I do not exclude the fact that the price of bitcoin can rise to such a level. But the problem is that the great increase in the popularity of bitcoin can collapse the dollar price. Maybe in 2025, everyone will be millionaires. But for a million dollars you can buy a bottle of whiskey to celebrate such an event.

Morgan Stanley say bitcoin mining only profitable above 8600 dollars. I'm not sure this is correct though, especially if future valuations come anywhere close to fruition.
im not into mining but i dont believe that it was depending on bitcoin price..i guess its about the electricity bills if its cheaper well you may gain good..but if youre region has a high electricity price then thats why low earning from mining happens |

The government working against bitcoin will not accept the fact that bitcoin is helping greatly on the world income,it is changing the financial state of so many individuals as well.
Regulating bitcoin is far from being AGAINST in bitcoin..more countries or governments are creating regulations in al cryptocurrency specially bitcoin so they may have take taxes because of growing market in this community..but it doesnt mean that they are against crypto,most of them are just protecting the interest of theyre people as it was their obligations |

I do not see bitcoin helping the world economy but rather it can help an individual economy. Obviously, every country will not legalise bitcoin but the individual economy that adopts bitcoin can push in a huge investment when bitcoin is down to get some accruing profit from investment when price go up. By such profit, the individual country can better her nation and her people by providing more social amenities, building projects, factories and employment.
Countries can also benefit in a number of ways: 1) If the citizens of a country are making good money with their bitcoin investments, they will also pay more tax to the government. This will result in increased overall revenue for that country. 2) If more people become self dependent by investing in bitcoins, it reduces the work load of government. If these people do not earn anything, government has to spend huge amount of money as compensation package for these people. But were talkin world economy here,and as we all know that only few countries had putted tax on their people that using cryptocurrency..more country are still had nothing to imply about this. The best thing crypto can give to help world economy is the works or jobs it can offer so this may lessen the unemployment and if the employment increases the economy will stabilized |

Cryptocurrency especially bitcoin is not being owned by anyone, so you are free to trade as you want. Even if regulations happened, which I hope it does, the bitcoin investment market will still be an open market for new traders. One can invest in bitcoin, so far one has no bad intentions to scam or fraud with it. Though, there will still be a huge gap between the whale investors and the small investors.
And besides regulatory about cryptocurrency will open the door to the whole world,if every governments and institutions make their regulations and policies over bitcoin,and all the alternative coin all the services that needed by individuals will become operational thru cypro service since almost all the services are being offered by every project of ico.so i see no problem about regulation and this will only favor our community soon |

Sieemma, remember that you are going to get a red trust for this. It is totally the campaign manager's responsibility to get the Escrow done before the start of campaign. Escrow is not done in midst or after the campaign. What did you think, that running a signature campaign is a child's play? Of course, the foolish participants deserved to be scammed, but you can't run from your responsibility.

I don't see how, at this stage, XVG could find real use on porn sites, unless they work on a global fiat-to-XVG exchange too; else, it is just way too "messy".
I also don't have faith in the ability of the present team, and once successful, who is to say that PornHub or any other sites would continue to make the partnership exclusive with XVG? Hence I had sold off my XVG speculative/day-trading stake just before the announcement.
However, this news of a partnership with a segment of the porn industry can only be good for the whole cryptocurrency as a whole -- yet another example to demonstrate actual adoption of cryptocurrencies.

I have recently been doing a lot of trading and have gotten a variety of tokens and some btc and ether don't what to do just yet and holding for too long isn't really working too well, how can i minimize my losses? reinvestment options?
Minimize losses: stop loss. Maximize chances: hold utility coins. Bitcoin. Litecoin. Ethereum. This is exactly the order of priority for me in crypto. Bitcoin will always and should always be more than half of my portfolio. Everything else relies on the success of the leader. Altcoins for me I always love Litecoin as one of the oldest projects. I still do not support Ethereum but I am holding it for a few years. Look at utility first (then, therefore, Monero should be in that list). You sir might be complicating it too much. It should simply be: Maximize profits: ETHEREUM Ethereum has the most potential (to change the world!) of all the coins you mentioned and should receive a nice pump in the coming days. I love this man,a trully supporter and a big fan of ethereum,i was thinking if are you a single holder?just purely ethereum and no other coins?well thats another question.. With sooooo many coins in the market and it being a more popular but just another ALT, in some cases, what do you think the long term will be? I believe most are geared towards the long-term profit of dogecoin but with such a long/high/maybe not possible, hill to climb in all aspects I found, which isn't much, what is the likelihood that dogecoin will be around and then will it ever make it profitable as an investor without daily trading?

The mistake is that we are too hasty to sell them, not patiently holding them for long periods of time. In the Crypto market, if you are patient, you will probably be more successful. Do not worry too much about the current price they will not be good for you.
Theres sometimes that we need no patience instead sometimes being panicked can help if we sell the coins instantly and suddenly drops awhile.this may result to profit because in an instance that the fall continues to happen,its our mistakes not selling ahead our coins when we can buy again when the price totally drops |

do you think that there is a correlation between the price of bitcoin and the news trends ?? I check the google news for "btc" everyday and I noticed that in the previous months when bitcoin's prices were dropping, the news were all grim and calling btc to be dead. however now that we are seeing a "potential" reversal (this could very well be a trap) I am noticing that the news are positive mostly.
so what I think is that the news are reflecting the "emotional" state of the market and what investors are feeling about bitcoin, and now for the most part it's positive.
This is the art of trading cryptocurrencies . News is just news, rumor is just rumor, both of bad or good, its what we call fundamental. Beside them, don't forget about analysis technical which show us about psichology of most trader. So it's technically show up. For me good or bad publicity is still publicity,so what matter what happens bitcoin is getting popularized by this issues,what we onlyneed to do is keep the market alive,lets keep some holdings and patience so when the rebound happens we are ready. This is how media works.they will push what is trending,they dont even care ofhe truth whats important is theyre news to he marketed |

I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
If combinations of luck and skilled happens,then thats what we call a perfect outcome..trading sometimes has some part of gambling because most of the time no one really knows whats the coming price of our coin,then we only rely on luck then...but those experts in trading they can profit in 4 out of 5 trades meaning they can sight the incoming value |

There is no guaranty that you will see another one year with the same kind of profit (you made in 2017). If any such assurance was there then by now all big institutions might have purchased all bitcoins and wait for that good year to come.
All those past history is only for reference so don't invest your money based on that history. It may even do better than 2017 in future but when it happens is the question mark? and people are worried about that because many of the people who are asking questions may be new investors who might have bought coins at peak time.

Some of my post is already deleted and I don't know why. The date I start in this 8th round was April 18 ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2869690.msg35002713#msg35002713), and it's already number 10 count except this post. But when I check the spread sheet, my start post count is 334 and when I check my total post count its only 340 ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile ). Which mean, it only counted as 6 post and 4 post count is missing or already deleted. Losing some post is real, can anyone explain about it? Thanks in advance! Thinking that I need to put some extra effort just to reach the target post. The moderators are cleaning the forum,they deleting those thread that might have huge numbers of comments or those post that has the same topic or issues.so expect more deletion so what to do is be obedient checking your post counts from time to time and add some extra post for completion. The main reason why bitcoin has no legal status in India is the lack of a sound regulatory system.
The government has yet to introduce regulations governing the regulation of bitcoin, such as the regulatory framework for the registration and listing of industry companies.
its their problem not providing regulations while they know that bitcoin ibeing popular in they're country and yet th dont create a policy or regulation..but as of this moment we speak crypto is being regulated in india and i think banned in some matters |
