Why so many Altcoins crashing continuously, while on the other hand Bitcoin gaining more and more strength? Do you think Altcoins will give one more boom this year??

Why so many Altcoins crashing continuously, while on the other hand Bitcoin gaining more and more strength? Do you think Altcoins will give one more boom this year?? Who cares of Alt falling? I have never brought a alt, neither do I intent to ever buy one or even earn any. They are alt for a reason, they have just copied Bitcoins, but they are not Bitcoin. They neither have the size or the volume of Bitcoins, and Bitcoin is popular all over the world, and alts are not, if you have any money in alts, I would suggest you to move them to bitcoins, alts lack stability and they are only good for short time and it's best to use Bitcoins to gain wealth.

It's normal for price fluctuations, in fact bitcoin right now is slowly decreasing its price compared to its price on the weekend. The altcoins might be decreasing its price now but hopefully soon they can recover once bitcoin stabilizes its price too.

Why so many Altcoins crashing continuously, while on the other hand Bitcoin gaining more and more strength? Do you think Altcoins will give one more boom this year?? If you looked at coinmarketcap.com for the past couple of days, it was already red due the BTC correction which is lasting a couple of days. When BTC was starting to go back up, the "China bans ICOs" news hit the mainstream media and insider tradings fueled the panic sellers to dump everything. The situation is starting to become pretty oversold because there's no real reason to dump everything, specially and obviously Bitcoin which got nothing to do with ICOs. My guess is, once the news are absorbed and the market realizes there's nonsensical panicselling going on, the dip will be quickly bought back up.

It's because more people prefer to use and invest in bitcoin because of its high value but we can't just say altcoins are useless, remember altcoins are just starting bitcoin also started in low value way back 2009 if i'm not mistaken. We can't tell but maybe one of this alts can surpass bitcoin.

With ICOs gone in China people will naturally stop being involved with altcoin trading. Since those people decide to stop trading they sell what they have. This brings down the price perhaps only a small amount, but others know this is going to happen and this creates a snowball affect where it goes down even steeper. Everyone then knows the end game where it goes down so then it becomes a race to sell. Honestly, if I was in China and I was an alt coin trader, I'd probably get out of my positions too. If you wait too long you might not be able to retrieve your money at all, because the Chinese government might get more strict and ride your ass more later.

I think crashing of altcoins has no relation to new ICO's coming. China is regulating the illegal fundraising fraud law, meaning they want to secure the investors if the ICO's are fake and to be able to regulate by the government. But usually in our community, trusted people escrow for the fund of the ICO not by the government it self.

I beg to differ, For anyone who knew BItcoin for long they might have this huge chance to accumulate and increase volume, but starters altcoin is the way. On I Study I conducted with 30 differents altcoin only 3 lost value, 27 since 2014 gained value, actually if I have invested the same amount ($3000) in Bitcoin in the same period since 2014 I would have a little over 2 bitcoins in my wallets whereas if I have done in altcoins (diversified) I would have over $450.000,00 . Try and beat that with all your eggs in a single basket.

Why so many Altcoins crashing continuously, while on the other hand Bitcoin gaining more and more strength? Do you think Altcoins will give one more boom this year?? All kinda of cryptocurrency including altcoins and Bitcoin are dependent on each of its market demand in terms with each of its price. Wuch that if the demand is high, a coin will be expensive. Maybe, the alts are falling while Bitcoin is rising because the demand from the altcoin are moved to Bitcoin because they find it more profitable.

I am slowly starting to think the whole thing will be history within a year or two. Cash out on a high note if you ask me. When "they" decide to regulate and control, no one here will be able to stop it, however invincible you think you are... they always win. lol

Why so many Altcoins crashing continuously, while on the other hand Bitcoin gaining more and more strength? Do you think Altcoins will give one more boom this year?? I think people have identified more opportunities in bitcoins for making the profit. On other hand, there has been less movement in the value of alt coins so people have turned their back and started investing into the bitcoins.

The main reason probably is the rate of altcoin in dollar. As bitcoin gain strength the equivalent dollar of bitcoin become higher but altcoin cannot sync with bitcoin getting stronger so they were left behind with the same dollar rate thus making altcoin looks crashing in terms of Bitcoin value. Others are just being forgotten and support are being taking out of that altcoin.

Right now bitcoin are experiencing correction as it was rapid grow its value just for a couple of week. Altcoins are depended on bitcoin thats why if the bitcoin decrease its price the altcoin follows. But maybe after this month when Bitcoin will be stable there will be a pump for altcoin to recover there price. If you are looking at the coinmarketcap everything in there as of now are in RED i guess one factor of it was the ICOs banning in China that affect all altcoins price.

It is not all altcoins crashing. But particular those ones, which function also as a basis for new start-ups like the Neo coin. Other coins are relatively still somehow ok. But overall Market cap went down from 175 to currently 147. So people in general move money into fiat. So time to buy cheap onions

You are 100% right mate, why the all altcoins price are falling means because the China governament banned ICO's in their country. This is making people to panic, and it will affect on all altcoins price including Bitcoin price.

A lot of these ICO's are scams and purely created to make "flash cash" returns. The Alt coin prices will take a knock and if these losses are not to big, some people might re-invest into Bitcoin after this Alt dump. There are some very good ICO's out there and many of them will survive, but the bad ones will most probably go down.

this is good to see the currencies going high because the prices and the importance of the bitcoin is increasing in the past bitcoin was not so much powerful but now today it has become the need of the people a lot of people are dependent on the bitcoin for earning it is providing the security and he the opportunities of the bitcoin income resources the price of the bitcoin increasing with the increase in the users of the bitcoin so it has huge potential and value in the case of the income and market demand.

The rise in bitcoin, and some altcoins, has been exponential this year. Perhaps a bit of cooling is the answer. There will be further increases but perhaps this is a good time to increase holding before next price increase.
