Yes you need alway to do that when you keep yor settings.
Can you share you impressions about this build?
How it works issues if any
10x

It was the 1st time that I experienced this, so I thought it was worth sharing Wink
Until now it's running stable as expected, no problems at all.
That is what I am observing also Wink
Thank you and happy mining

0.3.2 Avalon 3 release http://technobit.eu/0_3_2.rar
0.3.2 HEX3A3 - Avalon3 board release
* HEX3A3 defaults: --hexminer3-chip-mask 255 --hexminer3-voltage 800 --hexminer3-options 16:7000
* HEX3A3 --hexminer3-options 16:7000 16 is chip count per board and 7000 is desired speed per chip in Mh/s. 7000 equals to 7G per chip.
* cgminer patch to cgminer 4.2.3 rev e574114682fe1edc344b7e291eb9d9497d26ef92.patch
* cgminer bug fixes:HEXa frequent HEXa usb disconnects, fast work queue restart and so on
* openwrt – some compile optimizations for speed which increased image size a bit
* openwrt – dhcp client added finally:)
* openwrt updated to r40449

After upgrading my 3020 to this version - while keeping my configuration - my miner didn't work. It turned out that I manually had to enter the new HEX3A3 settings in the admin.

Super,
Congrats!!!
Mell Will you be so kind to pst pool graph?
this is the one from 2 cards. i will post a 24hr one when new psu arrives monday (tomorrow)

Congrats dude
That is a working graph!
Congrats to AMT also it seems that they have at least one customer with working equipment
Just for the record what have happened in 6 am. Did you disconnect the miners ?

i believe my Ethernet cable disconnected as the clip to keep it in is broken (on the cable that is lol)
Maybe but not exactly Wink
It took about two hours for the graph to reach from 0 to max correct?
But if it was a falty cable it would take two hours also to reach zero right?
Any way from your setup I see that you know what you are doing, so when you make all three cards work,
Please shot a pool 24 hours graph again will you?
It was not the cable dude just chips which hanged.....
AMT I am taking back my congrats for you Grin it turned out that some other graph is needed although this one seemed very ok on a first glance

i will put a 24hr graph up as soon as i have one Smiley
Thanks bro Wink

The drop in performance seems bit high and not luck related

Put him on ignore, his posts have been pretty useless and is just an I told you so type of post. I think by this point we all got it. His posts contribute nothing and haven't to the discussion. The ignore button just hides anything he posts from your view. Makes it easier to not have to deal with his nonsense. It certainly made it easier for me. But then seeing people reply to this asshat doesn't anyone. He will post because he can. But ignoring him he will eventually go away.
Hey are you getting nervous because of me or because your crap is still undelivered Grin
Any way as I said take some pills for the glorious moment of arrival
847  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 13, 2014, 12:46:04 PM
This is pic of 1 of my boards that doesnt run. you can see the bent copper heat sinks and paste all over.

I don't understand the heat sink configuration here though?

Why are the heat-sinks on the A1 chips so small?

What is the bigger heat sink on the other side connected to?
Because 30 % of the heat can be disposed from one side of the chip
70% from the other
This seems to be done right
CONGRATS.  AMT Grin
This is useless of course as all my other posts right?
CPU and GPUs have their heat sinks on the side of the chip and there is a conduction path from chip thermal paste to heat sink.

I don't understand this kind of a configuration,  there is no conduction path from the chip through the board to the massive heat sinks.

There is the Pcb itself if done it right

In other this stuff to work something needs to blow both dorm the top and the bottom
But this is beyond amt knowledge I guess and it is not their fault that doit folks are not doing right Grin
850  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 13, 2014, 12:18:08 PM
This is a better picture got the values in on this one

is it showing anything like stale shares? perhaps there is a serious communication problem.
Or perhaps this is just a crap Grin and half of the chips are not hashing at all Grin

Dude,
I am sory to say it but what I see here is a total non working crap.
As amt said you probably have the power issue Grin
Which roughly translates in English as follows
1. You are extremely unlucky and half of the chip cores are dead most unlikely
2. Half of The chips are hanging now and then because Amt missed some part while copy pasting georgio massa design  Grin
3. Or they ship faulty boards on purpose to folks like you so you are the one to be blamed for their not working crap
To rik
1. I know what is power consumption you can check my posts 200 pages ago
2. Do not make efforts to measure it just for me Grin
3. be prepared for your cable replacement,
Take some pills so you can face the facts how your 520 GH will perform Grin
852  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 13, 2014, 11:09:20 AM

Hold on a second Loshia before you scare everyone with your provocative statements.

