It's an upgrade, and good choice by Griffin, he is not getting any younger, and together with Harden, they might chase for their first ever NBA ring this season. Although Griffin is plague with so much injuries in the last couple of years, he can still score and contribute to Nets even if they have the big 3.
Yes, he can still have his contribution to the team. This is actually a good upgrade for them. We've been blown up knowing that Harden was the addition last time.
And with this, then it's another blowing up for the fans.

Just a matter on how coach Nash will manage the time and the rotation of this superstars. And I'm sure Griffin will fit perfectly in the rotation.
Experience wise, he really is perfect for it. But let's see how it will go.

It was heartbreaking to see Adesanya lose and there were so many fellow gamblers who I saw last night betting on Adesanya, I feel for them really because they might have not bet on him if there was no promotion going on. I won't blame stake because they offered 3x winnings on a favorite which is not what every sportsbook can do or does.
A fight is a fight and outcomes won't really be visible at the beginning and nobody has expected that to be a loss for Israel. I know that the promos are encouraging.
But it's still in our hands for who we'll going to bet. There's always another chance and next fights for him.

Do you remember how Conor McGregor got a defeat from Dustin Poirier? Did we expect it? Unusual things are happening in fighting currently, so studying these players' current performances and watching only is the best option for now if you are not sure who to bet upon.
Yes, we didn't anticipate that coming and that's the option that we can do. Bet and watch, nothing more and nothing less. The disappointment of others from that match would even change later on.
And just move on to whatever had happened on that match.

Good luck for Blake Griffin, hopefully he will bring success to the team, it's his chance to also win a championship as Nets are filled with superstars.

Blake Griffin set to play for Brooklyn Nets for remainder of season

Quote
BLAKE Griffin is set to join the star-studded Brooklyn Nets on a veteran’s minimum.

The six-time All-Star quickly found a new home after agreeing to a contract buyout with the Detroit Pistons two days ago.

The 31-year-old Griffin boosts the support crew of the Brooklyn squad being led by James Harden and Kyrie Irving, with Kevin Durant out due to injury.

That's a PG, SG, SF, and PF treble in one team🙆🏽‍♂️.
Who's stopping the Nets this season🤔, Steve is all out for a ring.
This is a sure buff for the Brooklyn Nets. I'm convinced that this is a champion or finals caliber team and roster. But knowing who can stop them, we'll never know if they will choke in some of their games or during the playoffs.
Yeah, Steve is really determined to take it.
8484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: March 09, 2021, 07:47:41 AM
In the financial market trading world, without knowing the bet size aka the simplest form of money management, no one will risk a single greenback. The same idea is always actual for all gamblers.
There's a lot of difference between gambling and finance or trading. In finance, it's normal to be good in money management because it is the main source that you're going to do with that job you do. The main economy lies in the money that you manage and that's how you'll earn or the company you work for.
In gambling, there are other focuses that you have to consider other than that. It is like the industry or mastery you're going to will depend on how you do it.
Of course, there are differences but there are many similarities between both trading and gambling. The money management skills are the same in both sectors, the smart people tend to control the capital by risking the small percentage of bankroll per trade/bet. Mastering money management skills is tough but only experience is not enough to be a profitable gambler in the long term.
As said, it varies from gambler to gambler. There really are gamblers that needed to improve themselves in terms of money/bankroll management.
But if it's just about the experience together with the resourcefulness and being knowledgeable in the sport he's betting, that shall be enough.

8487  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think it's time to go Short on Bitcoin on: March 08, 2021, 11:05:03 PM
You can't predict what will happen in the next 24 hours, if your reference only about volume,
You can predict anything in the market as it's the same as guessing what shall happen within the next 24 hours.

Volume transaction every day is easy to increase and decrease.
But for bitcoin, it's always been stable and that's why it's no problem if the volume is just the case and basis.

You should know that Bitcoin is a long term investment, don't try to find the lowest price and sell it for fast profits, you should buy it as an investment, not as a trading asset
It's the opposite, you should buy it at the lowest price and sell it whenever you want, fast or slow profits. And you can't stop people for using it as a trading asset because it's on every exchange that you can ever find.

8489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: March 08, 2021, 09:47:52 PM
There is saying that were "Many are called but few are chosen", this means that not everyone who will come into
cryptocurrency will become successful in the end.
That's not a saying but a bible verse on Matthew 22:14

They're might be some of them but not all, real talk only. If one nation will do crypto trading
they're economy and traditional business will fall for sure in my own views and assessment or opinion.
A country cannot rely wholly on crypto trading. There are other industries that their people should live in because not everyone can trade and not everyone can bear the risk of cryptocurrencies. But in every aspect of industry, there's already trading that's being done most of the time.

8491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Simple Question - Your investing Strategy on: March 08, 2021, 08:41:39 PM
Doesn't need long complicated answers - just a simple question:

Do you invest
1. mainly on price/the market trends
2. mainly on the underlying usefulnesss of the token
3. pretty even split of the two.
1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. You have to have the two options upon choosing a coin so that you're having a better result. Although it's rampant that there really are coins that are trendy and don't have a use case.
8492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: March 08, 2021, 06:28:49 PM
That's the case for some gamblers and those who have really lived on their lives depending on it, also knew that this might happen to them. But just as you, they might have come up with an idea and strategy on how to control themselves on it.
And that's why they were able to make bold moves and decisions which prolongs their stay and survival as a gambling professional.

