8461  Economy / Reputation / Re: YOBIT SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: December 27, 2019, 04:08:46 PM
For users, is it simple just about monetising their banner space or are there any other reasons?
Nope, I don't think there are any deeper reasons than people just trying to make money.
It is very sad to see a handful of these users without any morals using any words they can trying to justify them promoting a tainted brand and for what? Just a few pennies...

This whole investbox thing has left a bad taste in my mouth since I've had some time to actually think about it.  I don't like how Yobit changed their campaign signature from cryptotalk to the investbox one, which is asking members to advertise something completely different and at the very least smells very fishy.

People might very well be tempted to buy some of those non-existant shitcoins with "investment plans" on Yobit, in which case they're probably going to lose money when they try to sell those on the market after Yobit ends the plan earlier than the person thought.  They're only going to let you earn 5% interest daily for a few days at most--and notice how you can't withdraw any of those coins or even find much info about them.  It's all a load of crap, and any lingering respect I had for Yobit has basically flown out the window in the past week.
I was never impressed by them and what they had to offer.

The investment plans are a great way to maximise them receiving user funds and then leave the option for them to either exit scam their way out or stay put and tell investors their investment failed.

Atomic wallet even claims that it has atomic swap, which is a lie.
According to their site they do have Atomic Swaps. They have a guide how to do it as well > https://atomicwallet.io/how-to-make-atomic-swap
You can create your own swap orders or accept those of other users. No idea if it works or not.
Have you tried it and it didn't work for you?

The team behind Atomic Wallet are connected to the same group involved with Changelly and ChangeNOW - there are threads about their failed attempts to selective scam a user from the forum. Even if the code is open source I for one will never use anything those scammers provide and would advise all to proceed with caution if using them and their services:

This Solodovnyk guy seems to be creating a scam a week....

He seems to be involved in many crypto related scams all using fake exchanges
8464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin First Billionaire: Winklevoss Twins on: December 27, 2019, 03:45:50 PM
The brothers have done a lot for the crypto industry, but despite this they have not fulfilled many promises.

I am not aware of any... Can you name any of the many alleged promises you refer to?
8465  Economy / Reputation / Re: YOBIT SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: December 27, 2019, 03:07:18 AM
i have cryptotalk.org and it doesn't pay if you don't update the sig.

Before I posted this in your self-moderated thread, I was pretty sure you were wearing that yobit investbox x10 signature. I didn't bother archiving at that time since think I didn't you would backtrack after my comment.

quoting in case it gets deleted
Whatever happens,  there are high risk of loosing money. Be aware.

At the signature they say, buy x10 and earn 10% daily. they can give x10 token ten percent everyday, its not big a deal but high risk of losing money.

It's ironic that you are warning users from buying X10 tokens and yet you are promoting it in your signature.

You are also going against the statement in yobit investbox that it is 100% safe.

Thank you for the post and images.

Without a shadow of doubt the whole x10 investment plan is nothing more than a disgraceful attempt to lure in investors knowing that they will lose their investment which leaves Yobit as the only winners.

I got most of my coins back fortunately (BTC) but I'm still out 0.2BTC. I didn't really expect to get it back, but now I know I won't, this liquidation thing seems really fishy. Are they hiring, I want that job paid 600$ an hour as an IT specialist !

The liquidators will be taking a large chunk of whatever funds they recover which will further shrink the amounts victims will receive and will not cover all their losses.
8467  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: December 27, 2019, 02:33:29 AM
The situation is complicated further by the fact that the user is trying to claim an account that's been involved in suspicious activities in the past.

OK - you stated it - the user is possibly scamming.

You should provide evidence to back this up, otherwise - besides violating any privacy policy you may have ,you look like you are scamming funds.

The thing is, he's trying to claim ownership of an already existing account while writing us from a different email address. We cannot meet him halfway in terms of security and everything we requested is vital.
Sorry if that wasn't clear from our previous replies.

You are not sorry for anything. You just post nonsense in this thread from time to time apologising and asking for ticket numbers to help resolve issues but it is commonly known as misdirection just to keep a visible log to show activity when the inevitable legal action commences.

