843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: April 28, 2017, 05:15:13 PM
Currently BitCoin Blocks is taking longer then usual to be confirmed even with high fees. Please do not complain about unconfirmed transactions. BitCoin Block confirmation time is related to BitCoin network and it's miners. All unconfirmed transactions will be confirmed eventually. Visit website: https://chain.so/btc to observe the current situation of BitCoin network and how fast blocks are being confirmed.
844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex To Delist 17 Altcoins In May Without Explanation on: April 28, 2017, 05:11:57 PM
They are running a reputed exchange and I don't see any reason to put such coins which don't have much volume, or being traded there consistently there. I know there are few coins which were too good but not necessary that we will always see them there as the space and usage it takes is useless unless there is some great volume and an actual need of putting them there.

Poloniex the biggest crypto exchange charges only 10k satoshi for btc withdraw and the btc will arrive within minutes. trading sites are taking advantage of the fees to sequeeze more money from users
845  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitfinex Price Spreads & Bitcoin Bubble on: April 28, 2017, 05:05:32 PM
Well, let's assume the worst for bitfinex
Then it's already to late, the bubble is formed and it's gonna go bananas.

Let's assume the best, no problems with any exchange (including china).
In this case , no bubble.

So the bubble is already formed or it doesn't exist at all, and all we can do right now is making more popcorn and watch it unfold.

Something is going on in the cryptocurrency world, but it’s hard to figure out why prices are jumping. Both bitcoin and Ether prices are currently trading at an all-time high. According to Coindesk’s price index, you could buy one bitcoin for $1,343 earlier today. It roughly represents a 6 percent increase in 7 days, and a 34 percent increase in a month.

847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 28, 2017, 03:27:12 AM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?

Yeah I think it is worth it after all even if it is just some small amount of investment you would still gain some profit,
And for me that's what counts in investment and that's the reason why you invested.

When it comes to investment it will always be worth it as long as it is real money. But with the amount of return that you will get that is not going to give you enough because that will depend on much you invest. But if you are a wise investor and you can grow that small investment into big money, you need to be hardworking.
Then i think simply you can draw a conclusion about investment with that opinion.
You cannot ecpect too much when you put small amount only to invest as the return is not that high and vice versa.
Worth or not as long as you can enjoy it and take a postive side , then why not? Just do it on whatever capital you have.

Yes, so if you are an investor and you only have small amount then don't expect that you will have good return. You cannot get what you want in return if you have investment and the money you allocate their isn't that big. Investment is not just about enjoyment, if you are just want to have fun then why risk it in investment?
Enjoy doesn't mean have fun lol , i mean as long as it makes you comfortable then why not.
If you did not get my point about that , i can simply say small investment will not gives you anything good as a profit just get another small additional money.
If you okay with that situation , there is no harm right? Just do it.

Yeah not all people are actually comfortable with investing big amounts especially those who doesn't yet have that much experience yet with investments. Its ok at first to start with small invesents as this would be a time to learn and make mistakes so when the time comes that you're ready to make big investments and you have a bigger capital, you pretty much would have an idea already of how things work

You are right. Even if you are rich, you also wont be investing huge amount cause you dont want over rely on one investment. It is always a rule of thumb to diversify your investment. And it is always good to start small and get more practical experience before you goes more deep into it.
Rich people dont leave the money die, they always invest their money whenever they find a potential project or potential activity. Therefore, if you have money, buy something that can save your life. Maybe in the future you can be rich

Ofcourse only the Rich people can invest. The reason is that we need money to invest and only people who already have a lot of extra money can invest. Poor people do not have extra cash and hence no investments.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: April 28, 2017, 03:24:17 AM
If you really want to stop and stay away from gambling you can do it no one and nothing can break your decision once you have made it . But if ever happens that you realized that you can't stop yourself you really need a counseling . Yeah it is hard when you are really addicted to it and if gambling is already your hobby it's like being addicted to smoking if you want to stop you need to follow the withdrawal procedure .
Gambling from the start is not really good. Once you try to play, it will surely be happen it again, until it become's there habit. So when time comes that the player become addicted in the games it will be hard for them to quit.  Now if you really want to quit and can't do it instead you do play again and again. I think you need an adviser or counseling to resolve your problems.

I think you need a mentor to help you get rid of gambling addiction. Gambling is a game in the beginning but as we play more and more it becomes aa addiction and it is real hard to leave it.

852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: April 07, 2017, 11:41:46 PM
Gambling is Fun for those who are rich and can afford to lose while on the other hand it is profit for those who are poor and need extra income quick.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: April 07, 2017, 11:39:57 PM
personally i not use gambling too much
sometimes with bit money
As far as I know in gambling you can lose everything or if you are " LUCKY " you can win too much

Gambling is a game of high loss and high win.As far as it is concern about the right and wrong, few countries and religions it is considered as a sin and no one is allowed to gamble in public, other countries it is a part of daily life
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: April 07, 2017, 11:35:34 PM
Everyone here watched the movie 21? That movie is based on true story where the students used card counting in casinos. Of course they have great mathematical skills and memory that has been polished by practice and some have raw talent. But do you think these guys really want to play in gambling from the start? What is gambling to them?
What I'm talking about is there are people that treat gambling as a real business, a work, a path that can make them rich. Do you think the millionaires would insist in gambling business if there is no profit? These people won't invest in something that they don't need. These kind of people view gambling in a different way than ordinary people.
Let's take it to the other side;
Some people buy lottery tickets everyday hoping that they would be an instant millionaire. Some are having a facepalm at the corner of the street after losing a bet in a cock fight, or a horse race. To these people they view gambling as a one way ticket to success, a golden key that may open the door somewhere where there are treasures. But in truth they are slowly succumbing to gmbking addiction that later may cause to the loss of everything. These extremes are being experience by all of us, it's just upmto us where will we put ourselves.

