841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nucleus Vision cancels ICO on: February 01, 2018, 03:16:02 AM
This will be heartbreaking for those who believed and invested in Nucleus vision as the devs have just cancelled its ICO due to the rise in ETH prices. Although there is a promise to Airdrop Whitelisted users with tokens.

https://medium.com/@NucleusVision/the-official-nucleus-vision-airdrop-announcement-dbe594370872
Airdrop will not mean anything for those whitelist participant. What's wrong if the team just raised less amount of ethereum? That sucks man. Honestly, they are expecting more ethereum to go to nucleus's wallet, and they are trying to postpone the ico. Thanks for this joke from nucleus developer.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex remove many coins ???'' on: January 30, 2018, 11:49:29 PM
Bittrex these days, is requesting certificates of conformity to all currencies, according to American laws .... who will not provide the necessary documents within a few days will be delisted by the price list. There could be an apocalypse
There are so many securities in the bittrex exchange which against SEC compliance. That means if there will be a lot of tokens will be delisted from bittrex exchange site. There will be an apocalypse as fast as possible. Because it's not easy to complete SEC compliance to define the token as not a security.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most ICOs ask for KYC? on: January 30, 2018, 11:44:56 PM
At first, they asked for a verification of identities to avoid having invertors from the United States or China where ICO are prohibited. Since then, it has become a marketing element to prove the "seriousness" of a fundraiser.

Today, you have to pay attention to these companies that request a KYC, because it could be a scam that would like to steal your private information.
And then there are some projects that asked about KYC but at the end of the story, they are all turning into the scam project. This KYC story has been implemented by so many caused by the IP restriction can't prevent people from those countries are banning ico to participate in the ico. They can use  VPN or something like that to avoid it.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed or banning for reason!?! ICOs, AIRDROPs, BountyPrograms. on: January 30, 2018, 11:42:21 PM
Noticed a very widespread tendency now a day.  ICOs ban a very big part of participants in the AIRDROPs!

Why do they do it? Too many fakes? Or Don’t want to giveaway their coins/tokens to many people? Just attract many people and then get rid of useless participants?

I have heard from the KickCity team, that many people are concerned about being banned for nothing and do not join airdrops. So they really care about honesty and control their Airdrop very precisely.
Have you had bad experiences of participating in airdrops? Who are AirdropHunters in here? Wink

p.s. thread is for sharing any experiences and attitude to any airdrops, bounties, participantes and their organizers.

Does kickcity use its own platform to manage airdrop? if it's true and then i wouldn't be surprised so many people are getting banned. As far as i know that there are so many airdrop hunters right now and then most of them are using multiple accounts to join in such airdrop. They are banning without any reason. It becomes the responsibility of the team.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EIDOO Wallet [EDO] Will have a value $ 10 after the release of the exchange on: January 29, 2018, 01:56:20 PM
I saw a very good project and I invested in the project.
The project name is Eidoo with the EDO token name, which leads me to invest my money in this project is because Eidoo wallet has a complete feature
- Support all ERC tokens
- Will have exchange feature in one app
- Listed on many exchnger
- Easy to use
I think the EDO token value will have a minimum price of $ 10 after they released the exchange, now EDO tokens have a price of $ 3 - $ 4.
I am sure the $ 10 price will be very easy for EDO, so for those of you who have not invested in EDO, now is the right time to buy cheaply.
How do you speculate about Eidoo project?
For more informations
ANN
CoinMarketCap

I believe eidoo will have reached $10 asap. Honestly, I like the business plan of eidoo. How eido only attract some projects but as the result of the company gets a lot of revenue from the ico engine just and they can burn a lot of tokens caused by that income.
I like how eidoo manage to make the active source and business to generate the more revenue to the company in the future.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is mining coming to an end? on: January 29, 2018, 01:26:07 PM
Hey everyone,

So I know there are still coins getting made that can be mined but compared to how it used to be and how many tokens get made instead of actual blockchain cryptocurrencies that can be mined.

Could it get to the point where mining actual Cryptocurrencies comes to an end?

