8541  Economy / Marketplace / Re: my friend have my user and password and my passport scan on: March 11, 2018, 02:15:58 PM
I don't understand, how it can be that your friend have your passwors and passport scan? For gods sake, why did you gave it him? Maybe you also gave him your wallet private keys, access to bank account and etc? If not, you should give it him, because you have to trust in your friend...
Seriously, change your password and enable 2FA. Then you will be sure that your friend wont be able to withdraw your funds. But he can make you some problems with your passport scan if he will involve in fraud operations. But if it's true friend, you should hope that he wont do that.
8542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trying to get referrals, how do you do it? on: March 11, 2018, 01:08:46 AM
Hello guys,
I'm trying to get referrals for my freebitco.in account, but actually it's much harder than i thought... Even by offering 100% referral share (the maximum allowed by the site) i'm unable to get new ones, my topic on micro-earnings got 150 views but actually maybe only 2 of them signed up on the site with my code.

How do you promote your referral links?
there are other forums to do it? there are specific ones for exchanging referrals link?
Thanks.
If you want to get referrals, you should to put more effort. I'm not talking only about Freebitco.in, but about all faucets in general.
Try to post it on other forums like BitcoinGarden, Forum.Bitcoin.com and many others (just use Google search with phrase "Bitcoin forum" and you will find lot of forums where you can post your ref link).
Use Facebook. There are many groups dedicated to Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and faucet. Maybe it's not very effective method to advertise ref link because your post reach will be little. So, you need to spam a lot to get referrals. Don't use your main account, because if you will spam too much you will be banned.
Use Mellowads faucet and spend that faucet money for your ref link advertising. Maybe some other ad networks have faucets.
Offcourse, you can buy advertisements on ad networks or PTC websites to promote yourvref link, but I think it's not worth.
Start your own website/blog where you can promote ref link. You can use free domain and hosting or platforms like Blogger if you don't want to spend money.
This website is overused now, I mean too much popular, every satoshi hunters know this site already. I am even surprised you managed to get 2 refs from this forum. My advice is to look outside the Bitcoin world. Perhaps to people looking to earn some extra bucks monthly, you can introduce Bitcoin to them and then funnel this to your site... Blogging and networking have always been the best sources for this.
Actually, it's not that hard to get referrals on Freebitco.in, despite factors that you mentioned. I have a blog where I promote faucet ref links and I'm getting at least few referrals on Freebitco.in each day.
This site is overused, but still, there are many new people who are joining Bitcoin world and many of these people are starting their journey on Freebitco.in. Number of registered Freebitco.in are growing faster than ever. And from my experience I can tell that's easier to get referrals on famous Freebitco.in than on some new and unknown faucets.
8543  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: March 11, 2018, 12:33:47 AM
Hey, I am interested in the Card and I reside in Lebanon, So far I have only been able to use the debit card from neteller and Payoneer while all the other cards block my country.

I will apply for the card once I read more review and feedback about your service and confirming that you allow and ship to Lebanon, if you can also confirm here as well that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance and looking forward to become one of your permanent clients!
I'm afraid that users outside Europe can't get Mistertango debit card anymore..
8544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 11, 2018, 12:24:31 AM
It seemed they did not need him to dispose of Malaga and it was done easily enough.
Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez was the two who got the sole goals needed and were in their end of the field the entire match.
Good win for Barcelona and shows they are the top team in La Liga with this solid win.
Yeah, easy win of Barca without Messi as expected against worst team of La Liga. Finally Dembele played well and made assist to Coutinho.
Well, Malaga will relegate to Segunda obviously. But today they played with 10 players better than usually with full squad, offcourse Barca didn't played full power because they focused on second leg game against Chelsea.
Only few years ago Malaga played in UCL quarterfinals and was eliminated by Borussia only in additional time and now they are out of La Liga. I hope someone will make Malaga great again and they will come back to La liga :/
8545  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 10, 2018, 12:16:44 AM
There are so many sites are runnings successfully with just 1% house edge and do handle even more bets and they also run a lot of promotions then why can't freebitco site permanently reduce the house edge to reasonable one?

