by the next week.  Remember we are in the middle of hyperinflation.  Bitcoin might be extremely volatile right now.

Bitcoins have disappointed a bit.
But you need think from everyone’s perspective.
The ones who wanted to get into Bitcoin eco system, finally found the best price to get in.
So for them it’s like a SALE and not a disappointment.
My only advice to all the traders is to not sell the coins and don’t panic by seeing the price.
Once the bear market gets over, Bitcoins will start again rising.
Just keep patience and believe on Bitcoins.

Witnessing the price trend of Bitcoin in since 2014, I am not surprised that the price plummet from $69k to the current price of sub $20k.  It always happens within year after the bull market or 2 years after the halving.

 Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?

We are still in a bear market and I think that the bear market will continue until next year. Probably the market will start to recover  a year before the halving or after 2nd quarter of 2023.

In question, if BTC disappoints, I say no.  It still does what it intends to do, the transaction fee is even lower than before.  And when it comes to price, it doesn't disappoint that the entry point is always during the Bitcoin bear market because it really gives us a huge discount.

Not really. Although I am at a loss after buying it at a price of $21k, I still don't mind at all. The first buy that I have was last May around $30k+ and yes it sucks to lose big like this. But it doesn't change my long-term goals for Bitcoin as I really wanted to accumulate as much as I can until we can finally recover and begin the bull run season hopefully.

Not really no. I mean I experienced way worse in my early days, especially the dip when covid started which basically made me lose a LOT since I just exited the market rather dumbly in the middle of the drop-off. Managed to get some of it back. After that, I just decided to DCA my way into trading and stopped thinking about the market price at every single moment. I've moved my mindset from seeing dumps like this to something natural instead and I just let it fly by my head. Not that I ignore it, but rather even if I panic, nothing's gonna change how the market moves right now.

This is turning into a bit of a vicious cycle, where the more selling that takes place the more people lose trust in the longer term future of Bitcoin and decide to sell off even further. However it is going to shake out a lot of people who claimed to be wanting to hold it forever, when in actual fact they just hoped it would double or triple from their buy in point so they could sell it off and profit. Bitcoin never disappointed me, because it was always just a mechanism of payment and it was a bad idea to keep actual currency stored within it. A lot of people who could have been millionaires, but retained trust as it keeps on dropping, are going to have big regrets later on - but they were kinda driven by greed when they should have cashed out long ago.
