8541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your biggest casino win? on: May 09, 2017, 11:46:37 AM
My biggest win when I gambled and gambled for free is a 0.01 Bitcoin and it was really luck. They ran a chance game that I managed to hit and it was fun because as I was about to quit? I hit it hard. Awesome.

This is close to my situation. My biggest win was around 400k satoshis when I bet 40 sats with 0.01% winning chance on a dice site. Although I gamble it away the same day, it was a great feeling when I won it.
Nice 0.01% winning chance is really unbelievable on hitting that one chance. 40 sats to 400k sats does really need extreme luck on hitting that chance.I didnt experience such thing on playing dice since i do only experienced to win with 6% chance only. Its the biggest amount i did won and also on a dice site too i cant remember exactly the number but assuming its on 0.5 btc.

I enjoyed playing with the bot that you added but I have a question about the game. How much fees or percentage are you guys taking from the winners ? I noticed my profits are slightly reduced every time I win.
Yes, you are right winning amounts do really been reduced every time because site do charge 3% on the amount you have won. Ex. You bet 500 mbtc and won against another player then you should get 1 BTC/1000 mbtc prize since theres a fee of 3% then expect for you to have 970mbtc or 0.970 btc.Hope this clears up regarding on your query Smiley Good luck and enjoy playing on Bitdouble.
8543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2017, 03:02:05 PM

Convincing someone to know bitcoin even more isnt really an easy thing because some people are closed minded ones, they dont easily believe on some opportunities specially that involves on online because they do usually know about scam thats why it affects their trust but as long you do explain itt well to them specially on positive ones and regarding to its benefits then it might caught their attention.

i can understand that due to scam some people do not want to involve in some online opportunities but i think we should make them understand in such a way that they can trust on bitcoin and never take bitcoin in some negative means, and explain in such a way that they can understand all the positive benefits of bitcoin.

Just explain the benefits of bitcoin, it's a good idea, however, it still has a lot to offer. If we only explain the benefits, they will certainly doubt, in addition, full understanding is always needed for each person. Assuming they only see the benefits, and they invest too much in bitcoin and ignore the risks, they will probably lose a lot of money for their mistakes. So, show them both the benefits and disadvantages of bitcoin.

In addition, support the idea you have shared with them by talking about the securitu it has that is still standing firm against the countless attack it has gone through the years. And also you can show them what you have brought with Bitcoin that may be a gadget or anything. In this way your mission to convince that person will be more solid.
This kind of explaining would really do which you do make or show some strong support on bitcoins progress upto now these years which they can able to say that bitcoin is strong and can withstand problems that it experienced and yes showing them something that came from bitcoin earnings would really caught their interest.
8544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 08, 2017, 02:07:47 PM
Sin it can only be for religious fanatics. For me, this is a great opportunity to have fun and win a good amount.
Gambling itself is not a sin however if you are doing bad things like stealing money to be able to play then that makes you a sinner. its actually the gambler who handle such situation, if you are playing for fun its good but if you become a bad person because of your addiction thats not right.
What do you mean with gambling isn't a sin?? Of course gambling is a sin but for people who are firm to their religion and for most members of this forum I'm not sure they think that gambling is a sin, including me.
I think he is , because i also don't believe that gambling is a sin as long as we don't commit any bad thing that makes gambling worst because of the things we do just for us to gamble. There is a good thing in playing gambling, you play it in a good way not to ruin your life and others life .
By accepting your chances you will understand your loses, you will not seek more for money since you know you will just lose more. It will become a sin once your violate your own rules and you loss control causing you to lose an amount you cannot afford to lose, of course it will not ruin your life right away, slowly it will kill you until your realize you loss not only your money but your  life's happiness in general.
It will slowly kill you in the long run and we should really stop that thing to happen thats why its really important to realize this thing on earlier times because if cant able to control gambling over into yourself then it will surely make your life miserable. Its not actually a sin since its just a game for entertainment but when the times that greediness will comeout because of that then its already considered as one.
8545  Economy / Gambling / Re: https://1bitprofit.com on: May 08, 2017, 01:20:01 PM
the site is not that bad, after all
looks like it has been online since ages and it pays alright
not sure how do they sort it with bustabit as it looks like a 100% copy of bustabit (or bustabit is the copy, who knows)
seen some crazy 2500x multipliers today, shame I was not betting anything

Wow it's just really a copy of bustabit, it depends on who was first though. No way of knowing who was first, since a lot of this stuff comes from god know where.

