841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How cryptos affect your life? on: November 16, 2017, 10:39:04 PM
I'm always on Blockfolio, twitter, Reddit, and bitcointalk. You can trade 24/7. Cryptos never sleep. I stay up later to read more about cryptos. I spend half of my weekend to catch up on cryptos and research on the latest ICOs. What's your experience.

That's also what I have been going through ever since I learned a little about crypto and then I entered here. Everything went very busy to me. The hours are now passing so fast. I began looking at the prices of altcoins every now and then to monitor my portfolio. I began opening sites that used to be very boring to me. I read business articles, which used to be strange. But everything's very fun!
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the future on: November 15, 2017, 11:51:53 PM
Do you think friends, in which year Bitcoin will completely absorb all the finances of the planet's system?BTC

I can hardly think of a specific year. But I think the challenge for Bitcoin right now is not when to totally absorb the planet's financial system as you say but how to continually promote itself as the one and only king of the crypto world. Right now, the subject of Bitcoin not serving the way it should is getting hotter and hotter because come other coins are trying to offer a better deal.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is crazy for bitcoin on: November 15, 2017, 11:02:58 PM
I remember that on 1st January 2017 , the price of bitcoin is about $1000, but now we can see the price is already over $7000. To be honest, that is why some people said this is bubble since the unbelievable rising of bitcoin. However, let us look back upon the history, we can tell that Email subvert the postal industry, Amazon subvert the retail industry. Furthermore, Will bitcoin subvert the traditional banking?

Above is just my personal idea.If you like or not, I wish everyone here have a nice day.

I think Bitcoin even went lower than $1,000 in the year 2017. But then it recovered quickly. Bitcoin is already priced at $7,200 plus right now. And I think this growth will be seen until the end of 2017. I cannot see any hindrance that would cause its growth to be stunted. We may consider everything about Bitcoin as a bubble but the bubble is very durable and has lasted for almost a decade.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scanner on: November 14, 2017, 11:47:44 PM
Great job ! Your web site ICOscanner.io gives an insight into on going ICOs. The transactions volume and number of investors that had taken part in purchased of coins in an ICO is displayed, there by giving a potential investor a guide to what in happening in the market. This will help in decision making on what coin to go for.

I will scan this scanner later. But if what you are saying is correct, it has already been offered by several other sites. I need not mention them as to avoid some unnecessary promotion. The sad thing that I observed among these sites is that the criteria in ranking existing ICOs are sometimes too shallow so that it has not really known the real deal of the project. And then the top in one site may not even enter the top 10 on the other. Smells fishy to me.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me the best ICO to invest. on: November 13, 2017, 11:09:36 PM
Looking to invest 1 btc in some good running ICO which is legitimate and has good potential.
Do not suggest any ico just because you are a part of their signature campaign.Give a good reason please that why you think it is a good investment opportunity.

I will give you some good points why you should try to consider ARToken by Cappasity. In the first place, it is an existing company that has made so much contribution already in the 3D industry. Secondly, proof that it is doing well is that it has already gathered some $1.8 million from Angel Investors. Meaning to say, which brings us to the third point, it has already some big names behind its back. And the ICO is running until now. There are already thousands of contributors.
846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your current strategy? on: November 13, 2017, 10:23:25 PM
Anything other than hodling is a bad strategy IMO. I seriously doubt anybody on these forums can consistently beat the crypto market by day trading. Hodling is the only viable way to invest in crypto.

Not really, but a lot have gone hodling after experiencing some serious failures in day trading. But there is a good deal of people I know whose lives are focused in day trading, swing trading, and scalping. The difference with them and me, or perhaps us, is that they are really experts in reading and making patterns out of charts in addition to their serious monitoring of project news. They do not even have accounts here.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][AR] : ARToken by Cappasity | Extending the AR/VR | DOUBLE STAKES on: November 13, 2017, 03:04:29 PM
Hello, CM. The spreadsheet is a bit confusing. Everything's pretty mixed up. The stakes from different campaigns are summed up when in fact these stakes have different equivalents. Twitter and facebook reposts may have very large stakes but actually in the entire bounty distribution fb reposts is only 5% and twitter 10%. Signature campaign participants may have smaller stakes but it actually comprises 40% of the entire bounty. I hope this is clear.

