8441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banned ICO's not Bitcoin idiots! on: September 07, 2017, 06:37:27 AM
A friend I introduced to Bitcoin, phoned me today asking why China banned Bitcoin. He quoted a article in his local news paper, who quoted Bloomberg : https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-09-04/china-central-bank-says-initial-coin-offerings-are-illegal

The mainstream media has no f#$%^ clue what the difference between ICO's and Bitcoin is. Anyone can create a fancy webpage and a few PDF's with information on their ICO offering and then sell tokens for it.

Initial coin offering (ICO) is an unregulated means of crowdfunding via the use of cryptocurrency. The term is often confused with 'token sale' or crowdsale, which refers to a method of selling participation in an economy, giving investors access to the features of a particular project starting at a later date.

Please phone your local newspapers and explain the difference to them, because ICO's are not Bitcoin!

People will do anything to sell a few extra news papers or to receive a few extra clicks on their websites, even if they publish total rubbish. They should research a subject before they publish garbage like this.

It just shows you how unreliable information can be that are being published in the media. This might even be done on purpose. ^grrrrrrrr^

I agree with op here, many of the my friends who are new to this crypto world were confused and they panicked when they say the price crash. Though I told them that whenever something like this happens and China is responsible prices shoot up and double up. As for those articles on the net, it's simple they are getting free traffic, plus earning money thanks to the ads posted on their website. It's a shame that people actually fall for such traps and create unnecessary confusion for everyone concerned.
8442  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 ICO ANNOUNCE 15 AUG 2017! JOIN THE TRANSFORMATION! 🎰🎰🎰 on: September 07, 2017, 03:46:12 AM
Adding altcoins would definitely help you reach a wider audience.
Quoting my post because I'm not sure whether you've noticed it or not.

Didn't you notice that bitdice has some altcoins already like doge, eth and ltc? If you noticed it already so what altcoins you want to suggest to be added on bitdice? IMO, those three available altcoins is more than enough for a gambling site.

Yep, BitDice already has plenty of alts and I believe support for IOTA may be coming soon as well. If there is big enough demand for a coin, it is possible it could be listed in the future, but most people tend to use BTC for gambling.

Yes if many of the users will want it, they will get other coins to, when it comes for innovations and adding new stuff, Bitdice is always been one step ahead. True every one likes to trade in Bitcoins. Iota has risen up a lot, and like the user said it's reached 8th Rank, which only shows its getting more and more popular, right now they are busy with Ico but I am very sure they yet will consider this if more users want it.
8443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the relationship between China's ban on ico and market prices on: September 06, 2017, 03:26:33 AM
why after the Chinese government forbids ico, the state of the market so immediately changed, whether the influence or the relationship between china and decision

China is jealous of Bitcoin as it's been a better performer than its economy, it has done it again, first with the exchanges when the price was high and then with the banning of the Ico. Well they may say it's for good but we all know they can't see Bitcoin succeeding, I feel it's a welcome move as price dropper people brought and made merry all round. But I feel the fear is all but over, prices have rebounded sharply back.
8444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that those who own and run casinos are criminals or conmen? on: September 05, 2017, 04:30:05 AM
I am curious about the casinos owner. they have so much to offer. I think they are more fair than any political party.

That's nonsense thought, you can click on my signature link and speak with the owner or message Alex out here. Yes there are fraud casino on owners but not all are fraud, Alex is one of the most trusted and best casino owner ever. Look at the Ico, people are investing cause they trust the owner, may be you been cheated or conned but you should have taken extra care. I only prefer to pay at respected casinos and these days only at Bitdice, maybe you should check it out, it's to good.
8445  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where to buy BTC with USD? on: September 05, 2017, 04:24:34 AM
I know of Coinbase/GDAX, anywhere else?