My thought that mining will come to its end asap.
More and more people were realized about the fact mining activity just like burn our earth as fast as possible. How mining activity consumes a lot of energy and then it will become an evil activity only to secure the network to be the decentralized.

The hybrid system will become preferable system rather than go all to the mining side.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) price calculator on: January 29, 2018, 01:16:12 PM
i am trying to find a calculator that allow you to enter custom price(default) for ethereum can anyone help? TIA
Is this what are you looking for?
https://www.coingecko.com/id/grafik_harga/ethereum/usd
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth?HashingPower=580&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=2800&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1

The first is ethereum price calculator and the second was ethereum mining profitability calculator.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano blockchain on: January 29, 2018, 01:14:17 PM
Do you believe in the very interesting project Cardano, that are trying to make a new and very scalable blockchain?
I don't believe in it. As far as I understand there are no differences between cardano and all of another new platform that aims to make future scalable blockchain with smartcontract. But I don't see any creativity from the developer to create something new just like what already did by ethereum.

Only solve the existing problem with mainstream way. Ethereum can even do that through hardfork.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: January 28, 2018, 11:49:28 PM
For me ethereum is better because you can make a lot lf profit to ethereum,  because for once bitcoin die the next bitcoin will be ethereum and most of us believe that. Neo is a good coin but ethereum is choice to me that give me high profit in the future. You can make a research so you can know what is better to invest maybe ethereum or neo.  But if you have large capital better to buy this coin so you can make more profit.

Being better is not related to the profit or economical aspect, I wanna point out. It's all about your technology that makes something even easier than anything. And ethereum is exactly doing this, not neo.
Alright, how etheruem comes with so many updates in the future while at the same time neo still stays with its pos system which generated a lot of interest in the neo token. As far as I know that the ethereum system is more dynamic compared with neo. I feel so awkward to use neo. But I do not see any difficult by used ethereum.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas on: January 28, 2018, 11:25:57 PM
Noticed today Ethereum gas is very cheap again,  I was able to do a few transactions for 1 GWEI.  As of now safe low is 0.1,  will this continue ?
It will, but with a future update of ethereum and your transactions will faster than this time. This is why people are feeling convenience by use ethereum to make actual payment to the others. Ethereum is very cheap and easy to use. That gives the more advantages for us. But it looks there is no a lot of people are using ethereum blockchain right now. And remember I'm not seeing the gas war in the ico.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you tend to invest in an ICO on: January 28, 2018, 11:19:20 PM
Hey guys

Just wondering what others normally invest in each ICO they invest in and see what the rough average is

Thanks
Honestly, this can't be argued by the way. As far as I know, that depends on how ico already put the maximum amount to invest for every participant. As long as you can invest that you afford to lose and it will be fine for you.
But ico already applied the maximum and minimum amount to invest in every account.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US forum? on: January 27, 2018, 04:39:59 AM
While I appreciate that crypto is global and this forum has many diverse folks, it does get frustrating when many posts are google translated as it’s usually poorly worded and requires some effort of deciphering of what the poster meant to say. I am really not trying to be rude or insensitive as I have learned a lot from this forum, but is there any other forums that cater to native English speakers?
This is sad, but you will never find such forum. I believe that SEC and FBI will be raided the domain of forum that related to the bitcoin in the US.
They are threatening against crypto, and then they are hoping the crypto community will never exist in the US. The majority of people from the US are using global forum right now.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recover wallet from damaged PC on: January 27, 2018, 04:34:50 AM
Hi,

I had two wallets (Deep Onion and Hemp Coin) on my PC which was completely damaged in a fire, It was burned to a crisp, so no chance of recovering anything from a Harddisk.
How can I recover the cryptos? Please help.
Have you understand what are you talking about right now? It seems you are not making any backup for your wallet. And then, your computer was damaged entirely and then, can you retake your wallet file from your broken hard disk?
i think that you understand the correct answer. But red marker alreayd told us about the truth you are completely lost all of your data.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cobinhood is a great deal right now on: January 27, 2018, 04:30:03 AM
Seriously, it's at $166 mil market cap right now, almost 1/4 of its all time high. The product is great, and so is the team. I'm looking to take a position soon.
I just feel curious about where cobinhood platform tries to cover the daily operation on its exchange site. If this is working on zero trading fees and it should be a good thing, but for another reason, some things don't make sense.
Bittrex and even cryptopia need a lot of funds to cover the daily operation to run exchange site.