If you want to run promotions should run with site profit but not from players money. 5% is too much for a dice game.
and where the site profits came? players who lost their money dicing = players money
remember freebitco.in is mainly a faucet site not dice/gambling site, feel free to claim faucet without waging your money
other sites you're referring to are a gambling site with (sometimes) a faucet, if you abuse the faucet you'll be banned

freebitco.in offers interest on your idle balance, gambling sites do not
freebitco.in gives lottery tickets when you gamble, gambling sites do not
the most important thing is you don't have to gamble on freebitco.in and use other features on the site
but what else could you do if you register on a gambling site but not gamble your money? Roll Eyes

If it is on freebitco.in, I believe they have so many source of incomes, besides players losing, there is still advertising incomes too so I think if they can allocated their funds well enough they will be easily promoting their site as well using this funds. Btw do you even see some sites offer 5% house edge? I believe there is only one site here that offer huge house edge and that is freebitco.in and with this huge house edge they can manage their lottery sytem as well
I think that they can't lower house of edge. They don't have many additional sources of income. There are no advertisements on freebitco.in - they aren't selling ad spots on website and they aren't using any of advertising networks to monetize website. And don't forget that active gamblers are getting lot of lottery tickets here, also Freebitco.in are paying interest to users who are holding at least 0.0003 BTC.
8546  Other / Meta / Re: How to protect your account from hackers on: March 09, 2018, 03:10:56 PM
Why you are saying that Chromeis the most secure browser? Or it's just personal opinion?
I also can give some advises. First of all, use unique and difficult passwor on Bitcointalk. Don't use words in your password, just use random letters, numbers and symbols. It may not to be convenient, but it's more secure.
Bitcointalk don't have 2FA and it's huge downside.
And I can tell how my account was hacked in past. Hacker who had access to my email changed my Bitcointalk password by using "forgot password" function. Then he also changed email in my bitcointalk profile and I wasn't able to resset my password. Luckily, I was able to recover my account with my staked address. So, it was good lesson that I also have to protect my email and besides strong password, 2FA are also neccessary.
8547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 08, 2018, 11:56:57 PM
Just wondering what you guys who closely follow La Liga think.  Will Zidane leave Real after this season?

I think you guys have a much better 'feel' with Zidane's whole situation at Real...  Are the owners backing him still.  I read one article that mentioned Zidane isn't up for the pressure of being a Real manager, said by the club's president.
If Real will win Champions league, Zidane will stay obviously. Otherwise, everything can happen. Bad performance in La Liga, failure in Copa, well Perez can't be happy about results this season. I remember that Ancelotti results wasn't worse and he waa sacked. But these 2 Champions league trophies in a row changes situation, maybe Perez will give another chance to Zidane and also will spend money to improve squad.
I was watching the standing in Liga and despite missing many matches seems almost all decided:
-Barcelona will win Liga
-Real Madrid, At.Madrid and Valencia in Champion'S League
-Sevilla in the Europa League
-Malaga relegated to Liga2
-La Coruna, Las Palmas, Levante 2 of these 3 will be relegated to Liga 2.
So the last 2 months in Liga will be boring.
Yeah, now it's almost clear that Barca 1st, Atletico 2nd, Real and Valencia in 3-4 position, Sevilla 5th. Only interesting thing - fight for last Europa league spot (6th position). So far difference between 6th and 11th position only 5 points. It will be hot fight.
8548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 08, 2018, 11:32:19 PM
Few weeks ago I said that Arsenal are favorites in this pair, but I really didn't expected that they will win away game 2:0 Cheesy. Mkhitaryan was great tonight. Arsenal almost in the next round, but when it comes to Arsenal, you never can't be sure... And sorry for dumb question, but Aubameyang can't play in UEL this season, because he played for Borussia already, so why Mkhitaryan can play? Is it because that MU now playing in UCL and Arsenal in UEL, while Borussia and Arsenal now in same competition?
Lazio vs Dinamo Kyiv 2:2 was another great game to watch. Dinamo achieved great result before second leg game, but it was worth to mention that Immobile was so close to score a goal on last second.
At.Madrid, Arsenal, Sporting, Marseille are practically already in the quarterfinals. Incredible defeat at home for B.Dortmund against the Salszburg.
At. Madrid seems decidedly superior to the other teams and is my favorite for the Europa League victory.
Borussia loss was big surprise for me, didn't watched this match, so I'm not sure how they managed to loose against not very strong opponent.
I would say that Athletic still have chances, we know that they are playing much better at San Mames and to win 2:0 isn't mission impossible.
Agree about Atletico. I would be surprised if they wont win this trophy.
8549  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: March 08, 2018, 11:12:28 PM
WARNING.

