8481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: On the brighter side, ETH difficulty is down. on: March 29, 2018, 11:12:05 PM
It's not down at all.

What you are looking at is just some variance.

Give it a week or two and it will probably go to a new high anyways in difficulty.

8482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining , still worth it? on: March 29, 2018, 10:46:33 PM
I think most will try and sell on eBay or Craigslist.

Basically getting $400 for your GPU is better than mining for 40 cents a day.

They will most likely keep mining until they find a buyer.
8483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to GPU mining (late March 2018)? on: March 29, 2018, 10:45:00 PM
It seems that nvidia pushed the production of mining cards last 2 months and flooding the market with them thus killing the mining profitability. Also its probably not a bad move to sell gpus now as most of them wont mine the same amount of money in a year that you can get from seling them

Yes I am noticing this also. Basically nivida were best for ZEC due to the high hashrate and low power consumption.

And now the profitability of ZEC became magnitudes lower than ETH profitability.

So many of the older gen AMD GPUs and most Nvidia GPUs are suffering.
8484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you could lock in a year end price on: March 29, 2018, 10:42:15 PM
What you are describing is basically a put option.

You basically buy a $10K put for January 2019 expiry and it lets you sell your BTC at $10K regardless of whatever price it ends up being.

If it goes to $1K, you get to sell at $10K
If it goes to $25K, you don't do anything and sell at $25K if you want.
8485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ethereum. Long-term signal for sale on: March 29, 2018, 10:38:55 PM
Basically I am a buyer at these levels.

Reason being is that $420 was the yearly pivot for 2017 and when it exploded in price at the end of the year it created a huge major bull flag.

Basically $300-400 area is a major support and buy level.
8486  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, fair, BTC, LTC, now ETH competition is live! on: March 29, 2018, 10:36:37 PM

The competition is getting interesting! https://yolodice.local/#bonus

Cheers and good luck,
Ethan

Yes it's pretty crazy at how little 24 ETH is at the moment.

Just a couple months ago that would of been worth over $33K. You could of bought a new german luxury car for that much money.

And today that's only like $9000. Can't even buy a Kia for that much.

8487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: March 29, 2018, 08:24:16 PM
this Raven  coin has a serious up side to it.

I see it over 1 usd by December

Haven't had time to check this coin out.

Is it Nvidia only or can you mine With AMD at fair speeds similiar to Nvidia?

Anyone know what speeds it generates with R9 280X, R9 290 and RX 470
8488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to GPU mining (late March 2018)? on: March 29, 2018, 08:21:21 PM
You can say what happened in the first quarter of 2018 is exactly what happened in the first quarter of 2014.

Basically MtGox caused BTC to go down which is similiar to what happened this year with the selling of the coins by the trustee.

Also Bitmain introduced ASiCs for ETH which made difficulty sky rocket. Basically exactly what happened with LTC back in 2014.

History repeats itself I guess.
8489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: turn off flashing lights of NVIDIA GPUs? on: March 29, 2018, 08:08:49 PM
You can do 2 things.

You can take the GPU apart and just disconnect the LEDs

Or if it's anything like AMD then you just install the Nvidia software and there is an option there to configure the LEDs. Only problem is it's usually a memory and CPU hog because you need to leave it running in the background.
8490  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: March 29, 2018, 07:42:05 PM
I just tried to login after a few months on my account. But it says "try to contact support to recover your account" why is this happening??
username: klu

Depends how old the account is.

If this is an account from like 2015 that you haven't used then those might be had too many login attempts from Bitcointalk forum.

Many people out of laziness just reused the same password and got all their emails and other crypto assets stolen.

The ones that were lucky and used a different password were ok but if there are too many login attempts the site will block it for your protection.

Primedice isn't the only crypto service that does this. Many exchanges do this. Hence you are better off using a unique email and unique username for all the major Bitcoin services that you use to avoid this headache.

U guys really dont care about the players?
5000 DOGE minimum to exchange? whats wrong with u?
0.10 min ltc to exchange ?

u should look to your competition and why people likes it there, listen to your customers, dont make it harder and harder

Around $13.4 to $16 minimum for these coins. Do you think it is too high for you?

Last time when I asked some question about why they stopped exchange option for BURST coin and got a reply like they are not an exchange site. They will open up the exchange only when markets are stable. You can also expect a similar answer to this minimum requirement question.

its not about how much is in USD, its about the minimum bet they force u to play with , and the freedom u choose with what coin to play; im just saying other sites lets u play with same minimum with any coin, anyways, the new minimum ammount of coins u need to exchange is very high..

Bitsler does not force anyone to play with the minimum amount that you think is too high. Bitsler also not forcing you to use the exchange feature, you can just deposit the coin that you want to play if you think that the minimum exchange amount is too high. If the minimum exchange amount is being lowered I'm afraid it will be abused. It is just an extra feature, not the main feature.

Yes you are allowed to pick your bet size but if there is a min deposit then chances are the gamblers willl gamble most of their initial deposit.

Most new gamblers basically all follow the same path.

They deposit $1 and play 1 cent bets on martingale until they eventually go bust with 20 reds in a row.

If they are required to deposit at least $20 or so, then they will most likely go bust with the entire $20 and not the $1.

It's basically a psychological thing. If the money is there they will gamble it. If they need to wait then most likely they will come to their senses and not gamble on fear and greed.

In my area many are trying to get rid of their 1080ti.

Almost each one is priced at MSRP, seems nobody wants to sell below MSRP.

So people aren't desperate yet.

