I threw $51 down on the Lakers to beat the Suns here in a little bit.  Planning to watch the game and I need some incentive to root against my hometown boys.  I'm expecting to see DeAndre Ayton get slammed around between Andre Drummond and Anthony Davis all game long.  If Ayton leads the game in rebounds again the way he dominated the boards last game, I think it will signal a real problem for Los Angeles, and especially for Andre Drummond's future in Los Angeles.  It's time for him to come and do what he was signed to do.  Dominate the glass.  Enjoy the game everyone!

I’m always looking to improve whatever I can to make the experience as positive as possible for everyone involved.

A few years back...OG made a custom made silver coin for me. I peeled the coin a few weeks ago and gotta say, this was the first time I had private keys engraved in the coin itself. Pretty cool feature not having to worry about any flood or fire destroying the keys!  Wink

You peeled it!?!  Shocked

Maybe you should run it over with your car a couple of times and toss it into a campfire overnight to test the durability.  Cheesy

I like to say that engraving is better than other methods of storage, but I haven't honestly ever tested it.  It's all just theoretical at this point.

I am sure it would past the test...but I do not want to tarnish the coin as it is still a collectable to me  Wink

Totally understandable. I was 1/2 kidding. Although I am surprised we haven’t seen any attempts to destroy my coin creations in the past, or maybe there have been attempts but the engravings held up so well that publicizing the act would have the effect of enticing buyers to make purchases. That’s what I’ll go with until proven otherwise anyway.

why didn't you reply to my offer which you publicly posted youd "prob gonna take it" via dm or here?

not cool dude- shady as F***

My guess is that it had something to do with this.

I rescind my $50 offer, good luck

You could have posted like krogoth in this thread that you were trying to make a deal and likely would have had better luck as the OP stated he had issues with PM limits. Sending 1 PM and then getting angry the seller moved on after a few weeks seems like a bit of an overreaction, especially after you rescinded your offer.
8505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 25, 2021, 07:32:26 PM
I don’t think there’s any chance that DeAndre Ayton performs like he did in game 1 to help the Suns beat the Lakers. I’d like to see it, but I just don’t believe it will happen. I’d feel alright about betting on the Lakers with a 1.5 point spread and the big men looking to punish Ayton. LeBron might not be fully healthy, but it shouldn’t matter. AD and Drummond are totally responsible for that horrible game 1 loss. They’ll redeem themselves today.
8506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 25, 2021, 05:28:09 AM
I’d go see it live if I were younger and feeling crazy. The fight will be the least of it. The entire city will be partying all weekend and I’m sure the clubs will be absolutely insane. This might not draw the A-list celebrity crowd, but I’m sure there will be plenty of C-listers everywhere you turn that weekend. I wouldn’t hate to be there at all… If you’re young and rich and looking to go a little crazy, I can’t think of a better place to be during this event.
8507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 25, 2021, 02:24:31 AM
The Bucks just had their way with the Miami Heat. It’s hard to imagine the Heat pulling a win out in this series after that performance. They do have one thing going for them though. Charles Barkley pulled out the guarantee that the Bucks would sweep the Heat. As far as I know Charles Barkley has been wrong every time he pulls out the guarantee, so anti-Chuck bettors have something to think about for game 3.
8508  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NastyMining $14K+ / 140oz .999 Silver Coin Giveaway! on: May 24, 2021, 11:44:19 PM
Stack seats!  Cheesy

The closer we get to this giveaway the more excited I get. I’m curious how many different countries I’ll be shipping these to or how much BTC will be raised for NastyFans seats once all is said and done. I can’t say I’m looking forward to spending hours hunched over an engraver, but I’m happy to do it for those in this community that are appreciative. Good luck to everyone!
8509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are backed by Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2021, 09:08:20 PM
This is the most simple question ever asked.  Altcoins were created to grow the Bitcoin stash of their creators.  Using the Bitcoin received to back the altcoin would be them giving up money that could be in their pocket to add value to an altcoin they created to cash in on.  Backing it with the Bitcoin would be a little bit like opening a bank account for your golden goose and letting her own all the golden eggs she lays instead of taking those golden eggs and selling them to enrich yourself.  We all know that nobody is  opening any bank accounts for any geese around here...
8510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Been left with my late uncle's crypto accounts - need some advice on: May 24, 2021, 09:04:31 PM
Can someone kindly advise? I am at a standstill and would really appreciate some guidance with it?

