8481  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need a method on how to use eBay gift cards on: August 31, 2016, 06:24:32 AM
I recommend to googling first before made a thread, many way and steps to get method to use gift cards.

It's not that easy. ebay has limits and requires you to link a PayPal account. Sometimes or actually most of the time the PayPal linking will get an error because they detect something suspicious
A large possibilities of chance for that your PayPal account will get a limit and review by PayPal because they're will feel suspicious about your account and then if get a limit the problem will become a more complicated.
8482  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to sell stuffs online and earn Bitcoin? on: August 31, 2016, 05:55:41 AM
bitcoin really needs something like e-bay and amazon to start being more serious as a real currency. the openbazaar project seems good and promising but i don't see it taking off yet, and it doesn't seem like being that much popular.
a new things always need a time to be popular but the openbazaar seems only could targetting people who advanced on using internet, just like people who know what's exactly P2P is,but the thing is there's so many people don't even know P2P and it's a problem,so actually open bazaar can't cover larger area than usual online shop
That's why the open bazaars statistic is not showing good things, in every period their statistic is always same. open bazaar is needed a new blow. but behind a lot of people is don't know about the open bazaar and just could targeting people is advanced for using internet i think the basic market like amazon is still keep their domination.
8483  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the BEST SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN? on: August 31, 2016, 05:44:13 AM
Where can I put my efforts here??
What signature campaign is better here??
The bestest one are those who pay daily Cheesy but there are not many campaigns that pay everyday. My second choice would be a campaign that requires less posts to achieve minimum thershold for payment for they prevent spam

As a member rank fellow, I would support my campaign iconomi, who paying good and well. It's maintaining by nice campaign manger yahoo. Here I have received my first payment So I would support forever. Thanks iconomi for the opportunity.
Yeah your right dude I guess iconomi is the besf campaign right now because its not per post but you have to maintain a particular posts, and 6 posts every thread only  so you can be paid by yahoo. Hopefully iconomi will last longer Cheesy
Are you just making jokes?Iconomy just still alive in a month until their ice is starting to launch in exchange site is not longer than a month.
8484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the heck with YoBit signature campaign ?! on: August 31, 2016, 05:37:27 AM
I got kicked from yobit signature campaign soon after showing interest in another exchange site and I never did anything to ask omg why did you kick me? omg what am I going to do now since I'm kicked out?
lol just move on and suggest to stay away from yobit they are showing signs of scam.

Oh yeah they are showing signs of scam you say ? Why don't you tell me some signs of scams happening there , because so far I don't see any and I am with them since I was Jr.Member about 4 months ago or a bit more and they never missed a payment, I am withdrawing daily there without any problem. The only one they have is their hot wallet getting empty time to time but that has been explained several times why it happens. Yobit has closed down their campaign to new members as every new user once reached Member status jumped in Yobit campaign and started posting sh it and spams. Now Yobit is exclusive to only the actual members and you will find not many shit posters left in this campaign.
He said that because he got kick, so yobit now is a scammer? Lol.
Though yobit has the most annoying support it takes weeks before they respond to you. And that's not make them scammers. Yobit is much better  right now because there's no signature spammers if there, well it be counted not just like before that everywhere in every section there is a yobit spammers.

They're not scam, the coins are. This is one problem I see with yobit, they list some scam coins. Of course its the users responsibilities to see whether these coins are suspicious enough. On the good side, they are also listing good coins which can only be seen in yobit such as GPUcoin which I have invested.

Well, that has become the disadvantages from yobit, maybe will be better if they wanna removing or unlisted the dead coins ar another coin is directing into scam coins for saving their members. but yobit is not a scam in my minds.
8485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: August 31, 2016, 12:41:34 AM
Luck can get you one or two profitable sales but if you intend to stay very long in the world of crypto-trading, you need skills to survive. Luck runs out with time, skills get better with time.
That's right you do not have a guarantee anytime you will get lucky for yourself and you need for using some of your efforts and that has relied with your skill.
8486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: August 31, 2016, 12:29:03 AM
I think both is very good and i use both of them, paypal for fiat money and blockchain for bitcoin

