So it means even you're a copper member , you still didn't get any advantage in the merit system right ? If this is a fact so it's too really too bad to becoming a copper member via donating . I think copper member deserve to have something better than normal members , specially when they're at low ranking.
There are still some advantages. You can post images, time limit between posts reduced. You can add more symbols than Newbie/Jr. Member in your signature. You only can't add clickable links to your signature.

Very interesting news! It's brave decision to remove Freebitco.in name and change it to crypteer.com. Freebitco.in is probably the most popular website in crypto industry, more popular than blockchain.info, coinbase or bitcointalk. Ok, it's great to hear that our old freebitco.in referral links will remain valid. But how about freedoge.co.in? If someone will join Crypteer via my freedoge.co.in referral link, will that referral will be credited to my account? And it will be interesting to see new currencies integrated. As I imagine, we will be able to choose to claim only 1 coin each hour? Will it be possible to gamble, buy lottery tickets with these coins? And will you continue to pay interest for BTC that we hold on your website?

Hey Ahmet Good job on your nice website. Please add coinpot to your supported free of transaction fee withdrawal wallets! Thanks again man
I'm not Ahmet, but I can answer - it's not possible to add Coinpot withdrawal, because Coinpot microwallet is not open to faucet pwners. Coinpot is only for Bitfun, Bonusbitcoin and Moon faucets (coinpot and these faucets belongs to same owner), they don't accept 3rd party faucets.

When Merit system was introduced, I only had to get 19 activity to get chance to become Legendary member. Now I also will need to get almost 500 Merit points. I'm disappointed? No. Hero or Legendary member, it's not really big difference for me.
I know sir your not because your rank is just enough here when we talk of profit. How about us? But that's okay as what i have said let's move on. If now I would be on your position, maybe I would talk differently than now. Merit system is much more beneficial for old members. But I consider it as analogy of early Bitcoin investors/hodlers. These who invested 3-4 years ago when Bitcoin was worth few hundreds bucks, have much bigger profits than these who invested few months ago. Same with Bitcointalk - these who joined few years ago now reached high ranks. But you shouldn't forget that many people came here not to earn money. They just discuss, follow news, educate themselves or helping to newbies. For these people Merit system and Ranks aren't that important, I think.

The weird thing is that Moon Bitcoin is not working for me and I can't log in but I'm getting referral payments through from it so clearly it's working for some people.
I think because it may work from mobile. I hope it will be fixed in the next 8 hours otherwise bye bye 100% daily bonus I've just tried on my iPhone and it is the same as on PC - not working. I'm over 24 hours since last claim, but I thought that the daily bonuses reset at 0:00 GMT <2 hours time. Yup, it also not working on mobile for me, but I'm still getting referral commission. It looks that some people still can use Moon fauxets without these issues. Luckily, I've made some claims in first part of they day, so I'm nor risking to loose loyalty bonusses.

Well, that's not biggest transfer on this year Winter Transfer Window But it's great way to get attention from Worldwide media. Small club like this one have to do something unusual, new to become visible. How many people heard about this club before these news? Now their name was written in all main football news websites. Many even bigger clubs can learn from this story how to get lot of media attention without spending millions.

Everything was working but now Moon Bitcoin is down for me at the moment. Anyone else having problems?
Not down, but seem there are some connection problems. I can't see "time since last claim" and "current claim amount", so, it's not possible to claim from Moonbit faucet.

Why you didn't posted in one of the many already existing threads about Merit system? Is it still not enough threads that you had to create new one? When Merit system was introduced, I only had to get 19 activity to get chance to become Legendary member. Now I also will need to get almost 500 Merit points. I'm disappointed? No. Hero or Legendary member, it's not really big difference for me. But I understand why new members feeling frustrated. Anyway, if you will post good content, you will get more or less Merits and you will reach high rank one day. And don't forget to give sMerit to other users, there is no point to hold all your sMerit untouched. I general, this system have more benefits than disadvantages. Something similar has to be done in fight with spam. We only need to wait some time ti see, how efdective this Merit system will be.

Are those lottery tickets is really on the high price right now? What I know is the lottery tickets cost only 1 satoshi which mean it is the cheapest tickets from any lottery that I met before.
If I'm not wrong these lottery ticket prices are fixed in USD so since we are buying these lottery tickets from BTC, the prices of each lottery depend on BTC prices. If BTC prices go high then you pay less BTC for each lottery ticket and if BTC prices go low then you need to pay more BTC to buy these lottery tickets. Not exactly. With increasing BTC they lowered lottery ticket prices until it reached 1 Satoshi. When BTC price was near $20 000, price of lottery ticket was 1 Satoshi. But now Bitcoin price is lower 2x, but price of lottery ticket remains same. Probably, if Bitcoin will start to rise again, Freebitco.in will have to consider making price of lottery ticket less than 1 satoshi (0.5 Satoshi). Otherwise, it will be to expensive to buy and there will be less interest in lottery.

