Verge's Partnership Announcement XVG

Let's talk about Verge ! What's your expectation tomorrow for the announcement ? How much the price will increase? Tonight, I did not see a big buy on exchange yet , are you gonna FOMO??

This is why I don't take announcements seriously. It's more of a hype that they want to increase the demand by making something that excites their investors and attracts more investors. What you did is wrong, you should learn from this incident that you should FOMO in the future. Just buying during the news or announcements makes you a weak investor and its only your basis why you are investing. If you'll sell now, your at loss right? You need to be patient and wait until it recovers but I can't guarantee you that it will.

I don't see how, at this stage, XVG could find real use on porn sites, unless they work on a global fiat-to-XVG exchange too; else, it is just way too "messy".

I also don't have faith in the ability of the present team, and once successful, who is to say that PornHub or any other sites would continue to make the partnership exclusive with XVG? Hence I had sold off my XVG speculative/day-trading stake just before the announcement.

However, this news of a partnership with a segment of the porn industry can only be good for the whole cryptocurrency as a whole -- yet another example to demonstrate actual adoption of cryptocurrencies.

I do not think investors are disappointed, it is actually good news but "sell the news" happened because pricing of this partnership already happened before announcement. They have must not make announcement.

I do not see the partnership with Pornhub as a positive development. The effect will be even more visible on the market in the coming years. It was a nice crypto I thought was potent, but I do not think about investing right now.

It seems to me that this is good news. I am very happy about this event. I'm a big fan of PornHub  site for their creativity. This is a big step to popularize the entire crypto industry

I think pornhub as a porn commodity is not feasible to attract investors to join the Crypto currencies market because there are already hundreds of porn site are in the internet in which the competition is great making the price of every movie shows to become more cheap and some are free. I believed Porn hub will not help XYG to pump up more because most of the porn enthusiast are not engage in Crypto currencies in which credit cards and pay pal are already existing as an instant payment option for an instant porn view.

I agree with you but people spend coins easily compared to spending using credit cards etc. so that may increase the sales of that website.

I think it's not wise to expect any huge partnerships from Verge. They claim to be anonymous coin - so this sphere requires certain degree of anonimity. Everything logical. Anyway Verge will recover after initial dump. They have outstanding marketing people ))

While I don't think it this partnership will make Verge moon, I think it set a good precedent for use case for anonymous coins. Across the board 5 or 6 of the top anonymous coins were up and that may be because of the bull market or that could be because of Verge partnership both are likely imo.

I find it really funny at first but to think that it is only true for a certain segment of the market which is teenagers. As we all know the adult segment seems to have this industry booming. Actually there are lots of lots ICO's related to this industry which indicates that this market has a potential if it will be put into blockchain.

Not sure about what are you saying dude, There are so many people spreading free premium account or something else related to giving premium member account. I think that's only a little percentage of the total amount of visitors are paying to get the premium member. This is a worthless partnership because of the majority of p*rn sites competing on the traffic.

Atleast pornhub is popular for some maniacs inside crypto lol..this is really funny when desperate coins merged with pornsites just to gain investors.hope many investors will be attracted by nude photos and videos 😂

Most of the coins are recovering now,but ofcourse they only follows bitcoin so if bitcoin grow i guess as verge too

I think the ability to pay them anonymously is a perfect use case for XVG. You wouldn't want your wife/girlfriend seeing a bunch of payments to PornHub on your credit card statements. It's a lot easier to explain why you bought $15 worth of XVG from somewhere than it is to explain all of the charges from PornHub. Anyways, this is just one of the many use cases i'm sure we'll be seeing come from the privacy coins in the coming months.

I don't mean to berate verge or anything but how can you say pornhub accepting verge currency as a partnership? If you say that then Bitcoin probably has more payments than any other