Learn how to claim everything yourself.  You don't need to provide anyone with any actual information about your coins.  They don't need to see addresses or private keys in order to help you.  Go slowly.  Don't make mistakes.  If you do need help, do not use the real information.  95% of the people that will reach out trying to help you are probably going to try and steal from you.  Know this and be safe.  Once you've claimed everything you possibly can and feel like you're done, then you can feel free to have a little trust and provide some information to see if there's anything you missed, but even then keep your private keys private.
8511  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 24, 2021, 08:59:36 PM
Stake just signed a new deal with more UFC fighters who will be brand ambassadors Alexa Grasso from Mexico and Marlon Vera from Ecuador.
There is now total of 3 fighters who are Stake brand ambassadors including champion Israel Adesanya who was the first.

https://stake.com/ufc

Are there any terms made public in these deals?  I'm curious how Stake is managing to get so many fighters on board with the brand.  I don't see a lot of other gambling houses do this.  Does Stake have some sort of "in" with these fighters?  Might we see NFL and NBA players jump on board at some point?  Is Stake open to other partnerships outside of sports?  I'd love to see some more big names representing Stake and I'm sure that this won't be the end.  Congrats to everyone involved over at Stake.com on securing these partnerships!  Keep up the great work!
8512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to divide crypto portfolio currently on: May 24, 2021, 08:56:11 PM
I put my money into the cryptos that are going to go up and avoid the ones that are going to go down.  So far it's worked pretty good.

I hear a lot of talk that Bitcoin might be a long term winner.

I've also heard that shitcoins are not the best investment.

Seems simple enough to me.  Altcoins were in fact only created to get their owners more BTC and weren't taken seriously whatsoever until the development direction of the Bitcoin Core project overtook the promises of the whitepaper and forced the market to splinter into a trillion dollar altcoin market in order to be functional for the actual economy using these coins...  All problems get rectified eventually though.  I see the most common Bitcoin wallet changing to a new development team's creation before I see altcoins becoming a better investment than Bitcoin, but who knows...  Anything could happen and most people would rather create an altcoin than try to fight the toxicity of helping Bitcoin outside of the Core directives so we'll have to wait and see what the future brings.
8513  Economy / Reputation / Re: I got a question for not paying project. on: May 24, 2021, 08:47:12 PM
Q1. Is their any solutions from Bitcointalk Forum team if any project not pay Bounty hunters after completing Bounty and successful?

Q2. Is it possible to take action against this type of project together?

1) Yes.  They will tell you to take some accountability for your actions and to leave negative feedback along with adding a flag on the scammer's account.

2) That's what the flag and negative feedback are for.

Granted, this isn't going to help you at all.  More than likely doing either of the two options suggested will result in your account being attacked by anonymous accounts and painted red with untrusted negative feedback.  Nobody will help you or care, and if you haven't kissed the ass of those in control of the DT network they may even add the trust abusers to their network in order to punish you for proper use of the trust network they seek to have control over (see LoyceV & suchmoon).

Really there is nothing you can do that matters and if you try to do anything it will only result in more negativity coming your way.  The best thing to do is make sure you're dealing with reputable members in the future, and you'll have to dig a lot deeper than the Default Trust network to figure that out.
8514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Angry on: May 24, 2021, 08:40:15 PM
I am angry rn I knew I should execute all my crypto yesterday when China anounced ban.