Found this on another thread and I think it will be good to post it here to inform more users. And goodbye to this card too..
Dear Mistertango users, We have some really bad news for you... Due to the new regulations of "Mastercard" we can't issue card services for clients located outside Europe. From the 2018-02-01 all "Mistertango" issued cards for non-EU clients will be disabled. We are working hard to find new worldwide solution as fast as possible. You will be still able to use your "Mistertango" account to receive and send SEPA and SWIFT transfers. We are really sorry about this issue!
Sincerely, Mistertango
On the positive side, they still allow SEPA and SWIFT transfers which means I can still load the account with coins and transfer Euros to my other accounts.
So, as I understand, EU based clients still will be able to use Mistertango card? Because I'm from EU and didn't got this notification.

There are several main reasons why there are so many hacked accounts. First of all, many users are using same short, easy to remember passwords on every website. It's convenient to use, but such passwords are very weak. Passwords should be more complex. It has to be longer, with random numbers and special symbols like @,#,$,฿ and similar. People aren't careful. They clicking phishing links, downloading stuff from suspicious websites and they getting keylogger in this way. Offcourse, lack of 2FA doesn't helps to protect accounts. But as I read in past, it's very difficult to integrate Google 2FA to bitcointalk. But even if 2FA would be implemented, I'm sure that there still will be many people who will not use because they think "it won't happen to my, my password is strong enough. My account was also hacked in past, but luckily, admin restored it. I've used strong password on Bitcointalk but it didn't helped. The problem was that that hacker was able to login to my email account (I used really weak password and no 2FA). It was not problem on Bitcointalk side and I had to blame only myself that my account was hacked.

its really a good topic but in wrong thread
It's in service discussion. Where do you think should it be? I think it fits in this board well. As some members already pointed out, this thread belongs to Altcoin Service discussion. Currently it's on wrong board, because this board are dedicated to Bitcoin related services discussion.

I bought quite many things with Bitcoin in past. Most recent purchase was website hosting. I also bought hardware wallet and many small gadgets like USB keys, cables, phone battery and etc. But now I rarely purchasing stuff with BTC, mostly due to price volatility. And I didn't wanted to pay bigger fees than thing that I'm buying is worth. What I would like to buy with BTC? I don't know. It's possible to buy pretty much everything with BTC after loading Bitcoin debit card with it. Offcourse, now it's a bit difficult to find working BTC debit card

F. Alonso announced that he wil participate in World Endurance Championship (WEC) racing series. He will race in almost all GP's, including Le Mans 24 hours race. He will only skip Fuji 6 hours race, because there will be F1 US Gp on the same weekend. Guys, what do you think about it? Alonso recently participated in Daytona 24 hours race, but he and his team didn't achieved good results. Alonso did a good job in making Honda look bad last year, let's see what he's gonna do this year if things turn out bad again. That's the words of Dr. Helmut Marko, he recently said same thing

Thanks for sharing the information I never noticed that button.
@Moderators , Instead of creating this button on lower left corner, we can create on upper left corner for more visibility.
Mods can't do that. You should ask to forum admin theymos. I think that for better visibility "lock" button should be in same place alongside with "reply" "(un)watch" "notify" and other buttons. Once when I wanted to lock topic, I literally had to search for "lock" button. But I highly doubt that after making such changes more users would start locking their old threads.

I wrote an email to them 3 days ago and still no reply, I hope moon bitcoin isn't a scam, I did some effort there to get that 50 k satoshi.... thanks for a thread guess It's time to end with faucets.
Hmmm... First off all, take a look when this thread was created, it's more than 2 years old. They not even paying to Xapo anymore, all your earnings goes to your Coinpot account. And it's impossible to get response from Moonbit.co.in (and all their other faucets). But it doesn't means they are scam. If you already requested withdrawal, you will receive it sooner or later

I never got similar calls. And if I would get, I wouldn't answer. I usually ignore calls when I see unknown country code in phone number. How they are getting phone numbers? Probably in same like they get email addresses. Maybe you left your phone number on bad website or or they just bought database of phone numbers. It's also possible that these scammers are just calling to random phone numbers. That is really weird, do you know a service related to Bitcoin where you gave your phone number? As I'm really wondering if this scam is targeted to the Bitcoin community or just random.
Probably isn't even a company related to Bitcoin as I for one don't know a single website/exchange which requires a phone number and if they do then they are likely selling the data on or have been compromised. It could be other websites/services selling the number on and not specifically targeted at people already invested in Bitcoin. Lot of exchanges are asking for phone number. Many of them are using it to send 2FA SMS messages. But offcourse, it's not likely that phone number was leaked from exchange.

Can "Copper Member" Newbies wear clickable signatures?
I know they could a few weeks ago, but it seems that my organization account's signature is not clickable today. I don't know if that happened due to merit changes possibly? I have to look into this merit thing it's a change I haven't tracked. As I see, Newbies and Jr. Members with Copper membership don't have clickable links in their signatures - links are written in plain text. But if I'm not mistaken, in first days when Merit system was released, Newbies and Jr. Members had clickable links in their signature.
