I feel sad for Venezuelan, they don't deserve this kind of situation. This will never be happened if their government doing their job well, unfortunately, they have an incompetent leaders. Here in Brazil we accepted thousands of Venezuelan refugees. This time , i am 100% supporting trump regarding this issue. that fucking Maduro should be ousted in Office. he doesnt deserve to handle any position in government because he is corrupt, greedy and incompetent !! he doesn't even know how to manage their economy. Poor venezuela.

maduros opponent will then create his coin, and live as king of venezuela will be no difference, power will corrupt everyone.

Actually the petro was 100% the idea of the Maduro and his administration. The Venezuelan congress wanted nothing to do with it, and I'm betting that once Maduro is removed from power the project will be abandoned. As far as we know he only ended up raising about $250,000 during the NEM petro ICO.

I am just trying to stop people like VINSIN from scamming more people.

If only we had some sort of system where users could leave ratings for other users based on their experiences in dealing with them, and then other forum members could read what they had written, and decide whether or not they wanted to trade with or trust them... Some sort of a "truster system", perhaps... Just thinking out loud.
8423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 01, 2019, 06:10:57 AM

Jihan WU is in New York, this might be a very special day if they reach a compromise. It looks like it  Shocked

Let's hope it's a true compromise. Something like Segwit with BIP100 (or similar) would ensure this clusterfuck is far less likely to occur in the future. A very conservative system to increase the base blocksize over time, and Segwit to get lightning networks rolling. That's what I think should happen, but I'm bound to be wrong  Roll Eyes

He was absolutely right about this, too.
8424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 01, 2019, 06:09:24 AM
I'm surprised BCH is still holding up so well. Will be interesting to see what happens after all of this drama is over and when it isn't being pumped to stay relevant Smiley I hope for more opportunities for free coin in the future (assuming price won't crash).

BitCHcoin holding up so well 'cause she's a real BitCH!

It's the bastard son of Bitcoin. The Jon Snow of cryptocurrencies. The one that came back from death.

... But the winter is coming.

Strictly speaking, bitcoin with segwit is the bastard child because segwit introduces changes to the code that dramatically alter the way it works. Bitcoin cash is more like your purebred, a continuation of the line with minor changes to improve performance. That's not to say that a good cross-breed won't outperform a thoroughbred however. That remains to be seen  Smiley

This guy hasn't posted in over a year, but he logs on every day and currently has the record for most time logged in to the forum -- by a longshot, too. Wonder what it would take to get him out of retirement.

topic is self moderated , if you dont like it no one is making you post here.  I don't mind if people say negative things about John but at least provide EVIDENCE.

I did post evidence. You deleted the comment anyway.

I kinda like him ,i was aware of his involvement in cryptocurrency when I back up electroneum and now I'm an investor of Apollo which john is the chairman

Ah, that explains the massive pump then. Was wondering how that thing pumped up so high.

The real question is, when is he gonna eat his own dick?

https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/887024683379544065?lang=en

He's got 1.5 years for BTC to get to $500k before he eats his own dick on national television.

The twitter link is evidence that he said that.

you have to answer this:

Why did you make this thread if you are just going to delete everybody's replies that say anything bad about him?

So far you've deleted 11 posts by 9 users... Instead of deleting this one can you please answer my question?

Hah! He deleted it:

DRAMA?? - facts regarding wrong doing and trust abuse??  another snake like untrustworthy ploy to group in facts and evidence of wrong doing with drama and trolling.

Yes and its getting boring TBH. I'm regretting sticking my head into it.

It does not work like the good outweighs the bad.

That's exactly how it works. Nobody's perfect. Not even you.

Prove that I am mentally unstable. Direct me now to the post that demonstrates your spurious snake like claim.

Every day you come to this forum and unleash huge walls of hate text about the same, tired problem(s), over and over. People have already pointed it out far more than I currently have the strength to.

Take that sig off you spamming dirt bag. Net negative untruthful posts earning money here should stop.

Says the guy with over 13,000 posts... OK guy, we get it, people who wear sigs are spammers and people like you aren't. I never even got paid for a sig campaign before late last year and I've been here almost as long as you. I'm bowing out of this "debate" and will let you have the last word.
8428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 31, 2019, 04:21:49 PM

Falling from 80 cents to 5 cents isn't "almost the same" regardless of how you spin it.

It fucking crashed. Not that the underlying tech isn't great and there isn't tremendous room for growth, it is, and there is. However, NEM, like most coins, was way too high one year ago, and came crashing down with every single other coin.

Suddenly today crashed even more!
What to do now? Panic buy or panic sell?!  Huh

Well, let's admit it: competition in the crypto space is brutal. Without any real catalysts to encourage broad speculation in the marketplace, NEM (like anything else) will have to depend on increases in real-world adoption to gain any positive traction. However, if and when another strong bull market manifests itself, then it will likely be one of the prime recipients of a capital injection.

Basically I don't know and your guess is as good as anybody's.
8429  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 31, 2019, 04:03:25 PM

Lauda is a proven liar and trust abuser
tman is a proven trust abuser

You are including them on DT. I also heard you are one to be excluding myself as untrustworthy. That again is completely laughable as I have never done anything but fight for the weakest and out and fight the largest of scams. I have no interest of being on DT i would not be part of this system of control however excluding me as untrustworthy makes you untrustworthy unless you can provide a good reason for this that can debate and present evidence for. That coupled with the fact you are supporting proven liars and trust abusers who sought to silence me from presenting FACTS about their past is disgraceful.

