Amount 8406 satoshi    Date 2015-01-02 11:06:15

it is showing on my payouts page, but not in the users faucetbox

I see that in database and everything looks correct. Only 15 most recent payouts are shown on the address check page, maybe that's why you don't see it there. However I've calculated the accumulated coins manually - including yours 8406 satoshi - and it matches the 0.00424635 BTC shown on the address check page.

Facuetbox,

I just performed a payout to a user, is was deducted from my balance, but it does not seem to be showing up in the users balance on faucetbox ?

Is there a delay ? (last time it seemed there was not).

THx in advance

There's no delay. What's the user address, amount and UTC time of the payout? Also does it show up when you click "Payouts" in your Dashboard next to your faucet?
843  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - free API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: January 01, 2015, 08:47:14 PM
no problem but I thought You could shed some light if it is worth to start a faucet and what to aim for. are You related to faucetbox? thanks

I see new faucets rise and fall each day. Some of them lasts only for a few days, others are here since the beginning of FaucetBOX. So I guess it all depends on the owner Smiley. If you will take care of your faucet, your users, keep promoting it in various way than it'll be successfull. The one thing I can tell from experience is not aiming for profit. Instead try to make your faucet as pleasant to use as possible. Otherwise your users will simply turn back on you.
But I never really run a typical faucet, only the old one-time-a-day ones, so your mileage may vary. That's why I simply recommend you spending a few bucks, trying to make a high-paying faucet for at least a week or two and then deciding where to go next. You'll learn fast Smiley

i have allways positive balance and over 13 500 users who use it.

is this a lot? is it daily users? hourly? I am learning the faucet idea, any help is very much appreciated

I think it'd be better if you start a new thread Smiley. It's a little offtopic here, so less chance someone will answer you.

You have popups. 50or500.com even once had a popup that displayed alerts forever and I've had to force close my browser...
And what now i need to do for being approval ?

Remove the popup code and apply again.

We have watchdogs, we already know about this, don't send "Me too!"s please Smiley.
CloudFlare messed up something, I'm working around it now. API works already.

EDIT:
Website should be working too. If you get 403 Forbidden, please clean your browser's history.

so knowing by doing? Smiley  anyway 1$  per CPC or CPM would be a lot IMO and I wouldnt expect this amount. but is there a minimum CPM amount that I could calculate with in case of 20k +  pageviews a day?

oh how about if visitors using ad blocker? how are faucet owners handle it?
thanks

There's no minimum CPM. My CPC on different faucets varied from $0.1 to $2. Just think about it as an investition. The worst thing that can happen is losing some coins in the first month, but then you'll know what to expect Smiley

Personally I don't do anything about ad blockers, it's not worth it.

thanks for the prompt answer. to be frank I am not a coder. I have ideas thats all Smiley but the main question is if it would be possible to do it with faucetbox because the payments for the winners of the game need to  be handled. the original free satoshis for visit will be handled by faucetbox (as I understood) but who and how will the winners of the game be paid? also through faucetbox?

regarding
if you're allowing the user to keep the original satoshis and play the game for free, it may use more money than you are making from ads.

I am a noob and thought the more visitors the faucet will have the more one earn from ads. if yes so all payouts will be decided by math

please tell what I am missing here. I am still learning and would like to try my faucet idea Smiley

FaucetBOX.com doesn't care what's the reason for sending coins to users. So it doesn't matter whether it's just for a visit or it's a bonus for playing a game, it'll be handled the same way.
More users usually mean more money from ads, bonus for a game also means more satoshis spent, both are true. You'd have to balance it, just like usual.
I have my old script of btcgame.net somewhere. It was a game in which I was giving out 0.01 BTC everyday and it was divided between players according to the score they had in the game. Maybe I'll migrate it to the FaucetBOX.com and make it public if I find enough free time Smiley

Hello, I have a question. Smiley

When you release updates, is it ok to backup and reupload the templates/spaceracket/index.php file?

Every time I update I lose my ad blocks. So when that happens I lose the advertisers who paid for that block.  I'm kind of sure it would be ok to backup and reupload this file but I just wanted to make sure.

Hello Smiley. It should be okay, but you should test it after the update every time.

EDIT: I would suggest you copying the SpaceRacket directory to SpaceRacket-custom or smth like that. It'll show up as a new template in admin panel. Simply change to it and then updates won't overwrite your customizations Smiley

I know about the Google Ads, robots.txt is a short-term solution.
A mid-term solution will be changing a GET link to a POST button, Google's bot won't click that.
A long-term solution will be ditching the Delay/Resume system in favor of setting a custom payout limit Smiley

So many things to do... Smiley

Robots.txt updated, Google shouldn't bother you anymore Smiley

Thanks. One more question. Do you think that only popup is not user friendly? What about popunder? I think its not so annoying.

I don't like popunders either, especially when many of them plays music or videos or even shows fake warnings like "Your computer is infected". That scares people away, especially people that are new to cryptocurrencies, not really tech-savvy and that are most likely to visit faucets Smiley
856  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - free API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: December 23, 2014, 02:34:00 PM
Ok I'll remove popup code. And maybe I misunderstand something so I ask - all my faucets must have their own api key in order to work them, I can't use one api key for all of them?

You can have one api key for all of them and they'll work fine, but they won't be shown on the list (as all payouts will be credited for only one of your faucets). So if you want all your faucets on our faucets list, then each faucet must have it's own api key, so we could calculate their stats separately.
857  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - free API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: December 23, 2014, 01:45:20 PM
Hi,
I tried to add my faucets http://doge.btcearn.ml/, http://prime.btcearn.ml/ and http://peercoin.btcearn.ml/ and I checked them - they all are paying and show their balances. You approved http://doge.btcearn.ml/ but it is stated as Possibly broken, two others were rejected. How can we fix it? Thanks
They were rejected because they open a popup when you click anywhere. We think that it's not user-friendly, so we try not to accept such faucets. Looks like your DOGE faucet slipped through, as it opens a popup too.
"Possibly broken" means that there were no payouts in last 6 hours associated with this faucets API key. Probably you have wrong API key (one of the other faucets) on doge.btcearn.ml.

Any chance of a list coming up soon, that lists service wich payout via FaucetBox, but are not faucets perse ..  (the dont offer a FIXED x amount of satoshi per x amount of time)

Thx in advance.

We don't have that in plans for now.

So, I have a faucet going at http://faucet.661.org/.  How many clicks per day should I expect from this?

It's impossible to predict, it depends entirely on you Smiley
859  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - free API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: December 22, 2014, 01:46:35 PM
I upgraded to the new version of FaucetBOX, now there's an Admin Panel link at the bottom of the page. Is that visible to everyone who visits?

Also, it sends me to the wrong page when I click it, since I have a separate index.htm for my main website and an index.php for the faucet, the admin link sends me to http://makingmoneyhoney.com/?p=admin, which doesn't do anything but show my normal homepage.

Thanks for reporting the bad link, I'll fix that in a second. Yes, the link is visible to anyone. However on the default template you have an option to disable it in the admin panel.

EDIT:
I believe it's fixed in r37 now Smiley