Pathetic
8468  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 27, 2019, 12:11:42 AM
Since you don't care, you've opened dozens of pages and titles and made the event bigger.

If you mean threads about Yobit and their scams - that's not related to how you choose to waste your money. I wish I could say I'm surprised that you don't see the difference but unfortunately your entire contribution in this discussion seems to be riddled with meaningless deflective shitposts like this.

In a speculative market players are after the opportunity. You speak like a normal market.
A market that falls from $ 1400 to $ 90 in a very short time smells like scam (eth).
A market that falls from $ 20k to $ 3k is all scam (BTC)
A coin that falls from $ 150 to $ 5 is a scam. (neo)
what do you think people should do to survive in this market suchmoon.

People have to make money to stay afloat. what will they do? In a market that has been falling for 2 years, nobody can survive except those who deal with margin.
people live with money, buy bread with money, pay rent with money, pay their bills. what do you suggest here?

we don't live in the dream world, we live in the real world.

https://www.bloomberght.com/altin/altin-ons

this is not a stable market like the gold market! therefore everything is valuable or worthless within its period. If it's cheap, you'il get it, you'il sell it when it's worth. it's called trading.

After reading several posts from you which basically resulted in me not appreciating your style or approach to this whole Yobit subject I am very reluctantly posting this for your perusal as I feel I have no choice now.

It is down to your frequent condescending conduct that the picture you have painted for yourself is not a positive one because you tend to come across as somebody who is willing to say and willing to do anything, effectively is willing to go to any lengths just to defend Yobit and in the process earn money by promoting their very tainted brand. I might well be wrong but my opinion is based on the image you have projected and that is down to you alone.

Keeping that aside, kindly explain why you or anybody else would expect that a user posting views about one project has to by default post like minded comments about other or all projects that are/might be underhanded?

And why does your post allude to the unacceptable notion that just because one project is/might be underhanded, shady or an out and out scam it makes it acceptable to either promote or utilise others because of an all of them do it anyway false justification?

If the market has been falling for 2 years (as you put it) why does that justify you or any other user taking action for promoting or utilising any project that the majority of community consensus simply disassociated themselves with because of their previous record and history?

If ETH fell from approximately $1400 all time high to approximately $90 what has that got to do with you promoting Yobit?

Please can you kindly clarify the specific link you are trying make between any falling or climbing market and any user including yourself displaying a Yobit signature to earn money and thoroughly defending it?

8469  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 26, 2019, 10:46:32 PM
Yoshit is no longer a scam exchange, they don't have Investbox, fake coins, pump timers, fake volumes, wash trading and coins stuck on old chains. Nope!!! All 100+ threads against them have disappeared or has been positively resolved. How dare we call them Ponzi promoters. Shame on us!

Lol what a farce this is.  Cheesy

Yeah, bro because....

If you buy an Ac Milan jersey it doesn't mean you support Berlusconi
If you buy a bottle of Absolut Vodka it doesn't mean you support Putin, (probably because it's made in Sweden)
Just as if you buy a Diablo 3 game it doesn't mean you are a member of the Bill Gates Foundation...

Or any other stupid dumb as f*** comparisons that people will come up to justify instead of openly telling why they do this....it pays!
And we already know, as long as something is giving money people will shill for it, no matter how big of a scam it it.

And yeah, yobit is not a scam because it still hasn't run with everyone's money, yet.
Just like bitconnect and onecoin were legit ...until... Wink

The analogies listed are excellent examples.

Somehow those that wish to ignore the claims and evidence against Yobit continue to do so simply (it seems) just to get pennies for promoting their brand. That part used to baffle me but no longer does because for some it seems money is the only thing that matters to them.

Whereas there will always be a long list of forum members willing to do anything for the sake of promoting a brand and making money at all costs, at some point the forum owners will need to take strong action against any individual or project that uses the forum as a tool to dupe potential investors.

Leicester City 0-4 Liverpool

Apart from some flashes of attack by Leicester it was a classy display by Liverpool who found the match fairly easy.

