841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wolf's XMR GPU Miner on: February 26, 2017, 03:39:36 PM
Hi, Guys.
I'm trying to mine XMR using an AMD 7970 but I keep having the info share rejected, and it seems that no share is being accepted.
I'm using 1024 as the Rawintensity and 16 worksize. Supposedly, it should give me around 500 hashes but it doesnīt seem to be working properly

btw, I'm using WOLF to mine

Can anyone give me a hand with this?
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can i do with Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2017, 01:45:39 PM
You can also use Bitcoin to do a lot of other things.
You can use it to tip someone, you can use it to lend, you can use it as a way of crowdfunding a public project and you can also use it for charity. In fact bitcoin is revolutionizing the way we can contribute to Charity
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: February 26, 2017, 01:03:44 PM
I guess the best and securest way of investing with BTC is lending.
You can use both Bitfinex and Poloniex to lend BTC. It wonīt give you many profits but at least you will allow you to invest without any kind of risk
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not dead yet but should be. on: February 25, 2017, 01:52:18 PM
yeah right... and his ass as well. What shitty article... god damned reporters, they only talk shit, and this one clearly doesnīt know what he is talking about...
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs ETH? on: February 25, 2017, 01:03:11 PM
Hey man if you are in a dilemma and you don't know what to invest in I guess you should buy both. At least I would buy 70% in BTC and the other 30% in Ether
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency is closest to my ideal? Monero? on: February 24, 2017, 03:18:52 PM
I also favor Monero, However, we donīt really know if the early developers still hold big amounts. Many people are saying they do, or at least someone does, and that a big dump is eminent.

IMO, miners are pushing down the price because they have to pay for the costs, and that's the cause of the decreasing value, but I also believe there's someone out there with a lot of coins stashed just waiting for the right time to dump them. And this could wreak havoc on the currency. But, if that is so, why didnīt they dumped the stash when the coin was at its all time high???
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin price kill Altcoins? on: February 24, 2017, 03:14:04 PM
I donīt think the Bitcoin price will kill other Alts. If other Alts die if from lack of community support and investment. With the Bitcoin price going up what we will see is a lot of people dumping their Alts to get some profits in Bitcoin. And if this happens the price of the coins being dump will drop to very low levels which can motivate disinterest in the coin. At least that's the way the Bitcoin price can mostly affect Altcoins.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction Fees are SPIKING ! on: February 24, 2017, 02:35:07 PM
Wow... you just realized it now? Yes, the transaction fee cost is heavily increasing because the blocks are getting full. and it is a real threat to the network. Unless we find an alternative to the Blocksize increase or go for it, they will increase to the point it will be unbearable to use Bitcoin.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: February 22, 2017, 11:16:44 PM
Why shouldnīt it be? The whole idea is to make it mainstream, meaning that everyone will be able to use it, So, yeah, ordinary citizens can and should use bitcoin
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have found a wallet with 40 BTC on: February 21, 2017, 01:34:57 PM
Ok. this is just a troll post and nothing more. If someone were to find a key to a wallet containing 40BTC that was not used since 2011 would be a miracle, better alone the guy who found it coming to the forum saying he found it...
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE NEXT BITCOIN HALVING on: February 20, 2017, 12:35:18 PM
The next Bitcoin Halving will decrease the Block reward by half. So a Block will generate only 6,25 BTC which means that the supply will decrease and the demand will still be increasing. If Bitcoin At that time is still successful its price should go up a lot
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What happens to the Bitcoin Network if a World war Starts? on: February 19, 2017, 06:16:11 PM
I'm starting to get very worried about the state of international relations. Trump is a potential threat to world peace, and growing tensions with China and other countries are becoming a real threat.

So, if a World war starts, there are all sorts of scenarios we can consider, but what do you guys think it could happen to Bitcoin?
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even Africa Have Better Bitcoin Integration Than Any Other Countries on: February 19, 2017, 06:01:53 PM
Well, the answer for that is pretty much in plain sight. In Africa, there is a big lack of banking infrastructures, that's why Mpesa and some others were able to create a market niche. Bitcoin, has made its way through these options because it has a wider application and wider range. It gives a lot more chances for the unbanked to access Banking services, and with this, they are able to leapfrog directly to this new technology without having to pass through the traditional Banking model.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: February 19, 2017, 04:14:20 PM
There are still a lot of issues to be solved with Bitcoin. If we cannot address and solve for once and for all the scalability and bloating problem in a near future, we will probably go through some rough times that might dictate its demise or not.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Bitcoin on: February 19, 2017, 04:02:50 PM
SOMEONE SHOULD HELP ME OUT, I STOP RECEIVING AUTHORIZATION MAIL FROM BLOCKCHAIN... WHAT CAN I DO PLS?

Hey man, this is not the appropriate thread to be asking for help. You have a whole section just for that.
As for your issue, why donīt you just change the password and start using one that it is real good hey?
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Bitcoin on: February 19, 2017, 03:56:57 PM
I guess I'll need to agree with the guy! He really needs to stay away from Bitcoin as far as he can. It seems it is not doing him any good. So, yes just go away, just leave Bitcoin, with your kind of assumptions you will be doing the community a favor.
857  Other / Meta / Re: Is bitcointalk preparing for 100 million users as bitcoin grows? on: February 18, 2017, 09:26:07 PM
Even if bitcoin surpasses that number of bitcoin users that doesnīt mean that these users will create a Bitcointalk account. Since you can read threads without having an account many Bitcoin users donīt even bother to register an account while many other Bitcoin users just donīt care or donīt know about Bitcointalk or just use Reddit
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to change the name of bitcoin if the developers or satoshi want? on: February 18, 2017, 04:23:23 PM
I donīt see what's the point of changing Bitcoin's name...
I do think that the name is already popular enough, so there would be no wins in changing its name
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I dream of a day BTC will be boring! [POLL] on: February 17, 2017, 01:06:43 PM
Why should the Bitcoin Day be boring? We could have a lot of different activities, and bitcoin businesses could make some raffles, settlements and other offers. Exchanges could take out their fees for the day, and many other things could be done. I honestly think it could be great
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: February 17, 2017, 12:53:54 PM
Bitcoin is already an International currency. Though it is not recognized by Bank or governments, Bitcoin already occupies its place as one of the most used currencies for international transactions
