I think Chelsea management made quite a late dismissal where there will be no new hope for them to improve their ranking because this season only leaves them with 10 more matches this season. However I completely agree with their decision to sack Potter as he has not been able to make good progress with Chelsea this season.

Chelsea have sacked coaches twice this season, I think they really haven't been able to find the right coach. Nagelsmaan or zidane are probably the two top coaches they approach. but strong rumors from Fabrizio that Chelsea have made an approach with Nagelsmaan and hope they find a point of agreement in the near future.

Nah it's not trap because if you check on the bookie, Newcastle is the favorite club, so it was expected Newcastle won against Manchester United. Newcastle aren't a weak club, they're currently at top 3 position on the standings. But it's really disappointing to see Manchester United performance, they're only have 6 shots and there's no shot on target.

It's just the feeling of gamblers who have lost not a real trap  indeed when watching this match it was clear that Newcastle controlled the attack

I think, the decision Chelsea president took by fire Graham Potter is very good because he gave the coach enough time to prove himself as a potential coach he claimed to be but he failed. The problem of Chelsea is not the players but the coach, I think their president will take time to search for a talented coach that can work on the team to recover from all their losses in this season. If Chelsea can get a coach that will be active like Manchester city coach in this period, I believe it will help them to display well again, because they have potential players that are ready to improve the team.

If I was the owner of Chelsea I would have fired Potter a long time ago. They should have fired him sometime after the world cup. But it was a good thing they gave him enough time so he wont have any excuse for playing so badly.
He was very good at Brighton but he was so poor at Chelsea. All they play at Chelsea was busy football, they always seem o be doing something but they're not actually doing anything. They jut pass the ball around without actually creating chances to score goal. Then there is the poor defending. A team that has spend that amount of money on defense shouldn't be conceding that amount of goals.
Chelsea should take their time and look for a very good manager that can actually rebuild and work with the signings they have gotten.

Manchester United really got man-handled by Newcastle United yesterday. The goals from Callum Wilson and Joe Willock was totally mind-blowing. Totally impressed with the game.

What is the key takeaway from all of this? The key takeaway in my opinion is that other clubs especially Chelsea need to visit Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle United for a masterclass  on how to rebuild a team instead of just filling the squad up with star players because as we may have already learned, star players do not make a start team. They need to learn how Eddie Howe turned this team that was already at the verge of relegation last season to being in the superb form they are in the UCL.

The main question that may arise to the Chelsea management is not "why did you fire Potter", but "why didn't you fire him earlier? The season is effectively a failure, and that's with such an active Chelsea transfer campaign.

I had no idea Casemiro played such an important role in Manchester United's defensive organization until yesterday when Callum scored their second goal for Newcastle. Manchester United had 5 men defending and couldn't stop Callum from scoring, which was really disappointing. In fact, I never expected to see Newcastle so quickly in that top 4, but I noticed they have crawled there and because they are good, there was the potential to make it back to the top 4, but there is no difference for now at least because the two teams have the same point, only the number of times they lost matches were used to determine their standing, next matches will confirm who will take between 3rd and 4th place.

Newcastle isn't a bad team but United isn't a bad one neither. But look at their last 3 games, a draw and 2 losses, Liverpool and now Newcastle. I feel like they are not doing as well as they used to, in the middle they played FA cup quarter finals and europa league games and won those at least so that s a good bright light for them to look for.

But the league doesn't look good, they were clearly third, and looked like they would finish third, but they slowly started to lose their chances and that became a bit worse for them. I would highly suggest that it would be better if they could end up getting better results in the long run in order to make a come back.

Newcastle deserves to win this match. They played with such determination, which making them the superior team on the pitch. But, what impressed me a lot about their solid defense, that prevented the opposition from scoring any goals throughout the match. Man United's performance was quite underwhelming and did not live up to expectations. They were outplayed by Newcastle, and frankly, they deserved to lose by an even larger margin. Newcastle has now moved above Man United in the standings and claimed the third spot in the league.
