There are many things that you can do with bitcoin, its an currency and also an investment so if you hold it for a long term than you can make good profits in future when the price of bitcoin will go higher and you can also trade with it to multiply it in quick time.

Yeah its hard to spend them offline as there are not many places that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment and in that case we need to convert them to fiat currency and then spend but holding them for future is the best thing to do to make good profits in future.

This is the question I asked to myself also after getting bored of just waiting. I told myself I want my money moving or I want to make a use of it. So I turned to gambling first which didn't worked out. Then someone introduced me to trading. Told me how to make profit out of it with just a little time to wait. It worked at the beginning because you are not yet greedy but after a while it became like gambling.
At the end I turned to just making it like a business of prepaid loading system for mobile phone which gives me 10 percent for every transaction. Slow profit but I wont lose anything, so it is better.

I don't think that it is still possible to buy anything with bitcoins as the usage and acceptance of bitcoins is very limited especially in offline world where you do no find any place to buy anything and even there are very few online sites that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment.

It is possible, but there aren't many places offering you services for Bitcoin. At least not in the small countries that aren't advanced enough yet. The USA has a lot of services in exchange for Bitcoin.. In my country I'd be homeless

This thing with altcoins is the reason why I haven't tried trading yet. Made an account in YoBit but got confused that I didn't continue. I'm somewhat risk-averse and I wouldn't want to see my bits go down the drain in one go. So I just hold to bitcoin I earn. Every now and then I cash-out but I keep that to a minimum. Its good to spend them but the best thing would be to save them for future as price will eventually go higher in coming years so the best way to make profits from them is to hold them and sell when price goes higher instead of taking risk of investing it anywhere.

I think that everone uses bitcoin as a type of investment, when it first started bitcoin was supposed to be a type of new currency that everyone will use onthe internet, but as the time went by and the prices started to rise people started treating it as gold, they save and they buy and sell it