If someone won that 2500x that would be really an awesome win. A really jackpot if you want to call it. Though I don't think anyone would be betting that high anyway.
Don't believe such claims because such multiplier doesn't exist at all specially he just even said through words and I would really like to seek for screenshots related on this one.If he don't have then he might just one of the owners and promoting on the site and saying that bustabit is the copy? Seriously dude? This site is the clone and I can say it wont stand a chance comparing to bustabit.
I believe the same thing, saying without proper proofs are useless and i cant believe on that (X) because even on bustabit i didnt even saw one bet who have this winnings therefore this might really be a joke at all.
I feel like that hes just really promoting the site.I dont really like to play on clone sites because i dont really feel secure and i do have doubts on their credibility.
8546  Economy / Gambling / Re: freebitco.in reduced their free roll lucky number payout? on: May 08, 2017, 11:58:09 AM
It will normally reduce because they do depend on bitcoins price which means they do make it equivalent to the same amount in USD just like before. If it changes then they are reducing and i agree on what have been said above that they are depending on their income too because if they wont adjust for sure they will easily get bankrupt if they decide to stay on previous ways.

our thread was changed to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1889153.msg18767030#msg18767030.

and we are checking it  now.
Message to moderators to lock this thread since your main account already got banned. This is to prevent 2 same threads on gambling section too.

The scam site made hacker angry, if I am correct. R.I.P. OP.
If OP is scammer, he already got -ve trust in his account (realsecondstrade).

What the admin should do instead is try and get his old account back. If he signed a message with an old BTC address he can use that to show the moderators that he is the genuine owner. If he never did that "Meta data stake your BTC address" then since he owns the domain Secondstrade.com he should just post his BTC address or "realsecondstrade" nickname or something unique on the website and the mods might give him control of his old account.

However not sure if they will do that since it looks like the domain might be hacked also by the same guy.

Pretty simple action that he need to do but why still he doesn't retrieve yet his account? Does he care for it or not? Maybe he got a hard time to retrieve it since he doesn't have a sign message proof that required to acquired back what is stolen to him. And this incident surely lowered down their credibility and this one should need to fix asap.
If he could able to do those things that you said then he definitely do that one in no time but as of now issue still not resolved which means he doesnt have the proofs that are required on retrieving his accounts instead he do create new account and notice the public about that and you are right the credibility would really be mainly affected.
8549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: May 07, 2017, 08:07:02 AM
gambling becomes addictive when user gets unexpected winning, that too large sum easily Keep the people under the wings to spend more even on experiencing continued fail after a big win.
To get addicted with gambling, the gambler does not need to win big but just hearing such a big winning of other gambler's itself makes them motivated to keep on playing. This type of gamblers are always getting greedy over time because they always want to win big again and again or want to copy how other gamblers are going.

Not only gambling everywhere addiction happens.
Yes, every where it happens because being greedy is a common characteristics of all human and we are not getting into the practice of controlling it, that must be the prime reason for it.

Greed is a human nature. Humans are creatures who are never satisfied with what they already have. But still it does not mean we respond casually to the people who are greedy in everything. There is a positive greed, such as never satisfied with our learning outcomes, dissatisfied with our test results. But greed in gambling is a bad thing, it will be hard to control if we gamble too often.
I agree on what you have said theres also an positive side of being greedy which means we arent contented on a particular situation or thing. It depends if its on a good intention or on bad but if we are already talking about gambling which really talks about money then greed of money does really come out and we cant really avoid that thing because it would really come out no matter what it does depend on a certain person on how he gonna handle it to avoid bad consequences ahead.

With the network backed up as it is please make sure to set higher fees on deposits if you want your deposit confirmed in a reasonable amount of time

Does it literally means we have to pay higher fees for the transactions so it would be pushed faster or it will be confirmed faster than lower fee?
It means it should be confirmed faster if you set a higher fee.

The value of transaction fees tends to become a problem lately (it means that they have to be high to get a fast confirmation).
For example: I have sent 200$ and I paid 5.6$ fee.
Anyway, this is a blockchain problem, nothing related to Bitdouble.
Problem arise when theres a pile up of unconfirmed transactions on the network and you are correct Bitdouble dont have any relations regarding on the confirmation of either deposit/withdrawal because it does really depends on networks confirmation of a certain transaction and as advice if you do really like to play on the site with fast transfers then always advisable to pay up high tx fee to ease up the waiting time.

8552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: May 05, 2017, 07:33:47 AM
Playing with our profits isnt bad at all because it is an advantage to play those amounts because incase we do lose we just lose those profits we do earn but this is not always the case because there are really times when we do play for the very first time we do already lose and we cant able to make profits out of it instead we would deposit even more to take back those loses.
8553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 05, 2017, 07:04:36 AM
For me gambling is not really a sin. It is how a person or the reason for people to play gambling makes it sinful. Any one who would play just for fun as long as you have not done anything wrong just to be able to gamble. Example is stealing money just to be able to play.