You cannot change the past, but you can change your attitude.  There is no point in being angry over something that did not happen.  If you live your life this way you will mostly certainly make yourself and those around you miserable.  Instead of being negative over things that didn't happen, try being positive about what does happen in your life.  Money isn't everything and it won't solve any of your problems no matter how much you think it will.  Better than having a million dollars is having a positive attitude that breathes life into those around you.  Maybe investing in crypto isn't for you and your time would be better spent enriching the lives of those around you.  Something to ponder...
8515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 24, 2021, 08:37:22 PM
I honestly didn't see Suns beating Lakers that way, it wasn't even as close as the results show. However what people are missing is the fact that Lakers kept Suns at 99 points which is awesome defense whereas Lebron and AD missed so many shots, they played horrible, played under 40% fg combined, and Devin Booker outscored them combined. Do you really think that AD and Lebron will play that bad for the rest of the series?

I mean Suns fans should be happy about the result but I think they should be scared as well, the moment either Lebron or AD gets better and plays a good game, 99 points is horrible for Suns, Lakers could score 20+ more points than that easily when they get their stars playing properly. Plus CP3 got injured once again, he is known to get injured during playoffs, it is his signature move at this point, let's hope he comesback healthy without any problems, he kept playing so I assume he will be fine.

I didn't see it coming either.  As a Suns fan, DeAndre Anyton's play is definitely inspiring for the future.  I have my doubts as to whether or not he's able to keep that up.  Drummond was supposed to solve that problem, but he was outplayed bigtime last game.  I think Ayton is going to have himself one hell of a battle next game as the Lakers bigs are going to certainly be looking to punish him physically and keep him off the boards.  Especially if CP3 isn't able to come back quickly.  He may be old and injury prone, but it's obvious how important his impact is to the Suns chances of winning.  I hope he's able to get back on the court soon.  He's got to be sick of missing playoff games throughout his career...

8517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ray Dalio says ‘I Have Some Bitcoin’ on: May 24, 2021, 08:19:59 PM
It is nice to see Ray Dalio reverse his position on Bitcoin.  I know there are a lot of people who respect his opinion are were probably caught off guard by his favorable view of Bitcoin now.  They say if 1% of bond money flowed into BTC we would see a $200,000 Bitcoin price.  A lot of investors respect Ray Dalio's insight and opinons on investments.  I think this will be seen by many investors as the all clear sign that the Bitcoin correction is over and ready to run again.  I only wish the leveraged traders would stay out this time, or go short so we can squeeze them.

8519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / [0.02 BTC] Bounty to enable Cross Chain Atomic Swaps for NMC on: May 24, 2021, 08:13:27 AM
Original bounty posted on the Namecoin.org forum here: https://forum.namecoin.org/viewtopic.php?p=17740&sid=defd55abbd438b09f37f6b6775365081#p17740

While this may not be as straightforward as described below, I wanted to make it known that the bounty was available and that users are actively working to make Bitcoin's merged mined old friend a well working and easily accessible decentralized name registrar.

Quote
What if in the not too distant future the demand for .bit domains takes off to the point where people are willing to pay far more for Premium names than their regular registration/renewal cost. It would be incredibly useful to have an application where either NMC or a name can be exchanged for NMC or any other coin.

The approach outlined by Noel Tiernan would work just fine for the community.

Here's a project you can use to help:
https://github.com/decred/atomicswap

If you work off of this all that's needed is to add NMC support and to support the swapping of names in place of currency.

What a strange thing to post on the internet.  It's obviously rubbish but you took the time to make this thread just to spread negativity.  It makes one wonder what is really going on with you.  Did a Republican do something to you in order for you to wish death upon anyone with similar thoughts about how a country should be operated?  Do you think those with opposing views from your own do not deserve the right of life on this planet?  Is there nothing that could be done to save these Republicans?  Do you see any similarities between your way of thinking and past dictators?