Good analysis on this. I agree with you that it really depends on the person who is gambling. People have different views of gambling and we all gamble for different reasons that is why everyone of us will have a different definition of gambling. But it would still boil down to, gambling is a game of chance. That is it's raw definition. How to interpret that, it depends on the person like what you said.

Gambling is for Fun for few people, a life changer for few. It can be a time pass for few and can be a habit for few. Some thake it a life earning and some just play it as they feel nice to play and gamble. All have different opinions.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: April 07, 2017, 11:32:22 PM
I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.

In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.

If you would have a winning bet that would give you a lot of profit, what would you do with it?
It depends on the size of the profit if the profit is small I will probably save it but if it was a big profit then I will probably spend a part of it in something that I like like a short trip to the beach or something like that since I have not taken a vacation in a long time.
If you are not really gambling for long term profit it's better to enjoy what you have won because it does not happen all the time.
I believe our chances are low so opportunities does not come often, for me I never think I could ever make money in the long run because
my experience was really not good and in overall I'm still in the losing side. When I win, I normally spend it to buy things that I like and treat
my friends for a drink, this has been my usual ways of celebrating and I do not roll my bankroll.
Exactly, in the unlikely scenario that we won some profits at gambling, then I think it is better for us to take the opportunity to enjoy that money since we are not going to have that many opportunities to win at a casino, since the advantage of the casinos over the players is significant.

I must tell you that idea you have is not the right thing to do because, if you won that money from gambling profit; you might loss that again and even worser profit loss. The best opportunity that you might be having will be the investment to make in establishing another investments which could generate profit, like a business of buy and sell of any kinds of dry good which everybody could demand and appreciate. One of the very growing investments nowadays was the fast food chains offering franchising, and what if the winnings you have will be used for that.
Talking about fastfood chain business it does really require big money for you to be able to start this kind of business and choosing to put money on investments is very ideal compared on playing it again or lending again for gambling you will possibly lose up your profit together will your capital which do commonly happen on most gamblers.

Fastfood business is not everyone game as most people do not have so big capitial to start with. Gambling is one time risk, you WIN and be a happy rich perosn or LOSE and cry like a loser.

857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 07, 2017, 11:22:21 PM
Today first one-day match between WI and Pakistan. It looks like some of the main WI players are playing IPL and this one day team will be quite weak now. It will be an easy win for Pakistan. It looks like we can make some profit from this match but don't bet more amount because sometimes things may change.
You are right, Pakistan managedto make 300+ Runs and it was possible through some weak bowling attack from WI. WI main players in IPL making it more easy PAK Win  Grin

859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: April 07, 2017, 07:13:20 PM
Everyone can hold his own bitcoin even criminals can obtain his own bitcoin the question here would be if the police can do something about it? which is very hard to do really! transaction over bitcoin will always be anonymous regarding this that is why I think that is the best question regarding some transaction of identify for illegal business, I think bitcoin is not the reason behind, something like this, the real culprit would be the person itself he can surely done anything with his bitcoin.

Nothing is impossible, bitcoin is a tool and remains man himself decisive.

Bitcoin is anonymous, and allows anyone or any party to use it for good things or bad things like terrorism.

But it does not support the terrorist it is just that it is free for everyone and so terrorist took advantage of it. We cant relate bitcoins to terrorists in any case.
860  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 03, 2017, 03:12:43 PM
I would like to accumulate wealth by means of bitcoin, but realistically, I would just be happy to acquire a few and make it as another income generating investment. If I had only been able to buy when the price was still at $200, then I probably am a very happy man right now. right now, the only way I am getting some bitcoin is through my signature campaign earnings and it is going to take a while before I am able to have a substantial amount enough to be my retirement fund.
I'm also accumulating more bitcoins from my signature campaign because i realize that this is the stable source of income for me aside from trading altcoins. The bitcoins that i bought at $800 price are still in cold storage because i want to sell them after at least 5 years and the capital that i'm using with altcoin trading are all came from my signature earnings.
That is good to do right now we should collect many bitcoin as many as we can because in the future we will sell it and use for more things even it will gives us more wealth and we will be rich in the future.

yeah if we collect some bitcoin and then hold it for few years because bitcoin will rise its price in huge value and then we can get a good profit and we can be rich through bitcoin in the future.

No other currency or commodity provides you with Such a dream which can become into reality. Just hold your coins and you will see thier price increase to such a extent that you will find yourself in the rich people.