both is working better but the problem with paypal is that it is limited to certain countries and its fees of transaction is also very high, in the past I was using it but with that I lost a high amount in paying their fees.
Paypal can maintain or freeze their member's account and money anytime they want and I very hated about that but different with that I like for using PayPal because I can purchase anything just for a click.
8487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: August 31, 2016, 12:14:22 AM
If when you say international currency, you mean replacing dollar, then the answer is that it's going to be a long time.
But I believe that much of the road has already been traveled...
But the topic is vague because it's not giving a detailed about the international currency if that refers to digital payment I think that is possible but for replacing the dollar I think that is just like a miracle because the paper money still become the main stand for the value of digital currency.
8488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Exchanges , a "Free" alternative to mixers ? on: August 31, 2016, 12:02:03 AM
I was really wondering If exchanges could be considered as a free alternative for Mixers like Bitmixer ? Mixers make transactions confusing to whoever is trying to track you , and I guess It's the same thing for exchanges as you don't own your address but there are transactions coming to and going from your address.

I was looking to my address at CoinsBank (AKA bit-x) and I couldn't find much about the addresses I was withdrawing to and there is also transactions that I didn't make in the first place . So yeah , could exchanges be an alternative ? (at least a cheaper/free one)?
That's right because we can generate a new address if we wanna making a transaction of depositing. like we are wanna for depositing into the x site and we can generate a new address for sending them. i think exchanges is simple mixers.
8489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoin ATMs worth using? on: August 30, 2016, 11:38:54 PM
There was a Bitcoin ATM down the street where I used to live, they used to charge $1,000+ per BTC when the average price was between $490-500

Of course they will charge more. Not worth it unless you want the anonymity.
Damn, I think you're just making jokes with an irrelevant example... please correcting about your post... maybe you're not remembering your full experience about bitcoin atm.

I'm not joking, this was at a Hasty Market outlet in Canada.
But I just understanding your post is charge $1000+ for 1 BTC is withdrawal from the atm? okay but you're giving more detailed information about that but I think that is really like a jokes man, I'm sorry if I'm miss understanding. Huh
8490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Danger when buying/selling BTC in person on: August 30, 2016, 11:23:02 PM
Be very careful if you meet someone you don't know.
Pretend the BTC is cash, because it basically is.
You are telling someone you don't know to come meet you, and that you will have money with you.
I see stories on the news every week or two about someone getting robbed meeting someone to sell an Xbox, PlayStation etc.
Please, there are a many ways for avoiding getting robbed in the f2f transaction, make sure you are meet in the police station I think you will never get robbed. LOL Roll Eyes
But in my minds, you're just making a troll because in this time is the era of technologies.
8491  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you doing with Bitcoin? on: August 30, 2016, 11:04:53 PM

8492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If prices crash after halving, what would you do? on: August 30, 2016, 09:37:30 AM
Everyone's excited for the halving event happening around July. Everyone's saving hoping that the price will skyrocket after it.

But what if prices crash down instead? what would you do?
Actually I have never thought about that..I am in the hope that the price will definitely increase after the halving..You should have noticed the recent pump..It shows that the halving rally might have already started..I dont think it will crash at this stage.I also think that it is only you who is thinking about the crash.

you are thinking is from the investor point of view but you cannot see the traders point of view, when they have bought in low then obviously they will try to cash out profit so that time we can see some selling pressure.

My view is after halving their will be correction but not crash in price of bitcoin as everyone is waiting to sell their coin on high price after halving when everyone will come out to sell then who are going to buy that selling rate, this no one notices it, This is what OP is trying to tell.

I have set point of selling my bitcoins from $800+ price slowly slowly so if their is crash i can buy back in low and would have taken profit.
The price of the bitcoin wont change anything after the halving and that is because there are so many people using the coin it will only affect thre people who are mining for the coin as you know there is a limit of coins and when the half of them is reached searching for them is much difficult

Yeah it has been proven now that the price did not crash after halving. There was little time of dump of bitcoins but that was because of Bitfinex hack and halving has nothing to do with the 20% decline in price at that time.

Yeah, it did not crash after halving, now bitcoin is a normal currency with a good strength and even in any situation it will retain its value and we will not lose in there , we have believe on it .
But in my minds, this is very useless, you don't say the price is a crash or not but this time, make a lot of traders is feeling crash caused by the stabilization. and still think about bitcoin price?please don't waste a lot of your time for useless things.
8493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 30, 2016, 09:02:11 AM
BTC will make you money, but only it you hold it for the very, very long term and are able to screen out high volatility and negative newsflow along the way. Easier said than done for most of us.
Simple "time is money" and the theory Holding for long term = passing every good moment on bitcoin = every second waste your profit and your money.