Hey I would suggest you an alternative, local Bitcoin, exchanges can't always be trusted, why don't you check out the currency section of this forum, buy and sell. People who have a huge reputation you should deal with them and buy it from them, what's the benefit you can be assured you will be paid, but for that make sure whom ever you choose is running this kind of service and has done deals lately. You should start searching if you are planning to buy, prices have fallen. I would recommend only this forum trusted buyer and sellers, then upto you.
8446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Opens First Criminal Case Involving Bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 12:14:31 PM
https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2017/09/03/russia-opens-first-criminal-case-involving-bitcoin/#5c2dd77d5b6e

Quote
Last week, Russian police arrested three businessmen for illegally trading in 500 million rubles worth of bitcoin, or around $9 million worth of the crypto-currency. The arrest marks the start of the first-ever criminal case against bitcoin sales in Russia, Vedomosti business daily reported on Sept. 1.  The Russian government has a balancing act to do: they want to show that crypto-currencies will not be tolerated as a money laundering unit, on one hand, while on the other hand want to show they are rolling out the welcome mat for bitcoin and similar technologies. It's the latter, or risk losing out on major, global, life changing opportunities going forward.

According to Ministry of Internal Affairs press officer, Irina Volk, the three defendants illegally cashed the millions in bitcoin and are being brought up on charges of  "Illegal Banking". Their names have been concealed. Arrests were made approximately 260 miles northeast of Moscow in the city of Kostroma. The exchange came to light after investigators found an unusual amount of activity in bank accounts stemming from 300 bank cards and sim cards used to store the digital currency. The money was being shifted into different accounts owned by family members, prosecutors believe.

They haven't bought drugs or guns - they've just been trading, and that is enough to be charged with money laundering in Russia.

I have some questions we all know Bitcoins cannot be traced to the owners, or no one can ever know who owns how much, how did these guys get caught? I remember reading two articles one where Russia welcomes Bitcoins other they are not keen, now if they say they are arrested only for trading on bitcoin that's a bad situation for Russians using bitcoins, or there is a bigger picture that we don't know? I don't think that they can be prosecuted for such petty offence or can they? This is not good for Bitcoin cause other countries may use this case as a example. Op keep positing new updates as and when you get them.
8447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 04, 2017, 12:02:10 PM
I really don't understand why Chelsea wants to sue Diego Costa after they reportedly told him he was no longer needed at the club and told him tomleave, and now they want him back and are prepared to sue him if he doesn't, this is totally the fault of Conte, he caused all this problem and he should be the one being bashed not Costa.
That's called the modern gladiator or modern slaves system, this type of strategy is really baneful for the football. after completing last season Chelsea almost declared that they would not feel Costa but Costa didn't make any positive impact during the summer transfer that's why this situation has been revealed...

I never expected this from a team like Chelsea but it has happened and les wait and see how things are going to turn out but it's clearly because of envy and I hope costa will keep up his performances in order to make them ever regret for selling him.

I don't know if you guys haven't noticed yet, Conte has a big ego and he's mad, he's not the chill kind of coach who believes in peace, he's the one to go at war, he's very aggressive and doesn't really feel any emotions towards Costa. Had Costa not played last season they never would have won the title, look last time when asked about Costa he said he didn't even care, that's not the correct attitude, the club also failed to protect Costa and the thing Is Costa is letting conte win, I feel he should come back, and tell to conte face I am not going to do what you want me to do, and I can bet conte shall punch him. This way Costa could have his revenge.
8448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of the Altcoins crashing, as bitcoin gaining strength??? on: September 04, 2017, 10:58:17 AM
Why so many Altcoins crashing continuously, while on the other hand Bitcoin gaining more and more strength? Do you think Altcoins will give one more boom this year?? Huh

Who cares of Alt falling? I have never brought a alt, neither do I intent to ever buy one or even earn any. They are alt for a reason, they have just copied Bitcoins, but they are not Bitcoin. They neither have the size or the volume of Bitcoins, and Bitcoin is popular all over the world, and alts are not, if you have any money in alts, I would suggest you to move them to bitcoins, alts lack stability and they are only good for short time and it's best to use Bitcoins to gain wealth.
8449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price and financial crisis/downturn on: September 04, 2017, 09:58:17 AM
Hi,

Up to now, Bitcoin hasn't gone through financial crisis. Maybe one financial crisis is near (look at financial market overvaluation)

in case of financial crisis, bitcoin price could
-collapse as big money people will withdraw from any investment,
-surge as BTC could be seen as an escape to current financial system
-remain stable

Do you think that in case of a major financial crisis like in 2008, bitcoin price will collapse, surge or remain stable?

thanks

Dont know why people are obsessed with Bitcoin becoming a bubble, Bitcoin has strong fundamentals most importantly it's decentralised, last time bubble happened cause it was centralized, and there was a greed, overly valuations and with Bitcoins it's not the same, there is no irregular valuations, people are adopting it, countries are using it. I feel it's prices shall remain stable and grow, might come down but not to much, year end low target 3800$ high 5000$. That's the price range for me. Plus with North Korea going berserk who knows how high it could go.

