8421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO September 1] ALIS - Japanese Social Media Network on: October 20, 2018, 11:48:50 PM
Thats nice to see daily reports, but to get more exposure, project needs more liquidity. Is there any work done towards getting listed on bigger exchanges?

They are not very keen to listed in big exchange right now. Guess they are trying to list on regulated Japanese exchange first, but the team keeps working on the platform and they are kind of active in their Discord and twitter regarding development.
I am very confident that ALIS will become a successful ICO by the end of 2018. ALIS collaborating with Microsoft is a big thing in my opinion, I'm sure Binnace, bittrex or bithumb will be the home of ALIS later

I don't want to jump into the speculation game, and with due respect we shouldn't be much excited about collaborating things either yet, every other project coming out on a daily basis with these kinds of collaboration. its long journey for Alis.

Binanace, bitterx is a long shot. and i guess Masahiro Yasu(CEO) clearly understand that. That's why they are focusing on Japanese exchange/market and if we get lucky then during the bull market, chances are its price can skyrocket for a limited period just like Monacoin.

8422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: October 20, 2018, 11:23:00 PM
I also lost some of the amounts of my bitcoin when the price went down, I withdraw it already the last time that the market falls down which is not a good decision but I just badly needed that time, that's why I encash it without thinking twice. LOL!

if someone needs an urgent money then there is no other choice, Unfortunately, we can't do much about that in this scenario.

I don't use my emotional feelings when it comes to crypto because i will surely regret and get depressed when i do. What i do is that when i loss some of my investments i tend to focus and diversify my portfolio, i don't stick with Bitcoin because the price is very volatile and hard to predict.

That's what we all try to do (90% investors/trade) but somehow we manage to make a mistake from our side and in the end regret -same story-lol
8423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: October 19, 2018, 10:09:00 AM

Oh boy! that's some big numbers. glad to know that you starting to get rid of all your debt.

I had a small scale investment on bitcoin and i invested on it when the market price is 30% higher. I never thought that market is going to fall down which results to the loss of some of my money if i will sell my bitcoin holdings now. Seeing the market price i consider it as a damage which is 30%. Well if i may ask you do you feel any damage right now? I wanna know who are those people who are investing prior to the market price fall down?

In my case I consider myself lucky enough because I bought bitcoin on a cheaper price than right now and also I got it from bounty and I never had losses or damage. Yet I am still holding my bitcoin and hoping it will br a good investment that the price will double again sooner. Maybe you should wait a little more time so that later on you will consider it as a fortune not a damage.

Same for me. I was lucky enough to get in last year and sold most of it during a bull run then again bought in dumping. I am quite new to bounties so didn't earn anything yet.
8424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: October 18, 2018, 01:47:28 PM

Following the price action is more safe as news also  has volatility because there are many entities nowadays release fake news to manipulate the market for their advantage. That is why it is better to do your own research and analysis and follow the price action.

Hard to follow price every time if you are a newbie. only experienced traders are able to do that and make some quick moves in a timely manner.

Good news fake news any kind of news can heard aren't the reason to follow them without self analysis
News price action in trading are only guide not to follow perfectly without any study and analysis
If follow that trend possible huge mistake you can create in your decision in trading

Not to mention pump group/shillers Cheesy they are the ones who do more harm to traders especially beginners.
8425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to store some Bitcoins? on: October 18, 2018, 07:08:46 AM
There is this crypto rule that helped me in recovering the losses I had when I newly jounef crypto.
It says" be greedy when others are scared".
So given the market status now, I think this is about the best time to buy bitcoin and hold for long time.

Yes, if we buy more with its lowest price we can surely expect and greater profit soon. We just need to be patient, positive and keep believing that all will recover again.

The thing is how we are supposed to know that what's the lowest price. for example, during dumping, people bought BTC at 12k then 8k again. at that time everyone expecting like that's it. finally, its the bottom, fill your bags.