8495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's alternative. on: August 30, 2016, 06:29:02 AM
I have been thinking about this and thought to put it here what's on my mind.
Just think that if some other altcoin has the potential to take place of bitcoins, like people are talking about Monero to take its place because of its privacy and security, what would happen to bitcoins? Is there any altcoin currently which can do this? And if yes, what would be the effect on bitcoins?
A lot of people is wanna trading xmr and then finally they're will come back into bitcoin again. and caused by their priced is so high I can't say or defined that is will become a strong reason for money will replacing bitcoin, like ETH you can see a lot of people is saying same with the statement in this time and finally they all get a wrong.
8496  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How Can I Earn Bitcoins? on: August 30, 2016, 04:00:40 AM
Well, this is my method on how earn bitcoins:
1. First, create signature campaigb so that you have stable money but dont abuse it. Just follow there rules. To get earn and trust.
Your sentences is not effective, what do you mean create or joining.?LOL Roll Eyes

2. Invest it to investment sites, study first the rule of HYIP and PONZI. Investment site has it own risk.
The bad suggestion ever, what are you doing for suggesting everyone for joining into the damn hole ponzi?
3. If you think you have a lot of bitcoins. Study all about crypto trading how to buy stacks and how to sell it?, also study forex trading.
Study of crypto is not needed a lot of bitcoin
4. Optional, if you think you are a very good writer study the flows of advertisement in social media. I mean how to via traffic.
This is only I can help you. Its up to you in the end. Wish I can help.
What do you mean via traffic?you just writing and promoting from your post in social media.
8497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to Purchase Mining Hardware on: August 30, 2016, 02:59:06 AM
Hi guys,

I'm new in bitcoin so i need your opinion. Lately, i loss $100 in all my investment.Because they say Don't put all your egg in one basket so i scatter all my money in some investment site like cloud mining, hyip and ptc site. But all of them were gone one by one aside in genesis. So i am thinking to buy a hardware and put up my own mining. Can you recommend what kind of hardware i can buy from cheapest price? And also how to setup that hardware? Since i am living inside the campus is there any threat/risk using that hardware?Looking forward to your suggestion. Thanks

Warm Regards,
Deos
I think you're in the wrong section, it's correct for moving your topic in here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0

But for more about the mining hardware and you can considering and matching with your amount.

https://www.bitcoinmining.com/bitcoin-mining-hardware/

For how setup the hardware for you.

http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-to-set-up-a-miner/

The risk just for the electricity will go up because will taking a lot of electricity but I think it's just relied on with your miner machine.

8498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: August 30, 2016, 01:03:55 AM
I also do the same it was a lesson for all of us who often kept their money in exchanges, and those online wallets which do not have any good review or history are also not good for keeping our bitcoins in there , as they also can be hacked.
even there is some people used an exchange as their online wallet lol ,

as bitcoin wallet is private , you should not tell and held your private key to anyone ,
by storing bitcoin in third party like an exchange and other online wallet which you did not hold the private key , you are just giving away your bitcoin.
Private key has always become a general things before you're wanna for saving your money in a place, and maybe I know if you are trader and anytime you don't have a time for moving your funds into your wallet but for the normal people is not a traders and keep their money in exchange site. stupid ever.
8499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: August 30, 2016, 12:53:11 AM
well just tell them that it is the money of the future and show them the main things how to use it and thats it
I think only a few young people who think that money is very important and the work is fun. most young people will now prefer to spend their money rather than using bitcoin to benefit? I thought by giving an interest in young children is to give a discount on them when they use bitcoin
Okay, an average teenager does not care about the things is having relationships with money but they always feel glad for spending their time for hang out with their friend.LOL I don't think explaining into child about bitcoin will become an obligation for you.
8500  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitminer.io real or scam? on: August 30, 2016, 12:46:30 AM
Its obviously scam!  Grin

Stay way from all Pronzis!

There was no evidence bitminer.io real mining obvious scam I wonder why so many people believe sites like this
While they could not prove anything. when I saw this site I remember BTC-flow sites similar to bitminer.io
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=950011.0

Well, but learning from the past experience, I think the ending will like the another past case of cloud mining site and in this time a lot of coin member feels coince will be a scam because they already not paid their member for several days. the story is always same.