各类金融行业组织应当做好政策解读,督促会员单位自觉抵制与代币发行融资交易及“虚拟货币”相关的非法金融活动,远离市场乱象,加强投资者教育,共同维护正常的金融秩序。
China is jealous of Bitcoins and call it a coincidence that last time Bitcoin was on a stellar run, China suddenly decided to check it exchanges and that resulted in it's pricing dropping, I have a feeling that China top power people want to buy at low prices and that's why they try and stop it, why can't they learn they can't stop North Korea and can't stop Bitcoins. I don't think existing ico will be effected but new ones could.

How can you determine whether you are addicted to gambling?

Well there is some way to find out, click on my signature start playing little amount bets, if you can stop while you are ahead or loosing you are safe. Then if you want play a sport game and can stop yourself from playing that means you got some self control. I am a compulsive gambler but I learn to control myself and that's why I am cool with it. There no shame in being a gambler. You should just be able to control yourself when you play.
8452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler destroyed on: September 03, 2017, 11:27:28 AM
Hello guys !
I'm new here. Sorry for my bad English.
In my opinion whatever is done by the hand of man can be broken / destroyed. I know, you believe this can't be possible because a lot of people can't make a perfect strategy. In the last 24 hours I wanted to break this myth and I think I SUCCESS!!! You do not believe me, but I will attach you some pictures to see that I have succeeded.
All is automated (dicebot).
This post is not created with the purpose of giving me great. I want you to know it's possible. I'm probably going to sell the strategy but at this moment I will test it for a week to convince me that it's perfect, and if it is not, I will perfect it. I'll keep you up-to-date within the time available. I will probably leave some tips here  Wink

Definitely English is bad, but you're forgiven, I get it you mean to say gamblers will get destroyed if they play without a strategy, that was quite a risk playing on autobot but good for you that you made some good money on it. I have never played with a strategy, I just randomly play, cause the ones who played with a strategy have lost to, that means it's not full proof you shall win only, so makes no sense to play with a strategy.
8453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 03, 2017, 05:19:03 AM

West Indies played well in last test match, but don't they will continue the same form in ODI series. One thing i want to tell WI is a strong team in limited over matches. And i think few experienced players may play in this series i am not sure. England is more strong to compare WI, but we can not underestimate WI.

SL lost all matches I think India is going to whitewash this series by winning the game tomorrow.

SL team will try their best to win this match so that they will have some confidence to go to next series. But I'm not sure whether India will allow that to happen unless If India gives a rest to most of their best players and give chance to other to play. This match is very important to SL team than Indian team.

The only way of SL can win this match is by India resting it's top players and giving chance to new players to give them an experience too. Else if India play with their same side like last time then SL will not have any chance to win this match . SL will like to win this last match for their country so that they do now give a white wash to India .

Hope to see a competitive match between both the teams .

Sl team used to be decent but suddenly they become worst than Bangladesh team. Now Bangladesh is playing very good and SL playing on their home ground and they will be having a better crowd support still they can't get back their form. In the last match, their fans become upset and they stopped the game for while but don't know what happens today.

Put all your money on team India, they win even after loosing all their wickets, Sri Lanka has been quiet a disappointment, considering its their home and they have failed to take any advantage, nothing been done, catches dropped, silly shots weak character display, even Malinga been poor. So if the match starts and India looses few wickets and the rate goes up go all in. It's a good match to make some quick bucks, the loos possibility is less unless srilanka can actually do something spectular which they haven't.
8454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why now is the time to invest in Bitcoin on: September 03, 2017, 05:15:18 AM
It would seem that Bitcoin is a volatile object of mystery, but the reality is that it (blockchain) is brand new technology that is already disrupting how we give and receive money across the globe. I can see the potential, yet also understand the risks.

Why do you think now a good time to invest in Bitcoin?

Investing in Bitcoins is always a good idea, but I have always told people do it in small quantities and over a period of time, sometimes it rises and sometimes it takes a fall. Then there is always a risk of a war looming, so in case of any global war, Bitcoin priced shall break all he'll loose, then it's the most secured currency ever and that's the best part. Plus you don't need to disclose it to your government ever, so no taxes, pure income and that's why I suggest to invest in Bitcoins.