Not sure about cobin will become forever zero fees trading platform.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which cryptocurrency is best to buy today? on: January 27, 2018, 04:23:54 AM
My suggestion is buy monero or bitcoin cash.

1.Bitcoin Cash - is an example of an evolved cryptocurrency that is ready for real world use and able to cater the retailers needs.
2.Monero- is an open source and 100% completely private and anonymous block chain base currency.

That is my own suggestion and opinion.
Bitcoin Cash is scum coin, korean pumped scum.. But Monero is good and very useful coin.
If you think monero is good as you said that and then for me it's just like another coin. Mainly crypto already used an algorithm to encrypted the transaction and then make it becomes untraceable.
As long as monero still traded in the centralized exchange and it's unuseful.  Roll Eyes
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: January 26, 2018, 06:43:19 AM
Did people loose coin to this project? I didn't invest. Just curious.

Invested months ago. And have some private keys... And waiting for the lauch to get our Tezos tokens. Date is unknown Cheesy
The fact that as long as tezos still in the legal battle with the country and you will never see your coin in your wallet. But, have you read about the tezos policy before we have tried to invest your money in there?
Honestly, we are all getting fucked by tezos. If we will not receive our coin and then almost 250 million dollars wasted.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a chance for Bitcoin Cash to go up to $10,000 as well? on: January 26, 2018, 06:38:03 AM
It took about 2 years for bitcoin to increase value from $1000 to $10,000. What is the chance that bitcoin cash would also go up to $10,000 in 2020?
I don't see any interesting thing in bitcoin cash rather than becomes over-hyped coin with roger and jihan behind it. The fact that there is no utility usage in the bitcoin cash. That has made by those are only try to fool crypto users through spread so many bullshit about the bitcoin cahs is the future payment and that will be replaced bitcoin. That's just a big bullshit man... It will never worth 10k and that's just only a dream and never becomes a real thing.
There is a lot of coin or token that even better than bitcoin cash.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best exchange site for Altcoins? on: January 26, 2018, 03:08:57 AM
Please suggest exchanges/trading sites which are user friendly.
1 binance, without verification and you will still able to withdraw up to 2bitcoin every day.
2 Okex, the system is similar with binance and i was never found any problem by using it.
3 Kucoin, one of good exchange in this time because it has so many users and remember that's not having a lot of restriction to the users.
4 the last should be hitbtc but remember hitbtc exchange site already applied deposit fees and it you are wanna sending your money in there and you must try to pay the more fees.
859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance is it required to verify account to withdraw coins? on: January 26, 2018, 03:06:06 AM
Unconfirmed withdrawal limit is 2BTC, if you want higher you can verify, verification conditions are very easy  Wink Wink
But it may take some days to verify our account but this is an official announcement about account without any verification still able to withdraw their coins. https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000864371-Verification-on-Binance
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SOUTH KOREA BACK IN THE GAME? 24.2% isn't too bad on: January 24, 2018, 09:48:06 AM
Am i reading this correctly and why not posted here before?

Or not as clear as it seems?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/s-korea-to-tax-crypto-exchanges-242-percent-in-line-with-existing-tax-policy

i guess now anon accounts are banned the individual will be taxed as income or cgt

looks like they are back in the game anyway

china next?

better than a blanket ban right ... or not?

Is this not a good thing i see many see it as a negative announcement?

But that's terrible news for all. Especially south Korean already announced to implement new bank system to synchronize all of the accounts that already created on the exchange site with Korean bank database. They are saying it's all about to give taxation in every act of exchange site and users.

There will be no more privacy if you are using centralized exchange site, let them all move to the real decentralized exchange site.
