Then, presumably,' Bobby Lee = Chinese gubmint Those alexeys of BTC-e = Russian gubmint Mircea Popescu = Romanian gubmint The guy of Bitstamp = Slovenian gubmint Antonopoulos = Greek gubmint Tuur Demeester = Dutch gubmint And so on. Geez, the whole United Nations are out to kill Bitcoin! ... Wow so many gubmints Guess I'll add Kaiser = Russian Gumbit

How come nobody's talking about this? http://maidsafe.netLooks like one of the most innovative uses of the blockchain concept since bitcoin itself. After all it's it just about the money ;-) People were talking about it the IPO pretty much is nearly sold out Or I guess not really an IPO crowdfunding project It is interesting stuff

Since those seem to be the 2 hottest IPO for the year (maidsafe running right now and Ethereum coming within months probably) a lot of people might be wondering in which one to invest.
Now Ethereum is a platform that can do pretty much anything. MaidSafe is just for decentralized hosting (well of everything)
The question is, Ethereium being the more versatile, can you do on top of it what MaidSafe does? And in that meaning are they competitors?
Would either of them need the average user install any clients?
Bit of a tricky question to my understanding Ethereum is a platform that can be used to develop technology on bitcoin based infrastructure but does not rely on the Bitcoin Protocol it's independent MaidSafe does similar things and is decentralized data storage As far as I know you will need to have both clients to use them but will wait for a more informed opinion from someone else.

What's your story? Where did you hear about it first? What got you interested? What made you stay?
Tenborru - On a certain site accepting bitcoin - Reading Satoshis white paper - Hanging out and learning the system and understanding the potential involved

I don't think that third world countries are necessarily going to "adopt" bitcoin, but I think there can be strong inroads for usage of bitcoins as being the primary vehicle for transferring remittances in those third world countries. I mean, the fees Western Union charges is quite ridiculous. But there's a lot more in the way of infrastructure that needs to happen before this can be the case.
I agree infrastructure remains a challenge to be solved but once the proper inroads are made adoption may accelerate quickly

Most of those money is in stocks, capitals and in hard assets. Only a small percentage is in banks and in cash.
True they would not trust them that or in Government Bonds perhaps and using those bonds to sway policy in their favor

bitcoin dominated the world, people don't want to pay taxes to maintain corrupt government people, and the world had become wonderful and peaceful. Hard to reconcile that statement. If the world is wonderful and peaceful, it's probably because there aren't too many corrupt government people left. At that point, bitcoin is just like any other payment system. Currently, there are large black markets, and even larger grey markets. They all use cash. Substitute bitcoin. Kind of a paradox we are implying that the reason it is wonderful and peaceful is because the government has mind controlled everyone to think what it wants and the few divisive sectors are what they are trying to wipe out That said hopefully our advanced storage mechanisms and cryptography have advanced to the point that it is difficult to track these type of communications over the network.

I don't know if this is the right place, but I wanted to share this with you. I want to give you a little advice: don't use the martingale betting system. I just visited just-dice.com and noticed this user: Just Ouch that is painful but reading posts above guess it's not as bad One years salary for some people down the drain for the normal folk though

Well as long as your alive you can learn, that or watch some drama or TV series with subtitles and learn the slow way Well... if I devote 30 minutes to learning a new language every day, by watching the YouTube tutorials, how much time it will take me to master the language fully? I am referring to a world language, such as French, German or Russian. Well spending 30 minutes of your time to watch a language tutorial may be faster than watching some television series with English Subtitles But you can learn the connotations and the subtexts while learning the main language through dramas and television shows French I guess reading Le Petit Prince and learning from Children Stories would help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mVBaKd45jkGerman and Russian never tried myself although Guess you can find stories as well bit slower but in exchange more entertaining That or find your favorite series and try to find the subtitles in English and rewatch in German Russian or French Or music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1lrV4Rs7QM

Those dogs have a sucky fate then If they escape North Korea they will be executed and eaten in China instead lol Go to South Korea and face the landmined border crossing lol.
Don't you know that dog meat is the national dish of South Korea (sic)? If any of the dogs miraculously escape from being shredded to pieces in the minefields, they are definitely going to be shredded by the Korean chefs and added to the Chilli Dog Bow Bow soup. Ha-ha True I just kind of assumed they would not want to go that way in the first place since getting through the forest would be a migration of doom lol. I guess those that do survive and make it will be lunch as well (This begs the question) Where do they go if they do not want to be lunch lol.

(native) German, English and some Slovakian here - and of course, always open for opportunities to work or support in Bitcoinbusinesses hmmm... I am fluent in English and two local languages, and I can read the Cyrillic alphabet. Should have taught myself either German or French long ago. Now it is too late to learn any additional language. Well as long as your alive you can learn, that or watch some drama or TV series with subtitles and learn the slow way
