841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CARBON][SM] Carboncoin | For a Greener Future - Efficient+Secure+Sustainable on: July 26, 2017, 11:53:54 AM
Do you mean total coins offered or the amount we are looking to raise?

Coins Smiley

We will initially be offering Tokens which will represent 4B of the new coins or some 25% of circulation. Any surplus will be added to block rewards for network contributors.

25% ICO is kinda big one. You have to pull some nice stuff out of the sleeve/code to make it work. Also price is still at 1 satoshi. So basically you will be able to get 40-80BTC from ICO (if price stay's same).

I would like to suggest for you to release whitepaper and introduce dev's at least 2 weeks before ICO offering. It will work out much better imo.

For now I will keep buying moar Carbon (almost in top100 Grin  )

Nice work Smiley The offering is going to be packed with loads of extra incentives for participants. There are actually very few coins available at these price levels, so the adjustment should happen quickly. Pre-sale starts next week, and at least a V1 whitepaper needs to be completed by then. All information will be complete and released by the beginning of the actual crowdsale, so one month later.

Wow just wow, this is nice hoping this project will be doing good in the market. since the bounty program offers a good deal and there are lots of perks for the investors definitely this project will be a success.

843  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people pray? on: July 23, 2017, 03:20:46 AM
If you really think about it, you are being a total douche when you pray for anything

You are basically telling god... that you know what is best, more than god does

By praying, you are saying...
"Hey god, I know you don't want to give me a new car, but I want it anyway"
"Screw your perfect/divine plan god, I want a new car... me me me me me me, it's all about me"

If it is god's will... why are you trying to change god's will?

Do you really think you know better than god does?

Or, are people just selfish and don't care what god has planned?

Yeah point taken, i believe people are praying as their defense mechanism on fears or anything that bothers them thinking that they can't do it alone. I somehow agree with you but i think prayer is done not only for wishing but also acknowledging and giving thanks.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in ICOs without working products. on: July 23, 2017, 03:07:12 AM
Yeah totally agree on this. For ICO investors you must be vigilant to the ICO you must check if the project has a feasible product or services that is really helpful in  daily use. In order for the coin to survive and maintain it's value.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: skincoin on: July 23, 2017, 02:54:01 AM
I think this will do good in the market to think it will be targetting gamers. Knowing esports nowadays is a big trend. Lets just hope that will not be getting conficts with steam and valve.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: July 23, 2017, 02:49:07 AM
Assessing the situation right know i believe no one can really predict the next big one accurately. I mean the life itself is so complex and when it comes to crypto i guess 4x complexity is safe to say.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: July 23, 2017, 02:44:34 AM
I think ethereum has nothing to do with this hacking. I believe most of the victims of this are those who click the links of free coins in an obviously impossible amount. Being baited to that phishing activities are not the responsibility of ethereum team.
848  Other / Off-topic / Re: What comes to your mind when you think of Japan? on: July 23, 2017, 02:37:19 AM
Definitely anime series, i mean who doesnt know japan for this? Dbz, naruto, op, gundam name it. So i guess i have to thank the japanese for making a big part of awesome childhood. Arigato!
849  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in aliens? on: July 23, 2017, 02:33:40 AM
Mmmmm yeah somehow, i mean if you just open your mind and wide  your imagination for the possibility of them existing, i guess yeah they can really exist. But as of now i guess more concrete evidence are needed for you to win this arguement.
850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: July 23, 2017, 02:28:24 AM
I believe taxation is no theft until the tax being posted is not computed right. We all know that most of the tax assesor take advantage of other people in terms of computation since it's their forte and some of us didn't know it.

852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ShadowToken for the highly rated Shadow Era TCG on: July 23, 2017, 02:13:31 AM
The bounty campaign will be professionally managed by Sylon and is expected to start by Monday.

This is a token specifically for the Shadow Era trading card game, featuring profit share, voting rights, daily rewards and perks for players. We already have a huge and established loyal community, and the game is transitioning from a single owner to a community driven game so that it can live up to its full potential. Think MTG or Hearthstone, but with a truly free-to-play model and highly balanced competitive play.

I would suggest that current ICOs for gaming projects aren't very successful because of the uncertainty involved in making a good game. It's not like a SAAS, it's very difficult and challenging to make a fun game, and we already have that Wink

Sylon really made a good reputation on this forum as i see, totally agree on this since it's a game it's a big challengd for the devs to make it very catchy and surpass the expectation of it's potential players. Let's what will happen and hope for the best for this one.
853  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: July 22, 2017, 10:52:05 AM
This is interesting but for people like me. i really believe that arguing with others and contesting if there is real God or not is nonsense. don't find this sarcastic but if you come to think of it God in every religion says be good. so try hard to be good even if it's not that easy. because at the end of the day if God really exist or not at least you die living a good life.
854  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learning a new language on: July 22, 2017, 10:41:40 AM
base on my experience, specially on asian languaages the key is to watch their local films or series. try to learn first the basics like greetings and salutations.
they the common nouns then your on your way learning it. the gestures and expression will came out naturally. but if you want proper training then go to crash courses.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ANACOIN - Crypto against extremism on: July 22, 2017, 10:37:58 AM
So you want to stop extremism with what exactly? Sponsored scriptures and religious texts?

The Saudi's have spent billions of dollars a year since the 70's funding the spread of Wahhabism, which is the doctrine used by ISIS. The money comes from oil sold to the US. The military industrialists then make billions of dollars a year fighting the War on Terror. It's a giant cash cow. You know all this. Do you really think you can stop that by examining different religions and ideologies?

Also, it's not wise to hype up the future price of a coin in your whitepaper using $100m paintings as an example. The reason should be obvious.

So, you're either (a) massive scammers, (b) naive idealists, or (c) you actually work for the government, and have rather cheekily come here to seek funding for your deradicalization program.

So which is it?

I totally agree with this. to just sum up the point. what in the world you are to infuse you belief or religion to any entity like business.
if that's your belief then hold on to it. it's not a good thing make money from it. like in other countries someones selling lucky charms, then if it's
for luck then why sell it?.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SKINCOIN - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR eSPORTS INDUSTRY on: July 22, 2017, 10:32:42 AM
i think this project is good, knowing that the target market are the gamers not only the gamer itself but the whole gaming industry.
at first i wast thinking why the hell players spend money for just avatars but when i started playing dota 2 i feels like i instantly feel an
urge to buy items. just one question, if you come to think of it don't you think you can have conflict with the game devs like steam and valve?
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bowhead Health: Personalized Health Platform on: July 22, 2017, 10:28:00 AM
the idea of taking healthcare into the next level is good. my questions are how accurate the device is? is there any certificate or documents you have from WHO? if you have i guess this might strengthen the legitimacy of these project.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [iDice.io Bounty Program] The Ethereum Dice Game Play, Invest, Profit! on: July 22, 2017, 10:19:36 AM
I think it's a nice campaign but i'm just wondering how many idice token are there? that's why i am thinking 1% for the bounty is too small.
enlighten me if i just misread it. no hating but it seems a good one for me .
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ShadowToken for the highly rated Shadow Era TCG on: July 22, 2017, 10:11:54 AM
Wow seems so nostalgic!, remembering good old days getting addicted to Yugi-oh. it also resembles Magic The Gathering. so excited to find out
their differences. Since it's a multiplayer game, hopefully it will be on a competive scene. pretty sure lots or enthusiast out there will be patronizing this project.
860  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you smoke weed? on: July 18, 2017, 01:56:31 AM