I wonder how many ignorant people will like to contribute to this thread. No matter what you think, it is a sin. Deal with it and just because you are saying that it is not, it doesnt mean it is not. At the end, everyone will be judge accordingly to what they have done. Im not saying that Im not a gambler, in fact I am and Im aware it is a sin

Yes. Sin is sin. Sin will not turn into "not sin" just because you say no. Even though you did not do the wrong thing during the play, for example as you already said, stealing in order to gamble. Gambling has gone wrong from the start, so even though you did not do anything wrong during the gamble, your mistakes are already in the beginning. Religion does forbid us to gamble, but can not hold someone from gambling. Options remain in each other.
actually most of the people do not have any sense of playing gambling they do not play according to strategy or planing, but in fact they play gambling for everything they have. and when they lose everything then they start thinking about how to get money and then they even do not refuse the bad idea like stealing, snatching and any other illegal way of earning money. so i think that is the reason that most of the religions state consider gambling illegal way of earning money.
Gambling is an easy way to earn money , no wonder it is much more easier too to waste that money at same time.
This is one of many reason gambling considered as a sin yeaaa causing a wasteful attitude.
And i a little bit agree with you , an effect that might happened due gambling addiction really harmful.

Addition is a sin and gambling is based in addiction, this means most gamblers can't run from the sin, as they are addicted in game. Another reason to be a sin is the greedy this game causes, greedy is a serious sin.
But you can gamble without sin, just don't be greedy and control yourself and you will be fine, balance, equilibrium is the key.
Seems like you are talking slurred here and there Huh
What i mean about gambling is a sin or maybe part of the process to produce a sin where it is usually causing bad things.
Break your realationship , take a loan and did not pay it and even leading into suicide in some cases.
If youre a type of person who doesnt strong enough to face the consequences that have been experiencing then for sure you will end up on doing suicide.Gambling too much will surely create this things later if you arent aware it will slowly destroy your life thats why we should really be careful on engaging to it,never ever believe that gambling could really make you rich.Sin will come out if you do already made things go wrong.
8554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: May 05, 2017, 06:05:20 AM
Definitely we can guess about our lucky day when we get anything good surprisingly and suddenly. For example, when i start to play gambling and suddenly i win than i call it is my lucky day because i get a money, and if i get lose than no doubt it is not my day. But I always say that words whenever i win in gambling.
We can able to say that we are lucky after winning but knowing it before or when to come, then no one really knows because luck to come to unexpectedly and we would just say we are lucky after we won.
Lucky day would be called if you do won profits on playing gambling thats why we shouldnt rely too much if we won on a certain time because luck isnt on our side all the time.
8555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: May 05, 2017, 05:21:44 AM
You must accept the fact that some of gamblers would lose in the long run, hope you learn some lessons on that 12btc lose next time choose the house so you can profit  Grin
Yeah 12BTC is such a big amount of money don't you think. I see hope that you learn some lessosn on what you did after lossing a such big amount of money that i can't afford to have and afford to play in gambling just to lose it all. Anyways i you did learn some lesson on what did. You should think that gambling is much more risky that we expect.
Regrets do always comes to the last and we would really learn a lesson from that mistake and for sure we will avoid it on next time.12 btc is really a huge amount and if we cant afford to lose it then better not to play gambling at first and yet as you said its very risky and aiming for money will not always work because if we arent lucky enough on playing it then those money that we spend will surely go into casinos pockets.

In every lose there's a regret an ofcourse there is a lessonthat you need to learn in order to avoid the mistake you committed. Lose over 12 btc and that quiet big and very dissapointing because many people want that amount money yet you use it only to play gambling. Every gambler needs to manage their usage of money so that they avoid falling down and comes in the time that nothing will be left to them. Learn to set goals and stop in gambling.
Maybe he does have many bitcoin for him to afford to lose up 12 btc in a matter time. Its really a big amount for us and lessons do really comes after that losing event but in reality there are still gamblers do force themselves to chase those loses again by using or depositing again money to play and hoping they would able to recover it up but in the end they still lose even more.
8556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Etherium going up? on: May 05, 2017, 04:44:10 AM

Etherium went up a lot like a rocket.

What's the reason?