Thank you very much.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 13, 2017, 12:40:49 AM
Just saying... BTC is the real thing and will remain... you know it right?

So act wisely and don't fall for this trap: btw don't miss the chance to sell you BCH to get more Bitcoins - I'm sure we will have a bigger pump by Christmas Wink

I am one with you, mate. Bitcoin is still the main actor in the crypto stage. A lot of attempts have already been done to discredit this king. A lot of obituaries have already been prepared. And finally, a lot of deaths have already been announced. But still, where is Bitcoin? It is still very much alive and kicking, and still sitting on throne. The rest are still lowly altcoins. Bitcoin Cash is among them.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 11:15:12 PM
I am newbie on bitcoin, recently introduced with the community. I have seen a lot of positive feedback about bitcoin investment. I am not interested do business or trade on market. I want to used it for long term investment only. Some people suggested me anytime is good for invest on bitcoin but I want to do it wisely. If you have some idea of the market and analysis kindly do it for me.

As of this posting, I am looking at Bitcoin with only less than $6,000 in price. This is already a good buying point. You should not wait any longer because the tide might turn the other side any time now. You should not be counting the few dollars difference. After all, you are planning to hodl your bought Bitcoins in a long term basis. It would only matter for a quick or short term investment.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ARToken — Decentralized AR/VR ecosystem for 3D content exchange on: November 12, 2017, 10:23:10 PM
The invitation-required ARToken ICO will be ending in a little more than a day from now. Everybody has got to hurry and participate in this great project. The future of 3D has so much potential. This is already an existing industry worth billions of dollars. There is no point worrying about the future of a project like ARToken. Why? Because Cappasity is an existing company, and that it has already raised $1.8M from Angel investors in 2014.

851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 02:06:42 AM
My plan so far is to divide them evenly to different business ventures. But mostly when it comes to business ventures, I will have to go through fiat first. I need to do this here in my country. It is quite hard to look for a business that is crypto or bitcoin-based. But until now, I am not withdrawing a significant portion of my Bitcoin earnings from trading and hodling. I think I will have to wait a little longer for them to grow some more.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC has left the building. on: November 12, 2017, 12:54:28 AM
It is over.  Looks like big blocks are winning.

BCH at 1500!!!!

This is not something that really calls for a big celebration. I guess without the scheduled Bitcoin Cash fork this coming November 13, this price pump will not happen. So this is just a pump that is based on a very temporary event. Right after the fork, we will be expecting that the price movement will turn downward again. But we will all see where this will all end later.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to go up or down? on: November 11, 2017, 11:24:51 PM
Amid little ups and little downs of Ethereum, the general movement for this coin would always be up. We all know that a little more than a year ago, this coin was still worth $13. And even if we are kind of stuck up with the value right now, there is still the very high potential of Ethereum hitting more than $400 before the year 2017 comes to an end.
854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down, everything down... on: November 11, 2017, 01:38:12 AM
WHY?!! So fn annoying. EVERYTHING IS DOWN again today, just when things were starting to look good again. I HATE THIS.

I am sharing your frustration. I think most of us are really frustrated right now. I was happy looking at my blockfolio yesterday because even if Bitcoin is going down a little, the altcoins are flying. But it ended up very short-lived in that Bitcoin continued to fall down to less than $6,700 and then the altcoins followed suit. This is the most frustrating part. Because if Bitcoin goes up very high, the altcoins are going red but when Bitcoin goes down too low, the altcoins are still red.
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fork gone! BTC to $10k in 2017 guaranteed! on: November 10, 2017, 11:39:55 PM
The uncertainty and general possible mayhem of the fork was the only thing standing in the way of $10,000 BTC by end of 2017. Now with the fork removed I think we are guaranteed to hit it in December.

