Its kinda hard to get a response from him these days.He must be very busy because I have tried to contact him a few times there myself.

Is there a way to get the XBC source?  I want to compile the daemon on Debian so that our pool can payout in XBC but I can't find a repository anywhere.

Can we help this man out?

848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XBC [Official Thread] Anonymous encrypted transactions & messaging on: October 04, 2015, 10:48:04 AM
I'll be waiting on the contact requests.  Glad to see others getting involved.

On a different note... I have someone pulling some horrible pranks via text, but i cannot find any info on this person.  I am willing to pay a generous amount of btc to anyone that can help me out.  Contact me via PM if you can.

Good stuff there jjmv.We are looking at 9am EST,1pm 0 GMT & 2pm +1GMT (I think those times match up so correct me if I am wrong).

On the other thing I will also make available some BTC for anyone who can help out with that issue.

So much for trying to keep a low profile !

I've agreed to help out which ever I can. Starting with spreading some of the XBC I've accumulated in the last couple of months at ridiculously low prices. Hence the offer to match up to 20 XBC for any newcomers. All I ask is that you hold your coins for 24 hours and receive your first stake. I'll then match your purchase of up to 20 XBC and send it over to you. Simple as that !

PM sent

just for the record i am voting for a marketplace of some type on the poll above. The tick box doesnt appear for me.On another note maybe we could stop running the anon and just stick with the standard wallet because it hasnt done anything for the price.I am not saying drop it but maybe just suspend it for now if its costing money to host extra stuff and save up that money for other stuff.Just an idea
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AskCoin.Net - Fast Exchange - New released coins added immediately on: October 01, 2015, 03:04:10 PM
any update on the XBC market on askcoin? It is still running the old version wallet on the wrong chain. If anyone sends their coins there or from they will lose them. This is going to cause an issue with askcoin and anyone who loses their coins there because XBC have been in contact many times and got no response so the ball is in their side of the court. We need that wallet updated to latest version without further delay folks. If you have updated and any problem still exists just let us know and we will have someone try to help you fix it.

Below is the response from Bittrex regarding getting listed there so get tweeting or whatever folks because this aint gonna happen on its own.

Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we mainly add coins due to community demand.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin.

Thanks,

Ryan @ Bittrex

We certainly need more hashpower so that will require a mining pool or a lot more wallets staking

can you add XBC to the poll?
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XBC [Official Thread] Anonymous encrypted transactions & messaging on: September 28, 2015, 06:32:44 AM
The highest vote at this moment on cryptsy is 26117 and we are only at 622 so it would take over 25,000 votes to reach top position. If you were to pay for those votes it would cost in the region of 4 btc? Also that doesnt nescessarily mean it gets auto listed until it is reviewed by mullick afaik.

As for bittrex afaik its 3 btc to get listed once the coin passes their review. The poll probably should show estimated costs of what is on it?
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XBC [Official Thread] Anonymous encrypted transactions & messaging on: September 25, 2015, 03:07:12 PM
I understand the need for trading and volume etc or the coin cant survive and make money for development but the whole idea is long term development and marketplace adaptation?

If I could vote which I cant for some reason I would stick with marketplace for legitimate goods and services. After all isnt that what the whole thing was designed for?

Guys... Gals...  XBC'ers...

Thanks for all of your support through the PM's.  I am not abandoning the coin.  To be honest, I don't want to go anywhere.  BUT, the truth is that we cannot carr...............
Again, thanks for your support through the PM's.  There are a lot more of you fellow XBC'ers out there than I thought...   Smiley

They can also contact you through the wallet if they want to help they can stake and trade the coin.We need market makers if this coin is going to be worth putting on a secondary exchange otherwise it would be pointless.XBC needs a second or even third good exchange and a listing on coinpayments .net to compliment both cointopay and poloniex who are our first listings.

XBC will not suceed without a realistic price in line with its total coin amount and volume to stabilise that price or coinpayments wont even consider it and it will not last on a second exchange without decent volume without getting delisted if left without reliable trader activity.

Also if ever a marketplace or whatever is ever considered nobody is going to buy or sell their goods or services for xbc because it would take almost all the coins in existence at this price to buy anything. For example a good flat screen tv would probably be listed at tens of thousands of xbc.

Price is on the floor now.

Full instructions have been sent there already but it would be helpful to know what date and time and last block he was on when he last resynced. If there are issues he may need to rescan the whole blockchain from the beginning or maybe download the whole thing again.I have a bootstrap up to the last block before coin was abandoned which can speed things up and then it can be synced up to the latest block from there. There seems to have been an issue @ 194k