Without being aware of your previous ongoing drama with these two, I can tell you that I added Lauda and TMAN because I think the good they contribute to the forum far outweighs the bad, and I distrusted you because you're a bit mentally unstable. Upon closer inspection you've never red trusted anybody so I admit the move has no bearing on anything. Neither does it have any bearing on you -- its not the same thing as actually leaving a trust rating.

You should get back to "fighting for the weakest" if that's truly your thing. All this drama is making me sleepy.
8430  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evil MAGA hat kids from Covington School VS Native American on: January 31, 2019, 03:54:40 PM
The MAGA hat isn't a "provocative political statement." It's a hat that was a trademark of the MAJORITY VOTE IN THE LAST ELECTION.

Actually Trump won the presidency with a minority of the vote, not majority. Far more people voted for Hillary than Trump. 2.87 million as a matter of fact.
8431  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: January 31, 2019, 03:48:11 PM

Just see title and post, this is very, very funny. People have so great fantasy and suddenly they waste it here.
I have no idea why these threads are created again and again for years + people always post here. This is shame, what do you talk about bitcoin to kid? Are you sane? Let this kid play and enjoy life, wtf do you think.

Lol. "7".

"Kid, you're too young to have to care about bitcoin, or even money for that matter. Here, have a crayon."

There, done.
8432  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 31, 2019, 03:00:17 PM
In the case of members who actually do have a reputation, their only strategy is to attempt to diminish that with accusations and mobbing, because that is all they know how to do. They are used to being able to dismiss every complaint as a scammer or an alt, and in a constant mindset of either you do way I say or you are a scammer or supporting scams, not because I have proof, but because I said so. This is why we need a standard of evidence for rating.

Maybe you should try creating some more locked threads instead. Surely that will solve the problem!

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Come on snake. I have notice you are supporting a proven liar and proven trust abuser on DT. I don't think we can rely on anything you say to be for the good of the board from now on. I certainly would not trust you now stfu.

want proof- just ask. Perhaps I will review my opinion of you when you stop supporting proven liars and proven trust abusers.

Woah woah woah calm your angry boner... Exactly which one of the many members you think are "proven liars" am I supporting? I'm not really supporting anybody. Ask them!

Perhaps once or twice I commented that it was bizarre that you were flipping out in such a spectacular manner.

8434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-SALE][ICO] Petro $PTR - Oil backed crypto currency launched by Venezuela on: January 31, 2019, 02:03:30 PM
Well, guess the whole project is probably going down the shitter right about now, seeing as how the whole Petro thing was Maduro's idea from Day 1, and expressly disowned by congress. I don't think he'll be in power this time next year. It's been interesting to watch.
8435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 31, 2019, 01:59:44 PM
Uh... "almost the same".. are you nuts? One year ago it was 80 cents a coin, today its $0.047 a coin.

"Lets take random time gaps and claim blah blah."
It's steady and stable, in a decline so far but it has been a stable decline in price. Not a crash like you are trying to suggest.

"Random time gaps" aren't so random. One year, the point being argued was an exactly one year time frame.

Prices go up and down all over the place, NEM stays almost the same. Interesting actions I would say.

Sorry, this is simply not true. Year ago, 1 NEM was at 12000 sat, now it's about 1300 satoshis. As BTC is 4-5x lower than before a year, it means ~ 40x decrease. And as we were on #4-#5 position year ago, now we're at #18 and constantly falling further. Maybe it's (the position on CMC) just means that here are more projects now, that are more interesting / overhyped / whatever ... despite of this or that, it's sad at all.

You haven't kept an eye on the USD price apparently. Again, it's almost the same.

Good job Roger  Wink

Ah yeah i'm sure that'll do the trick!  Cheesy

I mean BCH is at a record low versus BTC... It can't go any lower, can it???

Maybe its time for another fork!
8437  Economy / Reputation / Re: There should be a public general elections on the DTs on: January 31, 2019, 01:36:56 PM
If u continue with this trust, i believe more will get scammed. I can't believe that VISIN managed to scam 2 before me with just 6 transactions.

VINSIN already had a bright, deep red trust before you got scammed. So what exactly is the problem with the trust system? It warned you not to trust him, you did anyway, now you're bitching about it? Makes no sense. He's even admitted to ripping people off in the past.

To be fair, dt's not spamming/hawking any wares.

Large parts of your whitepaper are plagiarized from various sources.

https://www.appea.com.au/oil-gas-explained/oil-and-gas/what-is-oil/
“Oil is the world’s most important fuel and underpins our high standard of living. It provides modern convenience and freedom of movement and is crucial to transport systems.”

https://www.noia.org/about-petroleum/
“It is called a fossil fuel because it was formed from the remains of tiny sea plants and animals that died hundreds of millions of years ago.”

https://www.slideshare.net/CesarBardalesAlvarad/fagan-a-an-introduction-to-the-petroleum-industry
“You were able to enjoy breakfast in comfort and warmth because of the oilburning furnace in your basement.”

I also have questions about your team. Your CEO, "Liam Evans" prior experience in the industry consists of being "Petrol Inspector" at "Petroleum Company." Can you name what company this was?

Also, Bradley Robson, Chief Technology Officer held the same position at a recruitment agency?

https://www.linkedin.com/company/mentmore-recruitment/

Thanks for clarifying these concerns.