Over the past months/years there have being numerous statements and speculations on the digital currency “bitcoin” ,deciding its fate and on how a money that you cannot see or touch can be used for every day transaction, many countries have being calling the cryptocurrency a “Scam Coin” and that it is meaningless and pointless.

Agreed with the Op, when I first came to this online world, I was so surprised to see so many scams happening, but last year I finally came to Bitcoin world, when I was discussing it with friends and families all thought this was the mother of all scams, and I just had faith in it, today all these people are biting the dust while we all those who had faith in Bitcoins are rejoicing. Truly enjoying the moment.
8456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have an interesting question. on: September 02, 2017, 11:13:30 AM
Okay, so you see, I am all about breaking free from all the chains of all the governments and their banks that are watching our every move and every asset we own so they can tax the hell out of everything they can. But you see, if I put everything i have onto an offline wallet or in drive wallet and put it in a vault, or anywhere you guys can think of, what then would i do if something happens to that place where i stored my drive containing almost everything i have? What if a fire happens? A war? A natural disaster? That would mean i would lose everything i have! And the worse thing is, i can also not go putting money on online wallets because i just don't trust them.

I would like to see some thoughts. Thanks.

Just one question if you do that how will you survive? Be realistic if suddenly you remove all your money, how will you explain them where it went. I would suggest use a wallet like electrum, let the place burn, country burn, go somewhere else and just get your coins, secondly paper wallet but if you store and it burns and you don't have your keys it's a waste. Treezor is one option but if you loose then what. I understand why you would like to so it, so I would suggest electrum that's the best wallet and easily use any where anytime irrespective of where you are.

I TOLD YOU!  Grin

Hahaha wish could have come to this forum way earlier and just for fun buy few coins and forget about them, but that never happened, I came when it was 900$ around last year at this month or close to next month and look in the past one year prices have touched 4100$ up (5000$). I told everyone I knew put your money at 1200$ but they did not listen, I told them at 2k they didn't and now they come to me and I also tell them op message I told you! I also add a grin to my face
8458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not free to transfer bitcoins? on: September 02, 2017, 08:42:57 AM
Hi, I have heard that one of the good things about bitcoins is that it is free to transfer bitcoins between accounts/wallets with no fee and it is free to pay with it.
Now I have made deposited a small amount 10 euros to Copay and i want to move it to another wallet or buy something with it. I get this information when I try: Amount too low to spend, spending this balance will need significant bitcoin network fees!
Why is that? Are there a better way to store bitcoins?

Last year at this very time it was easier to transact Bitcoins and incur no fees especially for the small amounts, but later on fees came for every transactions, you could use electrum wallet, it sets fees as per the network, plus you could set up your own fees to, however I would not recommend this, cause if you pay to less fees it can take ages for you to transfer the coins, and also don't do transactions for such low amounts, you will end up paying high fees.
8459  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is now $5000 on: September 02, 2017, 03:58:36 AM
Ok, Roll credits.  GG guys time to go home.

Already 5k? This was my year end target I believed it would touch that by the year end, and I am so very happy that it has already touched it. This shall send all the Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin gold people away for good and hopefully we see more people coming into the Bitcoin world. Any idea why it's suddenly rising, or what's the latest news on it. Bitcoin already touched the moon, wonder what's next, let the party never end.
8460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 01, 2017, 12:39:01 PM
PSG did a great summer transfer window, they might seriously have a chance at winning the CL now. Neymar & Mbappe is a match for anything out there.
I also think that PSG has completed the ever best transfer window, they have collected a couple of sensation players, at first the name has come to Neymar Jr. who is the cream of this summer transfer. Dani Alves who is one of the finest left back. and at the end of the transfer, Mbappe has joined this mighty club... what a team they have created.

Agreed they have assembled one of the best squads that's there, getting dany was just the start, then Neymar Jr out of nowhere was a master stroke and on top of that you get Mhabpe to. Let's not forget they already have caavaani and di Maria to. If they don't win their league and champion league and all other cups out there it will be a bit of disappointment for me. Real Madrid had one of the most laziest transfer season ever. Barcelona should have got more players, I am bit surprised couthino didn't move, and there are news that Messi could finally say bye to Barca next summer.