How high do you think it'll go before end of year? If Bitcoin keeps its average pace this year it'll hit $11,000 roughly on the last day of the year.

I am also setting the target for 2017 at $10,000 per Bitcoin. That is already enough for me. It seems a perfect and reasonable speculation already. If in any case that it will fall short of grabbing the $10,000 resistance, for sure it would be playing around $9,500 more or less. And finally in the earliest days of the year 2018, the $10,000 will finally be hit. But because of the upcoming SegWit2x this December, I think it is going to be an easy $10,000.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin undergoing a correction? on: November 10, 2017, 10:44:59 PM
Its down over $500 from yesterday and seems like its going to go down more. I hope not.

This is normal. If the growth is very fast, expect that there will also be a downward movement to follow. Let us just hope that this will not last too long. I think this will not go as down as $5,500 because the coming back of Bitcoin's upward movement might be in the next weeks of November. Bitcoin Silver will be coming this December. We will be expecting another Bitcoin rally by that time because of the free coins.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China will completely ban bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 11:10:27 PM
China does not have much options really. Will they ban Bitcoin completely and isolate itself from the Cryptoworld like a hermit? That sound pretty stupid of them to do that. Well, they could actually do that and invent a cryptocurrency that is solely for china and the chinese people. Just the same, however, they will look an isolated hermit. And then there are those big names in china who are also big names in crypto. They will surely leave their country if that happens.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disappointed with Banks on: November 09, 2017, 12:06:42 AM
Banks are very strict when it comes to identifications ID. I have an experience also that became a reason to dislike banks. My wife opened a bank account in this bank and then they sent us a credit card which my wife didn't applied or approved. I called the bank and asking why they sent a credit card that we didn't applied they said its ok sir that credit card is for your future needs but don't worry there is no payment on that unless you used it so we keep the cards because they mentioned its free then after a year we received a billing letter on that bank and we have to pay 120$ for the two cards. Then again i called them and said it is for the annual fee and i mentioned to them that we didn't applied for that and they said that they can't do anything with it we have to pay for that in order for us to closed that account.
Due to immense restrictions and hard terms and conditions people are fed up of bank business that’s why people dislike banks. For your own money you will request to bankers whenever you want to withdraw but they will not give you your money easily and may be you need to go to bank for so many times for your withdrawal. Actually Banks have monopoly in the market and people are compel because there is no any competitor of banks in the market. I think currency only bitcoin can compete banks and provide facilities to masses according to their well.

I agree. But I also understand the side of the banks to be fair to them. Banks are holding a huge amount of money that is not theirs in the first place. One false move and they will get the ire of the depositors as well as the entire banking industry for failure and neglect of duty. That is why they make sure that the identity of people doing transactions with them are confirmed and verified to the highest level. Bitcoin is an alternative though. People are free to choose.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: November 08, 2017, 11:16:53 PM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?

I am not anymore adding my Bitcoins through cashing in some fiat to my wallet and converted to Bitcoin. I am now happy with my Bitcoins and the profit that it generates. They are enough for the overall growth of my portfolio and its value is USD. I also have alternate cryptocurrencies and they are also giving me some profit. These are the ones that will increase my overall portfolio value.
860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin going up? on: November 08, 2017, 12:22:16 AM
Why is bitcoin going 3% up each day?

It is not 3% each day but there is a very consistent growth for Bitcoin right now. This is mostly brought by the upcoming fork which is deemed very important for Bitcoin holders. For the past instances of Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold, there are free of these two kinds of coins to the Bitcoin holders. That is why, right now that B2X is coming, people are rushing to shift to Bitcoin in order for them to avail of the free B2X coins. The demand therefore rises.
