Between Nagelsmann and Pochettino I think Nagelsmann is the most preferred choice for Chelsea, Pochettino has not had an impressive stat is the past few years having been sacked twice at Tottenham and Paris Saint German but Nagelsmann was having a good run this season having carried Bayern Munich through an unbeaten run to the quarter finals of the Champions league and in a good position in the league it was just unfortunate that he had to part ways due to some misunderstandings amongst his coaching staff and cause lots of tension so I think Nagelsmann is the best choice.

846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remains value haters on: April 04, 2023, 07:54:50 PM
It’s obvious the why governments hate it. They are afraid of the revolution it may bring, and how bitcoin can upset the class system. For regular people who say they hate bitcoin, that’s mostly as a result of the information they have been fed by the media and big tech. When you listen to those who are anti-bitcoin share their opinion on the subject, you can tell they do not understand the difference between bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Sometimes I think these guys only talk about crypto scams, FTX scandal, mt gox e.t.c and refer to them as bitcoin scams to win their argument. Everything negative that happens in the crypto industry is heaped on bitcoin. I think if more people understood the difference between bitcoin, altcoins and exchanges, a lot of narratives out there would change.
847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: April 04, 2023, 07:21:31 PM
Demo accounts are used by trading students as part of the learning process to test their strategies and analytical skills, I think every experienced trader had a demo account in the beginning. There is a confidence/arrogance that comes from having good trades consistently on a demo account, newbies think winning trades on a demo account prove you’re a good trader and ready to trade for real. They psychology is different when trading with real money, when a trade goes bad and you’re losing money, emotions (fear, greed, denial) starts to play on you because this is the first time you’re losing for real. It’s a reality check, and that’s where you begin to doubt all you thought you knew and may end up deserting your trading plan. Someone recommended trading like a robot, that’s impossible to do because we are human, even though we can control our emotions, but the truth is we can’t totally get rid of our feelings.

Honestly I don’t know what Todd Boehly is doing but he needs to get a new manager. There are about 10 games to go and if they can’t get to the UCL finals then there’s need to get a manager to build the players and see if they can make the UCL qualification spot. Julian Nagelsmann has emerged as the favourite to replace Potter at Chelsea so I’m expecting him to start now and do something asap.
Now that Potter has been sacked and the wish of many Chelsea supporters have been fulfilled, we shall see how well the team will perform in their next games. I’m a little disappointed hearing Bruno Saltor is taking over from Graham Potter, what could Bruno Saltor possibly bring to the table at this time? Chelsea needs a good coach ASAP to bring a change in the team's performance. Chelsea will be facing Real Madrid with Bruno Saltor in control if they haven't found a suitable replacement for Potter yet. I am doubtful Bruno has enough experience to succeed against the experienced Ancelloti when they face Real Madrid.

I have reviewed many bitcoin wallets in the past, one of them, wasabi wallet had coinjoin feature but this will officially be my first bitcoin mixer review. A lot of good things has been said about the TOR version of whirlwind. I decided to use the clearnet version instead. There is a five second countdown delay when using the clear net version.

I chose to use the “Note” option because it promises superior privacy to the “fast” option. I was able to reduce the service fee to a minimum of 0.25%, next thing I did was to generate a private note and save it on my notepad.
After that, I was given a bitcoin address where I sent my deposit of 0.001btc. The clearnet needs some work, I encountered problems using the website. It took forever to refresh my transaction, the page just went blank. Eventually it came back up again.

It took only 2 confirmations and I was able to proceed to withdrawal.

To withdraw, I noticed that they require a “unique” bitcoin address, not sure what that means but it seems the mixer doesn’t allow the use of address with balance (hope you can clarify this).
I spilt the bitcoins across two addresses which means an extra 15,000 sats in fees. It was already midnight and I had the delay time set at 3 hours and 5 hours respectively so I knew the bitcoins won’t be in my wallet until morning. I clicked withdraw, after which I got a confirmation text on the page “withdrawal has been sent”.

I got up this morning, ready to complete the last part of my review. Went on to check my receiving addresses, but found there were no bitcoins. I went back to the mixer, and insert my private note but I got a response “this note is invalid or doesn’t have any balance” I did that a couple of times, still the same response. I contacted customer support about the issue and got a response in less than 20 minutes.

I tried again and this time it worked! I added my withdrawal addresses and set delay time to 3 hours and 2 hours respectively.

It took exactly that time to receive the bitcoins totaling 0.00079749btc

Pros
- Up to 10 withdrawal addresses
- Offers a letter of guarantee
- Offer lows minimum deposit of 0.001btc
- Uses “note” protocol to further anonymize transactions
- User can set time delays
- Only needs 2 confirmations
-Excellent Customer support

Cons
-  Doesn’t have no log policy

Edit:
I read this morning that the bugs in the clearnet version have been fixed last night. I’m impressed with how serious Whirlwind is taking the reviews and making improvements. As seen above, I have only one reservation of the mixer, which is the no log policy. Whirlwind has proposed a solution that’s involves selected members to be part of the multi sig in order to remove all doubt, but I don’t think there are reputable members who would want to take such risks considering the recent clampdown on a certain mixer. Whirlwind will have to come up with another solution.