Congratulations to Liverpool.

Do you know any multi-shitcoin wallet that is not 'shitful'?  Grin

And I don't know how you know that that this wallets are not open source.
I checked github for some and it is clearly Open source.
Trust wallet is supported by Binance exchange.

I don't support any of this wallets I just gave OP options to Coinomi that is confirmed NOT open source.

We can't have old and open source wallets for many shitcoins....they have to be new, open or closed source.

Ledger and other hardware wallets are also closed source.

All advice and feedback is welcomed, thank you.

Sadly Exodus is not open source either: https://support.exodus.io/article/89-is-exodus-open-source
8473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 26, 2019, 06:28:32 PM

Manchester United should have won because they lost points last week especially today they play at home there is no reason to lose a second time
My prediction Man United wins at least 2 goals difference.
3-1 for Utd so far and we still have few minutes left in the first half. Utd can expect a win from this match.

After concediding the first goal, I thought we were going to see another losing match for them or the best is to manage a draw but now it seems they are going to get full points now. Coming back from two goals behind seems pretty much hard for Newcastle.

Edit: 3-1 for Utd at half time.

Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood was composed and took that shot with immense maturity to make it 2-1. He is just 18 years old. He has a great future ahead of him.

Newcastle United seemed to have the situation under control, happy to be 0-1 ahead and happy to hit Manchester United on the counter attack but their plan backfired because of the raw speed Manchester United have going forward even without Daniel James on the pitch.
8474  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT: Cryptoknowmics Token Sale on: December 26, 2019, 12:47:22 PM
OP has been updated. There are now 678 known sock-puppets / paid shills associated with the cryptoknowmics scam.

You did the due diligence investigation and highlighted major red flags.

All is pointing out to another token sale which is going to give a whipping "negative profit" of 95% on the short run.

Investors are warned. There is no use to post later that they thought it was a great investment. They won't even have the usual excuse that it was hard to find suspicious evidence. It's here posted for all to see and check.

The OP has been updated. There are a staggering 742 paid-shills for hire associated with those provided by Vitor Services scammers.
8475  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Coinomi Wallet - Looking For Honest Reviews on: December 26, 2019, 12:34:22 PM
So the user who lost founds, or claimed that he lost founds, never actually proved that  Huh
And now Coinomi is considering taking legal actions against him for putting user funds at risk making and not reporting the bugs (that were fixed the same day) to support staff of Coinomi.

If the version of events are correct it means Coinomi claimed in May 2019 it was starting legal proceedings (against the accuser Al Maawali) but I have no idea what has happened in the subsequent 7 months.

Regardless of how the funds were stolen and who is to blame the moral of the story is: Coinomi is closed source so all are advised to find an alternative

8476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: December 26, 2019, 12:22:42 PM
You are right, people who believed this project are in huge loss, even though we are seeing active developments and it is not helping the coin to increase the price. 200 sats is really high price but we are seeing many other coins are increasing with developments so we have to wait and see how far it will show its potential in the market.

The active development that you refer to are nothing more than several pointless exercises which if anything have not only contributed to but have exacerbated the financial haemorrhage Pundi X is suffering from.

The chances of this project and the tokens ever reaching its full potential are nearly over. I cannot see how it will recover and get back to the time when the token was in demand and a time when investors believed and trusted the Pundi X team.

They side-stepped a simple business rule which was to focus on their core product (XPOS) and roll it out internationally before jumping in to other ventures therefore they will pay a heave price and incur huge losses just as their investors will too.

JollyGood have you ever doing research about Whitebit exchange?
I came across some negative feedback to them, also on Reddit someone find connection with Coinsbit, p2pb2b and xcrypt

Thank you for bringing it up as a topic of discussion. I have seen the name Whitebit used a few times. It was also mentioned in the Angry Beur tweets linking them to (as you said) p2pb2b, coinsbit and Ukrainian scammer Valerii Solodovnyk.

In the coming days I will try to take a closer look at Whitebit and see what I can find then will post about it and hopefully about all known scam exchanges connected to scammer Valerii Solodovnyk.
