Little kids can get ahold of alcohol too, so I don't see the difference.

I think other ranks have been considered, but like blacksails said above the forum doesn't need any more money (in the words of theymos). I also don't see much point for people to buy lesser ranks, not to mention I don't think many people would donate a smaller amount anyway. They'll be wary that the same thing will happen with the original price and end up paying essentially thousands for a mere useless title ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) .

I think you need to report posts in the thousands with 90% accuracy to stand a chance to be a moderator
There is no fixed number or target amount nor does a high accuracy matter that much. I think theymos and other mods have stated 70% accuracy is still considered very good. Most other mods probably only reported a few hundred before they got asked to be a mod. Whilst there is no fixed target of posts or accuracy obviously the higher the better, but it's probably more about just being active in both reporting and contributing more than anything.

No, stingleword will post that he sent payment out to a user then that space is free for someone else to claim and it's first come first served there and then.

It's really not as easy as just creating a site and expecting the bitcoins to roll in. All of those sites have very stiff competition. Faucets are a waste of time for users and usually their operators don't make much either. Maybe if you had a good idea for a unique faucet that actually paid users a decent amount, but doing so would probably be counterproductive as they pay very little in order to actually turn a minimal profit. There's already plenty of established dice sites and many pop up seemingly monthly along with a range of other casinos and gambling sites. If you really want to create a bitcoin-earning business I'd try come up with something fresh and unique or some sort of site that hasn't implemented bitcoin yet.
Edit: DDuckworth kinda beat me to it haha.

Whilst it would be handy for users I agree with above that it would be too much work to keep updated and also largely futile. Look at deals like Luckybit; places open and get snapped up daily and other deals places become available monthly at the start of the new term etc. The best thing to do is just state that the deals are open or currently active and it's down to the user to check which campaigns are currently open or when they can join.

Why not try buy from the Currency Exchange subforum here? You can often find people wiling to sell for market rate with no fees. What payment options are you willing to/can use? Also, what website are you trying to order from?

Why not consider downloading another client instead of waiting for the blockchain to download? If you don't use it for a while you'll have to wait even more time for the new transactions to synch and to get your coins (if you get sent any).

There's more than 28 staff but 28 is probably roughly the amount that are actively moderating. And the current number of mods or active mods isn't a lot imo and I'd say this forum isn't 'medium sized' but is actually pretty big and will only surely continue to grow. As already mentioned, out of those 28 staff some are more active than others and some only moderate the local boards. I think the current staff can handle the workload - which there is a lot of - but I think there should be some more global mods promoted or people who can moderate site-wide. It's not uncommon for me to report posts and they still be there 2 or 3 hours later.

Why don't you download a light bitcoin wallet like Electrum that doesn't download the blockchain or maybe you could use a blockchain.info online wallet? If you want to keep your current client you could just download the torrent of the blockchain to speed things up: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145386.0

The easiest thing to do would be just to report the actual spam post(s) and state your reason for doing so, but you could also just PM a mod if you wanted, but reporting the posts should suffice.

No free spaces will become available till the next term where I will probably re-open the slots for everyone after payments have been sent (that's providing EdenDice still wishes to keep the campaign going of course).

Theymos will remove it if you wish, but won't change it to something else. Just PM him if you want it gone.

I believe they were limited and restricted to jpgs at one point but a few gif avatars still remain on the forum. I'm sure gifs won't be allowed with the new software.

Read the op. Campaign is full and has been for a while. Free bump to your thread.
Not really free when you're getting paid to post. Also pretty pointless since this campaign is full.

They're not ignored; they're mostly dealt with if they are reported or a mod sees them.