Newcastle deserves to win this match. They played with such determination, which making them the superior team on the pitch. But, what impressed me a lot about their solid defense, that prevented the opposition from scoring any goals throughout the match. Man United's performance was quite underwhelming and did not live up to expectations. They were outplayed by Newcastle, and frankly, they deserved to lose by an even larger margin. Newcastle has now moved above Man United in the standings and claimed the third spot in the league.
Newcastle United were the better team in the game yesterday, I expected United to put up a good challenge to secure their 3rd position in the league but they failed to get even a point from the meeting and have now moved down to fourth position. Newcastle dominated the game in both halves and gave Manchester United no opportunity to turn the game around.

Sunday's transfer gossip:

Manchester City and Real Madrid have made RB Leipzig's 21-year-old Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol their top centre-back target, and the German side would want £75m. Croatian defender Guardiol is on his way to becoming the most expensive defender in football history. Where will they end up? England or Spain?
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has told former manager Mauricio Pochettino he does not want the Argentine to return to the club during talks over a potential return. What happened between the club and their former coach?
Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35, will not take a pay cut to stay at Paris St-Germain.
Messi's options, should he choose to leave the French champions, include an offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal and a return to Barcelona. What will Messi decide in the end? There are rumors that he would most like to return to Barcelona, but can Barcelona pay him?
Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Brazil want to appoint him as their coach, however he wants to stay at Real Madrid. How realistic is it that Ancelotti will remain the coach of Real if the club does not win any trophies this season? It seems to me that only winning the Champions League can save his job.

Josko Gvardiol seem to be one of the most sort defenders in football now and is said to cost a whopping £75m currently. Real Madrid and Manchester City are capable of signing for that amount, I'm not so sure which will be his preferred destination in the summer but Manchester City look to have more interest than Real Madrid for the defender. The rumours of a possible move away from PSG for Messi keeps heating, we will have to wait till the summer to see what happens.

In my opinion, Royse777 pulled out a perfect one  Grin
I agree! Everyone was anticipating a prank from Theymos but no one saw Royse777 coming, which made all the more beautiful but it seems some members did fancy the joke and are not happy about it. I understand the grievances they may have and Royse777 has made a public apology to all.

Keep my wife’s name out your f***king mouth!  Grin Really what’s the fuss all about? You are wearing a signature of one of the campaigns Royse777 is managing. Has he ever skipped a payment, or been unfair to the participants of his campaign. Those are valid reasons to call out a campaign manager. It seems you were hurt really bad by the joke maybe because of high rates attached to it. People have pulled more serious and sensitive jokes on April 1 outside the forum. One should be conscious of anything that happens on April 1 because there’s 99% chance it’s a joke. Look on the bright side OP, next year he can’t pull the same joke.

10 pages strong. This year’s April fool is the best I’ve had on bitcointalk. I hope next year is even better. Royse777 got everyone going, some high rank members knew what it was but still applied which make it more believable even Hhampuz came to congratulate Royse777 on the increase in rates. This was epic!

are expected results in some games like:

Manchester City 4  -  1 Liverpool

although it was predicted that liverpool would lose in this game, conceding 4 goals even with city without haaland is something that i honestly did not expect, that liverpool could lose i even expected it, but conceding 4 goals is something sad and regrettable, this it was a very disastrous season for liverpool, I don't know what kind of measures the liverpool coach will implement so that the next season will be very different, liverpool's defense and attack has been a big disaster this season, in the attack liverpool wasted money with certain hires that are not producing good results

I didn't expect this score line at all, I expected Liverpool to win or at the worst I expected a score line like 3-2 or 2-1 not conceding 4 goals after scoring early and taken the lead early in the first class, I have to give Manchester City credit because they were fantastic and controlled the game really well especially in the second half, I thought Manchester city will find it difficult to win without Haaland but obviously they had no trouble at all.

I read some news about De Gea who was indeed stalling for time with this contract. On several occasions Ten Hag is actually trying to reduce the gap in player salaries by wanting to spend 200k-300k but De Gea's current salary is 375k which is indeed one of the highest paid players at Manchester United.
There is other news that says that currently Manchester United are also approaching Gregor Kobel from Borussia Dortmund. But until now De Gea still says Manchester United is his top priority.
De Gea seem to be bent on continuing and possibly ending his career at Manchester United, David De Gea has been outstanding for Manchester United in years past and still continuing his legacy at the club and has made his feelings known to the club that he wishes to continue in United jerseys, I think it is not a bad idea because even at his age he is still saving United, making vital saves to secure wins and keeping them in games, I think he deserves to be rewarded with an extension.

Here’s what I do. If the amount they are asking for is something I can afford to lose I just give them, knowing I may or may not get my money back. When you look at it this way, you can easily evaluate the situation and give them a answer that puts you in a safe place without having a guilty conscience and straining the relationship.

It's useless to stay at Tottenham if you don't have any trophies during your career, it will make Kane's personal historical record very bad in the future. Learning from the experience of other senior players like Van Persie who was ready to make a surprising decision at that time and move to MU, I think that's a great attitude from a player who wants to fight for trophies. Then Thierry Henry also did the same thing, namely deciding to move to Barcelona in order to win the Champions League title he really wanted and he managed to make his dream come true. What about Kane? he should immediately take a stand and move to another team that has the potential to win the championship. I see he is very suitable if he moves to Manchester United.
I think Harry Kane should have left Tottenham a long time ago, but then I realized this season that he had to achieve the milestone of being the clubs best scorer, a record that has been held for years and he finally outscored it to become the too scorer for Spurs. At least he achieved something which was worth the stay and if he leaves now it is only fair knowing he has given so much for the club in his time.