Proceed with KYC within a week , still no money, and no one told me exact date for issuing withdraw, PD ignoring me on all communication channels, looks very bad...  I can't understand reasons for delaying my payment except, if they simply do not want to pay me my 34 BTC...

Probably unless you are using some kinda exploit then you have no reason to fear. Somehow Primedice has been the leading site of this industry and they wont be risking their reputation for only 34 btc. Even they paid 1000+ btc to one exploiter in the past. All you gotta do is contacting them though but that wont really do any difference at all

I've been aware of this user and an admin has been in direct contact via telegram. This isn't something a typical player would have to worry about, larger withdrawals have been going through without issue. This is a very unique situation and we cannot discuss details publicly at this moment but will as soon as possible.

No one contacting me almost 3 weeks, and no explanation is given when I will have my money

Before you sent the BTC over to Primedice, where did those BTC originate from?

Because it seems you got flagged somehow by your deposits by taint analysis.

Did you mix your funds before? Did you use some dark net website?

So you expect me to gamble my money and lose all my savings...
It is gambling and the chance for you to lose all your savings is high while the chance of winning is very slim. Grin Grin

Lottery structure allows you to buy a ticket or few of them and test your luck. You might check our Medium: https://medium.com/@OTTOLOTTO
There you can see unbelievable stories of people winning.
We made lottery transparent with our unique platform.
Im not being to bitter with lottery games or into your site but checking out into your site its shows only minimal interest which is similar into other lottery based games. For now you do have weekly draws which can be happen twice. Currently having a Jackpot 0.148 ETH which do really only shows that interest is less. Hitting lottery jackpots can give you a chance to become millionaire and seeing on the link those are just winners from all sorts of lottery games.

We are just opening our platform, there were no ads at all yet, so the JackPot will grow tremendously in the nearest time.
You can subscribe to any of our social media pages in order to get the latest news from the platform.

Yes but you need to understand that in the crypto gambling world. Lottery gambling isn't very popular.

It's very popular in a city with a state lottery. People buy a $1 ticket and could win $10 million.

However since we got dice and other games which are provably fair, you can just play those instead.
8495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining Historical Charts in USD/Day on: March 28, 2018, 11:45:21 PM
Going to follow up on a weekly update. Basically

Brand new profitability low for ETH, thanks to new ATH difficulty and yearly low on price. Last time ETH was this unprofitable was in Dec 2016

Brand new profitability low for ZEC. Thanks to higher difficulty and lower prices. High end Nvidias are really hurting due to this algo. ZEC was never this unprofitable ever.

Monero profitability seems constant this week.
8496  Economy / Speculation / Re: Daily price watch on: March 28, 2018, 10:17:09 AM
Thanks for the report.

I agree with your settlements.

It seems that there might be another June 2017 repeat where all the alts get hammered while BTc breakouts.

Only issue now is that the volumes are very low compared to before.

I think there are a few reasons for the high deposit limits.

First one is due to fees. If there are too many inputs it will be expensive to send in the future. However
Most of those alts have empty blockchains pretty much.

Second reason can be so they can make more money off you. The more you deposit the more you can lose.

Third being to reduce server load. If too many people are betting pennies then it might slow down the server resources.
8498  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0% house edge, rake and comission on: March 28, 2018, 08:41:51 AM
It does change it. Theory is different from actual. Again, the equation does not factor in human emotions since it is an outside factor. In a perfect world, if the gambler and the casino play an infinite number of games without any other factor then yes both will get 1.00. But the fact is that you still have to factor in human greed and the limits. Well, I guess this is just going in circles and we both agree to disagree.
No, you are going in circles by begging the question and you do not understand the extent of my argument.

Greed does not matter. Individual profit does not matter. It is the total profit of all the players vs. the casino that does matter which is expected to be 0.

So a player gets greedy. There are two outcomes: they win the bet or they lose the bet. The expected profit is 0 from both sides. Thus, as a long-term investment, nothing happens and the casino wastes money from server hosting.

I get what you are saying however you are forgetting this.

If someone buys some scratch tickets and loses, they lost their money.
If someone buys some scratch tickets and wins, they buy more scratch tickets and lose their money anyways.

So fear and greed do play a type of roll.

With 0% house edge however can be overcome by greed and fear by just making an autobot which doesn't feel emotions .
8499  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: March 25, 2018, 08:27:13 AM
There was much BTC stolen in the past and many hackers are trying to mix that money so they can legally withdraw it.

Everyone indeed knows that bitcoin gambling site is much better mixer than those mixer site that charge around 1% fee . Basically it is free and much faster compared to that service. Atleast PD doesnt have any policy of 2x wagering to withdraw the deposit ( like the one on your signature  Cheesy ) otherwise he would have lose everything

People don't use gambling sites so they can save the little 1% fee that most sites charge.

They use it because when a transaction comes from a gambling site it "looks" more legit coming from some mixer service.

Most mixers were already proven to be weak with taint analysis. Even if the fee is dynamic and with a time delay.
8500  Economy / Gambling / Re: Add DICE to your website on: March 25, 2018, 08:13:37 AM
Is there a list so far of websites that have already used/or currently using your service?
I'm interested to see it out on a real usage basis rather than on the demo and also to have their feedbacks.

Would you mind to share it with us? Thank you! and btw this is a cool idea. This reminds me of Yobit Exchange dice game. (Exchange with a gambling game)

I am thinking this would work best on a website like the BTC Reddit or some kind of mining pool.

People get payouts in BTC and there is also an option for them to gamble their mined earnings.

I think it would get a lot of use that way.

Since most pool payouts are small, even if they lost their entire days mining payout the loss wouldn't be too bad.