If so, does it collapse?
"Adoption", its always the common reason why a certain coin do pump its price if theres demand then expect for the price to rose up and seeing on the current development of ETH, many already accepted it which does mean demand do increase and price do increase too.Its not surprising because you can see this on most altcoin in the market. It does still collapse and dont expect too much on rise.
8557  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / Re: Fun-casino - online Bitcoin and Funcoin casino. on: May 05, 2017, 04:14:46 AM
Ok my mistake.

It has a value of 0.0002 FUNC/BTC which is very little for most of the payouts that you've sent. So the entire monthly profit was only about ~0.6922 BTC for your site?

How in the world will you end up paying the 17 BTC that you owe that one user who complained a few months back? Him and probably dozens of others who are waiting for withdraws.
The funny part is, as long as the debts are not paid = no win = no dividends! Cheesy

A few months ago I told the admin that he needs to pay his debts first before his site will grow. So that's probably why it only generated less than 1 BTC in profits for an entire month.

I told him if he doesn't have the funds to go to a bank and take out a loan and buy BTC while it still cheap. This was when BTC was $900-1000 or so. Right now look at the price.

Those debts are never going to get paid off... ever

He didnt take the risk on having a loan because he cant still be sure if the price would definitely go up but still a nice piece of advice though. The site would never grow if it still had issues on the past specially talking about debts to its players. This will surely die if he dont pay attention on to those problems. If he want to recover then things can really be settled up.
8558  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: May 05, 2017, 03:39:13 AM
ofcourse it's possible but it will be hard maybe you need some expert knowledge and a team to do that. remember this security is just an illusion . so ifyou're planning to hack some gambling site learn how to deal the risk with in. cybercrime is not a joke so get ready to face what will be the risk and the crime you commited if you do that hacking. why dont just play ? don't ever try to do that.
no system is safe , that is what will people say and it is true there will always a bugs to break . i don't know what exactly op want by discussing this but if he means about security measure/precaution then i think the only one who able to speak about this the professional one , not speculators .

i will not surprised if right now when the bitcoin price skyrocketed there will be a lot of hacking attempts, always becareful!
It's good to educate ourselves on both positive and negative aspects that would affect bitcoin gambling sites, hacking is possible because it has happened before so we should not trust all our money, instead we learn to diversify both our investment funds and every time we bet.

I believe not all funds are kept in their hot wallet
At least half should be kept in a cold wallet, that is basically hack-proof
Also, websites containing millions of $ in bitcoins probably thought about security and invested significant funds into security
Which makes them hard to hack, ofcourse it can be done, it requires a lot of skills you won't be able to obtain in a few years time
You'd also need to be able to hide your traces if you don't want to end up in jail

Nothing is unhackable, I guess. But there is really not much point in hacking gambling sites as most of their hot wallets contain pretty low amount and they surely don't store their cold wallets in their servers. I also agree that the websites have invested a lot of money to prevent this kinds of hacks, so it would be easy but probably doable.
I agree, most gamblings sites are already aware on the possibility of getting hacked thats why they do really secure up their hot wallets even though it has stored small amounts but its really important to aim focus on this thing so that players will see that the site is reliable against on these kind of attacks.Any site is really hackable depending on the security strength.
8559  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 04, 2017, 04:18:30 PM
i have recently seeing new rule for this contest indeed this is confusing me because it is very different from the previous jack race contest and if your calculations was true which mean this is similar just like wager contest
I agree that it's confusing, what if you bet 0.0002 per spin which multiplier will you get 12 or 10? Same goes to the other spin values(0.0005, 0.001 and 0.01). Yes, this is similar to a wagering contest but much favorable to the high rollers because of the rules.

Obviously it is a wagering contest but modified using points. Indeed the points multiplier is a little bit confusing, as you asks that 0.0002 may get 10 or 12 point multiplier is not really clear.
High rollers will win this every week and no chance for low roller to be on top position on the leaderboard.
Yep, it's sad low roller won't stand a change to be in top positions. at least one can try to get 43 mbtc without spending no more than the winning amount. Roll Eyes
Just as expected no low roller would really be included on the top and its just a commonsense thing. Possibilities of winning is still there but on a slim chance and also im quiet confused on the given multipliers above.
Whales and Big players will surely sweep this out.
8560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 04, 2017, 03:26:07 PM
What other cryptocurrency are you using and which casino are you playing at? BTC is getting to expensive to be depositing and playing in just BTC.
Theres no difference at all because you can anytime adjust the amount of bitcoin youd want to deposit just like on betting or depositing while the price is still low on bitcoin. We can just able to say that thing because bitcoin is already valuable and we do hesitate to spend it out on playing gambling but i really strongly argue that its just the same.If you do really like to play on alts then you can use one there are lots of sites do offer such option on betting on altcoin just like on FJ.