I think this is not their merit and not a consequence of their bold moves. We must remember that for every lucky one there are 10 of the same losers, such is gambling. Someone is lucky, someone is not and nothing depends on the player. A few gamblers make a really smart move - after a big win they stop playing forever)

I wish that time will reach for me where I have to stop and just enjoy my winning. However, I think it will only happen if I win a jackpot money in lottery as in sports betting it's not easy to win big unless you have a big bankroll too (which most of us don't have).

There are ways to win big from small bet which is the parlay bet but just like a lottery, the chance is very small.
You can set a goal for yourself and do it. I know that you can do it but, the contentment for one person is uncontrollable if you are aware that you can learn and earn more from it.
It's hard to win in parlay, I've never won on that.
8493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: March 08, 2021, 05:28:09 PM
Of course this knowledge will help you but so far with the experience I have, it is not always good because at least there will be moments where a team has a change whether it is for better or for worse.
Those changes won't happen at the exact time of the game. That's why there are news reports and validated ones before a game commences. And in that news, it's a good source for you to rely on that there's a change to the team that you're following or is about to have a match.
Mostly, teams that have changed, don't do it to have worse results but they're changing their roster or ways for the better.
First thing you have to ensure you properly manage is your bankroll, then knowing the team or the player will just come next as a priority. You win some and you lose some but what's important is you win more so you'll be profitable. With the right bankroll management, you just have to achieve a certain percentage to be profitable, and it also requires a decent bankroll to get a decent profit as a 5% to 10% profit in sports betting is already a good one as long as you are consistently doing it.
Bankroll shall come if you are winning and if you have a plan whenever you lose, you stop. Then that's a good strategy and knowing much about the sport you're betting which I agree is the next priority.
But it's fine if you have a lot of things knew about that sport and it's easier for you to cope up with such news then the next thing would be the bankroll management, whichever is best for the gambler. The situation varies from each gambler.
8494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm trying to find a new coin to stake on: March 08, 2021, 05:03:04 PM
I'm trying to find a new coin to stake, any one with any ideas?

What exchange are you using?
My primary exchange is Kraken and I use it to stake Polkadot and Kusama (12% annually) and Tezos (5.5% annually). You can also stake Cosmos, Ethereum and some other coins.
It's better if you will stake your Tezos in a ledger wallet than to stake it on an exchange. Just saying, maybe you'll be able to reconsider that suggestion because you stake while you hold your coins.

I think Steph and Giannis were the big winners from all star weekend. Giannis for his perfect fg% game and Steph for his long range bombs and winning the 3 point contest. I thought the dunk contest could have been more exciting but I liked the halftime format. Zion and LeBron both disappointed a little.
I agree with Steph. That funny 3 point turn around shot, got the attention of the crowd. Not that much of a highlight but that really took the attention of everyone.
Btw,
Griffin is on Nets.

8496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What made you prefer Hitbtc over Binance? on: March 08, 2021, 09:27:55 AM
You should use Binance, I'm not sure, but it is the best cryptocurrency exchange right now. As for Hitbtc I can't believe it because there were so many negative reviews about it, and it's funny you see so many people talking about it.
Many of those reviews that he has seen were from fake reviews. Those that he has "heard", it's rampant on the web when somebody is looking for a review.
There are fake reviews that are being made for one service or exchange.
8497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: March 08, 2021, 08:36:52 AM
I see some crazy numbers being thrown around, one is an Ethereum coin going to 100k in 2030. How can you tell if a price prediction is too high in relation to market cap? Some people say some coins cannot hit a certain market cap.
I wouldn't draw that high prediction on that year. I might skip some years but that would probably predictions for around 2025 or 2026. Right now, I don't think that we'll see that price because it's hard to believe. But maybe after a few years of showing that ETH will also reach bitcoin's price @ $50k then I might start believing it.

but why can't they reach trillions in market cap?
Because the market is still considered young and not yet matured.
8498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: March 08, 2021, 08:00:06 AM
Personally, I think it is better to look for sponsorship in sports that have a lot of effort, such as football and hockey. I can also imagine that it is difficult to get a foothold there. A sponsorship with a well-known football club naturally costs a lot of money. Then this in itself is not a bad idea.
Probably you haven't seen the most recent partnership of Stake with UFC. If you haven't seen it, check the post.

That seems to be par as what you're thinking about football and hockey.
8499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: March 08, 2021, 07:15:12 AM
I think maybe a few Bitcoins are not enough for my future, Maybe I'll buy or mine more Bitcoin and then I'll keep Bitcoin as long as I can, I can't help but sell some for personal use.
All of us will come to the point that we have to sell for personal use. Maybe for our personal needs or things that we may find to buy and need in our daily lives or just for the luxury and wants.

100 BTC would be enough for me to say that it will be securing out my future not only on having all the necessary things in life like home, clothing, food and other needs but also
on securing things on making out traditional investments not only limited to cryptocurrency but also with those typical physical businesses.
Well, dream is a dream but doesnt mean that it would be impossible to happen.
This is around $5M and that's already good for retirement and that's really a lot of money to spend. I've got pension by that time and at the same time I'll have that savings.
8500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: March 07, 2021, 11:38:20 PM
If you badly need money or something like that then you can sell bitcoin. But in my thinking Bitcoin price will increase more.
It will increase more, more than the ATH that we saw $58k. But you said it correctly that if you're in need and in a bad situation, you have to take care of yourself by selling it. But if you have other options instead of selling bitcoin, choose to sell your alts.

Because this price is now volatile. In my opinion Bitcoin price will hit $60k in then middle of this year. So don't be paniced and wait some more days for making a good profit.
Bitcoin was been volatile since it has started.