8426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why can not I trust ICO-ratings? on: October 18, 2018, 06:58:13 AM
ico rating is very good is not a good guarantee if ico will achieve a success and will give you a lot of profits, now many ico pay to get a good rating,

True, Almost every ICO doing this to reach masses.

and for that you have to do your own research before investing, very much ico with a good rating but ico they failed

Unfortunately most of the investors especially newbies only follow shillers/influencer. and we all know how that road ends.
8427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: October 16, 2018, 02:35:04 PM
I lost all my wealth and savings in 2018 because of the bear market, we have very little left at the moment hence is why I am looking for another full time job because we can no longer sustain ourselves form crypto currency type activities. Although I like this area of technology very much, this year we lost all our Bitcoin holdings and have very little left in some crypto currency only. So 2018 has been a year of damage for us.

I feel for you bro. some of my friends also lost a significant amount of money because they entered during the Bull run they basically bought everything at ATH. few already left and a couple of them holding their portfolio and now busy in their day jobs.

You are a high-rank member and been here for a long time so I am just wondering how did you lose everything? That would be great if you can share your experience. it can help some of us for sure.

Bull Run? i doubt that. I know a good number of investors who are still in DARK RED  Roll Eyes   unless BTC crosses $15 k Cheesy  As of now whales are manipulating the market with a fake pump. Watch out its trap.
8430  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Current status of fiat withdrawal on: October 15, 2018, 01:54:01 PM
Can anyone give me the current status of fiat withdrawal from unocoin exchange? I want to urgently exchange some eth for fiat. So just want to know is it possible to do via unocoin.

You can transfer the ethereums to koinex and on koinex loop you can convert ethereums to cash. Buyer will deposit money directly to your bank account. Process is simple so you can try.

Yaar wahan order fill hone mein time lag jata hai. last time ( sep i guess)  i checked it took almost 24 hours.
8431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: October 15, 2018, 12:30:05 PM
For me, it's a favorable option than traditional payment when it comes to accepting payment via crypto because I accept BTC in exchange for my freelancing service. I convert them on a regular basis because have to pay bills. but it doesn't mean that I don't store them but as a gold. No
8432  Local / India / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges in India According to my Experience on: October 14, 2018, 07:50:05 AM
I only use localbitcoin.com for bitcoin and it's my top site when trading bitcoin. Koinex(p2p) is okay but they have very less volume and sometimes waiting time exceeds like 20-24 hours and like other user mentioned zebpay was not good handling significant withdrawal amount I had a horrible experience with zebpay, so i am glad that Saurabh Agrawal shutting down Zebpay.

It's a very disturbing episode. actually complete series is very disturbing. unfortunately, we already have this kind of attitude in our society, where people doing unnecessary things only to fit in.

8435  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Is it right to kill a violent burglar? on: September 22, 2018, 01:32:09 PM
Who cares about the law anyway when your and your loved one's life is in danger. Considering the fact burglars comes to your house and threatens you and your family" don't $%$&# tell me what is the law. plus don't tell me that gives them whatever they want.

I am not going to be politically correct in this scenario. Will kill them right away if I see the even slightest possibility of danger to my loved ones. Period!
8436  Other / Serious discussion / Re: [@Theymos] List of viable ideas to clean up the forum. on: September 21, 2018, 08:25:32 AM
If signature campaign generating big % of shitposting due to participants. in that case, Can forum's admins and bounty managers restrict every Junior members to join any signature campaign?
and top of that can BM restrict every old member who still in their starting merit slots like.

Member            :10
Full Member      :100
Sr. Member   :250
Hero Member   :500
Legendary         :1000

Because the way I see it following old members are not getting any merit due to some valid reason such as spamming or shitposting. few exceptions are always there for sure.
8437  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Entrepreneurship ideas and experiences on: September 06, 2018, 08:27:26 PM
Starting a business is so simple these days. It pretty much comes down to this: develop a skill that other people will pay for, and then use the internet to find those people. This concept can be applied to just about anything, and I think a lot of you guys don't realize how easy it is.

>another friend with art degree
>hears that storyboard artists can get paid $150/day doing boards
>starts focusing exclusively on being a freelance storyboard artist, building up site and portfolio
>starts running ads on google/bing to get the ball rolling
>storyboarding is a low competition niche so his name was always one of the first to pop up in search
Now he's always booked. He doesn't even run ads anymore.