Yes we've said that " Now We are in distress, and may need some help from the community".

But you're contribution has been anything but that, and our miners work fine and you should be the first one to know that and admit that of course.
You made my day guy's
 Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
No one from your customers made it work so far Grin Grin Grin
and you are not showing a working unit also Grin Grin Grin
And you a proudly stating "and our miners work fine..." Grin Grin Grin

Of course i will be the first one to admit for sure Wink

HEY AMT CUSTOMERS,  DO YOU HAVE A WORKING MINER SO I CAN BRING MY SINCERE APOLOGY TO AMT?
Because amt does not or at least hide it Grin

PS: for me working miner is a pool graph performance with straight line for at least 24 hours or so
Let me put in other way georgio massa miners work but our crap doesn't for some reason even though it is a copy paste from his design Grin

If this new cable gets my kit working where would you suggest I mine so that you have the most readable information.

That way you either shut up after a bit of gloating because it's not up to snuff, or you shut up because it somehow magically ends up working. (I'm betting on the former rather than the latter. But if it gets you to quite down about the same damn thing everyday I'll gladly assist you. Though I won't have the power draw specs to give you.
Deal dude
24 hours pool graph with AVERAGE speed of 500 GH that is what works mean. No ifs or excuses
fo instance one of the modules was faulty but other two are ok or my graph is not straight line because i need to reboot it and so on
Besides i do think they have shipped all nonworking crap as diy Kits but this is other story
Wish you good luck with your cable

Guy'
Is there any one who received UNsmashed unit And was able to make it work?
?
I guess that amt shipped the non working crap to you as DIY kits so you are the only one to be blamed that something is wrong.because it is not complete product, because of power and cable issues and so on
aMT
It is about time to show a working unit as long as you are shipping , do not you think so Grin
And some power measurements of course Grin
855  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback on: April 12, 2014, 07:18:14 PM
Ive got several hex2A miners that will run constantly for approx 12 hours and then either 1 or two will stop hashing while the other continues.
This is fixed by pressing stop and then switching the usb port for each miner and restarting.

Been doing this for over a month now, but am heading on vacation in a few weeks. Going to have my sister stay at my place is there any way to avoid the shut off of the other miners so shes not switching up cords and touching things!

Thanks

What have you got them running on? RPI, Windows pc, mr3020?
Time for cgminer upgrade dude Wink
856  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Minion ASIC - free samples and up to US$20000 discount on: April 12, 2014, 03:24:56 PM
Dude,
It was just a technical challenge for you
Honesty and business is other story
So go on with your project and remember no matter what you do you have to know what you are doing to be able to design something working at the end
Meetings will not help you much with that
Hard work is needed that is all
857  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Minion ASIC - free samples and up to US$20000 discount on: April 12, 2014, 03:12:54 PM
Nothing to prove to you or Marto or anyone actually.

When we provide something then you can judge it. Till then this seems to be a silly pissing contest. Like I said Marto needs to focus on his customers not on some phony contest.
Agreed
So you refuse to participate ?
It does not matter for me any way
858  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Minion ASIC - free samples and up to US$20000 discount on: April 12, 2014, 03:09:25 PM
The winner will be the community with GPL designs going out that is the focus right?
Sure but without licensing servers Wink

This design doesn't have to have licensing servers. Does it? Nor does Marto have to release a GPL license nor does anyone anyone can buy the chips and keep selling his units as they have before. Let us see who actually releases a GPL design then we can talk.
None or at least I think so
Unless you prove me wrong
However there is one member of your team who already did it
Hats down to vs. is he a member of your team?
The other one is bkk
The third one is?

Ps fee Genno stakes are amt specialty only
Again there is nothing wrong to earn a bug for your efforts for sure
I do not like the fact that gpl word is here. Just skip it in your next posts will you?
860  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Minion ASIC - free samples and up to US$20000 discount on: April 12, 2014, 02:21:31 PM
WE did sent a few e-mails over last 2 months... No Answer
Ordered the maximum 5 samples for 540 USD, paid with BTC.
No need for free chips, Just send these 5 ASAP
We'll suport the project and will strat a design of a mining board for minion.

@Bick - Lets race ...... Grin Tongue

hahahahaha.... that's not even fair, they have never even produced jack shit
Wrong dude, they are producing share holders and meetings Grin
That is called a business you just do not understand  how things should work Wink