It seems that coinpot has been hacked. I'm not trying to create any FUD. I've contacted Barry already on skype but it seems he's not near his computer.

Change your passwords on coinpot and other microwallets ASAP before there's any damage done.

What happened:
A member  joined a chat and PMd another member ( japakar.com  ), with a big list of login information.
This happened 10 minutes ago, so please be fast, before someone runs any scripts and steals your money.

I had to make sure this was legit, so I tried logging in with 1 account. I picked a random account and I was able to log in.

I have disabled coinpot's API to FH, so there wont be any withdraws towards our end.

Change your passwords in case you're using the same password somewhere else.
Thanks for the warning, mex. Is it that database posted somewhere in public or user just got file from somewhere?
But even if you hackers have Coinpot users login information, it's not likely that they will be able to steal money. To confirm withdrawal you need to click link which are sent to Coinpot user email. If hacker don't access to email, it's not possible to withdraw funds.
8550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW DO I GET MERIT? on: March 08, 2018, 05:15:40 PM
Now you are doing everything wrong.
First of all, why did you started 2 threads about same thing? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3086974.0 (not sure why someone merited that post).
Secondly, it's nth thread about Merit. We saw hundreds of similar threads, if you would use search function, you easily can find answer.
Then, never use all capital letter in title. Never!
These users who received 100 Merits have good knowledge about cryptocurrencies and they are great contributors. Can you compare their and your posts? If not, it means that you aren't deserved Merits. I recomend to read posts of these users with many Merits and learn how to become good contributor.
And never beg for Merits!
8551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for merit points in any way? on: March 08, 2018, 04:43:08 PM
Red trust rating isn't worst thing which may beh appened to you. You still should enjoy that your account wasn't banned. There is zero tolerance policy for copy-pasters.
What you can do now? Live with red trust rating or start new account - you don't have much to loose because your rank isn't high. And it's likely that not many users will give you Merits when they will see red trust rating in your profile.
If you will start new account, don't repeat mistakes that you did. And don't hustle to get Merit. Just try to contribute and you will get Merit.
8552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transactions from a wallet to another wallet anonymously??? on: March 08, 2018, 03:26:22 PM
If you want anonymous transactions, you can use coins like like Monero, Dash, Zcash and some others - it is anonymous coins.
Bitcoin isn't anonymous, so you need to use mixer if you want privacy.

Do you know if there are better ways?

Mixing is the most straightforward solution and should be more than enough for the average user's anonymization needs.

I don't really know if this is a better way, but criminals apparently trade their coins for fully anonymous coins like Monero, then trade it back for what coins they want. This pretty much erases the trail completely, unlike mixing which tend to leave traces.
Ok, thank you. Do you know other methods that can help me, like mixing? Have you already used one of these methods in the past? Thank you so much
Personally, I haven't used mixing, but I don't think that you can find better methods for Bitcoin. Try Bitmixer website which you can see in jseverson signature. It's important to use only trusted mixers if you don't want to be scammed.
8553  Other / Meta / Re: BAN FOR WHAT on: March 08, 2018, 03:00:30 PM
I'm not pointing to somebody,   but it is happening all over and permanent ban for 2-3 messages?   do you think it is fair?
also it was really 2-3 and not 10 or 20
It's fair. You deserved to get ban. And no worry, all other Marinecoin spammers will be banned sooner or later, it's only matter of time.
And your ban is permanent, it means that you are banned from forum as a person - you aren't lowed to create new account and continue posting. You can make only 1 thread in Meta to discuss about your ban.
8554  Other / Meta / Re: I'm not sure about the forum rules, but it really hurts. He need to take back!!! on: March 08, 2018, 12:10:59 AM