I could go on all day. With one of my online businesses, I deal with a lot of "psychics" and "tarot readers." These people literally provide an imaginary service. PayPal them $25 and they'll give you a "psychic reading" via e-mail. They find all of their clients just by being active on Instagram. Occasionally, they'll pay a larger Instagram account to shout them out. A lot of these people are insane and say all kinds of weird shit. Yet they've still figured out how to run their own business online.

Frankly, being an artist is very tough and making money as an artist is not that easy.

But can vouch for this case which you have mentioned and its right for all art related category. Especially if the artist is talented and experienced then, he/she can earn $200-$500/ per day easily according to his/her hourly rates. It depends on the complexity level too. Your friend is undoubtedly an experienced individual that's why he/she is earning $150 per day. it happens if someone is getting regular work from the same client on a monthly basis. I am guessing this because usually storyboard artist gets bulk work in one go or lengthy contract. Let 's say a minimum of a 2-3 month.

I am a freelancer as well since 2013-2014 ( 3d Game Artist/ Character Modeler) $150/day is a perfect amount if the project is long (condition apply: if you are from developing county). Because in developing countries, studios charges are around $200/day = 1 Artist. So for any individual freelancer, $150 is a right amount.

Otherwise, beginners situation is not very good. It's cutthroat competition when it comes to freelancing. I remember my initial months when I left my regular 8 to 5 job and started doing freelancing. Oh boy! believe me, that was tough. Seen very $&#^ up days. made tons of mistakes while choosing projects, clients, hourly rate, time management, etc

But after 3-4 years of experience in freelance, now i can somehow choose my clients on my terms if I want. Money is good too after all hard work one can easily earn $3k-4k ( I am from India and its very good amount for me). on the good month, you can earn 2-3x too if you plan accordingly like commision work.

Before starting a freelancing career one should definitely tick a few things according to my experience.

First Phase :
1. Control your emotions and don't take quick decisions
2. Backup is always good (financially)
3. Be ready to become your salesmen, manager, accountant and worker at the same time. you are alone on this, believe or not

Second Phase :

4. Know your Clients requirements
5. Check if client legit
6. Respect your work and time ( Chances are you will not so you will accept bad clients + low payment because you have to pay bills nothing you can do about that) that's why Point
2 is important ( go back to the first phase)
7. After making mistakes. learn from your mistakes and Move on because no one cares about it except you.
8. Never ever rely on a single client. No matter how big he/she is and how big their promises are.
9. Keep learning. raise your standard if you wanna stand out. you are finish that day when you stop learning.

Third Phase :

10. Know your worth
11. Make a good business relationship with clients
12. Learn to say No
13. Your work is your signature. Never forget that, so no cheat!
14. Don't rely on hard work alone, smart work is needed too
15. Again Backup is always good

What is heard about the project? Have coins already paid or not?
This silence frightens me ...

If you visit the telegram pinned msz then you can see that bounty distribution will be after exchange listing and they are saying that exchange listing is in talks so we all have no other option but to wait for exchange listing.
8440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: August 29, 2018, 06:04:10 AM
So ones again we have been scammed by another ICO was known as Uchit. Now people have started raining insults and curses on the bounty manager that he has led them to be scammed. Despite the numerous apologies from the manager, bounty hunters do not seem to understand. Now my question is, do you think bounty hunters must be blamed when we are scammed because they knew what the ICO was up to, even from the beginning?

Bounty managing isn't easy so I think they are just doing their job. Some instances might cause some uncertain lapses but they aren't the one to blame because they have different jobs to do. In case the project didn't succeed I think it is not just the manager that is to blame but also the developers and creators of the project as well.

With due respect to your opinion. a project being unsuccessful or turn out to be complete scam(where bounty hunters didn't get paid for their work/effort) are 2 different scenarios. everyone agreed on that project success or failure doesn't depend on Bounty manager but Managers can take necessary steps so that he/she or any team can avoid scammy project's campaign.