Being a reputed campaign manager doesn't mean that he can talk anything as well can describe users with words that suits him. He could have contacted the respective person or the different persons personally and should have made further actions. Without that just terming the entire user community of a particular country as beggars or scumbags is intolerable. He need to take back his words, this is pure racism which is shown in a different way.
This thread isnt really appropriate to be posted on trading discussion. You can move this either on reputation board or meta. Going back to the topic each manager either on bounty or btc campaigns do have different behavior when it comes on handling people. There are positive and negative side on each one of them which is normal, since i cant see on the image posted i cant make a word on such behavior. If you are upset towards this thing then if he do continue to treat people on that way then sooner or later he would really mess up his entire reputation.
Now you can see the image. Help me, to which section should I need to move to get appropriate response for the same.
I think it belongs to Reputation.
And what you are offering? Give him red trust rating for racism or what? It's internet, you don't have to react so sensible when you see such things. I'm not sure why called these people as Indian beggars and scumbags if he aren't sure that these people are really from India. It would be enough to say just beggars and scumbags without mentioning specific country. Still, I think that you overreacted, calm down Wink
8555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 07, 2018, 11:29:50 PM
The incredible game of Juventus, after they left behind from the goals created by Son they managed to rise in the second half by scoring two goals scored by Higuain and Dybala. The victory earned Juventus made them manage to advance to the next round at UCL. From this victory to I get a big advantage for having bet on Juventus victory.
I enjoyed watching Tottenham vs Juventus match, it was fantastic. Tottenham played great, but I think that referee had to give penalty after Vertonghen tackle. Juve was in difficult situation, but then they scored 2 goals in 3 minutes after mistakes of Tottenham defenders. On last minutes Tottenham was close to score 2nd goal, but they didn't managed to do that. Well, despite that Tottenham playing nice football, they still can't win most important matches. I'm happy for Buffon, hope to win first Champions league trophys is still alive.
8556  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I almost logged in to this site, bitcointalk.to, instead of this one. on: March 07, 2018, 03:26:33 PM
As TryNinja already said, it's not possible to login in this website because I also got "Invalid domain key" error.
I often see this fake website in first page of Google search results, sometimes even above original website. Once I mistakenly visited this website and didn't understood why I was logged out (I clicked to always stay logged in on Bitcointalk.org). And when I tried to login in Bitcointalk.to and saw captcha error, only then I realised that's fake website.
I also reported, but I'm not sure that it can help to remove this website from search results.
8557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 07, 2018, 12:34:15 AM
Superb game from Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo as well who upon everything managed to secure a goal of his own for Real Madrid, it seems PSG are going to have to go to the drawing board and prepare for next season.
PSG eliminated from Champions league very early second season in the row. Owner of the team can't be happy about results after he spent unbeleavable amount of money to buy players. I can't imagine that Unai Emery will stay on the team for the next season, no matter he will win trophies in France or not. Local trophies can't satisfy their ambitions. I think it will be another huge summer in PSG. Maybe they will try to buy Griezmann???
8558  Other / Meta / Re: Banning system unfair? on: March 07, 2018, 12:23:59 AM
people got banned because of their own mistakes..
and yeah this site is more sensetive than the others..
so everyone should be more careful
It's not more sensitive. Every forum has their own rules and you have to follow it if you don't want to get a ban. If you will break the rules, it's likely that you will be banned, no matter it's bitcointalk or any other forum on this planet.
8559  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Merit data analysis on: March 07, 2018, 12:16:29 AM
So, only 9725 users sent at least 1 their sMerit. I think ir's too small number and it shows that there are still so many users who aren't aware about Merit system. Bitcointalk has much more active users, if I'm not mistaken ~100k (you need to sign in to your account at least once per month to be considered as active user). Sometimes I'm checking spammy boards like Altcoin discussion, Bounties, Politics & Society and etc, then I open random profiles of Full Members and above, and guess what - mostly of these users haven't sent any single sMerit. Some users complaining that "Merit system aren't generating enough sMerit", "good posts aren't Merited" and etc. But how you can complain when people aren't using their sMerit first of all?
It will be interesting to see more data analysis posted.

SegWit is now available to 100% of customers. SegWit is an important step in scaling the Bitcoin network, and is the first of many product improvements we’re making to help lower fees and improve the Coinbase customer experience. We are continuing to invest in our Bitcoin infrastructure and will be working on implementing additional Bitcoin scalability improvements like transaction batching and improved UTXO management.
